✨🌈Nail Painting Tips for Beginners 🌈✨
Giving ourselves a perfect at-home manicure is easier said than done. But like driving a car or curling your own hair, learning how to paint your nails is a skill worth mastering—if not for the convenience, then for the money it can save us. LOL It’s taken me a looong time to get comfortable with painting my own nails. And from my experience, I have some tips to share with you. 🌈Nail-Painting Tip #1: Always use a base coat It might take you some extra time, but a base coat gives the colored polish something to adhere to, making your manicure last a couple of extra days longer. It also prevents staining on your nails from pigmented paint. 🌈Nail-Painting Tip #2: Don’t forget top coat Top coat seems like a no-brainer for most, but you’d be surprised how many people skip it. Top coat is the easiest way to prevent chips. Look toward a basic top coat (I like Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal or Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat), and paint it all the way to the tip of your nails to lock in your polish. 🌈Nail-Painting Tip #3: Clean up your edges We’ve all colored outside the lines, but when you do it with nail polish, you would like to be precise in your cleanup technique. I will suggest dipping an old lip brush into a bottle of nail polish remover and swiping it around your nail bed to clean up the edges. 🌈Nail-Painting Tip #4: Use cuticle oil religiously Use cuticle oil, which can instantly hydrate your nails. Apply the oil over your entire nail after you’ve painted it—if you accidentally hit your nails against something, the oil offers some slip, so they’re less likely to nick. 🌈Nail-Painting Tip #5: Dry with cold water Okay, it sounds a little weird, but hear me out: Holding your hands under cold water or dipping your fingertips into ice water for a minute or two helps your polish dry faster. So, fill up a small bowl with cold water and chill out (literally). 🌈Nail-Painting Tip #6: Never cut your cuticles Ugh, I know. There’s something so satisfying about cutting your cuticles, but it actually does way more harm than good. To avoid any bacteria or infection, push back your cuticles with an orange stick and some oil. Sharing is caring. 💕

Wear Make-up with Glasses 👓 | TIPS 🔥
Here's what I've learned. Shape yoru brows —— simple effective trick. Setting spray to keep the makeup in place. Opt for a lengthening mascara rather than false eyelashes. Balance the look with a bold lip. Eye concealer is our friend. 🌟Shape your brows. 🌟 Sounds obvious… but many of us feel that because they’re often hidden by our frames, there’s no need to shape our brows. Not true! Behind frames is the perfect moment to apply a little brow gel and brush your brows upward and outward… you’ll be surprised at just how effective this simple trick is in making your brows a feature! 🌟Setting spray to keep the makeup in place.🌟 To prevent foundation and concealer from sticking to your frames, begin with matte moisturizer and finish with setting spray. Because makeup can become greasy and glasses can slide down the nose, I like to use a matte moisturizer on the bridge of the nose to prevent oil formation. Once you've finished your face, Spickard recommends a setting spray to preserve the look and keep your glasses in place. URBAN DECAY - Summer Solstice All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is great and will prevent that dreaded makeup transfer onto your glasses. 🌟Opt for a lengthening mascara rather than false eyelashes.🌟 False eyelashes can definitly framing and widening our eyes, but long, false lashes can brush up against glasses lenses. This can cause streaking on the insides of the lens and can also irritate the eyes. For this reason, choose a great mascara that emphasizes volume over length. Keeping the lashes full and separated will enhance eyes without getting in the way of glasses. #Osmosis - Osmosis Colour's Volumizing Mascara[products]#[FourStars] and tarte - Limited Edition Maneater Voluptuous Mascara accomplish this goal to impressive effect. Oh! Don't forget curl your lashes to make the most of your gorgeous eyes！And they won't scratch against your glasses and make the eyes just "pop"! 🌟Balance the look with a bold lip.🌟 Glasses draw immediate focus to our eye area, so add a pop of color to your face's lower half could banlance your makeup very well. A bold lip makes a serious statement whether you have glasses or not, but the pairing of glasses and a bright lip just reads impossibly chic. Rich, matte lip formulas like FENTY BEAUTY - Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color and MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick in Russian Red pair beautifully with eye-catching frames, creating my effortlessly-stylish look. 🌟Concealer is our friend! 🌟 You need to be aware that your glasses are more likely to magnify those dark eye circles than to hide them! Invest in a good under eye concealer, especially if your frames are dark. The reflection can make dark circles look worse. Perk things up by applying a concealer, and dust with setting powder to finish things off. Bingo. Late nights are your secret again! Sharing is caring.💕

Best Warm Blushes for Fall 🍂
A change in seasons means a change in make up. The bright corals are being pushed to the back of my drawer and making room for the more warm toned ones. I've been showing some blushes in particular a lot of love this Autumn and I really want to share them with you. I'm still so happy I finally own the HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush , although I have this one for a good 3 months now. It gives me the most natural flush of colour and is not too rosy, not too peachy but right in the middle. It goes with every single eye make up look I've done so it's a great all rounder! Another very recent purchase is the #Kiko - Kiko Rebel Bouncy Blush[products]#[FourStars] in 01 Velvety Peach. It's a cream-to-powder blush with a very matte finish - in the way that it doesn't have any shimmer in it - but it still gives a nice and healthy glow because it's a cream product. This one had a dark peach colour, almost has a hint of brown to it which makes it perfect for Autumn. Al oldie but a goodie is the benefit - Rockateur Rose Gold Powder Blush Benefit Sugarbomb Blush. I've always liked this one a lot and recently dug it up from under the pile of blushes I own. This one is again very peachy but it's a lot lighter than the Kiko one and it has quite the amount of shimmer to it. It's a very natural colour though. Next up is CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush in Cola Pop – a long, LONG time favourite of mine, although you wouldn’t know it from the lack of wear on the embossed flower! Cola Pop is the shade that got me into wearing darker blushes because I quickly came to realize it was all in your application. You can wear this lightly if you want, but I tend to be heavy handed with my blush because I actually want to SEE it on my cheeks – none of this “barely there” nonsense thankyouverymuch! The very last shade I have to mention is the MAX FACTOR - Creme Puff Powder Blush in Alluring Rose. I love this one for Autumn because of the brown and orange undertones. It's even close to being a bronzer, but it has too much shimmer in it and still has that rosy tone in it so it's just impossible to serve that purpose. It's so pretty combined with a warm bronzer though, it complements it very well. Sharing is caring. 💕

DEEP CLEAN YOUR SCAL HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KN
When it comes to pampering and getting pretty, we think about so many things. Skincare, haircare, makeup… skincare for the body… but what about your scalp? I have personally victimized my scalp in oh so many ways. Piling on the dry shampoo. Overloading it with product. Abusing it with ultra-drying clarifying shampoos. Ignoring it. The health of your scalp is so, so important. Poor scalp health can actually lead to hair loss – keeping it clean and able to breathe is extremely important. And while washing your hair helps, it needs a deep cleanse every now and again, too. Deep cleansing your scalp regularly will help to encourage healthy hair growth and natural oils, exfoliate dead skin cells, and remove all that yucky dry shampoo buildup. ⭐️Scalp Detox Benefits⭐️ ● Promotes healthy hair growth ● Purifies the scalp of odor-causing bacteria ● Antioxidants prevent oxidative stress and enhance scalp function ● Removes buildup that causes dull hair and scalp imbalances ● Calms scalp irritation and redness ✔️ Tips to keep your hair detox going strong Choose the right shampoo for your hair type When it comes to shampoos, you want to use a cleansing shampoo for your hair type. Hair can be: thin/ normal/ fine/ relaxed/ natural/ damaged or colored You’ll want to get a product made specifically for your hair type. Otherwise, it’ll continue damaging your hair and preventing optimal shine and softness. A great place to start is by finding a shampoo label that has the word “aloe” “toxin rid” or “detox.” You may want to invest in a clarifying shampoo. This shampoo has the ability to remove buildup from hard water minerals and styling residue. One of the benefits of clarifying shampoo is it won’t strip color-treated hair of moisture. #L’Oréal Paris - EverPure Scalp Care Detox Shampoo[products]#[FourStars] which works to give my strands the extra love that they need. Of course, I also follow up with the L'ORÉAL - Ever Pure Scalp Care + Detox Conditioner to replenish my strands with moisture. Together, the duo deeply purifies and cleanses scalp without stripping hair. ✔️Comb your scalp with the right brushes ✔️Use natural oils to keep your hair and scalp healthy Oils are an essential element to hair, relaxed or natural. The oils are what keep hair alive, vibrant, and shiny. Oil can enhance lubrication of the shaft and help prevent hair breakage when applied regularly. When researchers studied the properties of mineral oil, coconut oil(could reduce protein loss), and sunflower oil, they found that all oils helped avoid hair damage, enhance shine, and reduce friction. ✔️Avoid chemicals, heat, and processing To really let your hair detox take effect, here's what you need to avoid: ● dyeing your hair, as bleaching and coloring can damage your strands ● heating your hair with styling irons or scorching tools ● hair products with sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate Sharing is caring.

Must-try Organic Hair Products
It's pretty easy to find good organic beauty products these days. Like, go to Sephora, Ulta, or drugstore and you'll quickly find a top-rated concealer or derm-approved serum made with natural, plant-based ingredients. It seems like the hair world is lagging slightly behind the other beauty categories when it comes to clean, non-toxic, and organic formulations. So to save you time, I did some research (aka lots of product testing and review-reading) to bring you this list . ⭐️prose - Prose Shampoo ⭐️ Natural & Organic | Organic, natural ingredients, free from parabens, mineral oil, dyes, sulfates and GMOs Eco-Friendly | Sustainably-sourced ingredients Ethical | Vegan options Price | Starting at $25 The idea of custom products is brilliant. According to its customers, the scalp is no longer tight and itchy, the curls are more defined, significantly more shiny, less frizz, more manageable and the hair is growing faster than it ever did. There have gluten free and vegan options. I like that the ingredients inside all do something and that there are no junk, toxic ingredients or fillers. Also because of this, the formulas are all potent and a little goes a long way. ⭐️rahua - Classic Shampoo ⭐️ Natural & Organic | Sulfate-, paraben-, & gluten-free Eco-Friendly | Dedicated to the preservation of the Amazon rainforest Ethical | Cruelty-free, sourced & processed with traditional methods, vegan shampoo Price Range | $9-$34 Coconut oil is the star ingredient here, gently lifting dirt from the hair shaft without depositing synthetic nasties on your skin. It also provides a bit of hair growth and scalp stimulation. Not only is the brand making clean, natural, vegan, and organic products, but it's committed to sustaining the Amazon rainforest and its indigenous people. What makes Rahua shampoos even more stand-out special is the amazing molecular structure that “deeply penetrates the hair’s cortex—bonding and repairing it—while simultaneously smoothing the hair’s cuticle.” I love that Rahua offers customers rewards through its Beauty is Power program—and for every bottle purchased, 1 acre is preserved. ⭐️Yarok⭐️ Natural & Organic | Blend of organic & all-natural shampoo Eco-Friendly | Committed to transparency & minimizing its carbon footprint Ethical | Cruelty-free, consciously-sourced, responsibly harvested Price Range | $16–$65 Yarok means Green in Hebrew and was founded by renowned Israeli hair stylist, Mordechai Alvow. Yarok is about relaxation and renewal in the broadest terms, nourishing the scalp with vital nutrients while serenading the senses with uplifting, soothing or simply centering aroma from essential oils to promote wellness from the inside out. Each Yarok formula is a powerful blend of organic and all-natural botanicals that are consciously sourced and responsibly harvested. It uses primarily certified organic ingredients.
My Holy Grail SPF Moisturizer
The OLAY - Complete All Day UV Moisturizer SPF 15 Sensitive Skin has been my go-to daytime moisturizer for almost ten years! That, alone, definitely says something! It is so, so important to protect your skin from the sun, so using SPF daily is key. This product claims to help prevent premature skin damage, conditions skin surface, and provides hydration. This moisturizer is fairly lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving it greasy. I have combo skin that leans more oily, so I try to use products that don’t exacerbate the oiliness! This is also the sensitive skin formula, so it has no scent. After almost a decade of use, this is still my favorite daytime moisturizer that protects my skin from the sun. I feel like I have little sun damage on my face and my skin stays hydrated. My makeup also sits beautifully on top of this moisturizer as well! 😻 At about $8, this moisturizer is definitely worth it! I highly recommend it to all, especially my fellow oily friends! I give this 5/5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LOVE this SPF for oily skin
Ever since I started my journey with Tretinoin cream, I’ve had to deal with excess oiliness due to the extreme drying of my skin. For 4 weeks on Tretinoin, I had been using Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 which left my skin greasy and shiny. But after doing some research and seeing lots of good reviews, I decided to try dear, klairs - Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++ and I have to say it changed my life. It is light and airy on my skin, it doesn’t leave any greasy or tacky residue, it doesn’t make my skin look shiny, there’s no white cast like many other sunscreens out there, and it absorbs right into the skin and doesn’t make my hair greasy or anything, all while still providing moisture to my skin! It’s so amazing I can’t recommend it enough!! It does have a bit of a weird smell at first, but it goes away quickly and isn’t too overwhelming, and the benefits it provides certainly outweigh the smell. And while we’re on the topic of dear, klairs products, I have to say dear, klairs - Fundamental Watery Oil Drop is so amazing! I apply it right after I apply my toner both morning and night and it just sinks into my skin and gives me a really dewy look that isn’t too shiny or overly greasy. It is the tiniest bit tacky when you first apply it, but it quickly goes away. Overall, I think dear, klairs is so wonderful and I can’t stop raving about these two products!

Vitiligo Makeup Story Shared by Winnie Harlow
Harlow was diagnosed with vitiligo, a disease that results in white patches on the skin when she was 4. Vitiligo is a condition in which the skin loses its pigment cells (melanocytes). It can result in discolored patches in different body areas, including the skin, hair, and mucous membranes. Sounds super complicated, right? That's why she hasn't answer when people ask her, "how do you do your makeup." It always changes because her skin always changes. According to the interview, she used just to put eye shadow on top of her skin, but as her brown skin is coming back more on her eyes, and she naturally have dark circles from both her mom and dad. So, she tends to put concealer and foundation on her eyes. Because she did that, she warmed up the area a bit with a bit of brown eye shadow, so as not to make it look like a flat foundation surface. Also, she mentioned that you don't need to be positive all the time. You should make you comfortable! I can't agree more with this attitude: 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧! I love her! She is so pretty, and I love how confident she expressed in this photo! Photo credit to Winnie Harlow.
💰Worth or Not? I tried the same products and my answer is...
As a huge fan of Selena Gomez and a huge fan of Skincare. I'm so excited that she finally launched her own beauty brand --Rare Beauty. In the video featured on Vogue's YouTube channel, Gomez shares her everyday routine. This is why I love her, she is not only introducing her own brand product but also sharing the products she actually used from other brands that she loved. As a skincare obsessor, I got the 2 products she mentioned with her skincare routine that I can not wait to share with you guys. ❤️Selena Gomez's Skin Type She has dry skin, but in certain areas she is oily, also around her T-zone, she has some acne breakouts. My skin type is exactly the same as hers. Combination skin with oily T-zone and dry on the other area. Also acnes in T-zone and on my chin. ❤️Products Used & Tips:: TATCHA: TATCHA - The Dewy Skin CreamThe Dewy Skin Cream 👍 She mentioned the texture is thick and yummy. So when she uses it, it doesn't have to use that much of it. And it can give you a nice hydrating effect. Drunk Elephant Sunscreen:DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 Umbra™ Sheer Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30👍 She applies this daily cause she has lupus which made her need to be careful when she stay under the sun. ❤️My Review: Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream: First of all, the packaging is gorgeous! I love the little cute spoon on the top of the package, but to be honest it is not that useful lol. As well as the cream, the light purple color is very beautiful. I purchased it because I want this to be a part of my skincare routine day and night. However, the texture is too rich for my skin that I can only use it as a nighttime cream. A little amount of use could give my skin perfect hydration and when I wake up on the second day, my skin looks like a skinned boiled egg that is smooth, glowy and I can feel the elasticity. Since I'm a combination skin type, for the daytime, I feel heavy on the skin. Dry skin will definitely love it. I used LaMer Crème de la Mer Moisturizer Cream before and I don't really like that due to the super-rich texture. I feel this Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream (Price for $68) can be LaMer's (Price for $190) DUPE! Even Better! Drunk Elephant Sunscreen SPF 30: Sunscreen is always an indispensable part of my routine. The Iron oxides ingredient in tinted sunscreens provides some protection against blue light and really attract me to buy it. I use it every day after I purchased it and I really love it. This product is a sheer physical sunscreen that gives powerful protection from the UVA/UVB damage and the radiations and oxidative damage. The texture is extremely lightweight that it is wonderful to apply it before makeup foundations. I feel it melt into my skin and is virtually invisible. I always prefer physical sunscreen better than chemical sunscreen. The word chemical sounds scary to me. This one contained no chemicals or silicones that will not cause acne which I highly recommend. ❤️Hope you guys like this❤️
