Purple Eye Makeup w/Silver Eyeliner 🦄

BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE! Summon inspiration from a classic spooky movie! Grab out your most colorful palette with greens and purples! I used the perfect Morphe palette that is full of greens and purples! MORPHE - 35M Boss Mood Artistry Palette 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙤𝙣𝙚 Let’s start with a bright lime green in our crease. Take a fluffy blending brush and apply the green in your crease with winshield wiper motions back and forth. Just worry about the blend on top, we will be covering the lid portion with another color. 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙩𝙬𝙤 Concealer, micellar water, primer.. use what you’re comfy with to create a cut crease! Sketch out your shape and let’s start to fill it in. Find two different purples to give our look some depth. Darker purple on the outer corner of your eye and a brighter more magenta type purple on the inner corner. Blend the colors together and keep it as neat as possible to give a crisp cut crease. 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 Tie it all in together! Add the same green you used earlier to your bottom lash line and bring it up towards your top lid to bring it all together for the look. I suggest using a pencil brush and blending it out with a small blending brush. 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙧 Complete the look. Add some flashy lashes or eyeliner to your eye look. Be bold and add a black lipstick! I used UNINVITED FENTY BEAUTY - Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color I’m not a pro at cut creases, but this was pretty simple and easy for me.

I had a few Ulta gift cards burning a hole in my pocket so I decided to get a few new items to try out. The first item I’ve been dying to try is URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray I wanted to see if it’s worth the hype/price tag. I like this product, but I’d like to use it a few more times. I’m going to do another post next month comparing several different setting sprays to see how the compare. The next item I used is the MILANI - Cheek Kiss Blush in shade cheeky coral. I like the shade and it wears nicely. But I did have to layer it to get the color payoff I was looking for. I also got another cult favorite, PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer I absolutely love this product. I love the texture, the smell, the finish. It’s all great, absolutely worth the price. And the last is another eye shadow pallet from profusion! #Profusion Cosmetics - Starlet palette[products]#[FourStars] I love this palette, although the shimmer shades need a wet brush to be impactful. I recently picked up two products from my local Target a couple days ago: e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel in neutral brown & wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara in very black The first picture is my before - as you can see, my eyebrows are naturally lighter than my hair, and my eyelashes don't particularly stand out. The next photo is me at work in the morning (my uni's music library!) with my eyebrows and mascara done, and the final photo is how it held up into the evening! Throughout the day, I itched my eyes and brows multiple times, and no budge!! Also, I've found that this mascara is easy to use due to its wand, and it doesn't make my eyelashes feel dried out or heavy! Already, I can tell that both of these items are going to be staples in my go-to natural daily look! *DISCLAIMER: Alongside the mascara, I used my regular e.l.f. - Clear Brow & Lash Mascara to prime my eyelashes (I did not use it on my eyebrows, though), and I used e.l.f. - Dewy Coconut Setting Mist to set the entire eye look.

I got new makeup that I’ve been dying to try, so I thought I’d share my thoughts of them with you! Ulta beauty matte primer- I usually use the elf poreless putty primer, but this was really good! It has a nice silicone feel, and it blurs large pores. I wish it came in a bigger container, but it was nice and cheap. Milani foundation- medium coverage, pretty cakey. It has a stronger fragrance than I was hoping for. It accentuated the pores around my nose area. I’m not in love with it, but it’s overall pretty good. Maybelline instant age rewind concealer- this concealer has been talked about a lot recently, and it really is AMAZING. It’s really full coverage, but it also looks natural. And it’s only $7, (I think). Revolution baking/setting powder- This is a nice, loose setting powder, and it does a really good job of mattifying your face. It’s only $10 which is a really good price, but it does have a little flashback. Physicians Formula ultimate butter collection- physicians formula has amazing butter bronzers, highlight, blushes and eyeshadows. I like that it has shades that would work with any skin tone. It’s a little bulky, but it has a mirror, and would be great for travel. The only thing I don’t like is the lip palette. The lip palette is really weird, because it doesn’t have really have pigment, but it doesn’t have the texture of a balm. Also, when you put it on, it has a very strong, and odd flavor. Kind of like plastic. Elf clear eyebrow gel-I mainly got this because of how cheap it is, and I love elf. I got this in clear, and it comes with two sides, a brow side and a clear mascara side. It is pretty nice, but it makes your brows and eyelashes really crunchy feeling. This would be perfect if you want something subtle. For the price ($2), I would recommend it. Wet n wild mascara- It’s okay. The brush is a little to big for my taste, but it’s good for how cheap it is. Revlon lipstick- I got this lip shade in Bare It All, and it is REALLY pretty. It has a really creamy consistency, and I will definitely be getting it in different shades. Would definitely recommend it! Kylie Cosmetics high gloss- I usually don’t buy things this expensive, but it was so pretty, that I decided to go for it. I got the shade Always Shining, and it’s reallyyyy pretty. It looks good alone and with lipsticks. It does have a very strong taste though, so if you want something tasteless, this is not for you. $16 for a lipgloss is pricy, but I’m so glad I bought this! Note: I have Keratosis Pilaris, also known as chicken skin, so if you notice bumpy parts of skin on my face, please ignore them. Thank you!

e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer I don’t really wear concealer much, but I’ve had a few breakouts that have been very red and I want to cover up. I got this and was shocked at how good the shade match was! It was literally the first one I picked up! This is easy to blend out but I have to be careful or this makes my dry patches really stand out. Overall it has pretty good coverage and I like this! For someone who doesn’t use concealer much this was a great, inexpensive product.

I’ve been using this concealer for the past month. It’s inexpensive, blendable (don’t know if that’s a word) & gives great coverage. I purchased mine at Target for about $6, plus tax. I wish that stores would carry more of the darker shades because the only shades that tend to stay in store are of course the lighter shades. e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer

I have accumulated a collection of primers. I have oily skin and HUGE pores so any primer I use I am looking to minimize the appearance of pores and creating a dry base for my makeup. My go to primers are tarte - Timeless Smoothing Primer & BECCA - Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector the combo is MAGICAL ✨. 🍋Benefit thePOREfessional Matte Rescue:This is a liquid gel primer (by gel I mean water!!! So so watery). You have to rub the product in forever to get it to dry and the mattifying effect is minimal. The product also claims to blur pores and it does no such thing. The result is very disappointing because their original primer pretty good. I would not recommend! 🍐Benefit thePOREfessional Face Primer: I like this primer. It is a silky balm and the consistency is a lot thicker than their Matte Rescue Primer. It feels lightweight on the skin. This does a good job of blurring my pores, however, it’s hard for my makeup to grip my face after using this product and some sliding/separating can occur. I like to press this into my face instead of rubbing for best results and really only use this as a back up for when I run out of my Becca Primer. 🍉Milk Hydro Grip Primer: This is a gel primer. It feels lightweight on the face and does a great job of griping makeup. I would recommend this to people with normal to dry skin. This does nothing for oil control so if it isn’t combined with another Mattifying primer it will not last on oily skin. When I use this with my Becca primer it will last all day but it does nothing for pores or mattifying. 🍊✨Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer: I am in LOVE with this primer. It has a very thick consistency and can be a little hard to rub into your skin but once it’s on your pores are gone. Leaves a nice smooth base for my make up. My only qualm is it is only .5 oz and I have to repurchase it more frequently than any of my other products but so worth it! 🍓✨Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector: Another FAVORITE! This works wonders for my oily skin! It can be drying especially if a toner/astringent is apart of your daily skincare routine so I wound recommend to anyone with dry skin. This keeps my face dry all day! If you have oily skin do yourself a favor! 🥭 L’Oréal Infallible Matte-Lock Mattifying Primer: This product did not work for me at all. The matting effect is minimal and it does nothing for my oily skin. It is a white lotion that literally disappears when you rub it in. If you have oily skin DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY 👎🏾🗑

This is the Buxom Blackest Black mascara.BUXOM - Lash Mascara Blackest Black I absolutely adore this product it has became my all time favorite mascara. I love this mascara because it stays on all day and has no fall out. This is hands down the best mascara I’ve ever used. The wand is very long with short bristles so you don’t get your mascara clumped together on your lashes which happens to many mascaras. This is one of my everyday products for sure I highly recommend!

Most days I prefer to go light on makeup if I’m just going out to run a few errands, or doing something casual with friends and family. I have a few key products that I use to help elevate my natural features, ones that I think are the most essential to help us feel more put together. Below are a few of my go to products when I want a fast, easy, and natural makeup look for everyday. You can substitute any of the specific products I mention for your own, these are just what I prefer! 1. BROWS BROWS BROWS Anytime I have nicely groomed and defined brows I immediately feel more confident. There’s something about a nicely fluffed brow that just makes me happy. Not only that, I find that it helps frame the face and adds a bit more definition to the eye area. My current favorite brow routine uses only two products: The Anastasia Brow Wiz and the Anastasia Brow Gel. The Brow Wiz has a very precise pencil tip that helps with shaping my brows and filling them in with small defined strokes, and the gel helps with adding even more definition and shape while making sure they stay put all day. 2. Conceal and Powder Concealer is the most important step to this routine. I focus my concealer application to the center of my face - think under the eyes, around the nose, and chin area. This is where I have the most redness so I focus here and then follow up with some powder. We’re not using a foundation in this routine, but for me the concealer is enough to help even out the skin tone and blend in with the rest of our bare skin, giving a seamless natural look. I’ve been using the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and powder for years now, and they never fail me. 3. Rosy Cheeks I find that blush is a very important step after adding all that concealer and powder, which tends to flatten the face a bit. Blush will give your face a fresh look and help in defining facial structure. I don’t focus the product on the apples of my cheeks, I prefer to take it up on my cheekbones and then blend it to the apples just a bit, this defines my cheekbones more than if I only applied to the apples. Currently I’ve been loving the Wet n Wild Color Icon blush. 4. Bronzer This doesn’t serve the purpose you might expect in this particular routine. When I’m in a hurry out the door I don’t bother bronzing my face, but what I will do is put a bit of bronzer in the crease of my eyelids. It’s a quick and easy step that will define the eye and give it a bronzy look. I use the Benefit Hula Bronzer. 5. Maaaaascaraaaaa This speaks for itself. Without mascara my eyes just look incomplete lol. I’ve been loving the Buxom Lash Mascara, it gives my lashes ample volume and length, and opens up my eyes. So I’ve said before that I’m reallly not good at makeup. I love a holographic shimmer, a color shift, a duochrome. I’m a sucker for them all. Just a collection of holographic inspired products ogx - Kandee Pop Glam Ultra-Hydrating Conditioner this and the shampoo that go with it are my favorite. They smell so sooooo good. And the scent stays. I actually hadn’t used regular shampoo/condition in a couple years but broke my routine just for this scent. Now I’m hooked. It’s great for coaxing a wave out too. KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Alchemist Holographic Palette eh. Pretty and fun. You aren’t wearing it everyday so who cares beyond that. It’s cool as hell. LUSH - Groovy Kind Of Love Bath Bomb I could go broke buying all the Lush bath bombs. This one is no exception. Smells amazing. The color can sometimes stain your skin though, it’s hit or miss. GLAMGLOW - Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer this is one of those products that I can’t ever tell if I love it or hate it. It smells good. Has a good texture. Sometimes I’ll wear instead of moisturizer and I feel like a shimmery oil slick. I think it’s better dabbed on dry spots. I have it in Nude Glow Rare Beauty - Always an Optimist Illuminating Primer URBAN DECAY - URBAN DECAY Single Eyeshadow I would buy every dang duo chrome color Urban Decay made I love these so much! These 2 are Tonic and Lounge. BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter I use this alllllll the time as a highlight for the inner corner of my eyes or to give my lips an extra pop. It’s way too shimmery for all over though. #Doll Face Beauty - hologram prismatic lip gloss[products]#[FourStars] perfect holographic color. Sheer shimmery blue. A little sticky and doesn’t last long.
