Is Ice Rolling the solution for inflamed acne?
Hi everyone!! I’ve been trying out my new ice roller for the last few days to help with some inflamed acne. Because the cold is able to constrict blood vessels and smooth inflammation, this “ice” roller claims to speed up healing, reduce puffiness and give you brighter tighter skin. So far I’m loving it! It is too early to tell if it is truly helping my acne (I think it is purely based off science) but it’s worth a purchase just for the relaxation benefits. 🌿💆🏽♀️ Pop it in the freezer for 15 minutes and then give yourself a face massage and you can definitely see a reduction in puffiness straight away. I’m going to keep using it every morning and hopefully I’ll have some great results to report back! /kit·sch/ - Ice Roller

Boxy Charm Skincare Review!!! 💄💋🧖🏽♀️
Hey y’all!!! So these are recent items I’ve received in this month and last months boxy charms. First, I cleansed my face with my daily face wash. Then I used the OLE HENRIKSEN - PHAT Glow Facial Mask It’s meant to tighten wrinkles and reduce pores. It smells really good and didn’t irritate my skin at all. However I did notice some dryness on my forehead and cheeks which is where I usually get dry spots so it received 3 stars for me. I’ll be trying it again just to see what comes of it. Next I used EMMA HARDIE - Brilliance Facial Oil which is a facial oil that can be used day and night that’s supposed to give a natural glow and soothe and purify the skin, along with the /kit·sch/ - Ice Roller . (I place the ice roller in my freezer and clean in between uses) I massaged the oil in my skin then pressed the ice roller gently from chin to cheek up and down for a few minutes, then held it under my eyes to help reduce puffiness and darkness. I really love both of these products I’ve been using the facial oil only at night because I sweat too much during the day but it gives me amazing moisturized skin in the morning I truly love it and the ice roller is really soothing to my skin and helps distribute the product all over my face. Lastly I used FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry under my eyes and while it does have a nice smell it does seem a little thick to put under my eyes during the day so I may just use it at night as well and stick to my daily under eye cream for the mornings.
Clarisonic Mia and the Acne Cleansing Brush!
Product: Mia Prima Facial Cleansing & Pore Minimizing Skincare Device AND Acne Facial Cleansing Brush Head Price: Device ($99) and Brush ($27) Product Claims: Based on a 4-week consumer study: 100% of women noticed cleaner skin. Product Target Concerns: A brush head designed for acne-prone or problematic skin, with extra-plush bristle gradation that glides to gently massage skin of impurities. Texture/Consistency: Hopefully, you can tell by the picture but it’s fairly rough with some texturing to help clean out your pores but nothing to rough to bother your skin. My Thoughts on the Product: I got this while I was pregnant and my hormones changed so I was breaking out (you can tell it’s a little on the older side). If you don’t understand how the product works then it is annoying as you can break out more at first as it brings all the oils to the top of your skin but after about 2 weeks of use I was finally clearing up! I continued to use it through the rest of my pregnancy and quit just after a few weeks of having my daughter as I noticed my skin going back to normal (dryer so it was then too rough on my skin. It’s very important to use the right brush head I realized). Recommend to Others?: It is expensive, for those of you needing it for a very specific reason then I would say yes. But if overall your skin work well to cleaners and moisturizers then no it would not be worth it or needed. I did 4 stars due to the pricing on it but 5 for the brush head because I do know it helped with my acne. clarisonic - Acne Cleansing Brush Head clarisonic - Mia Prima Facial Cleansing & Pore Minimizing Skincare Device

clarisonic - Mia Smart 3-in-1 Connected Beauty Device I first got my Clarisonic in January from Ulta when they were having a 25% or 30% off Clarisonic sale, plus I redeemed points for it, so paid less than $5 for it. I was super excited since I had been wanting one forever. This products’ function is to prevent blemishes, exfoliating, anti-aging, skin firming, reduces under eye puffiness, and even can apply foundation (depending on the brush head you use). The target concerns of the Clarisonic are cleansing and anti-aging. The texture of the product depends on the brush head you use; the deep pore cleansing brush head is firmer than the sensitive one, while their is one that massages eyes and helps de puff them (so a cooling feeling). I decided to try this product because it claims to clean better than your regular hands (deep cleaning) and can be anti-aging. I used it for about a month or two every night to cleanse my face. I started breaking out on the sides of my cheeks and face way worse than I had ever previously broken out. I had not changed anything in my routine besides this product. My acne got so bad, it made me super embarrassed and horrible. I read about this tool and learned that a lot of people had used it and experienced the same issues. Apparently, it can cause tears in your skin and cause breakouts. I stopped using it for months and my acne finally has recently recovered and have started using it again, but only once a week. I think it is a good product for exfoliating once a week or so, depending on skin type, but in no way should be used everyday (like they advertise). I have noticed my skin is more glowy and bumps have cleared. At first, I didn’t like this product at all cause it made me break out, but once I found a routine that worked with my skin, I really enjoy it! I would recommend this product on sale (don’t think it’s worth the almost $200 price tag) since it is a nice treat to your skin for a deeper clean and the eye massager and skin awakening head can be so relaxing! The product is worth the little extra time because you can customize your routine you want (based on if you wear sunscreen or what type of cleaning you want) and beep at you when it’s time to move onto the next area of your face. There is minimal effort in this product since all you have to do is move the brush around! Price: $169 Rating: 3/5

ZAP YOUR WAY TO PERFECT SKIN & LONG HAIR✨
Product: Pure daily care - NuDerma Skin Therapy Wand $47 (adjustable frequencies and 4 different wands) What it does? “Improves blood flow by oxygenating the skin. Reduces fine lines over time”. Also an “effective and natural acne treatment” claiming to reduce acne healing time by 90%. Why I bought it? I bought this product to improve the quality of my skin. I was seeing an esthetician and she used this machine on my face. I figured I would get one to use at home. How I use it? For my face: I use over my morning/night moisturizers etc. and tap the wand all over. I started off at a low frequency rate and with continued use you will be able to tolerate a higher frequency. For my hair: I brush the comb through my hair focusing the wand at the scalp. I use this product weekly on my hair. Impressions? For my face: I noticed after using this wand with no face creams it would leave splotchy red patches on my face. When I started to apply my moisturizers etc. my face tolerated the product better. As for helping with my acne/scarring the product did little to help. I think this is because different colored lights are used for different skin concerns. The light my esthetician uses is blue and this light is red. For my hair, I believe this product helped with growth. It promotes blood circulation allowing my strands to become strong and healthy and to grow to a maximum length. Do I recommend? I would definitely recommend this product for hair use. For face/skin use I would recommend looking into the different color/frequency wands before purchasing so you can best treat your skin concerns. #CheriePartner Song: Longing by Joakim Karud

CONAIR - True Glow Silicone Facial Brush so I bought this in November because I had been wanting to buy a vibrating silicone facial brush but wasn’t sure about paying $100 for one. I love this thing! It has two speeds a slower and faster speed it does recommend if you have sensitive skin or never used one before to use the slow speed. And it has the three different bristles you have the small, the large and the mixed sizes. It has definitely help control my blackheads more then normal facial brushes do. I use it about 2-4 times a week depending on how bad my face has been acting.

I’m actually shocked at how great this mask is!
PROJECT E BEAUTY - Skin Rejuvenation Photon Mask I can’t even believe how great this mask is! I decided to give LED treatment a try after getting some professional facials and having them use the lights on me. I’ve been battling adult acne for the past 10 years. I was always in a cycle of horrible hormonal acne that never fully went away. The only things that even remotely worked, were some harsh acne treatments. But those dried out my skin so much, It wasn’t worth it for the little bit that they worked. Then I tried this face mask. Just WOW! I’ve been using it for 3 weeks and I currently have absolutely no acne. I haven’t tried the other colours much yet, to see how they work. But the blue light for acne is life changing! Im using the mask for 20-30m minutes, 4-5 days a week. I’m planning on maybe only using it 3 days a week now that my acne is gone, just for upkeep. I can’t wait to try the other colours to see how it works for wrinkles and reducing sun spots. I’ve already thrown away hundreds of dollars in products that only worked a little bit because this is the only thing you need, along with a cleanser and moisturizer.
