SIMPLE MICELLAR GEL WASH IS A DUPE!!
Been into skincare for awhile, I love the youth for people kale cleanser but I found a more affordable option! The simple micellar gel wash! Foams the same as YFP and has no fragrance! Perfect to anyone with sensitive skin! I have dry skin and it cleans so good without stripping my skin of moisture. Very good at removing makeup as well! A very “simple” cleanser at an affordable price! I was able to find this cleanser at Frys!! I know crazy! They don’t care it at cvs or any drugstore!
cherieThanks for sharing your first Cherie beauty post. Excited to see your beauty stories to come!
A quick review of it: 🔅This set contains the Bi-Phase Caring Cleanser & Make up remover and the Aromna Cleanse cleansing milk. 🔅I personally like the Bi-Phase Caring Cleanser & Make up remover because it does remove my make up and everything very gently but it’s cons are that it’s so watery, you need a lot of product to really clean everything. 🔅The Aroma Cleanse Cleansing Milk is a big no no for me, it has fragrance and breaks me out sometimes. The instruction is also wierd since it says that it doesn’t need to be washed off and just needs wiping off by a cotton pad. I just feel that it’s not clean enough to leave both the oil and the milk onto my skin. But maybe that’s just me?
Cleanse the Day Away with Lilah B ☁️
The Lilah Beauty Aglow Cleansing butter is soooo buttery smooth. It honestly looks like cotton candy! I love the soft scent and how gently and effectively it removes my face makeup. It doesn’t leave a film on my skin or make it feel parched. The essential oils do sting my eyes, so I stray from using it for eye makeup. It contains lavender essential oil which not only will irritate your eyes but can break you out if you have sensitive or are acne prone. lilah b. - Aglow Cleansing Butter

🍍One Love Organics Botanical B Cleansing Oil 🍍
ONE LOVE ORGANICS - Vitamin B Enzyme Cleansing Oil + Makeup Remover After striking out with the Meow Meow Tweet Lemon Rose Cleansing Oil (rookie move on my part- the second ingredient is coconut oil 😑) I wanted to find a good cleansing oil to use for double cleansing at night. I wanted to find something that was not only packaged in glass, but also had other ingredients besides oil in it that would allow for it to wipe clean with little to no residue left on my skin. I have oily, acne prone skin so oily residue is a dealbreaker. I decided to go with One Love Organics Botanical B Enzyme Cleansing Oil- a mouthful, but I really do like this stuff. The scent is a strong natural Pineapple, which I didn’t mind but might be a turn off for some. It took off my foundation and eye makeup well, and did slightly sting my eyes if I left it on for too long, but the stinging went away after I rinsed it off. Overall I really like this I product, but I do wish it came in a larger size or a bulk refill like Meow Meow Tweet do with theirs. I like to pair this with my small sea wool sponge from Marley’s Monsters, and my skin feels soft and clean, with no residue left. BUT at $42 for 4 ounces (and $5 for shipping) this stuff isn’t cheap. Hoping I can stretch this bottle out so it’ll last me awhile. Taking into account the price of the product and cost for shipping, as well as the strong fragrance and slight eye stinging, I give it 3/5 ⭐️

A Cleanser That’s Actually Good For Your Skin
Holifrog just made its debut with 4 new cleansers, each designed for different face washing moments (morning, nighttime, after the gym etc), and I got to try their Superior Omega Nutritive Gel Wash. So far so good! Its formulated with probiotics, omega fatty acids and vitamins to feed the skin and keep it from drying out. Can’t wait to keep trying it out!
SKINFOOD - Black Sugar Perfect Cleansing Oil
This is a cleansing oil. Exactly as named, no hidden agenda, looks and feels exactly as any other cleansing oil might. Has a slight sweet smell. I have been using this product for about a year, I first purchased via a deal on Amazon. I don’t use this cleanser everyday - I save it for the days that I wear a full face of makeup and I use as the first step in my double or triple cleanse process. It is great at getting heavy makeup off, especially eyeliner or heavy eyeshadow. It is my go to makeup remover. I also use it to quickly get the makeup off of my brushes after use. The ticket on this product is a little high IMO, ranging from around $13-$17. The only reason why I don’t mind is because this pricing is for a 200 ml bottle, and it will last quite a while, in all honesty. SKINFOOD - Black Sugar Perfect Cleansing Oil

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
