Hi guys!! I wanted to share how I get my everyday beachy waves!! I’m using the tigi bed head 1&1/4” curling wand! It’s my favorite because it works so well and it was only $29.99❤️ I usually curl my hair like this 2 times a week because the curl holds so well in my hair (and I have flat hair) so my hair loves this😅 HOW TO: -start with brushing your hair -I use heat protectant FOXYBAE - Cool Af Heat Protectant

Some of my favorite hair products!!! SEBASTIAN PROFESSIONAL - Shaper Plus Extra Hold Hairspray SEBASTIAN PROFESSIONAL - Dark Oil SEBASTIAN PROFESSIONAL - Drench Shampoo SEBASTIAN PROFESSIONAL - Drench Conditioner I swear by this company. And everything smells amazing. The shampoo and conditioner make my hair feel great. eufora - Bodifying Shampoo eufora - Bodifying Conditioner On the pricy side, but amazing. 100% worth it. My cosmetologist sells it, so of course I buy it and use it. Keeps my hair healthy. TRESemmé - Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave In Spray I actually really enjoy using this when I curl my hair. Smells so good. OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil Helps with the heat damage. Hair feels super soft after using. 100% saves my hair. FOXYBAE - White Marble Rose Gold Curling Wand FOXYBAE - Cool Af Heat Protectant FOXYBAE - Flaminglow Leave In Conditioner I like this company! Curling wand is super pretty and works great. Although you can’t adjust the temperature which is the only downfall of the curling wand. The heat protectant and leave in conditioner smell amazing and leave my hair feeling soft and fresh.
Foxy Bae’s Heat protectant - Pros and Cons
First and foremost - everyone should always use a heat protectant when using hot tools!!! I am a culprit of not always using them but it is so important to help keep your hair healthy! FOXYBAE - Cool Af Heat Protectant PROS: ✨spray nozzle - it has such an even spray and I love how it works ✨paraben & sulfate free! (Important for colored hair!!) ✨protects my hair from damage ✨shipping speed! You want it? You’ll get in a 2 or less days! CONS: ✨the smell - I’m suuuuuuper into good smelling products and this doesn’t do much for me 😪 And really that’s the only con on this product. Which is a pretty big bummer for me but I will still use it for hair protection that’s for sure!

MY 2020 TOP 5 ✨
I love this prompt from @cherieand was excited to start thinking about some of my favourites from 2020. It was a nice chance to really reflect on the past year, and celebrate my personal self care journey. So here are my favourites! Product - After lots of consideration I decided to choose one of my favourite products for each category of: face, lips and hair! So many great products this year it’s so hard to choose, but I would say for face: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream was my all time favourite discovery, so effective for my specific concerns (sun damage/milia)! The SUMMER FRIDAYS - Lip Butter Balm was my favourite lip product - I was addicted to the smell + really kept my lips hydrated. Plus for the price, you know I wasn’t gunna misplace this bad boy. And lastly, I would almost consider it a full on addiction how much I loved the OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil , seriously this stuff changed my life! Trend - Sustainable packaging, and gorgeous reusable jars were one of my favourite trends. I love this shift towards mindfulness, especially because I often feel like it’s a domino effect where it can start with mindfulness to the environment, than mindfulness of people and surroundings and I believe this is a very important/healthy shift for consumers. My best look - Dark lips, always. Favourite Creators - I couldn’t possibly choose just one, there are so many creators here that are amazing, unique, lovely, smart, creative and genuine - I’m so grateful for this platform! But a few accounts I think you should definitely check out - @heynoonoofor some of the most beautiful makeup looks I’ve ever seen, just absolute works of art! @D.Bennettthis gorgeous human has an amazing page. All encompassing, wonderfully informative and super relatable. @annkrishaAnn’s page is awesome, from Halloween looks to gift guides ... she’s ON it. Not to mention her results posts are super helpful and informative. @Mallory- I love her content, her posts are very relatable and she is just genuinely such a good person! Something I learned - SPF if so important! APPLY - than REAPPLY even in the winter. I really like THANK YOU FARMER - Sun Project Water Sun Cream Hope you enjoyed my top 5 ✨💛
Verbs the word, for hair masking anyway...
I received my December Birchbox (FiNaLlY) on Saturday! Despite the delay, I do remain grateful for the United States Postal Service for I know they are doing their very best with the uptake in holiday deliveries. Anyway, inside my Birchbox was the Verb Ghost Hair Mask and I decided to apply it while I was in the shower today and let it do it's job while I shaved. The smell was delightful, not unlike thier other hair products, if you've ever used them. The scentl was not overpowering; it was light and nice. When it came time to rinse the mask off, it rinsed away easily, like I was rinsing out conditioner. My hair felt nice and smooth. I got out of the shower and blow dried my hair and it looked pretty good but I had plans on pumping up the volume with my heatless curlers (see pics)! I could really tell my hair had been treated because it wanted to slide out of the curlers when usually it sticks in them with no problem. When I was done with the curlers I used my Not Your Mother's She's A Tease Volumizing Hair Spray to set the curlers and proceeded to do my makeup. When I was done with my make up I took my curlers out and combed out my hair to check out the final results of the Verb Ghost Mask and how it affected my hair do... I was happy with the end results (see pic). I wanted a healthier, smoother, head of hair and I'd say the product delivered. For $18 for the full size, it may be worth buying from my hair dresser the next time I go!! VERB - Ghost Hair Mask I give this 5 ⭐because I liked the smell and texture of the product and the ends results it had on my hair. I will be using this again. NOT YOUR MOTHER'S - She's A Tease Volumizing Hairspray I give this 5 ⭐ because this is my second can of this spray and it is great at giving me the volume I need in my hair. It's not too stiff and my hair still moves after spraying it so it still looks natural.
How I deal with my thick, wavy, and frizzy hair
When I was little my hair used to be straight up curly. Over the years as I grew up (and as my emo phase raged on) I heat styled it to death so depending on how long I go without heat styling I have anywhere from curls to waves. Right now with my hair being so short it’s just simple waves. With it being so short in the back as well it makes it a lot easier for me to straighten it then deal with the waves. The first video is my natural waves I woke up with. I washed my hair the night prior and used the Amika Flash Instant Mask in the shower as well as the Chi Silk Infusion after I got out. The Chi Silk Infusion is something I use on my hair when I wash it regardless of length or curl phase it’s going through (it’s usually a lot curlier when it’s longer). It’s a gel/oil consistency that smooths the hair and makes it feel silky soft. Whenever I heat style my hair I always use the IGK - Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Anti-Frizz Smoothing Spray . I usually part my hair into sections, spray all over, and comb through (which you’ve seen me do in past videos). This smells amazing, acts as a heat protectant, and smooths down any excess frizz (which I get a lot of). Then I take my Paul Mitchell flat iron and iron my hair. I do this in three different sections so everything is straightened properly and I don’t have any waves or bumps. Then I take the OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil which I just started using recently. I was surprised with how lightweight this oil was and how it didn’t make my strands feel greasy or weighed down no matter how much I used. It feels silky smooth and I’ve noticed a lot less frizz when I use this product in the ends. This is how I deal with my hair on a normal basis. When it was longer I would usually throw it up in a bun with a head band but with it being so short I can no longer do that. Being shorter with all the smoothing products and heat styling it makes it a lot easier for me to manage throughout the day.

Glossy, Frizz-Free Hair for a Night Out
I have thick, wavy hair that is often a heavy puff of frizz, between my love of baseball caps and my lack of skill in styling. But my husband loves to take me out on dates and my go-to look for date nights is surprisingly easy: silky, glossy hair parted to the side. 1. Prep: I start by including amika: - 3D Volume and Thickening Shampoo and amika: - 3D Volume and Thickening Conditioner in my shower routine! This is my go-to shampoo and conditioner combo- it helps my hair retain movement but doesn’t make it unnecessarily frizzy. 2. Protection: After air-drying, I coat my hair in a thin layer of 2-3 pumps of amika: - Blockade Heat Protectant Serum to protect my hair from heat damage. 3. Separate: I take a moment to separate my thick af hair into three layers with a wide-tooth comb: crown, middle, nape. Crown is pulled into a small ponytail, then middle joins it- I use a clip to hold them up! 4. Straighten: I’m lazy and also clumsy, so I prefer the amika: - Polished Perfection Thermal Straightening Brush 2.0 to traditional stylers. It allows for an even heat distribution and easy experience that makes styling much less daunting for someone who burns themself with flat irons often. After slowly brushing through the lowest layer once, I let down the middle section. Slowly brush through it all again. Then the crown comes down and I brush through it all twice, making sure to begin towards my roots to help heat-tame the usual frizz. I add a twist to the brush whenever I near the ends, to give my hair more shape/movement. 5. Extra Gloss: Because I love hi-shine when I straighten, I rub a quarter-size amount of amika: - Glass Action Hydrating Hair Oil Universal Elixir between my palms and distribute it evenly over my hair, focusing mainly on my ends and the middle shaft of the hair. Done! Weightless shine!

My hair routine
Here is my post shower hair routine! I have dry hair from being bleached and colored, I also have dry scalp and typically wash my hair twice a week. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it so when put together it’s pretty thick. I have a lot of breakage and it creates frizz Product list: MOROCCANOIL - Treatment Light OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil R+Co - Waterfall Moisture + Shine Lotion OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme amika: - The Wizard Detangling Primer I start with a 2 pumps of Moroccan oil mixed with a few drops of the bonding oil. Smoothed with focus on ends. Then a dollop of waterfall moisture cream followed by dollop of the bond smoother. I top off with the wizard detangling primer- this is an oil based product and if not careful if you use too much your hair will look and feel greasy so use sparingly! I also only use this product when I know I’ll be heat styling my hair. I hope you enjoyed seeing my routine! All these products I picked to help smooth frizz, moisturize hair, and strengthen the hair to protect against breakage. Also to protect against heat damage.

HOLY GRAIL DEFINING CURL CREAM‼️
cake - The Curl Friend Defining Curl Cream For reference, I have type 3A curls and thin hair strands. So, I was going to wait for a couple of more uses with this product, but I just HAD to make this post after using it for the first time because WOW I’M SUPER IMPRESSED! I headed out to buy my usual aussie - Miracle Curls with Coconut Oil Paraben Free Detangling Milk Treatment , but they ran out of stock, and that’s when I stumbled upon this cake - The Curl Friend Defining Curl Cream . After long due diligence, I decided to buy it because it’s vegan (no harsh chemicals, parabens and/or sulfates) and it also won an allure’s best of beauty award in 2019. The packaging is beautiful, and, when I opened it after washing my hair, I couldn’t help but notice the lovely and amazing smell that was coming out of this. It’s definitely sweet, but not overwhelming at all. Once I tried it, I noticed that the cream felt so smooth, silky, & lightweight (great for thin hair strands). It has avocado oil, soybean oil, and shea butter in it! It seems like this is definitely the perfect combination (for now) for my hair. I’ve shied away from butter mostly because it can be too heavy for my thin strands, but I guess that having it in smaller quantities works great. My hair is so SHINY, DEFINED, and VOLUMINOUS, and smells like CAKE. I mean, look at it! I can definitely say that this is my NUMBER 1 defining cream. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, please let me know how it feels if you try it. I am definitely going to try more cake products in the near future after finding this holy grail.
aussie-Miracle Curls with Coconut Oil Paraben Free Detangling Milk Treatment
You know, not all balayages need to be low, I freehand painted this one up to her scalp! It gives her such a beautifully blended look. I kept lots of dark pieces in so when it grows out, it’d look natural! This client only comes in twice a year and she always tells me “all my friends this I get my hair done monthly because it grows out so beautifully and blended”. That’s a HUGE thing. Nowadays people don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars every month to take care of their hair, so this is a more affordable way to add some dimension and not break the bank! (Even though I would love to see you more than twice a year, please get regular haircuts so we can grow your hair out) I used a nice violet tone in her hair to give it extra light/icy pieces throughout! Toner doesn’t last forever, but this one is my go to!! Products used: OLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo OLAPLEX - No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme (a true life saver I might add) KEVIN.MURPHY - Body Mass KEVIN.MURPHY - Anti.Gravity Spray KEVIN.MURPHY - Bedroom.Hair KEVIN.MURPHY - Shimmer.Shine KEVIN.MURPHY - Smooth.Again ...yes I use tons of products but your hair feels and smells so amazing afterwards, you won’t want to wash your hair😂
My 3 easy steps for a ( natural blow out )
Hi guys I love doing my hair like with my natural wavy- ish hair I have discovered my hair has been having its own natural wave and not natural super straight hair like it used to be so this is how I love to style it without too much heat on my hair and how to tame it , This is my 3 easy steps of my blow out routine it’s simple easy and healthy with my SheaMoisture - Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Multi-Action Leave-In another leave in conditioner I love to use but this one actually protects your hair and not just leaving it soft and shiny but also restores, preps and protects extremely dry , brittle hair It’s has manuka honey and yogurt for a nice hydrate and smooth shine .... it’s smells like coconut 🥥 This product is great for all types of hair and fun way to prep your hair for a blow out I also didn’t add this but I did mention before I love to tame those fly - ways with TRESemmé - Keratin Smooth Keratin Infusing Smoothing Serum so this is optional but this time I only added the leave- in conditioner and it actually did tame my hair without using another product :) #cheriepartner
