It’s Just....Eyeliner. 🙄

A part of me was actually REALLY excited to have one of Makeup By Mario’s products. I didn’t realize that it wasn’t really worth it until I counted how many weeks it’s been sitting on my desk. But I did try it about three-four times! There were good things and bad but I couldn’t get over the fact that it was so easy to find a similar product and formulation on the market. I was looking for an eyeliner that didn’t drag on the teeny weeny parts of my eye. There are only two colors that come in the pencil liner, black and brown So here’s the breakdown- 1. Formulation The formulation is much creamer than some eyeliners. The texture is similar to NARS - High-Pigment Longwear Eyelinerand from the looks of the ingredients there are several emollients(ex: Isododecane), waxes(Ex: Carnuba Wax), and stabilizers that ensure the formula doesn’t separate. Emollients help lubricate the skins surface and provide a soft/smooth appearance and feel to the product. Waxes help give product more form and are often used in cosmetics to give the product more thermal stability. This is good if you live in a hot climate, because it prevents the product from melting easily. It’s a classic formulation overall with a couple tweaks in ingredients to give you more blendability. 2. Performance The eyeliner is great on its own if you’ve never tried a pencil liner before. There was typically less skipping the first time I put it on. However, I did find it more difficult to glide onto my eyeshape when I have powder eyeshadow on. I feel like because the formula gets in contact with a powder, some of the emollient features disappear and you aren’t able to blend it into the eye as nicely. It was difficult to get a clean line on the highest points of my eye. When it’s on, it did last over 6 hours of wear in a dry climate. Those of you who have smaller-set eyes like mine, you may end up sharpening the pencil more often than others in order to get a small crisp wing. One of the highlighted features to the pencil was the brush. Looking at it now I’ve never not wanted to roll my eyes so hard to the back of my head. 😆 It’s merely there for convenience and I find that the bristles are way too long and flimsy to really get into the nooks and crannies of the eye to create a perfect smudge. It’s also not the best choice to have on a product when it comes to being eco-friendly. When you swatch it in the hand, it feels amazing. However, your hand is a flat surface with fairly tight skin and the eye area is more delicate. Therefore, you may not get the same result on the eye. I had to lift and shift some of the skin on my eye to get a clean line, which can be annoying if you’re in a pinch. 3. Final Verdict It’s a brown liner. You can literally get the same thing from FENTY BEAUTY - Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner
or 3CE - Super Slim Waterproof Eyeliner
3CE Liners are awesome and go for 13 dollars! Overall, you can skip this

Sunday = NFL Makeup!
Another Sunday, another Bengals tie (which may as well be a loss), and another NFL inspired makeup look. Y’all seemed to enjoy the last look, so I’m here to share again! I’m a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan, so I had two colors to play with today: orange and black! TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer Primed with my brand new trial-size Tatcha primer. No shock—it’s amazing... but I can’t justify the heft price tag! Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer As usual, a glam look isn’t a truly-glam look without my favorite concealer! 🥰 My dark circles were semi-manageable today, so only needed a little! Shade: Snow. e.l.f. - Retro Paradise Eyeshadow Palette The orange hues in this palette truly are amazing. Again, four stars because of fallout—so make sure you tap that brush, y’all! Colors: Fuego, Caliente, Nightlife, Sea Salt (inner corners, brow bone) Fortuna (sparkle on the lid). HAUS LABORATORIES - Glam Attack Liquid Eyeshadow When it comes to liquid eyeshadows, Lady Gaga got it right. Glam Attack shadows come in lots of beautiful colors, from neutrals to intense blacks. My eyeliner is accented with my favorite shade: Chained Ballerina. Gorgeous finish with a subtle sparkle. (Note: it dries down fast, so blend quickly!) NARS - High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner Got this baby as a free gift from Sephora the other day, and man... by far my new favorite liner for tight-lining! Such a smooth application, and it doesn’t budge! LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Mascara Another freebie. This one at Ulta. I already own the waterproof variation of this 💣 mascara, but I went with the regular formula today. If you need a mascara that gives you lots of drama, this is the one you need! EYLURE - ProMagnetic Magnetic Eyeliner & Lash System Finally... these lashes are 🔥, and application is easy-peasy. Three layers of the black magnetic liner on the lash line (let each layer dry thoroughly!!), pop em on, and you’re done. These beauties are so lightweight, I don’t even know I’m wearing them. First time trying this brand... and it will not be the last! My face is all done with Scott Barnes face palettes. Post on his products coming soon, but here’s the list: scott barnes - Chic Cheek N°1 Blush Palette scott barnes - Sculpting and Contour N°1 Palette scott barnes - Glowy & Showy N°1 Highlighter Palette And there ya go. My Cincinnati Bengals glam look for the week. 😉 Let me know if you give it a try! 🏈

FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO DO A SMOKED WING 😍
I’ve always wanted to do a soft smoked wing but I found that every time I blended/smudged, I would accidentally overblend or it just ends up looking messy. Here are a couple tips I created to give me the most success for my eyeshape! 1. Have a Q tip and a makeup remover balm ready! These two items aren’t just going to be used for cleaning up the mess. It is actually going to help you create the thinnest, crisp line you’ll ever see! Keep in mind this method will only work if you want your eyeliner to be placed exactly like it is in the pictures! Make sure you don’t put any foundation on when you’re doing this or else you’re going to have a line of bare skin showing. Steps: START WITH ONE EYE FIRST. Do your eyeliner as usual using a creamy eye pencil stay as close to the lash line as possible. You want a formula that gives you time to “play” but also set after a couple seconds to a minute. Then you’re going to use a smudging brush like the SIGMA - E21 Smudge Brush and smudge your liner out to your liking, especially the wing. Be sure to check your work every so often. Don’t worry if it gets chubby at the end, we’ll fix that and make it sharp again! Take your Q tip and take a small amount of your makeup remover and rub it into the Q tip. Be sure to not saturate it. You still want some dryness to it for control purposes. Align the end of the Q tip with the makeup remover at an angle. It should align in the same direction/angle as your wing but not directly on top of it. You’re not trying to erase the whole wing, but you are redefining it. Start at the end of the outer-corner of your eye near your lower lash line and wipe in the same direction of your wing. If you did it right, you should have a clean and crisp line that dragged itself out to make your liner appear longer and thinner. Wipe off the makeup remover residue by using the other side of the Q tip with a bit of water. Adjust as needed by applying more product or more cleanup. 2. The product you use matters! I start with a cream pencil liner and smoke it out. Once I use the Q tip method, I go back and use an eyeshadow powder similar to the color of my liner to creat more depth or smokiness.in the areas needed. If you use a liner that sets right away, you will have a hard time smudging it out! For this look I used 3CE - Super Slim Waterproof Eyeliner in cinnamon. . For the rest of the look I used: MELT COSMETICS - Impulsive Pressed Pigment Palette Viola! Hope this tip/hack helps you! I’m thinking of creating a video version of this so I can walk you guys through it. I know there a lot of written steps. Let me know if that may be better for you guys! 😃☺️❤️

Smudging/Smoky Waterline Eyeliner Tips and Tools
There were many times where I would avoid putting eyeliner on my waterline, because I felt like it didn’t suit the shape of my eye. Recently, I started to explore more and MAN I changed my mind after applying a smoky effect to it. Let’s help you achieve a smoky waterline! 1. Applying Eyeliner Choose your eyeliner. A creamy eyeliner that takes a couple of seconds to set by itself later on is preferable. Line your waterline (the part of the skin that is close to your eyeball. Here are my favorites in black: FENTY BEAUTY - Flypencil Longwear Pencil Eyeliner PAT McGRATH LABS - Permagel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil 3CE - Super Slim Waterproof Eyeliner 2. Use A Good Brush and Powder to Smudge A proper tool and a well pigmented eyeshadow will help you achieve the best results. I use a micro-sized pencil brush or smudging brush like these: MORPHE - M515 Detail Crease SIGMA - E21 Smudge Brush And I also use ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette in the shade Noir(Black) Take your brush and apply a small amount of shadow onto the areas where you placed your eyeliner. Begin applying it with back and forth motions or circular motions. The idea is to increase the width of your eyeliner without creating harsh lines. The eyeshadow and blending will help you with two things: Set your eyeliner in place Diffuse the color outwards from your eye, thus creating more depth Slowly build up the color to your liking. 3. Reapply if needed. As you start blending, you may notice some pigment comes off the waterline. This is normal. Just reapply your eyeliner again and you should be good to go! TIPS: Have some MAC - MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Finishing Mist on hand in case everything sets and it seems like it’s not budging anywhere. Spray some on your brush and tap it into the areas that need fixing and begin blending afterwards. It should be moveable again. BE LIGHT-HANDED. It’s easier to apply more product than to take away. Happy Smudging! Remember practice makes perfect! ❤️

Girlactik eyeliner 💫
Girlactik eyeliner 💫
girlactik - Precise Marker Liner I’m normally pretty bad at applying eyeliner but I’ve been practicing since there’s not much else to do. I got this eyeliner in an Ipsy bag as a gift 🎁 Here are some things I liked 💖 Sharp pen point highly pigmented doesn’t fade and keeps its shape without smudging easy to apply and get a good point on it Here are some things I didn’t like 💔 when I had to fix a mistake I feel like it was so hard to remove! Had to rub hard on it and it moved the color around so there was black smudging! ( only smudges if you rub really hard with makeup remover! Obviously this is going to happen!) Apart from that I thought it was a really good liner and easy to use. My first time trying this brand and I’ve had the liner for quite some time now ( 2 months) and it hasn’t dried out yet. I would repurchase this & also try some other stuff from their brand ☺️

STEP UP THE BASIC LINER LOOK👀💕
STEP UP THE BASIC LINER LOOK👀💕
during anytime of the year, I love changing up my simple natural look to something a little more fun and the simplest way to add colour without going overboard is by changing the colour of your winged liner!✨ This is one of my all time favourite looks, whether I’m out during the day or out at night, this is the perfect way to tie in your outfit with your makeup without being matchy matchy 😛 STEPS lets prime your lids, jn using the URBAN DECAY - Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion this is nothing crazy, but it gets the job done next I like using a bronzer for my crease, so here I’m using the FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer which is one of my favourite bronzers ever & the VESCA - Soft-Matte Bronzing Powder Kissed By which another amazing addition. I just use a fluffy brush to brush both shades into my crease (no need to be neat, just want a wash of colour) to create the liner, I start with a pencil liner and I’m using the NYX - Always Keepin' It Tight Eyeliner and I have a deep navy/turquoise shade and I just creates a simple thin wing I then set the wing with a bright blue shadow, I’m using L'ORÉAL - HiP High Intensity Pigments Bright Shadow Duo i use the shade roaring and the bright blue shade on an angled brush to pack and tap the product to set the liner👍🏽 this helps keep the liner in place & brighten the colour as well! finally add mascara, my HG is the MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Mascara Full Fan Effect and I just curl my lashes and apply 1-2 coats of this! highlight those inner corners since the liner is matte just to add some glow during the summer months ⚡️ I used a shade from the e.l.f. - Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette to highlight my inner corners and brow bone and voila🤗 That’s the completed look! Finish off with a glossy nude lip and you are good to go 🧡☺️ #cheriepartner

Subversive Red Eye with Lipgloss! Do you like it?
Subversive Red Eye with Lipgloss! Do you like it?
Like black lipstick, red eyes look kind of subversive, doesn't it? Red is supposed to go on the lips and black is supposed to go on the eyes, so if you swap the two it's a total mindfuck! Now, I didn't go for black lips today, but I really love how this first try at doing red eye make up. I did a makeshift job at it because I actually haven't bought red eyeshadow in AGES, so what you see here on my eyes is a mix of pink powders, burgundy lipgloss, kohl pencil and a glittery highlighter. What I did: -dark red lipgloss all over the eyelid, which also is functioning as a primer to make the colour more intense. -medium pink in the inner corners, some of the leftover burgundy eyeshadow in the outer corners, highlighter all over the eyelid and kohl in the outer corners, blended upwards into the crease. Let me know what you think of the look!

Glamour mask make up for green eyes 💚
Glamour mask make up for green eyes 💚
So working full time hours in a retail store I’m in a mask 8 or 9 hours a day during my shift. Because of this I really like to play up my eyes but still keep them a little on the glam side since I can’t pair the look with a lipstick. I’ve also really been loving keeping my brows more natural looking to soften up the look as a whole since you can only see half my face. For this look I used the MORPHE - 18B Makin' Bank Artistry Palette which I think is completely worth it if you like green eyeshadows (very much so like myself). For a Morphe palette these are all very pigmented, buttery, and blendable. I used the shade Deposits on the lid, Check Please (which is by far the best crease color I’ve ever found), C-Note in the crease, and Stacks on the outer lid. With the shade Deposit I like taking it on the inner portion of the lid but bringing it above the crease to open up the lid and give it that glamour look. I also took KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Metal Crush Eyeshadow in the shade Thunderstruck over the Deposit to give it a little sparkle. A new productive I discovered recently as well is the new benefit - Brow Microfilling Eyebrow Pen which I think is fabulous! I showed a swatch of it in the shade Dark Brown and time be honest it’s really light but I like it because it creates beautiful lines in the brows that give them a more natural look then you can with a pomade. It’s really easy to use and with it being a less opaque formula there is a lot of room for error. Lately I’ve been brushing benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel all through my brows and then taking the new pencil and brushing that through the beginning and arch to fill in the sparse spots I have. An eye focused look isn’t complete without a wing. I usually do a larger wing with the Too Faced - Better Than Sex Easy Glide Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner which is perfect for any winged liner fan! The brush tip makes it so easy to create a flawless wing. I have oily, hooded eyelids and this stuff stays on all day until I’m ready to take it off. It doesn’t crease at all. Then I pair it off with my trusty benefit - Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara and it’s the perfect glamour look to play up the eyes when half your face is covered in a mask 🖤 #CheriePartner

baddie lashes made me that bxtch
baddie lashes made me that bxtch
if you follow my instagram, you may have seen that every day for the last few months i’ve worn the lashes bxtch from baddie lash and i have no regrets. i don’t think i can make a pros and cons list for these because there aren’t any cons, all i can think of is the fact that they aren’t restocked often enough for me to buy another pair!! they’re fluffy and extra as hell but they don’t look plastic and fake. perfect volume without being heavy on the eyes. the band isn’t thick and blends in nicely on the lash line. super affordable (i got mine for about $14 on sale?) supports a local NZ brand run by women! i’ve tried a couple of their other lash styles and they’re all fine and dandy but nothing has compared to the beautiful bxtch. wholeheartedly recommend if you can catch them when they’re restocked #baddielash - Bxtch - Lashes[products]#[FiveStars]

holographic glitter tutorial ✨🌌
holographic glitter tutorial ✨🌌
hello everyone! here is a holographic glitter tutorial featuring the nyx glitter brilliants! this look is so enchanting and iridescent ✨✨ let me know what you think and dont forget to follow and share! for the brown eyeshadow, i used MORPHE - 35O3 Fierce By Nature Artistry Palette whats cool about this rainbow and silver glitter is that you can actually use any color with it, but i think it pops out the most with neutral tones! another color may be too distracting ✨ for the glitter glue, i used NYX - Glitter Primer this primer is really great for loose, pressed, and glitter gels, as it helps hold the product to the eye amd prevent fallout! a little goes a long way❤️ for the actual glitter, i used NYX - NYX Metallic Glitter in the shade “star”. this glitter is magical! and paired with the primer it has very little fallout! it is literally rainbow in real life! the mascara is L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara as always. i used to rate it four stars, but its taken a place in my heart, as ive neber found another mascara i like quite as much❤️
