Three drugstore blushes for Spring & Summer
Today I want to share three blushes that are really affordable and with great quality. The colors are also nice to use in spring and summer. I will introduce from the most expensive one to the cheapest one. Let’s get started! The first one is from Burt’s Bees named Toasted Cinnamon. This brand is available in CVS as far as I known, and the main concept is “True to natural”, so it is a 100% natural, mineral blush that blends easily and evenly. The biggest advantage of this blush is that it will not cover the sheen of your skin, even it’s a powder product. This color is a nice bronze shade and also makes me look tanned, so I love using it in summer or when I go for a vacation on the beach. To be honest, this is not a blush with high pigmentation, but that is the reason I love it, and you can build it to the pigment you want without ruining the glow on your face. It has Bamboo, Honey and Vitamin E inside so I think it truly worth $9.99. KIKO - Smart Colour Blush

Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighters I Like and I DONT Like
Do you like bronzer, blush or highlighter? I DO! And I really really really want to show you these beautiful products. Also, there are some products I do not like that much. I hope this helps when you are choosing your product! ColourPop Topaz X Alexis Ren Pressed Powder Face Duo is a red-brown shade for the bronzer and a dark champagne shade for the highlighter. It's more suitable for girls with a darker skin tone, but it's not for me. I highly recommendessence - Matt Touch Blush - 01 It's Berry Time. Its powder has a fine texture and except for its poor packaging quality, I like everything about it. COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter- Lunch Money I recommend ColourPop - Lunch Money if you are looking for an affordable, delicate, and pore-minimizing highlighter of a natural and classy champagne shade. I don't recommend NYX Illuminating Palette because it doesn't have a great texture, the shades are not pretty, and I can only use it as an eye shadow highlighter. Also, after buying a few palettes, I realized that there is no need at all to buy a highlighter or blush palette since we only use one or two of the shades.
My top 3 drugstore highlighters
Today I am really excited to share my drugstore highlighters, which are so affordable and easily to blend into my skin. What I gonna share are more like wet-looking and still have strong reflection when facing the light. And even though Colourpop is not really a drugstore brand, the price is really competitive, and the products are amazing. Let’s start from the cheapest one, the mineral highlighter #010 from Catrice, which is an Illuminator cooked baked powder and micro mineral pigments that reflect light to a shiny appearance. This is a beautiful silver pearl color, and I can see a little pink flash after applying on my face. And it can be built up to get a really intense glow and wet-looking. CATRICE COSMETICS - High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder The next one is the Megaglo highlighter from Wet n wild named Golden flower crown, which is a nice gold color. It is less metallic than the other color in this collection, so I love to dust it all around my face and have a nice natural glow. It is definitely buildable and I like doing a soft glam look using it, really love it when I do a golden-brown eye look and wear a red lipstick. wet n wild - MegaGlo Highlighting Powder The last one is my favorite Super Shock highlighter from Colourpop named flexitarian, which is a pearl undertone and perfect for fair skin. What is amazing is that It looks so intense on the cheek but still looks wet. I can also throw it on my browbones and the inner corner of my eyes, perfect for shooting or just taking pictures when travelling. COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter I feel like drugstore brands can always give me surprise, because they are so affordable, and I value more on products than on packaging. They are really worth a try.

Battle of the blushes
As much as I love cream and liquid blushes physicians formula elixir blushes PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Dewy Blush Elixir aren’t my favorite liquid formula. For one, the darker shade I have has beads in it that almost feel like sand, so that in itself is odd. The other shade I have doesn’t have any sand like particles. But it’s so dewy it picks up any makeup that is underneath so this really can only be worn alone. They can bee sheer which I enjoy but they’re extremely dewy so it may not be for everyone. I do however like their powder blush formula. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Blush I wish they would expand the shade range and make the packaging less bulky though. Very thin formula and looks beautiful applied to the skin!

My favorite blushes for spring🥰
It’s already April now, and spring always makes me feel alive and want to be fresh everyday. So what I cannot miss in my daily makeup is blush, especially using it under my eyes and on bridge of the nose. This trick will give my cheeks a boost of health and don’t need too much makeup to look cute. Here are three blushes I go to mostly in spring: Laura Mercier #ginger, MAC #peaches and Clinique #fig pop. Let’s start with #Ginger from Laura Mercier, a warm tone matte apricot nude. Easy to blend, very wearable and buildable. It can match most of the lip colors such as nude pink, rosy beige and pink brown. Sometimes I use it as a base for other blushes to give me a pink beige look. The second one I recommend is #Peaches from Mac cosmetics. Like the name said, it’s a matte pure peach color, which is perfect for spring/summer. The formula of this blush is nice. I usually use a fluffy brush to dip into this blush for only once because it’s really pigmented and I love to build it up instead of put a lot on my face in one time. The last one is #fig pop from Clinique. It’s an orange-coral color with a hint of pink. The texture is smooth, and it has a little sheen inside so it will give me the beautiful glow even without highlighters. This is not as pigmented as the other two blushes, but I prefer this kind of formula cause I don’t need to worry about wearing too much product at once and I can adjust how much to use depending on my makeup. Please let me know what are your favorite blushes for spring!🌸

I love a good natural, dewy, almost sweaty sheen on the skin and I feel you wouldn’t expect a powder highlight to give you that dewy effect but trust me, the essence - Pure Nude Highlighter is such a gorgeous highlighter! It’s not an intense highlighter that you’ll catch from across a room, it’s definitely more subtle but still beautiful. You can make it more intense by applying it with your fingers but I like to use a fluffy highlighter brush and let it melt into my skin. It’s definitely one of my favorite highlighters not just from the drugstore but of all time 💘

My First Favorite Blush.
We all have that one product that opened up a whole new world for us, the Bare Minerals blush opened me up to the universe of rosy cheeks and I haven’t looked back. Color: Golden Gate Radiance- this is a darker toned blush that I feel is perfect for my skin tone. It’s a little on the mauve side and I love it. It also has a beautiful shimmer to it. Formula: loose powder, which after using a lot more blushes since this I am not a big of a fan of them as I am pressed powder blushes. It’s still a great blush and one I reach for quite often. bareMinerals - bareMinerals Blush
