Don’t Know How to Choose Maybelline Concealer?
Don’t Know How to Choose Maybelline Concealer? Here Is the Review for You! Hey my gals, you must have seen these two concealers from Maybelline in every drugstore orsupermarket. We love it because of many reasons! You know, I'm an acne prone skin. I swear you cannot imagine what my pimples, blackheads andacnes I'm enduring. I hope every beauty would leave far away from this annoying problem. As a student who doesn't want to spend much time browsing the Internet to find a good concealer. I choose to just walk into a drugstore and pick two concealers from our common knowing Maybelline brand. I have to tell you that these two concealers are different in many aspects. (But both of them are affordable! ） Maybelline Fit Me Concealer This is the thin one. As you can see, it is medium to high coverage. I used an eyeliner to test it's coverage. It claims to oil-free concealers conceal redness, flaws, and blemishes. And it's an non-comedogenic concealer. Fragrance-free. I'm the best person to say it never caused me any more breakouts which surprised me a lot. But it's not so hydrated as it claims. I will not us it under my eyes. It's too dry which will lead to clumpy. Maybelline Eraser This is the big one with a sponge applicator. I like it, it's not dry, not pricy of course and easy to use. But I have to notice you that the applicator is easy to become dirty. This concealer is light coverage. It can be used as foundation with suitable shade. And it do really have various shades. I cannot live without this concealer because i tend to get dry patches in this season. This eraser clams my dry patches and give me appropriate coverage.
SarahAngelaI prefer the fit me because it gives me a luminous look, sometimes when I want to skip foundation, I’ll just use this concealer. I get more of a light-medium coverage with this ( i have really dark circles). However , I do notice it is slightly drying. Not as bad as the elf camp concealer though

1st attempt at the foxy 👁 w drugstore products!
Just coz its spring in Australia doesn’t mean we ain’t allowed to rock the Autumn look 🎃 I was one of those girls who wouldn’t spare the minute to do eye make up until the covid szn (coz glam lashes were already on and that was enough for me!) Yes, i used to get my eyelashes extensions done every month! Crazy!). And knowing its not safe enough for me to get my lashes done, i figured id need some alternative ways to make my eyes pop more to balance the make up look. And whoopsies, i decided to finally learn properly (thanks to the internet) to do eye make up. And this was my first attempt at the foxy eye trend. Still need a lot to learn from you guys and im so here for it! warm hugs, ugggliz

How to look good for a Zoom call 🗣
It’s all about the lighting ladies and gents! You neeeeeed to manipulate the lighting in your surroundings AND on your face. How? Highlight, brightening, and contour. For under eyes use a brightening color corrector that reflects light. I use BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector and it works really well to help out my dark circles. It brightens with the peachy tone and has a sight shimmer to reflect light. Really great product! I also use MAYBELLINE - Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer which is such an affordable and great product. Can crease sometimes so less is more! It really helps conceal and hydrate my under eyes. Lastly I use the tarte - Park Ave Princess Waterproof Face & Body Bronzer (the palette version) to contour and accentuate my features. A great tip is to place the contour HIGH on the cheekbones for a lifted look. Add some yellow highlight powder under your eyes and some highlighter on the top of your cheekbone. 💋🤍 #cheriepartner
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer ✨REVIEW✨
I have been using tarte shape tape for years, and loved it! The only problem for me was the price point. It retails for $27, and sometimes I don’t feel like spending that much. I did some research, and came across this concealer by Maybelline. It claims to be a “full coverage under-eye concealer.” It was only $8 so I picked it up. After using a high end concealer for years, I expected this concealer to not work that great in comparison. I have combination skin, a small amount of acne, and regular sized dark circles. And this product really went above and beyond! My face is naturally red/pink, and this evened out my skin tone completely! I haven’t broken out from it either. It is easy application, blends well, and looks flawless, wether I have foundation on under it or not. I would not consider it full coverage, however it is very buildable and easy to achieve full coverage if desired. I know everyone’s skin is different, so this product may not work the same way it did for me. However, if you love Shape Tape, then you’ll find this is a great dupe!✨
elf camo concealer (matte)
e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer This is the MATTE camo concealer (not the new hydrating one, which has a white cap). I have fair skin but I also have rosacea which means I need to color match to my neck and chest instead of my face. Claims: - full coverage - 16 hour wear - large doe foot - won’t settle into lines My thoughts: - much more coverage than I was expecting! I can cover 100% of my deep redness with this (esp on my nose!) without looking cakey or gross. - color is perfect perfect perfect for my skin! - lasts sooo long without reapplying. I have never owned a full coverage long lasting formula like this. - the doe foot is huge and I have to apply with my finger instead or I’ll get too much product in one area. - honestly might be a too matte for me? I’m thinking about picking up the hydrating one next to compare -$6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's BB Cream Season!
Let's be honest... nobody wants to wear full coverage out in the sun when it's 90 degrees! Especially if you have oily skin, wearing a heavy foundation can feel gross and look gross. This BB cream from covergirl has six shades (mine is shade light/medium) and definitely has decent coverage while feeling lightweight and leaving the skin flawless! By the way, tip-apply bb cream with a brush not a sponge. It's not supposed to be full coverage. Some perks it has is that it's: -Oil Free -Won't clog pores -Suitable for sensitive skin -Lasts all day I've tested this product out on several occasions and all though it looks fabulous, sometimes I find it hard to blend because of streaks and it also causes my skin to breakout. Although this product claims to be suitable for sensitive skin, it didn't seem to work out. This Bb creme also doesn't contain any SPF but makes up for it with its cheap price of only $10.00 Drop your BB creme recommendations down below!!!💕💕

One of the most underrated foundations!
A while back, my face was going through a purging face, I was not sure what the cause was - could have been diet or a product I wasn’t aware of. I was super self-conscious and I would not leave the house without any make up on. After reading a lot of reviews online on the many foundations out there I decided to give this Clinique foundation a try! And I’m so glad I did 🤭🤩 This foundation claims that overtime it will make your skin better, which was the original reason why I wanted to try this foundation. This foundation is super hydrating, evens out your skin tone, and it’s lightweight! It is so skin like, it doesn’t look like you have any base makeup on. It did not irritate my acne or skin at all, which was what surprised me the most! I definitely think this foundation is worth the try, and in my opinion I think this foundation is very underrated. If you have sensitive skin or dealing with troubled skin, definitely check this foundation out, you won’t be disappointed. It is also not super expensive either. All you need is about a pea size amount, it spreads out evenly and I think this foundation will last me a while! 🤩🤩 It is a 5-star product for me! I can’t live without a liquid highlighter ✨
Seriously, I don’t know if it’s because my skin on my cheekbones tends to get so dry or what, but I much prefer to use a liquid highlighter than a powder one. Highlighter is one of those products that just brings me to LIFE! This liquid highlighter from Becca BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter is my go-to for ANY makeup look since it doesn’t leave any weird residue on my skin, doesn’t break me out, and is light enough that it doesn’t leave any weird off-coloration on my skin tone. I use the shade opal! It’s kind of hard to tell in my before and after pic but this highlighter just breathes SO MUCH LIFE into my makeup looks. It adds such a natural, lit-from-within glow that isn’t too glittery or shimmery, it’s more dewy than anything but it dries down! I apply it with my ring fingers on the tops of my cheekbones into my cheeks, along the bridge of my nose, and on my Cupid’s bow. It’s subtle yet makes me look like a functioning human being!! You only need a super small amount to get a good glow going. I don’t set mine with powder since my skin is so dry. You can get a travel size of this at Sephora right now for $10 which is awesome! I have had my mini for almost a year and it’s still chugging. I would recommend swatching in store to see which shade is right for you, but if you’re pale like me (Fair/light) champagne would be the way to go—it’s not too warm or too cool toned! I have to rate this 5/5 stars!!

Can a drugstore product ever truly be a dupe for a luxury product? Is there something inherently better in expensive primers? . I've seen this Elf cosmetics Poreless Putty Primer ($8) compared to the Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer ($52) all over the place. The comparisons and price difference have certainly caught my eye. So, what's my verdict? . After using the e.l.f primer, I can say it's almost there as a good stand in. It goes on smooth, my makeup withstood an 8-hr retail shift, and didn't cause any breakouts. BUT - the overall texture of the Silk Canvas is smoother, smells nice, and has great staying power. . If you want a luxury experience, Tatcha won't steer you wrong. If you're looking for a great primer, regardless of the application experience, then e.l.f is a fantastic almost-dupe

Covergirl Skin Milk Foundation
COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation I know a lot of people got this for PR but I bought this with my own money because I saw it came out and I’ve been using other versions of covergirl foundation for literally years. This is a very very very dewy foundation so I would not recommend for oily skin unless you’re into looking extremely dewy. For my dry skin, it feels so thin and non drying, while giving a totally naturally dewy finish. I personally really enjoy how natural it looks. It doesn’t build at all so if you want heavy coverage this is not it. Best suited for a casual type look. Once again, this didn’t break me out (but CG has never done me wrong here so I was feeling pretty confident). I didn’t notice any smell when I used it so I don’t think they’ve used fragrance in this which I like. Biggest downside is that it does have a tendency to rub off at the slightest touch and as a result doesn’t last that long once it’s on. I’d give it a decent few hours but it is not a longwear foundation by any means. Would I recommend? Yes if you’re looking for a super affordable, easy to pick up, dewy finish foundation. Would recommend for acne prone, dry skin like mine for sure.
