Bridal Shower Hair style
Bridal Shower Hair style
I am not great with hairstyles pr doing my hair or anything, so I always try to look for quick easy ways to style my hair that still look cute and stylish. This hairstyle I did for a bridal shower this past weekend was something I saw everywhere on pinterest and I thought it looked so cute and something I can actually do myself with my hair type. I have naturally straight, thin hair that doesnt really hold unless I’m on day 2 or 3 hair or lotssss of hairsprays. This hairstyle was done on day 2 hair, where I initially blowdried and straightened it (straightening takes literally 1 minute for me, I mostly straighten out the kinks around my hairline, and quickly pass through root to tip). I started off the hairstyle by sectioning my hair, the top-most portion where you would like a top-bun. I used a texturing powder to create some volume in my hair, which allows me to roughly puff up the hairs and create a thicker-hair look and feel. unite - Expanda Dust Volumizing Powder You can see I work in the powder with my fingertips or a comb, the more you work the powder into your hair, the more volume you end up with. Next I tie that section into a tiny ponytail at the top of my head and proceed to making a bun and pinning it down with bobby pins. I find it works better when I tease that section too, as it helps create a fuller bun that actually stands on its own instead of deflating. That’s basically the finished hairstyle, but to finish off, I have some grey patches that I go in and cover with my L'ORÉAL - Magic Root Cover Up in shade dark brown (though I think I should be using shade black). And voila thats my simple, literally done in 5 minutes hairstyle for a party!
