Dupe alert of TATCHA 🚓 e.l.f. 💕$8 vs. 54$
Hi Cherie sisters 👯♀️ 💗 I want to share my recent fav product: e.l.f. poreless putty primer. I can tell that I’m a huge fan of TATCHA. The silk canva primer was by far the best primers I’ve found on the market (until I found e.l.f.). But I have continued my hunt to test out some more possible dupes with lower price. While scrolling through Cherie, I saw a post about e.l.f. poreless putty primer could be the dupe alert of TATCHA. I recently picked this up from Target and I can tell it is a dupe through component type, color, texture - everything and only $8.00 !!!! Cheap and great quality products. When I open it, it smells a bit chemically. I love the texture: feels like a mix of solid coconut oil and butter (close to a balm but not greasy) . It wasn’t stick or oily for me personally, and I felt it was a little less thick than the TATCHA !!!! It really does make for a flawless look since it is soooo smoothing and completely poreless just like it states. It definitely feels like silk when you touch it as TATCHA does. I'm dry skin type, and this is best for me since is def not dry when I use it, and it's not necessarily hydrating. I love TATCHA, but it was kind of pricey and didn’t last me that long. e.l.f. primer is the best dupe alert of TATCHA silk canva for students who can’t always afford to buy overly expensive makeup (just like me). Lower price with same quality. Gorgeous product!! Tips: I like to use finger to apply primer all over my face. The warmth from fingers will help better break the product down for easier application than brush.

I had so much fun with this look because it was a colour combo I wouldn’t usually wear and I got a chance to try out my new Laura Mercier limited edition red Christmas lipstick since it was the perfect shade for Snow White! The Rouge Essentiel lipstick is incredible, it probably has the most beautiful texture of any lipstick I own and is SO nice to wear. 🍎 FACE 🍎 e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer URBAN DECAY - Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer HOLIKA HOLIKA - Jelly Dough Blusher #Too Faced - Candlelight Glow Highlighter[products]# laura mercier - Set to Perfect Translucent Loose Setting Powder & Puff Set 🍎 EYES & BROWS 🍎 ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade URBAN DECAY - Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion #BYS - Festival Eyeshadow Palette[products]# SUVA BEAUTY - Grease (Matte) Hydra Liner Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara MORPHE - MORPHE Lashes(Calabasas) 🍎 LIPS 🍎 MAC - MAC Lip Pencil (Cherry) laura mercier - Rouge Essentiel Silky Crème Lipstick(Red Wish)

My fav drug store product of 2020 for only $8!
Guys, I seriously can’t tell you how much I am in love with this primer! I’ve previously used Lancôme, Smashbox, Urban Decay and CoverFX primers which are all significantly more expensive than the US$8 / AU$16 for the e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer This product is legit amazing! It has the most soft silky texture on the skin, fills your pores but doesn’t cause congestion or breakouts and makes my makeup look flawless! It’s a pale pink in the packaging but once it’s smooths into the skin completely disappears. There is no strong smell or fragrances so is completely pleasant to use. It’s considered by many beauty bloggers to be a dupe for the TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primerwhich I haven’t tried but at US$52 / AU$83 is roughly between 5-7 times more expensive depending on where you live! If you’re in the market for a primer which not only feels lovely on your skin but makes your pores appear smooth and your makeup flawless then I highly recommend you give the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer a go 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Perfect Primer (for all skin types) 💜🦄
I feel like primer is the most underrated step of the makeup routine! Many people will blame their foundation, powder, or setting spray for their makeup not lasting.. when it's really your primer or lack-of to blame! 😲 You wouldn't paint a wall without using a primer, so why would you not prime something even more precious before applying your products? The TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer is one of the best primers I have ever used! You only need a pea sized amount of this primer to cover your whole face, meaning that this product is worth the extra coin you have to spend on it 💸 By helping to fill your pores and give you an aribrushed look 🤩 There have been a few days I've skipped foundation cause this primer alone makes my skin look so good! Will I repurchase - Totally! This primer is great and you can use any high- or low-end foundation and have amazing rests!
Good primer, low cost
Skin type: combination, acne prone. The product: skin perfecting infused with squalane to help grip makeup for all day wear and help protect skin for moisture loss. Texture: velvety. Experience: I loved the texture, it leaves the skin hydrated and soft, my makeup lasts more time and definitely improves the appearance of the pores. I rarely wear makeup and when I used this primer I really liked the results. 👍🏻👎🏻: like. Price: $8 e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer

I’d rather get coal than Elf Poreless Putty
I’d rather get coal than Elf Poreless Putty Primer This primer is supposedly a skin perfecting putty primer infused with Squalane to help grip makeup for an all day long wear. It has a velvety texture that helps this primer glide over the skin. I was so excited to try this primer after watching Jeffree Star’s review on YouTube. Sadly, when I used this primer it left my skin so oily and greasy, my makeup just slipped off my face! This primer made my face break out as well! (I have normal combination skin) I would NOT recommend this to anyone! If you’re curious you can spend the $8 but I wouldn’t waste the money! I give this a 0 out of 5 stars. e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer

TESTING PRODUCT DUPE | Tatcha vs. Catrice
CATRICE COSMETICS - Prime And Fine Smoothing Refiner TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer I saw this dupe being talked about online so I put it to the test! For reference, I have oily skin type. I had the Catrice primer before I tried the Tatcha one and I thought it was pretty good! This one has silicone in it so it definitely has that slippery feel. The texture is more of a powdery finish once it is set into the skin. It had some blurring effect on the skin but it wasn’t as pore filling as other primers I have tried. This made my skin soft and set a good base for foundation. I couldn’t really tell if this extended the wear of my makeup throughout the day. On the plus side, this is an oil free primer. The price is also great at $7.99 for a really great amount of product. I tried out the mini Tatcha primer after hearing such rave reviews. I’ve used this for a few months now and I can say that I really love it! I adore that this is a silicone free formula yet still adds a blurring effect. It’s not as pore filling as I expected but it still gives a nice finish. It feels like a quality skincare product once it has set into the skin. I personally like to let this settle for a few minutes before going in with foundation. I do see a difference in the wear time of my makeup with this! I still get oily throughout the day but that is manageable for me. The only thing stopping me from loving the Tatcha one is the price! The mini is $22 and full size is $52. I definitely like it a bit more than the Catrice primer but they are very comparable if you are looking for a cheaper alternative
CATRICE COSMETICS-Prime And Fine Smoothing Refiner
Can a drugstore product ever truly be a dupe for a luxury product? Is there something inherently better in expensive primers? . I've seen this Elf cosmetics Poreless Putty Primer ($8) compared to the Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer ($52) all over the place. The comparisons and price difference have certainly caught my eye. So, what's my verdict? . After using the e.l.f primer, I can say it's almost there as a good stand in. It goes on smooth, my makeup withstood an 8-hr retail shift, and didn't cause any breakouts. BUT - the overall texture of the Silk Canvas is smoother, smells nice, and has great staying power. . If you want a luxury experience, Tatcha won't steer you wrong. If you're looking for a great primer, regardless of the application experience, then e.l.f is a fantastic almost-dupe

e.l.f Cosmetics - Primer
Initially, I bought this e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer because I saw Jeffree Star’s glowing review and to be honest he was spot on! This primer is amazing! I usually buy primers in tubes, so using this one was tricky in the beginning. I saw that a similar primer is applied with a small dime shaped item, so my brilliant idea was to use a sanitized coin😅! It works y’all - don’t hate til you see how it works for you hahaha! I always use primer because I wear makeup at least six days a week and I have oily combo skin so I need to have a good primer pre foundation! This primer applies easily with my coin 😉 and then I smooth it out on my face. I always wait a few minutes to let it settle in before foundation but I do this with all of my primers. It’s a soft creamy primer that smoothes over the pore and minimize their appearance when wearing alone or with foundation! Online it states you can apply with fingers too - since that warmth of your fingers will help with a better application! Overall, I need to blot my face throughout the day but I do see my foundation lasting anywhere from 6-8 hours when wearing this primer. I bought this in August when it was finally back in stock at Ulta’s and been using this or one of my other primers interchangeably. For $8.00, you cannot find a better deal since each jar comes with 0.74 oz of product. I like it because the price makes it affordable for all beauty lovers and because it is effective! However, I did wish they would come with an application tool like Tatcha does. If you are in need of a new primer or want to try it out, go ahead and get yourself this primer because it is a steal!

Too Faced - Replenishing Face Primer
This Too Faced - Hangover Primer is my go to primer when my face needs some major hydration. Even though I have oily combo skin, I do suffer from dry spots especially during the cold winter months in the east coast. This primer contains coconut water that revived the skin, which is perfect for those days I’m suffering from dry skin. It does not happen often to me but when it does and I need to wear makeup, this is the face primer I reach for on my vanity. After you apply this primer and let it settle, you fee your skin taking in the hydration and coming back to life. It’s a white semi thick consistency with a light lovely scent. I typically tend to get matte primers but like I said I needed one that would hydrate my face hence why I decided to purchase this primer. This primer retails for $34.00 at Sephora and comes with 1.35oz of product. I love it because it is 100% hydrating and settles good with my matte foundation and setting powder. A little goes a long way with this product so be mindful when using it. I think it is worth it since I do not use that much product and my pump is still more than half way filled. I think this product would be even better on those with dry skin and need an extra boost of hydration. If you buy it, let me know what you think! ✨
