Some awesome red lip products 💋

bareMinerals - Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipstick Easy application, very creamy, very nice colour selection.  However,  for some reason the longevity is poor on me, very high transfer and I also find it quite drying despite its creamy texture.This formula wasn't very hydrating so my lip wrinkles become more sightful. 💋💋 I got 3 shades-Notorious is the bestseller and the other 2 shades are beautiful too. 💄Notorious is a perfect pinky-brown shade. Neutral color for everyday natural looking makeup. You can apply a thin layer for a nice everyday natural looking makeup or go more intense with a dark layer and just looks so glamorous. 💄Kitty is sooo beautiful nude pink color with a little orange . This is great color for the spring and summer to compliment any bright look. 💄Panko is a spiced coral that looks extra plump and shiny on the lips. Prefect for a fan of warmer nudes.

This sheer formula is GORGEOUS! I love Tom Ford’s Boys & Girls lipsticks because 1) I never finish lipsticks so these minis are just the right size and 2) they have SO many shade and formula variants; it’s so fun to collect them all! Plus the clutch sized lipsticks are so luxe. I love it. Currently out of all the formulas and shades I think this is my favourite. Ultra is a sheer but warm toned dark pinky nude that looks very nice on me! I think this formula is the most moisturising out of all the shades but it also doesn’t last very long. It’s kind of like a tinted lip balm but with less nourishing properties. If you ask me I think this formula is the one I would recommend to people the most. I like the other formulas but this one feels a little more natural and easier to pull off. Tom Ford has some wacky shades that don’t suit everyone so this formula might be easier to ease into some of the brighter shades. At $34 for a mini lipstick this might not be as worth it as other full sized ones but to me it’s not too bad - seeing as how I don’t finish the full sized anyway. Tom Ford’s Indian Rose Lipstick is an iconic rose shade that everyone should own. It’s a neutral pink rose with a slight shimmer that is ideal for everyday wear. The shimmer in Indian Rose doesn’t show up on my lips, but helps add dimension. Ingredients like soja seed extract, brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil create an ultra-creamy texture with an incredibly smooth application. I used this lipstick for my wedding day look, and paired it with the Tom Ford Gloss Luxe Lip Gloss in Gratuitious.

I absolutely love this matte lip pencil in the shade cruella. It’s definitely a really matte lip but it doesn’t dry out my lips. It’s not the most moisturizing pencil but it’s pretty good. I really like that if I apply this as a lip liner before I fill in my lips, it doesn’t feather out like some liquid lips and it stays put all day(besides eating and drinking which all lipsticks do). Sometimes if I don’t want the intensity of this color but still want the shade I apply lip balm first then apply a little bit of this color to the middle of my lips and blend it out. Then I add some gloss on top and it looks super cute. Definitely one of my favorite lipsticks. 💄✨✨

Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick Shade: Pillow Talk Intense A bit late to the game but this was one of my first Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks! I can see what the hype is all about! The formula is very comfortable on the lips (I personally like the matte revolution formula more- see below for my comments). That being said, I absolutely love this deeper berry-brown shade. It’s the perfect shade for autumn and gets me so excited for the fall so I can wear this everyday! This is also one of my first lipsticks on the more brown end of the spectrum but think that this color would look good on any skin tone! I’ve always been more of a deep red berry type of person. I docked a star since this lipstick comes with a hefty price tag and while the color is unique and absolutely beautiful, the formula isn’t especially unique. There is a slip to it once it’s on my lips and I feel like it doesn’t have a long staying power. Overall, I think if I am going to buy another lipstick from CT, I will probably go for the matte revolution line. I hope they make this color in the matte revolution line, I would definitely buy on a heartbeat! The rose gold packaging is also beautiful and looks great when on display! Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick Lunar New Year - Limited Edition Shade: Magic Red Now onto the next review! I love the matte revolution line - so much that I already have three colors added to my Sephora wishlist! I’m on a low-buy/no buy this year, so I’m shopping my stash for the time being but can’t wait to use up my products right now so that I can try more new things! This matte formula is non-drying and very comfortable on the lips - it doesn’t feel like I have anything on at all! The bullet of this one seems to be stiffer/harder than the K.I.S.S.I.N.G line but I felt like this one was honestly easier to apply. I originally got this limited edition color since it seemed like it was going to be a deeper berry red - but once I applied it on my lips, it was actually more of a brighter red, perfect for Lunar New Year. Definitely lives up to its name! I love the idea of this red for the big holiday in Asia! Sure, it might be a marketing strategy (which clearly worked on me...) but it is also nice to see that brands recognize this cultural holiday. Definitely will repurchase in a different color once my low buy/no buy is over. This is one of the best matte lipsticks out there.
