Flawless skin in a bottle
For my flawless foundation and concealer picks I can’t go past these 3.. the Nars Sheer Glow is exactly the medium coverage flawless I want for my weekday looks while I lean more towards the fuller coverage Mac Studio Fix for weekends. Everyday it’s my Nars Creamy Concealer covering all my blemishes and tired eyes! 💕

My staple moisturiser
For this weeks Cheries Picks how could I not talk about Cliniques Moisture Surge 😍 as my skin is so sensitive it’s quite hard for me to find a product I won’t react to and everything I have ever been searching for is in this cream. It smells so delightfully fresh and spreads so thinly and evenly. If you’re looking for a day cream that won’t break you out I definitely recommend CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator

I have such sensitive skin so I was a bit nervous about using the sand and sky clay mask. It tingles on application but stops as it drys, and makes your skin feel so tight afterwards! SAND&SKY - Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask

The best toner???
The product✨ The Ordinary’s glycolic acid 7% toning solution is an exfoliating toner with 7% glycolic acid, amino acids, aloe vera, ginseng, and Tasmanian pepperberry. This works to combat dullness and uneven texture, and is good for all types fo skin. ••• My thoughts✨ I LOVE exfoliating toners! I think they have been one product that has truly made a difference in my skin, before I started using this is was using glossier’s solution, which I liked but I think I might just like this more. It stings slightly when you apply it, but goes away quickly and is really gentle. I find it to be slightly drying (but most exfoliating toners are), and since I use this only at night I follow it up with plenty of hydrating products. I currently use this about 3 times a week but I’m thinking of bumping it up to 5. I find that this does help with texture on my face, but I’ve also been using it on my chest where I tend to get blackheads and texture and it has helped SOOOO much! Also, this goes for $8.70 for 8oz and it lasts so long!!!! Once again in love with another TO product 😍 ••• The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

Which liquid exfoliant works for sensitive skin?
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, going head-to-head in this post on liquid exfoliants/toners is... Paula’s Choice BHA Liquid and Ole Henriksen’s Glow2OH Dark Spot toner! These products are incredibly similar with one major difference: one is formulated with Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) and one is formulated with a Beta-hydroxy acid (BHA-salicylic acid to be exact!). Read on to see my winner... Products: PAULA'S CHOICE - SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA LIQUID EXFOLIANT OLEHENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner Target Concerns: Paula’s Choice BHA Liquid Exfoliant: clogged pores, uneven skin tone Ole Henriksen Glow2Oh Dark Spot Toner: dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin texture Price: Paula’s Choice: $29.50 for 4oz Ole Henriksen: $29 for 6.5oz Scent: PC: smells subtly of green tea OH: smells overly fragranced like a sweet candy Consistency: PC: completely clear and liquid, like water OH: completely clear and liquid, like water, with a cooling sensation How my sensitive skin reacts to it: PC: I have slight tingling for 30 seconds after application OH: I have burning and redness for the rest of the night after application Overall thoughts: For my sensitive skin, I can only use these products once a week or once every 2 weeks. I will say I prefer the Paula’s Choice product since it doesn’t burn my skin or cause redness after a few minutes after application, but if you are looking to combat wrinkles and fine lines, I would suggest the Ole Henriksen toner. Clogged pores or blackheads? Go with Paula’s Choice. I also can’t stand fragrance so steer clear of Ole Henriksen if you dislike fragrance! Have you tried either of these products? What are your thoughts?

Favourite skincare brand 🙌
Glow Recipe has quickly become one of my favourite brands! I love that all their products do what they claim and always leave my skin feeling incredible! They are always creating new and exciting products that leave you wanting more and excited for their next launch ✨ Within the brand my biggest stand out products are anything from the watermelon range. They just make my skin feel amazing and suit my skin type perfectly especially the AHA Sleeping Mask, I always wake up the next day with super soft and smooth skin 🍉 🍉 I recently was able to pick up the Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream and Watermelon Glow Lip Pop since they only just launched in Australia. I can’t wait to try out these products and get a better feel for them. Once I’ve properly tried these products I’ll be able to give them a proper review but so far from first impressions these are both beautiful products and fit into the Glow Recipe family perfectly! On my third bottle!
fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner Mini I am on my third bottle of the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration toner - I absolutely love it and refuse to be without! I use it every morning after cleansing, and it makes my skin feels so soft and adds a nice hydration boost as well, thanks to the hyaluronic acid in its ingredients. I have never broken out from using it; on the contrary I think it helps to calm the redness in my cheeks down while helping to minimize some problem pores near my nose. It pairs well with the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser and the Black Tea Kombucha Essence. It has a nice light scent to it, and the rose petals inside the bottle add a nice little luxe touch to my skin care routine. The only drawback to the product is that once you get down to about a third of the bottle it’s hard to get the toner out past the rose petals. I just try to always shake the bottle a bit before use to avoid this.
