Spots Be Gone!
Ingredient: Saw palmetto Product: Origins Spot Remover I rarely get pimples and I’m thankful enough that I didn’t suffer from acne when I was a teenaged girl. Although sometimes, especially if it’s that time of the month, I get the occasional hormonal pimple. They aren’t bad though, they come in small and usually go away after a week or so. There are some instances, however, when these small pimples leave a nasty mark on my face. I learned from a friend that I should use a spot corrector when I have these pimples so they won’t leave any mark after. I used to have The Body Shop’s tea tree spot corrector a few years back to treat the exact same issue. I came across this product when I was shopping for the iconic Origins masks. I thought to myself, maybe I’ll throw in this small spot corrector in my cart. And I’m glad I did. I’ve used this twice since I bought it due to the aforementioned occasional pimples. I noticed that my pimple had left my face earlier than the usual duration. It went away after about 2 days; normally, they stay on my face for about a week or sometimes longer depending on the size of the zit. This product is my go-to now when I have the once-a-month zit. Definitely recommend it to anyone experiencing zits too.
My Secret Blackhead Removal Products
Once upon a time, I thought acne was just a phase that would pass as I grew out of adolescence. I was partly right, where large pimples did fade away; however, a new enemy has emerged called the blackhead, and I have been struggling with it to date. I hope to put an end to this, or at least reduce the appearance of blackheads. I turned to two famous blackhead-eliminating products, including The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA and La Roche-Posay Effaclar K(+). So far, I am very impressed with the results. My Skin Condition: I have very oily skin, and as a result, I am more likely to have breakouts and blackheads due to the oil, dirt, and dead skin cells clogging my pores, leaving me with enlarged pores and uneven skin texture. But what are blackheads exactly? They are small, black or dark-colored bumps that appear on your skin from clogged hair follicles. Blackheads are simply whiteheads that have opened and widened. When the contents of a whitehead expose to air, they darken. Fortunately, they are only a mild type of acne. The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% HA The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA The Ordinary Lactic Acid is such a fantastic product, given its affordable price. Essentially, it is a chemical exfoliate, good for hyperpigmentation, oily and congested skin, and fine lines. I felt that it reduced the appearance of blackheads since they form due to clogged pores. My skin looks brighter and feels smoother the next day. Texture: A lightweight and watery serum that spreads well and gets absorbed quickly, and is very slightly sticky. Scent: It is not too overwhelming nor unpleasantly artificial. Good to know: I only apply this product at night and would use a generous amount of sunscreen in the morning because it contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which can make the skin more prone to sunburn. La Roche-Posay Effaclar K(+) #LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar K(+) Anti-Blackhead Moisturiser[products]# The Effaclar K(+) is a well known anti-blackhead moisturizer in the skincare community, and I can confirm that it lives up to its fame. Only after one application, my skin already feels detoxified and purified like a fresh skin feeling that lasts all day long. I have been using this product for weeks now, and I noticed that my skin texture is smoother and that pores are unclogging, which reduces blackheads. Texture: Light, watery that absorbs instantly into the skin and mattifies the skin. Ingredients: Includes carnosine that protects skin by reducing oxidation, air licium that mattifies the skin by absorbing 150 times its volume in sebum, and LHA and Salicylic Acid, which micro-exfoliates the skin’s surface and unclogs pores.

Affordable Night Routine for Oily Skin
Here is my night routine! It is pretty similar to my morning routine(sorry about the cluster of products in the picture i tried my best to tag all the products). This a pretty affordable night routine for someone who used to deal with a lot of hormonal acne. Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser Just like my morning routine, I use the Cetaphil cleanser. Sometimes i will use a bit more at night depending on if i wear makeup or not. Also i forgot to take a picture but to take off my makeup I use the GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover on a cotton pad. I try to stay away from makeup wipes and micellar water is super gentle! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Again, just like my morning routine I use 2 drops of this after cleansing. I seriously recommend this product it’s cheap and very effective! Also make sure not to touch the dropper to your face! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution So I am sure most people have heard of this amazing product. This is my 5th week using it and I can definitely see a difference in my skin! I use it once a week every Friday night. I skip the niacinamide because apparently it’s not good to mix these 2 in the same night/morning. I’m not sure if that’s backed up but just in case I skip this step every Friday night. I put 2 drops onto my fingers and gently spread it across my face. I make sure to avoid the eye area. Leave it on for 10 minutes and no longer. My scars have started to disappear and my skin feels incredible afterwards. I do also use a prescribed acne medication after this step just like my morning routine. I obviously can’t tag it but if you are struggling with acne and are able to, consider seeing a dermatologist! CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This is by far my all-time favorite moisturizer! I use the ultra-lightweight one that’s oil-free. It doesn’t feel super heavy but makes me skin feel very hydrated and soft. I have never used any other night moisturizer because I know I will always come back to this one. ESTĒE LAUDER - DayWear Eye Cooling Anti-Oxidant Moisture GelCreme I then do eye cream. I’m not super picky when it comes to eye creams as long as they are not heavy. This product is kinda random when I got it but it definitely makes my eyes feel hydrated which is all I care about. Briogeo - B. Well Organic + Cold-Pressed 100% Castor Oil I cant say enough good things about this product. I started using it about a year ago on my eyelashes and eyebrows. I use a clean spoolie and my eyelashes have grown so long. I naturally have thick eyebrows but i will kinda run the excess on them. I still have my 1st bottle and I am surprised I haven’t run out yet since I use this every night. Any castor oil works but this one comes in a bottle!
