Great for dry skin
#Zeroid - Intensive cream[products]# I received this as a gift from 0.8l and was asked to give an honest review. About this product: this product is made for people who have severe dry skin. This product contains defensamide and ceramide that is infused into the cream to help keep the skin deeply moisturized. It also contains squalane that helps lock the moisture in to keep skin feeling soft and silky. I have to admit that I really like this product a lot . It’s not greasy or oily. It’s very hydrating and get quickly absorbed into the skin. Have been trying this product for a week and see a lot of improvement on my skin with the dryness. It doesn’t have a smell. It doesn’t have any unpleasant or strong odor. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Holy Grail Beauty Co is a British brand that is cruelty-free, affordable and products made up of 70% organic bases. And how slick is that packaging? I have to admit it is the first thing that caught my eye, you all know I am a sucker for air tight pump type products with minimalist packaging 🤩The formulations themselves are even more so impressive. Retinol Repair Skin Creme RRP:£23.99 ~ Contains 1% retinyl palmitate, shea butter, hyaluronic acid, green tea extract, and aloe vera leaf juice. This is a rich night cream that smells and feels lovely on the skin, absorbs beautifully, and doesn’t leave residue. Retinyl palmitate is a super gentle form of retinol so I used it with and without a 1% retinol and I didn’t have any irritation or dryness. Another point to note my skin is very dry and I did not need to add an oil to this, it was just right. Comfort is the word that comes to mind!

SHISEIDO - Pureness Moisturizing Gel-Cream This gel moisturizer is the perfect way to quench oily skin. It claims to quench your skin immediately and help protect the skin's natural balance, aswell as increasing the skin's moisture retention. It’s gel-like texture feels like water when applied, leaving the skin feeling fresh. It’s quickly absorbed by the skin leaving it hydrated. The reason I like it so much is because it’s so lightweight making it good for layering products during my night routine or under makeup during the day. It also does a really good job controlling the oil in my T-zone. Although this one doesn’t promise to have a matifying effect like the matifying moisturizer in this collection it still does a really good job at it. Which is the main reason I like it. It’s scent is very mild, with almost no fragrance at all. I had a good experience with this gel but I am not sure I would repurchase. Overall, I think for a gel moisturizer I can find other alternatives for less money that would still work the same way as this one, and with more than 1.4 oz. I bought mine at TJ Maxx so if you can find it at the TJ Maxx price then it’s worth the try.

Moisturizer for when my skin is in its feelings
I wouldn’t categorize my skin as sensitive, but it definitely gets in its feelings sometimes and be reactive to products it doesn’t agree with. If I feel like my skin needs a breather and want to give it the chance to recharge, I usually reach for belif’s The True Cream Aqua Bomb. It’s a lightweight gel moisturizer that only wants to give your skin a surge of hydration. It’s so refreshing and light. The only thing I don’t love about this moisturizer is that it contains alcohol denat and fragrance, which can both be irritating and cause dryness - so I don’t think this is a genuine option for those with REAL sensitive skin or dryness (which is why I gave it 3 stars). After doing some research on these ingredients I won’t be repurchasing this guy. Let this be a reminder to always check the ingredients list! But nevertheless it does keep my skin hydrated and creates a nice dewy bounce. Some people have complained that the moisturizer doesn’t absorb fully and just sits on the skin - this hasn’t happened for me - maybe because I always use it after exfoliating? belif - The True Cream Aqua Bomb

I’ve been testing out some products from The Vegan Glow Their Good Moirning & Good Night Cream Both contain very hydrating and moisturising ingredients and the inci list is a short one. I find both aren’t thick/heavy and are honestly 🙌🏽 fab face creams. I don’t often feature creams since I mostly like to talk about the treatment products I use for my skin concerns... Well these are definitely formulated very well; my sis has been using some of the day cream too! I find the night cream is ideal, as the ingredients are simple, hydrating and you can apply this on top of other serums without your face feeling clammy. Since it doesn’t have any potent actives, this won’t interact badly with treatment products you may be using. All the ingredients are also low on the EWG list (i.e are non-toxic) ✅ Love how most Korean Skincare are formulated so well🔝 Ooo lemme know if you are a morning person ☀️ or a night owl 🌙

The product: it’s a moisturizer that also includes spf. Provides hydration and protection! My impressions: I love it! It takes a minute to sink in. Doesn’t smell overly powerful, it’s has a creamy texture that is light weight and I feel very protected! It doesn’t get overly oily that makes me feel greasy which is perfect! How it worked for my dry skin: like a dream. I need so much hydration since I have pretty extreme dryness especially now in winter. I use it both in winter and summer and it’s great. Length of use: a year Cost: $38 Recommend: if you have dry skin and want less products in your routine I do recommend picking it up because it’s a 2 in 1 product! Repurchase: yes! Even got a mini to put in my car! Overall rating: 5 out of 5! Love that it’s 2 in 1 which I think the price makes that fair. Doesn’t get all overly oily which is what I want! HUMECTANTS Humectants are hygroscopic, meaning they draw moisture from their surroundings. By forming hydrogen bonds with molecules of water, humectants retain hydration by preventing trans-epidermal water loss. If applied onto dry skin, these ingredients may actually pull the moisture out of the skin, leading to dehydration. Thus, I prefer to apply humectants onto slightly wet skin, in order to grab onto the water and slow it from evaporating. Whilst some prefer to apply skincare in order of viscosity, i’ve been applying The Inkey List Polyglutamic Acid, followed by this Hado Labo Perfect Gel onto wet skin in the evening, and then waiting around 10 minutes before applying treatment steps such as acids, or retinoids. After this, I apply heavier treatments, such as emulsions, occlusives or oils. Humectants may include: Hyaluronic Acid, Polyglutamic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Collagen, Sodium PCA
