Now before I get started, your skin is mostly a combination of your genetics, environment and skincare routine, this juice is not a cure all! The juicing craze should not be thought of as a replacement for a healthy routine, and no matter what people say there’s no amount of water or a specific diet that will give you “perfect” skin NOW! Let me tell you about this juice that has a lot of benefits for your overall health and may give you a boost in radiance! ⭐️Carrots- they contain “Beta-carotene” which is protecting you against free radical damage when it is converted to vitamin A in the body. ⭐️Beets- These have a fantastic iron and potassium content which helps to purify the blood. Beet juice also contains vitamins A, C, K, folic acid, magnesium, copper, and zinc and has anti-inflammatory properties. ⭐️Celery- Loaded with Vitamin A and is made of 95% water! It is a great addition to boost hydration, while also having a high sodium content to raise stomach acid levels ->> better digestion ->> better absorption of vital minerals and nutrients. ⭐️ Kale- It is packed with vitamin K and antioxidants which help protect against premature aging (ie fine lines and wrinkles) it is also super anti-inflammatory which is a plus for skin + join health! Since I was a kid I’ve been plagued by genetic neck lines. You know, those rings around the neck that make it look like your neck skin has been folded at the bottom of your drawer for eons. Anyway...I have finally found a system that is working on them! I’ve been using the Herbivore jade de-puffing face roller and the Herbivore lapis blue tansy face oil as part of my routine for the last four months and my neck lines have majorly faded! On top of that, I’ve gotten a nice lil’ glow on from the oil. I was a little hesitant to use oil on my face, as I have combination skin, but a few drops of this twice a day before my SPF or night cream and I am glowing like a firefly. The oil is a little pricey at $72 for 1.7oz, but I’ve been using it four months and I’m only a little more than halfway through. Aside from that the only other drawback is that I’m not in love with the way the oil smells. ACURE - The Essentials Hemp Seed Oil $16, Whole Foods First impressions... I enjoy cannabis products 🍃 so I bought this on a whim. I like the simplicity of the product and I believe that it may aid in calming my skin. It’s decently priced, and smells great! This is the first oil product I’ve ever included in my skin care routine. It has a nice consistency after being warmed between my fingers, and doesn’t feel heavy or tacky on the skin. I find this to be very hydrating and I used it to calm my skin and replenish oils after chemically exfoliating. The smell is very fresh and a little floral because of the rose. Of course, I believe before I can provide a thorough review I need to use this product for a lot more time, but so far, I’m very excited and I have high hopes! What are your experiences with hemp seed oil?
