The Good And Bad AliExpress Hair Accessories
EVERY time I buy a hair claw from AliExpress, within three days or less they completely bust into several different pieces. I am not rough with them; they each have a specific place I hang them in my vanity room for safekeeping. But, they just fall apart in my hand as soon as I open the claw. What I WOULD suggest from AliExpress is their METAL hair accessories. Most bend easily in any direction, (and I’ve bent them alright), but they haven’t broke. I bought Korean Wedding Hair Aceessories which I like very much. I really like the long vines of pearls and/or crystals in all different lengths. (You should be really careful taking out any metal hair accessory so as to not get your hair caught.) In the pics, I bought all the hair accessories through AliExpress and I’m even wearing 2 red rose claw clips, (fingers crossed that they won’t break soon!). I am wearing two hair extensions from AliExpress. These and two pony tail claw clips just last and LAST! I’ve had them for about 4 months and they still look like I bought them yesterday! I DO NOT recommend buying hair extensions from AliExpress because the majority I’ve bought DO NOT last. ALTHOUGH, I was extremely lucky as of late and bought a lace front wig from them for $34 USD. I have a bit of experience with wigs, full, 1/2, bangs, and hair extensions, weaves, glue-ins, keratin bonds, blah, blah... So I can tell that the wig and other AliExpress extensions won’t last for long: (2 months tops with occasional wear say 3x a week.) LIST OF AMAZON AND ALIEXPRESS STORES THAT I LIKE: Amazon: Lilinta Hair Scrunchie Extension (pic with red accessories) Amazon: Prettyshop Ponytail Extensions (pic in aqua kaftan) AliExpress: DO NOT buy any of the hair extensions that is shown in the pic above. I brushed it softly and big chunks fell out. All 3 of these are subpar. AliExpress: Lace front wig. Decent if you’re on a budget. Hair doesn’t frizz that bad. TIP: If your hair tends to frizz and do the, ‘static-cling-thing’, always have some fabric softener sheets in your purse and run it through downward.

Pin straight hair can ALWAYS be a CUTE look 😊
Remember the days of high school where it was the coolest thing ever to have pin straight hair! Well, I do! I even remember my first hair straightener - it was a white Conair brand covered in rainbow polka dots! It was like $14.99 and I found it in the college prep section at Target! Fast forward to my first retail job at Best Buy back in the early 2010s and I was able to score my first prestige hair tool, the famous CHI - Air Expert Classic Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron ! I’ve honestly had this flat iron for YEARS and it still works like Magic ✨✨✨! If I remember right, back in the day this flat iron retailed around $100! Very expensive compared to my $15 one! But i was able to get it for 1/2 off when I had my Best Buy discount. It’s been more than 5 years and my baby is still going strong - 100% recommend it to anyone 👍🏼! Now back to CUTE hairstyle 101! Whenever you’re in need of a quick and super cute look, you can always straighten (if you are okay with putting heat on your hair)! For reference, I have long fine wavy brunette hair. I typically do not put heat on my hair but on the occasion that I want to change up my look, I will! When I do want to straighten my hair, I first wash it, let it air dry, and once it’s dry I separate my hair into two parts (top and bottom). Once I have my bottom part ready, I comb through it to make sure no knots are in it, and once that’s done I begin to flat iron my hair at the second to highest temperature. Since my hair is fine, I can do my entire head of hair in 20 minutes using this flat iron. The ceramic plates of the iron leave my hair naturally shiny and I typically do not add any other products unless it’s humid outside. The final look as you can see is a flawless pin straight hair that is perfect for a fun day out with friends, a formal or causal event, or for a date night! I think this hairstyle would be cute on any length and texture of hair. Let me know your cute hair style ideas in the comment section! Edit: Additionally, for an extra dosage of cute hairstyle - you can always add a super adorable headband to straight, wavy, or curly hair! I’ve added a third picture to show you how a headband can be the extra pop you need when doing any sort of hairstyle. The bonus about it is that your hair can be down, tied up, semi tied up, or in a bun and the headband will look stunning. This headband here was from Ross! Y’all don’t need to spend and arm and leg on cute accessories! Amazon has some great options as well!

Easiest Braided Crown Hairstyle
This is such a cute and easy braided look! My hair type is thick and wavy but this hairstyle will work with any hair type. Step 1: Section off a small piece of hair in the underside Step 2: Braid a traditional three strand braid Step 3: Move single strand to other side of head Step 4: Bobby pin strand so hair overlaps it That’s it! The only tool necessary is a single bobby pin making this style super easy
Easy and quick buns for lazy days with the wrap-up
My hair is incredibly easy to deal with most of the times. But in summer, things get really bad. Well, the same happens if I go to the gym (hence me trying to avoid it most days!) And it’s all because I tend to sweat. Like a lot. Just imagine sweat pouring down like in the movies. That’s me! Luckily, it doesn’t smell. Unfortunately, my hair tends to look terrible after 5 minutes of walking in the heat or after an hour at the gym. And it starts smelling too. And this you can’t sort out with dry shampoo, trust me, I’ve tried. The only thing I can do is to wash it each and every time. But if you have long hair like I do, the dry blowing and styling takes forever. It’s like a part time job that I hate. So, I had to come up with solutions to look great even if I don’t have the time, the energy or just not in the mood to do my hair. After lots of testing and research, I discovered that it’s a casual bun that I can wear to work and everywhere else, and it doesn’t even matter if I wear a sporty, casual or smart outfit because it looks good with everything. At first I was using hair ties, then hair pins to secure the bun, but lately I’ve got very good with the wrap-up bun tool (my daughter was using it for her ballet lessons, so it was always there, just in front of me!). So, what I do now is wash my hair when I shower and let it dry naturally or use the dry blower. To make sure the hair doesn’t get frizzy, I apply a few drops of Nashi Argan Oil on the damp hair. The hair treatment helps with untangling the hair, which is really great! And in the morning, when I want to leave the house, I just wrap the hair in a bun and I’m done in like under 2 minutes. It’s like the perfect solution for me and I tend to do it more and more often (even when I’d have the time to do something with my hair!)
Why I prefer middle parts for oval faces
Why I prefer a middle part on my hair! My hair type is long, wavy and thick. I’ve always had long hair and I often had a slight side part. I decided to change this and I feel like it works so much better! If you have a small oval face shape like me (similar to a heart face shape except with a rounded hairline), I would recommend recommend a middle part. I think the middle part balances out the soft features of an oval shaped face. When considering switching to a middle part, consider what hairstyles you usually wear. If you often wear your hair up, it could be beneficial to have a middle part. For me, when I wear my hair in a low pony I always like to have a middle part. While most of this is up for personal preference, this is just what I recommend and what has worked for me!
My favorite hair style with a hair scarf
I love doing a half up bun with a hair scarf for a cute look and to add some spice to my hair haha 😊 it’s such a cute style and it’s so trendy and popular especially with a hair scarf. I love styling my hair with scarfs bc it adds the perfect look to you hair style ❤️✨🌸 I’ll be adding a part two and 3 the 3rd one will be a picture of how I do a half up / high braided pony with a hair scarf it’s a cute one!
Summer Green Nail Polish
UO Nail Polish in “Sage Everything” Sage 🌱? Matcha 🍵 ? Avocado 🥑? Anyways it’s a perfectly refreshing green for summer. It’s very affordable: I think $5 for 1 and $10 for 3. The brush isn’t the best but it’s small and easy to handle. I did apply a top coat but noticeably the color has been on my nails for a week now and it hasn’t chipped. However, the formula of this nail polish is not the best, in that it’s not easy to get one coat even. My suggestion would be to layer two thin coats: 1) do a thin coat as base. don’t get too much onto your nails. doesn’t matter if the color is a bit uneven. and let it dry a bit. 2) do another coat, still don’t put too much product on the brush. let the second coat achieve an even color.
