Hyperpigmentation is frustrating, but it has a cure.
I have been constantly frustrated by my hyperpigmentation because it cannot even be covered by thick concealers. To deal with it, I have tried many products which can be separated into two categories. The first one is sun cream, which can protect the skin from the damage of ultraviolet rays. The function of this is to anti-oxidize. The second is products that relieve pigmentation and make your skin recover from the result of melanin accumulation. The ISDIN Fotoprotector Fusion Water has SPF 50. It is fluid, lightweight, oil-free with intensive protection from the sun. This is an excellent product for preventing the accumulation of more melanin, which can dramatically promote pigmentation. I’ve been using this sun cream for two years, and fewer wrinkles caused by sun occur. So I guess it can also prevent the production of melanin. This is definitely an excellent product to fight against hyperpigmentation. For recovery, I find the Sesderma Azelac Ru effective in relieving pigmentation. The texture is liposomal, but it does not feel oily at all. Of all its ingredients, four are all of the anti-oxidant function, which includes BHT and BHA. It helps the skin to peel off. And I feel regenerated after using it. I have emptied three bottles and it does slow the pace of pigmentation. Another product that has a similar function as Sesderma serum is very ordinary for me. It is also liposomal, containing 20％ vitamin complex. First of all, I break out occasionally after using it. Secondly, it is not as amazing as I think. It needs to be used within one day, so too much application of it will betray my original intention of fighting against hyperpigmentation. So it is not recommended for curing hyperpigmentation.

Believe or not?! My 3-step Morning Routine in Just 3 Min!🤗🤗
I believe you are just like me who don’t like a busy morning and have no time for a full face make up or a full skincare routine. It is hard for some to save time and finish the whole skincare routine at the same time. I just figuring out that by bonding these products together for the morning routine can provide you an overall antioxidant and sunlight protection with an easy and efficient 3-step morning routine. Sometimes when the serum is already hydrating and moisturising, I don’t use a toner but the MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Teait’s really refreshing and prepares for the following make up if necessary. It has a really fresh smell and I like how convenient and easy to spread it all over your face other than use a cotton pad to apply toner. Then I will follow with this COSMEDIX - Affirm Serum. This serum is super powerful and provides an amazing antioxidant protection for my face for the whole day. It has a liquid texture and has a very light sesame smell. It is not a cheap product though but I think that I would buy this again because it surprisingly solved my acne scar and redness problem with its anti-inflammation effect. A little product goes a long way so I think it actually worth it compared to many other so-called antioxidant serums. The last step of my 3-step routine isISDIN - Fusion Water Sunscreen SPF 50+ Oil-Free . Sunscreen is necessary for people with all skin types to fight photoaging. I have combination/oily skin and this sunscreen is non-comedogenic, it doesn’t cause pimples and provides a really comfortable and breathable dry finish. It also dries really fast and doesn’t leave any white marks on my face. One thing I don’t like is its weird fragrance to be honest but I can bear with that with for its affordable price. Time Is never enough and especially valuable in the morning so I wish this could help you to figure out what you may like to try in the morning to save time :P
Skincare for mature skin
Hello 👋🏼, First time here and looking forward to sharing my favorite products and tips for mature (40+) skin and learning about products I haven’t tried yet. Yep, I’m 40. And according to this app, my skin is excellent for my age. Main concern would be large pores - couldn’t agree more. So I must admit it was a pretty accurate diagnosis. For now, I can say I’m a sunscreen enthusiast since sunscreen wasn’t sexy (remember those tacky textures and coconut smell?). I’m also a retinol and lactic acid fan because they just work. Some of my favorite products: SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum ISDIN - Fusion Water Sunscreen SPF 50+ Oil-Free
How do I Best protect my skin from UV damage?
Okay, so we know that UV rays from the sun can damage and age our skin, so what do we do? We wear SPF! This one from Skinceuticals is my new favourite. It’s incredibly lightweight, non greasy, finishes without a white cast and has ample amount of mineral (better for the skin and environment) coverage. So we need to wear this everyday. Yes, even when it’s cloudy, or raining or wintertime! That sun will still get ya and you’ll get wrinkles and age spots. We know to wear SPF everyday now. So how can we improve this protection even more? In comes VITAMIN C!! This vitamin when used topically is a power antioxidant that fights off oxidative stress and damage from free radicals. It also brightens, lightens and tightens, so it’s a superstar. Basically these together work to protect your skin from the sun because of their ability to fight those free radicals and UV says from our most loved and hated sun. The C E Ferulic serum from Skinceuticals is the golden serum since it’s effectiveness is unlike any other. It’s L Ascorbic acid, vitamin e and ferulic acid which are all antioxidants to fight against aging and dull akin. This serum stinks, but it works so beautifully and has a cult status for a reason. Currently my main concern is that I have hyperpigmentation from post acne, so protecting my skin from further damage is ESSENTIAL!! I have dry skin too so I need to be careful i don’t dry it out, but these two work really well with my other hydrating products. SPF and vitamin c can fit into any morning routine easily. Luckily I discovered Skinceuticals after I received the best PR package from them and now I’m hooked!! I have been using the hydrating B5 serum SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel too to really make sure I don’t dry out. Stay young friends ✌🏻

Skinceuticals Serums Review | Worth the $$$?
I've been using Skinceuticals serums exclusively for the past three months to see if they truly made a difference in my skin! My main skin concerns is PIH, or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, that is left behind from breakouts. I have combination skin, I'm mostly normal except for my t-zone which is oily, and any kind of imbalance causes more oil! Let's jump into the serums: - Phloretin CF is a vitamin C serum formulated for more oily skin types. Vit C is so important for my routine and this was no exception! It layers really well underneath all other products because it's a thin, watery consistency. I stored this in my beauty fridge and didn't experience any kind of oxidation of the product! This is my favorite Vit C product that I've tried and a definite repurchase for me. - Phyto+ targets pigmentation using kojic acid and arbutin. It also soothes and calms the skin with cucumber and thyme. I liked this mask and definitely found it super calming, but don't think it did much for my discoloration. It was enjoyable to use but unfortunately I wouldn't repurchase, since I can get the same benefits from other less expensive options! - SKINCEUTICALS - Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum is a serum to target pigmentation using kojic acid, tranexamic acid, and niacinamide. It is hydroquinone free. This is my favorite and the most effective pigmentation fighting serum that I've tried. Like most pigmentation fighting serums this doesn't work immediately, but once it starts working the differences that it made in my skin were drastic! It works really well with other products, and I noticed even more improvement when I incorporated in a retinol product! Definitely going to repurchase this, but for now I'm trying a new serum that claims to work just as well for way less!
SKINCEUTICALS-Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum
This serum is made to clear up any dark spots and discoloration. I like to use it after applying essence and before moisturizer. I must say, if you use it consistently for more than a few weeks, it DOES work. It’s not a miracle overnight product but give it time and your spots will start to fade. It is almost $100 for a small bottle though (30 ml), which is why I give it 4 stars. If you can afford this product and have been trying to get rid of some dark spots I would definitely recommend.

Dark spots be gone! - Skinceuticals
I have been using this product for two and half months and have noticed dark spots from acne scarring and sun exposure disappear! I had these spots for 5 years and couldn’t get rid of them. I previously tried TO Niacinamide + Zinc for 3 months and found it didn’t fully lift the spots. My skin is now almost all clear of dark spots! I can’t wait to start my second bottle!

My Favourite Natural Skin Care Brand
CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution My skin is mixed and a bit sensitive when seasons change. So annoying when the redness comes onto my cheeks!! So usually I would use the brands with natural ingredients. Among the brand I have used, my fave is Caudalie! The key ingredients of Caudalie are usually related to grapes🍇 And with its green packaging, this brand usually gives feelings of refreshing, natural, and safe. In fact, its products are indeed gentle and safe, not irritating at all! My fav Caudalie’s product is Vinoperfect Anti Dark Spot Serum, Caudalie‘s star product🌟 it’s a watery and gentle lotion, quite flowy and easy to apply, not sticky at all! It melts into the skin quite easily, great for mixed or oily skins. Other Caudalie’s products are often on my shopping list, like Grape Water, Instant Foaming Cleanser, Moisturising Toner, etc. Really worthy to give it a go ladies!!

✨This NEW product is worth attention! It brightened my skin in one day...
Murad - Vitamin C Glycolic Brightening Serum is Murad's most recent product, launched around March or April, 2020, and I bought it as soon as I received an email about it. I'm an avid Murad user who has used many of, and have never been let down by, its other skincare products. This brightening serum within an airless dual chamber pump bottle is a pale yellow that's near milky white. It has a thin texture, a bit like Elizabeth Arden PREVAGE® Anti-aging + Intensive Repair Daily Serum and DECORTÉ Whitelogist Bright Express. It doesn't have a gel-like texture but doesn't leave your skin greasy either. I have combination-oily skin. I really like how it feels on my skin. It's refreshing and not sticky at all. It tingles very slightly when first applied but that only lasts around 10 seconds. The directions say to use it AM and PM but use it with a sunscreen during the day to improve hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. I could see it brightening my skin after just one day, with no acne breakouts or allergy flares. Using it consistently resurfaces and removes dead, dulling surface cells to reveal more radiant skin. Murad has launched two types of Vita-C serums but I've never used the previous one. I think that this latest launch visibly brightened my skin complexion and lightened my skin tone, so those who want a lighter skin tone can give this a go! If you have any questions, feel free to share your thoughs below!
