I’ll be trying out some new products! A review to come in the next few weeks or so! Skin: bliss - Pumpkin Powerhouse Resurfacing & Exfoliating Enzyme Mask Testing this out bc I have terrible dark sports on my cheeks and this has been said to help exfoliate and fade dark spot. PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula, Moisture Rich Night Cream I definitely needed a night cream that was meant for people with darker shaded skin tone. This is supposed to help with dark spots as well. There’s no tag for the Gold Bond dark spot minimizing body cream but i have terrible dark spots on the shoulders, back and chest as well so I’m hoping this will help to fade as well. Hair: TPH— Make it Rain Hydration rich conditioner I have such dry hair that I’ve been wanting to try some products to help with my dry scalp! We’ll see how this works! I’ve bought some other products but I’m debating on taking them back (lol buyers remorse) we’ll see! 🧐

Skin Update and product reviews
So in my last posts I introduced my routine and some new products I would be trying so here is an update on my skin and some reviews. Ps. Thee photos were taken in on day but with different lighting to show different views of my skin 👍🏾 The CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser is absolutely amazing. Usually after washing my skin feels clean but dull but this cleanser leaves my skin feeling so soft and moisturized. I didn’t know it could feel that good before moisturizer. This completes my moisture focused routine and my skin feels great all day. The PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula, Moisture Rich Night Cream was also very pleasing. It contains Retinol, Peptide Complex, Shea Butter and Aloe which attracted me because I’m to scared for a whole retinol serum but wanted the good affects. It’s very mosturizing and I do feel that my skin is smoother. I’ve also almost finished my The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HAserums and I feel like they were great in my skin routine and definitely helped me obtain some evenness. Maskne left me with some new dark spots but overall my skin is just getting healthier and my skin tone is becoming more even and that’s my main goal 🥰🥰

Why does my skin react different night vs day?
Over the years I have gone through hundreds of products figuring out what works for me. I have finally found a good set of products that I love, but sometimes when I use certain products in the daytime (such as Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil and certain facemasks, I breakout so much worse than I do when I use the same exact product at night! I am confused by this so I have been wondering if it’s related to my oil levels throughout the day or what? Should I be using more drying products in the day time and hydrating at night? The only ones that really work for me day and night are The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and THE BODY SHOP - Jumbo Tea Tree Oil although I know Hyram has said oils are not for the face

My favorite body products & scents of 2020!
I’m a huge fan of vanilla-Esque, musky scents, and on the flip side I love very clean scents. That being said here are my favorite body products & Scents! LUSH - American Cream Shower Gel which I pair with the matching perfume LUSH - American Cream Perfume . This stuff is straight up the most delicious scent. 🤤 It’s fresh, yet at the same time has a bit of sweeter scent that reminds me of vanilla, despite it being strawberry and orange. I always smell so good with these products and the perfume lasts pretty much all day! I’m also enjoying #Lush - Honey I Washed the Kids Shower Gel[products]#[FiveStars] , the scent is so yummy and sweet, and in the shower it takes on a warmer, more toffee-honey scent. I love to pair it with Maison Margiela - ’REPLICA’ By The Fireplace , which Is ALL the musk and vanilla I could possibly need. This stuff transports me to a big bonfire roasting marshmallows. It’s so hard to describe, but it smells amazing. It’s very strong, so If you’re sensitive to scents just keep that in mind. #Shiseido - Hadasui Skin & Body Lotion[products]#[FiveStars] this has almost no scent and has a watery consistency. I like to apply it all over my body and then follow up with Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil on my dry spots (elbows, knees, etc.) I personally love the smell of bio oil and I also love how light the Hadasui is, it hydrates without making the skin on my body feel sticky. My staple perfume that I’ve been using for years are #Soap & Paper Factory - Vanilla Fleur Roll-On Perfume Oil[products]#[FiveStars] which has the richest vanilla-bourbon scent, I’ve gotten compliments for years whenever I wear this! It just smells so good and lasts all day, the product lasts a long time (about 1 yr I have to buy a new one), and it comes at an affordable price point. 💕 So there they are! My 2020 Body Care Faves. What are some of yours?

Thanksgiving Ingredients Perfect For Beauty!!
I was busy planning my families Zoom Thanksgiving when I really started thinking about the ingredients in the dishes. And boom! Out of nowhere I decided to investigate some of these ingredients in beauty. Green beans: Green beans have a lot of benefits for beauty. First, they contain proteins that can help maintain healthy hair. They also have both Vitamin C and A. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps with collagen production, and Vitamin A helps with dullness in the skin. Green beans also contain calcium, which is great for you hair and nails. Yams: Yam extract is a very newly researched ingredient with lots of amazing properties. It contains steroid saponins, which are naturally occurring molecules in plants. These saponins are great for anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant purposes. Yam extract also has diosgenin, which can help soothe your skins’ pigmentation, and make it more even. Cranberries: Cranberries are an amazing ingredient that’s often overlooked. Cranberries are loaded with antioxidants that protect your cells, as well as Omega Fatty Acids that keep skin hydrated and plump. The hydrating and moisturizing properties of cranberries allow them to help with skin issues such as dryness, looseness, and dehydration. Pumpkin: If you thought cranberries were a powerhouse, wait until you hear about pumpkins! To start, pumpkins are an AHA acid, which helps to exfoliate your skin. They also have a lot of antioxidants. Pumpkins also contain Vitamin E, which can help with a range of skin issues including inflammation, the appearance of pores, excess oil, acne, blackheads, and more. SHOP THE INGREDIENTS!!! Green beans: Couldn’t find any good ones that weren’t expensive. Get on that Cerave! Yams: #Eminence - Yam & Pumpkin Enzyme Peel[products]#[FourStars] Cranberries: #Kiehls - Lip Balm #1 Cranberry[products]#[FiveStars] Pumpkins: NATIVE - Pumpkin Spice Latte bliss - Pumpkin Powerhouse Resurfacing & Exfoliating Enzyme Mask Those are the ingredients I have for you today! Give this post a cheer so more people can put Thanksgiving on their face! Follow me for similar content, and check out my podcast Beauty Talk wherever podcasts are!

Ending my day with the 🎃 Pumpkin Powerhouse mask from @bliss, it is a rejuvenating and exfoliating enzyme mask. I really enjoy this mask every 1-2 times a week, my face has been so rough, bumpy and dull, but after one use of this mask I saw results immediately, my face is brighter and SO smooth and yes , you will feel a little tingling to me personally I do not care, I leave it for 10 minutes because my skin is acting a little more sensitive, if you want to add hydration and shine to your skin try this pumpkin mask 🎃 !! What’s your favorite mask? bliss - Pumpkin Powerhouse Resurfacing & Exfoliating Enzyme Mask

This lovely body oil by olivea
This lovely body oil by oliveandm has been getting some real love from me as a post-shower moisturizer because it's effective, non-greasy, and perfect for my sensitive, eczema-prone skin. I actually went to see my doctor about an uncontrollable patch of eczema on my leg. She looked at my skin and asked me, "Do you ever moisturize your legs?" Embarrassingly, I'm a beauty blogger who puts 10+ products on my face nightly but can't be bothered to put even one on my body. I pledged to do better. This olive-based body oil is the first body moisturizer that hasn't made my eczema sting and burn when I apply it. Instead, it feels extremely soothing and immediately calms some of the itching and irritation. While I did have to use the steroid cream my doctor prescribed to get the eczema back under control, I've since stopped using it and this oil has helped keep my skin healthy and supple. It has a very light fresh herbal bergamot scent that is very pleasant but very subtle, which is great for sensitive skin.

My go to body care products!
My go to body care products!
🐝💛 What's buzzin' guys? Happy farmacyfridays! As of late, these farmacybeauty bbs have been my go to body care products. 🍯 I love using them to keep my body feeling refreshed, soft, and well-moisturized. And here's a lil' tip: if your skin is feeling dry (like mine usually does esp. during the winter months), add a drop or 2 of Honey Grail to your Honey Butter Body cream for that exxxtra boost of hydration. It's so good. 😉👌 These were kindly gifted but all thoughts are my own. Anyway, happy Friday the 13th! 🥴 Remember to wash your hands, try not to touch your face, and BEE safe out there, my honey bees. Tiber River Espresso Yourself Scrub
Tiber River Espresso Yourself Scrub
According to them, here’s 5 reasons you should be using this coffee based body scrub. 1. Coffee packs a powerful punch to help your skin fight free radicals. 2. Coffee, when applied topically, will reduce redness giving you a less puffy and more even skin tone. 3. Caffeine draws water out from your fat cells and helps minimize the appearance of dimples on the skin. 4. Ground coffee beans make for a great natural, gentle exfoliant. 5. Coffee has stimulating properties that help to brighten the skin and make it more glowy and radiant. This scrub does an amazing job at exfoliating without leaving my sensitive skin feeling raw or sore. I’d definitely recommend it!

Dry Skin Who?
Dry Skin Who?
This is my first time reviewing a body care product and I’m so excited to show you all my favourite body cream ever! This is the NIVEA - NIVEA Crème and it has a thiccccc consistency as well as a lovely, very Nivea smell (if you know, you know). It is slightly greasy when you put it on but afterwards it really smooths out into your skin. I previously used the lotion which had a thinner consistency and it came in a bottle form, and it didn’t work well with my skin as I have very sensitive skin and I gave up using Nivea products. This body cream was gifted to me and I was going to give it to my sister, but it had raving reviews about it so I gave it a go and I have never looked back since. My legs and elbows were really dry, and after about a week of using this product, my whole entire body felt as smooth as a baby’s bum. 🍑 I have been using this ever since January, and I haven’t had any problems with it. Also, there is so much product that I probably won’t be able to use it up in a year! Rating: ★★★★★

Made By A Samoan is actually m
Made By A Samoan is actually made by a Samoan, but in Wellington NZ. They source the coconuts made for all of their products by a small family run business in Samoa. These products are all hand made. . 🥥Skin Moisturising Oil Lemongrass & Coconut- I adore this oil. I am a massive fan of dry oils for my body, as normal moisturisers don’t usually cut it for me. This product is so lightweight & in no way heavy, I always wait around 5 min max before dressing & there is never any transfer onto my clothes. The smell is so divine & refreshing for the am. Citrusy ( the lemongrass) but not too sweet. 🥥Body Scrub Coffee and Coconut- I’ve tried soo many body scrubs & this one is by far my favourite. The smell is so invigorating & refreshing. I need to be blunt, my skin feels downright sexy after using this product every.Single.Time.
