#BLM Just trying to be intentional and consistent with my skincare.
SKIN DISASTER 😱😭
(After on top before on bottom) My skin literally exploded. I honestly don’t know exactly what happened. I got red irritating and painful pimples and bumps on the left side of my face for maybe 2-3 weeks straight I drew back in all my skin care and used a very gentle cleansing routine. My skin didn’t really respond at all. I don’t know what happened it did eventually calm down but it was terrible if anyone knows what might have triggered this (I’m thinking stress) please I’d love to hear your ideas.
So I haven’t been on here in the past few months because school started and I had personal events that required my attention to be directed away from social media. Stay tuned for a post on my skin DISASTER and some new products I will be trying. few updates I still love my CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser a lot but I think it’s not super helpful with acne but definitely helps smooth and even out my skin. So I use it at night I do love the my Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil as well but it works VERY slow but you do see results. I like my PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula, Moisture Rich Night Cream but I haven’t been using it consistently to give my exact opinion. It is VERY moisturizing you don’t need to use a lot at all.

HELP! Makeup for large/oily pores anyone?
My pores are so huge! My makeup sinks into them and when I get oily it’s especially worse. Here is what i currently use: Too Faced - Peach Perfect Dynamic Duo Set -I don’t have the set but I used the primer. Not sure if it’s working REVOLUTION banana powder -it’s seems to keep my skin from oil but not for extended periods of time. Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation I love this foundation it’s the only one that matches my skin tone perfectly. I just need products that will support it and make it last. URBAN DECAY - De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray This is amazing but I feel like it doesn’t hold as well! I feel like maybe my makeup routine is off or I’m not using products correctly to maximize wear time.

My fav body lotion with wonderful scent😍😍😍
Johnson's MILK peach&apricot And we understand baby’s delicate skin loses moisture faster and more easily throughout the day. JOHNSON’S® baby milk lotion contains a rich combination of milk proteins plus essential vitamins to help complete skin nourishment. It is the safest baby lotion. By nourishing skin, it leaves it softer, smoother and healthier after the very first use. This fine soap contains milk proteins and vitamin E. It does not hurt eyes. Box says it is dermatologist and allergy tested. Ingredients: Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Fragrance, Glycerin, Mineral Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Etidronic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vit E), Milk Protein. The product comes in a white soft plastic tube (available in tubs also). It is a thick white cream which gets easily absorbed giving you a non-greasy yet moisturised finish. Firstly i bought it for my younger brother. It is great, leave my brother's skin very smooth and it is not sticky, it dries very fast and has a wonderful smell. It also helps with any rash caused by the diaper, and it's great on the knees after he has scratched them playing in the park so they won't be like the skin of a crocodile! Then i tried it on my sensitive skin. It has a soft clean scent. Super affordable watery texture and easy to wash. Wonderful in the winter for chapped skin, as one would never complain of “sting” as with other lotions! Pros: * A very good moisturiser. * Gets easily absorbed. Non-greasy. * Never broke me out. * Very good scent * Contains Vitamins A & E and milk protein which are good for skin. * Affordable. * Packaging is good. Can carry it in your purse easily. * Texture is thick and has a long staying power. * It is mainly a baby product, so no harmful chemicals. * Cons: It contains mineral oil, which I really don’t like much. Otherwise it is a very good product. What's your fav body lotion? Tell me below!👇
What is the deal with these creepy masks??👶🏼
I finally tried the creepy, rubber baby face masks! I have always seen these and been so intrigued, mainly because of the bright colors and creepy baby faces 😂 So when I saw these at TJ Maxx for $6, I thought I would finally grab one to try. I have heard really good things about the Dr. Jart brand for soothing redness, so I got the “soothe” mask. The way this mask works is that it comes with two packets of ingredients when mixed turn into a goopy white mixture. One packet is more of a cream, and the other is a liquid. Here’s how it works: Put the contents of the two packets into the cup Put your finger over the hole and shake! It quickly mixes together to form a thicker mixture Use the spatula/straw to spread it over your face Let it sit for 15-20 minutes until it solidifies into a rubbery face mask Peel it off! Honestly, I was not super crazy about this mask. I feel like it has more of a novelty appeal! It was neat getting to mix the mask yourself, but I found it VERY difficult to spread evenly onto my face. This was problematic because then it did not peel off as easily in the end. It did leave my skin very soft and feeling soothed, but in all it was a pretty complicated (not to mention expensive) experience. At $6 for a single-use mask, I would not recommend this for more than just trying it for fun!

Exfoliation and what’s best for your skin
This guide above was based off recommendations from the American Academy of Dermatology. They outline each skin type and if you should chemically exfoliate or if it’s ok for your skin type to physically exfoliate. Because every type of exfoliation may not work for every skin type, it’s important to consider your skin type before choosing an exfoliation method 💦 So keep this handy for when you have questions! Always remember, the AAD and dermatologists will be able to you the best advice so if you are worried check with them ❤️❤️ Do you agree with the chart above? What’s your favorite way to exfoliate and your favorite product? Mine is The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution ! I even got my husband to try it last night!! 😳

DIY brow lamination! $30 for $120 salon-worthy results
As a beauty lover, I always try the latest beauty methods unremittingly. One of them is the brow fit trend. My eyebrows are very sparse, and I have not plucked them for two years to make them grow. So when I saw this new technology, I felt that maybe there was hope for me and my brows. Salon treatments usually cost around $120 and last for six to eight weeks, but because the salon is closed, I decided to try lamination of my eyebrows at home. I got this kit from amazon only costs $30! How did it work? First, I used the eyelash glue of this kit to glue the eyebrows to the desired position. I applied the perm liquid solution on one eyebrow at a time and then topped plastic wrap on it to make the chemical work. Eight minutes later, I used the fixing solution to set the broken hair bonds into the shape that was glued at the beginning. When I applied it, my forehead area started to foam. That is normal, so don’t be worried. I also put it on my eyebrows with plastic wrap for eight minutes. After removing the chemicals, the next step is to clean them. Finally, I used the nutritional oil included in the kit. It’s an essential step because the chemicals used in the lamination process can dry out the hair. The photo is the result immediately after! The eyebrow lamination at home took about an hour, and I can say it’s efficient and affordable! BUT, If you want to have a try, please make sure you’re not allergic to these chemical things and be cautious when applying them. Product used: Elevate the Beauty - Eyebrow and Lash Lamination kit. Unfortunately, this kit has already sold out.

Bye! Blackheads And Closed Comedones! Thank Goodness For...
I have combination-oily skin. Blackheads, pimples and other types of acne are common for people with combo-oily/oily skin. If we don’t treat our oily skin, pores can become clogged and enlarged, and dead skin cells may accumulate, especially in summer. Today I'd like to share a skincare combo that helps remove blackheads, excess oils and decongest pores. 100% recommend for people with oily skin! MARIO BADESCU - Silver Powder The Silver Powder is known for its black and whitehead removing ability and it is the mildest blackhead remover product I've ever used. Unlike other products which attempt to ‘pull’ blackheads out from pores, Mario Badescu Silver Powder soaks up the oil and debris that cause blackheads in order to eliminate them. Ingredients like Kaolin and Zinc Oxide help purify pores and remove impurities to reveal skin that appears clearer and more refined. How to use: -Mix a little toner with some silver powder and spread a thick layer on your nose. -After 15 minutes, wash it off with warm water. -Use a blackhead remover or a cotton swab to gently scrape off remnants from any whiteheads/blackheads. -Apply a toner or a mask to shrink pores. The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Price: £6.80 or $8.70 for 240 ml. Glycolic acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). The ingredient provides a nice mild exfoliation as it breaks down the outermost layer of dead skin and allows it to penetrate deeply and easily. So I bought this for removing the closed comedones on my forehead. After using this babe for two weeks straight, the closed comedones on my forehead have disappeared and my T-zone has become less oily too. I also noticed more even-toned skin and the dullness went away. How to use: -Use it 3 to 5 times a week after showering and cleansing at night -Double cleanse by pouring it onto a cotton pad and wipe your face -Use a cotton swab to dab it on areas with bumps and blackheads Tips: -Avoid using it around your eyes and on areas of red and swollen acne. -Avoid using other follow-up skincare products which contain acids, nicotinamide, and vitamin C. -Avoid using it as a toner mask as it may cause irritation! -Avoid using it in the morning and don't forget to apply sunscreen!

OW: treating my nodular acne
🌊 first off, sorry if the first photos make you a little uncomfortable! This is my current face as of June 5, and I have a huge and annoying nodule on my forehead. Its been here for 4 or more days now. The worst nodules ive had have lasted up to two weeks from formation to dissapation. 🌊 What is nodular acne? We all know what a whitehead is, a squeezable, popable little brat of a zit. a blackhead is similar but with an open surface and easily extracted. Well, this isn’t open or popable. And if you touch it, its painful as heck. I had the misfortune of wearing a hat on a nodule and it was incredibly painful. A nodule forms the same way as other acne, with a blocked pore, but deeper in the skin. its a hard red bump on your skin, which can become as large as a fingernail (its hideous). The nodule is also associated with the bacteria p. acne. 🌊 Treating Nodular Acne If you have nodular acne, its time to see a dermatologist! This acne can’t be cured using drugstore products and is considered pretty severe. Here are the products given to my and/or recommended by my derm! DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel My dermatologist prescribed Differin which is adapaleme (a retinoid) 0.3%, which is MUCH higher than you can buy anywhere. This encourages skin cell turnover so that you get less skin clogs and reduces inflammation. The one in the link is only 0.1% but it can be a game changer for many people. I only apply it at night as it makes me sun sensitive SMARTR SKIN - MICRONEEDLE DERMA ROLLER i microneedle before putting on topical treatments to help the serums and treatments get into my skin. If i have an active spot, i dont roll over it — usually it hurts too much to anyhow. I always sterilize my needles with isopropyl alcohol beforehand SEPHORA COLLECTION - Clear Skin Days by Clarifying Serum This is a salicylic acid aka beta hydroxy acid solutjon that I use most AM and PMs. Salicylic acid dissolves oil and goes into pores to help clear breakouts. I use this as an extra preventative measure to stop breakouts from forming at all up&up - Max. Strength Acne Medication This benzoyl peroxide topical cream kills acne bacteria, and i use it as a spot treatment on top of any active nodules I have. It can be drying, so I use just a little bit
