Say Goodbye to Hair Dye: How to Get Rid of Gray Hair Naturally
Once you reach a certain age, your follicles start producing less melanin, the pigment that gives your hair its natural color. As a result, your hair starts turning white, gray, or silver. While this process usually doesn’t begin before the age of 35, however, many people notice the first signs of graying in their early twenties because of genetics or some health conditions. Unfortunately, I am one of them suffering from prematuring grey. I'd like to share some experience with someone has the same hair concern. While searching for ways how to get rid of gray hair and restore natural hair color, we are worried about the damage caused to hair. The good news is, you may be able to restore your hair’s original color through supplementation, but only in the early stages of graying. To try and reverse the graying of the hair, you should increase your intake of foods that are rich in the following five nutrients - folic acid, vitamin B12, biotin, iron and copper. Except for the food supplementation, you can also combine a nutrient-rich diet with one of the following home remedies for graying hair. COCONUT OIL AND CURRY LEAVES （Pic 2） Simply mix a cup of unrefined coconut oil with a 1/4 cup of curry leaves and heat until you see black residue forming. Let it cool, apply to your scalp, and leave it in for an hour. Repeat twice a week. Please Note： Before you decide to change your diet or start using the remedy, make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients they contain. If necessary, consult with your doctor first. ACV for hair loss
3 years ago I started losing hair most likely due to stress. Every time I brushed may hair with a brush or with my hair and when I washed my hair which I did almost everyday because I have oily hair, clumps of it would fall out. My ponytail went from a nickel size thickness to a less than dime size thickness. I was losing hair all over my scalp. Occasionally my scalp would get so itchy right after a wash but there wasn’t dandruffs. I tried Rogaine - 5% Minoxidil Foam for Hair Regrowth for months straight and I would get an increase of hair loss and white hairs which I never had prior to using it. I even use egg masks and coconut oil masks which I have used prior to my hair loss. I even took NATURE'S BOUNTY - Optimal Solutions Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies religiously. None had slowed down my hair loss nor promoted hair growth. I came upon a post one day on a google search about how this person used an BRAGG - Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with mother hair mask for their hair loss. Because I do already drink a ACV drink daily I decided to try it in my hair. I used it consistently for 2 months every other day now. I have seen so many baby hair sticking out of my head. And yes I look crazy but I’m so happy to share with you that it works for me so it could work for you as well. I diluted my ACV in a 2 ACV to 1 water ratio. I just used tap water. I poured a little bit into my scalp and massaged it in for about 30 seconds and left it in my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes, rinsed my hair, then shampooed my hair regularly. I found massaging to wet and dry hair doesn’t make much difference. There will be residual ACV smell when your hair is wet but after it dries the smell does away. ACV also balances the pH of you hair so lately I have been able to maintain my hair to a second day without it looking extra greasy. Today, my pony tail thickened up a little and I can’t wait to see more hair growth. I hope this post helps. Don’t forget to spot test the solution in case your skin is sensitive to ACV.
