Milk Makeup - The Best New Skin-Care Products Launching Now
Milk Makeup has been around since 2016, but Milk Makeup Skincare is an addition to this hot brand. The best fragrance-free totally vegan range that is as good as they say it is. A few months ago Milk Makeup launched the Vegan Milk Moisturizer and after the success of the moisturizer, they have also developed the Vegan Milk Cleanser, both are on the thicker side, great for dry or normal skin or sensitive skin types. I checked out the ingredients, its made with fig milk, which is an antioxidant, shea butter that refreshes, softens and soothes sore skin, oat milk for a calming effect on the skin. That’s not all, argan milk, grapeseed oil, and olive-derived squalane seal in moisture and help provide antioxidant protection. So after cleansing, use a teaspoon (unusual I know) put half a teaspoon of cream on the back of the spoon, smooth side, and work it into your face in a circular motion. The cream glides on and the fact you’ve used a spoon means the cream activates quicker and works fast to plumping up the skin - added bonus and trick I learned from a makeup artist at Sephora. Milk Makeup never includes parabens, sulfates, or mineral oil in its products, the brand believes and promotes what it calls “Clean Beauty” - this means they use alternative and inventive ingredients that are not toxic to us and the environment. So cool. There’s no doubt this is an amazing brand and a great moisturizer but the real reason I love this brand is because of the ethics the company promotes - they believe in good ingredients produced through a culture of cruelty-free and fairtrade, this is a fantastic payoff. With very unique and on-trend packaging, they encourage personal style and experimentation as self-expression, I found them initially on Instagram through the #LiveYourLook - Milk Makeup are now considered a cult beauty brand and all this in an amazingly short time. My girlfriends all use this brand and they all love it. The moisturizer has five stars on all the sites and you can buy it for $21.00 at Sephora.com - take my advice, and you can thank me later!

I Like To Keep It On A High Note
First of, the title is by Kendrick Lamar. I post mostly makeup looks but I thought I would post my daily skincare. I don’t buy fragranced products and I do my best to buy vegan products. I have struggled to find a water-based cleanser but I finally found one! About my skin: My skin is normal-dry and has seen at least thirty 4th of Julys. It is incredibly reactive. Enough talk. Onto the products. CAUDALIE - Make-Up Removing Cleansing Oil A Holy Grail product. It has a faint scent that it took me a little while to get used to but I love this product. Balms always seemed so messy to me and I hated using them but this is relaxing. It is like getting a mini-face message if mini face messages also removed three coats of Pat McGrath Dark Star mascara. If you are looking to start double cleansing? Start here. I will just take a 15% commission. PEACH & LILY - Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser I only started using this last week but it is the perfect double cleanse companion: not too strong and not too moisturizing and goopy. It has a faint stone fruit smell that actually smells like stone fruit and not some chemical additive. There is not aloe vera, no HA, and the price is really great and it’s vegan! acwell - Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing TonerI just ordered this toner on the advice of sokoglam. I tried klairs toner and my skin started itching so badly. I got my money back and I am hoping this is a better experience. If not, off to Ulta I shall go! KINSHIP - Pimple Potion Retinal + Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment I took a picture of my chin and the kind people of Cherie did not make fun of me. They told me I had milia. There aren’t a lot of vegan salicylic acid treatments but kinship is one. It has gotten most of the smaller milia out (although now I have these weird large chin pores. Like seriously huge OMG). I am being patient while it works on the slightly bigger ones. Thank you, Cherie! Krave - Barrier Relief My skin was a hot mess and this product saved me. I think this is my last bottle but if your skin barrier has established barricades and is throwing bricks? This is a great product! Plus it’s vegan! ETUDE HOUSE - Soonjung Hydro Barrier Cream My AM moisturizer. Slow to absorb but when the weather is cold it will be so moisturizing! Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer PM moisturizer! Slightly tingly but really moisturizing. Do I need to say it is vegan? dear, klairs - Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter My eternal love. Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen Terrible company; only sunscreen that doesn’t break me out. JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter Vanilla Apricot I have it in unscented. Great for hands. Sustainably harvested by women paid a living wage. Do you use any of these products?
⚡️ The BEST Moisturizer for ALL Skin Types ⚡️
#cheriecreator #ad #cheriepartner One of the best moisturizers I have ever tried! Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer Hey guys! I hope you’re having a lovely day. Ever since Milk Makeup announced that they were releasing a moisturizer, I instantly knew I had to try it out! Milk Makeup always astonishes me.. from their beautiful packaging to the way their products are formulated. Here is a little background information about myself. I have oily and acne prone skin. I use this moisturizer every morning after I wash my face and sometimes at night. Now, let’s get into more details about the moisturizer and my thoughts! ⚡️WHAT IS IT? A rich, thick, creamy moisturizer ideally recommended for those with dull, sensitive and dry skin. Even though I have oily skin, it works wonders for me as well. It keeps my skin glowing throughout the day without the greasiness feeling. ⚡️WHAT DOES IT DO? For me, this moisturizer really helps keep my skin feeling hydrated and rejuvenated. Although I have oily skin, my face tends to feel dry after I wash my face so applying this afterwards is the icing on the cake. I also believe it has cleared my skin. This moisturizer has glycerin, which helps reduce acne and doesn’t clog your pores. ⚡️HOW DOES IT WORK? This contains a variety of vegan milks such as fig, oat, argan and desert milk. Fig milk helps soften and soothe the skin, oat milk calms the skin, argan milk helps maintain the moisturize throughout the day and desert milk keeps the face feeling hydrated. All of these rich ingredients help keep your face feeling healthy and hydrated throughout the day. ⚡️IS IT WORTH IT? Yes, I honestly think it’s worth it. I would recommend this product to any person who is looking for a rich hydrating moisturizer. This product is on the pricier side but a little bit of product goes a long way. I’ve been using mine for a couple months now. ⚡️ANY ISSUES? I haven’t had any issues with this product!
🌵 Not For My Face
I have combination skin aka oily t-zone that’s fairly sensitive. I found this moisturizer on sale at Costco for $9.97, and I paid too much. I was really looking forward to trying this, however I wasn’t impressed at all. It had the consistency and feel of aloe, but it left my skin incredibly tacky to the touch. And despite it’s cold feel out of the jar it warms my face something terrible. So while it probably did hydrate my skin the cons just don’t make it worth it. I’m not a fan, and nope I sure won’t be repurchasing this.

Delicious marshmallow gel cream
Today, I’ll be sharing a review of the lovely KINSHIP - Supermello Hydrating Gel-Cream Moisturizer . Their gel cream contains key ingredients like aloe, mango seed butter, coconut oil, coconut water, lactobacillus ferment, cacao seed butter, sunflower seed oil, sodium pca, marshmallow root, and a few botanical extracts to help cool and nourish the skin while also reducing any appearance of redness. This has a soft and fluffy lightweight gel cream texture that almost resembles marshmallow fluff. It has a cooling sensation upon application to help calm and soothe while also hydrating the skin. It surprisingly absorbs pretty quick, and dries down to a dewy finish that isn’t too greasy feeling. Even though this has quite a lot of emollient ingredients, it still manages to be lightweight and not suffocating on the skin. I enjoyed using this during the daytime and would sometimes layered it right underneath their self reflect sunscreen if my skin was feeling particularly drier that day. Otherwise, it would be slightly too greasy for my oily skin on normal days. I don’t think this is occlusive enough for night time use as I would usually wake up to it being completely gone. My skin did feel plump and hydrated while using it. I can see myself enjoying this a lot more during the summer months. My only con with it is the fragrance which literally smells like sweet marshmallows with vanilla. But if you enjoy sweet scents then it shouldn’t bother you. Even with the scent, my skin wasn’t irritated by the product nor has it broken out so it’s good for acne prone skin types. Overall, it’s lovely gel cream that almost all skin types can enjoy. It’s probably not the best for winter but most likely perfect for hotter months as it’s lightweight and easily layerable. Have you guys tried this yet? Rating: 3/5 🌟 #CherieCreator #Kinship

Sorry, doesn’t work for me😷
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration My friend recommended this to me so I bought 2 tubes but I don’t think I am going to finish these. Packaging: Just the classic First Aid Beauty design. There’s not much to talk about. It is 56.7g/2.0oz. Smell: It is fragrance free. It smells kinda weird, but not too strong at least. Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Stearic lnt, Glyerin, 12-15 Aly Benzoate, CaprylicCapric Triglyceride, Glycery Stearate SE, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Butyrospermt Parki Butter, Dimethicone, Squalane M Allantoin, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Ceramide 3, Chrysan themum Parthenium Extract, Colloidal O Oatmeal, Disodium EDTA, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Rot M Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol. Feelings: I apply it once a day when I feel like my skin is especially sensitive. A lot of friends told me it helps with allergy or irritation. It doesn’t. It even made my irritated skin more sensitive and red. The biggest problem about it is that it is so thick on my skin. I honestly think my skin can’t “breathe” with it on. I could still scratch it off with my nails hours after I applied it. It just feels so weird like gypsum on my skin. I won’t buy this product again.

Oily-Skin Friendly Water Cream for Autumn/Winter
Why hello Klairs Fundamental Water Gel Cream! Kindly sent to me by Wishtrend. Klairs is a brand that’s been on my radar but for some reason I haven’t tried any of their products until now. I applied to be a #WTBeautyTester for this product when I first laid eyes on the inkey list. It contains some of my favourite ingredients including 67.3% green tea water, panthenol, rice extract, centella, and mugwort. The claims are bang on. This is a lightweight yet nourishing gel cream. It’s easy to layer and absorbs quickly. I love the soft, runny texture - it has a liquid condensed milk consistency and applies like a dream! It’s super easy to spread, absorbs immediately, and sets to a slightly dewy finish with no stickiness. It wears comfortably as a stand alone moisturizer during the day, or applied in a generous layer to become a sleeping mask. I have very oily, acne-prone & sensitive skin due to retinoid use and have a hard time finding the right moisturizer since I can’t use anything with shea butter or rich emollients. I was a little worried the Ethylhexyl Palmitate would be comedogenic, but after a week of use, this did not clog my pores or trigger any breakouts. This did not cause any irritation and seemed to even out some redness. My skin felt softer, healthier, and more balanced. My only 2 critiques was that this can feel a touch too nourishing only when I layered thicker serums underneath during a hot, humid day. Also I would prefer this in a pump package since the runny texture can be hard to get out of the jar. Regardless, I am enjoying using this and will continue to use it year round since it is so easy to layer for a thicker occlusion during the colder months. **update, I have a few clogged pores while using this, it may just be from increased humidity in my area. I was only using this at night, but have stopped using this. I’ll likely revisit this cream when the summer ends. **new update: I have introduced this back into my nighttime routine for the past month since the weather is colder and it has been very helpful at improving my barrier health and keeping my skin balanced. Also have not experienced clogged pores or breakouts. I think this can definitely work for oily, acne prone skins in a dryer, colder climate.

Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream: I should probably use this a bit more before reviewing it, but I’ve used two samples of it before and I’m so excited to finally have the full size now! The cream is a super pretty light blue because of the guaiazulene in it. It spreads easily and has no smell (If I remember correctly the cream used to contain essential oils in the past, mine doesn’t and I’m pretty happy about it). They have a jar version that comes with a little spatula, the bigger version is in a tube. The ingredients are really great: It has shea butter, argan oil and jojoba oil. Sodium hyaluronate, glycerin and Ceramide NP for hydration. Amazing calming ingredients like aforementioned guaiazulene, centella asiatica and broccoli extract. That’s not all though! The cream also contains Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (which is commonly known as Argireline!) and several forms of EGF. The cream is recommended for sensitive or irritated skin (for example after sun exposure, laser treatment or shaving). You can also use it on acne. It feels really cooling on my skin and definitely helps with redness. So far I like it a lot. I hope it will also help with the more persistent redness I have on my cheeks.

bye bye flaky skin!
It’s finally empty and in turn, I can finally write the glowing review this baby deserves. After using this product for a couple months, my dry, sensitive, acne prone skin has never thrived more. The texture of this moisturizer (and of course the centella) have really helped to soothe my irritated skin and leave a lightweight, smooth layer behind that make it the perfect day time cream for me underneath my primer and sunscreen.....literally you guys, not only has this helped calm my acne and redness, but I have not had the dry flakes around my nose or chin area that I usually do after 12 hour work days and medium coverage foundation and this is really the primary reason for that. A product that leaves my skin hydrated, my makeup flawless, and my VERY reactive skin feeling soothed and nourished??? You can definitely say I made sure to order some backup before I even completely ran out. While I prefer something heavier overnight most of the time, this is now a permanent staple in my morning routine and I really couldn’t be any happier with it ☀️ íUNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream
