I LOVE THIS POP OF COLOR đ€Ż I never thought blue would complement a pink smoky eye! I guess it would make sense because both colors are on the cool-tones spectrum!
Yay for experimenting! Cheers to new eye looks!

2020 TOP 5 đ„°
Hey Cherie Fam đ
I hope youâre all having a good day. I canât believe 2020 is over in a few days! This year has been the wildest roller coaster.
My top 5 for 2020 are:
1ïžâŁ PRODUCT âš
âąThis is a bit hard, but I guess I have to choose one. I would say I canât live without my Drunk Elephant C-Firma and Framboos, but Iâve been loving those products since 2019. A new product I added to my skin care routine this year is Paulaâs Choice BHA exfoliator. This was recommended by a friend and swore it made his pores disappear. I bit the bullet and Iâm so glad I did. It made my pores much smaller and my skin more glowy
PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator
2ïžâŁ TREND âš
âąMy favorite trend this year is niacinamide. Niacinamide reduces inflammation which may help ease redness from eczema, acne, and other inflammatory skin conditions. It also helps build keratin, a type of protein that keeps your skin firm and healthy. My sunscreen, which is Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40has niacinamide and so does my cleanser. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser
I decided to purchase Paulaâs Choice niacinamide booster and I have no regrets
3ïžâŁ MY BEST LOOK âš
âą I love colors and exploring, but I think my best look is a soft glam smokey eye. I used my Natasha Denona Glam palette here đ„°
4ïžâŁ FAVORITE CREATOR ON CHERIE âš
âą I have a couple. I love @emily_because we seem to be interested in the same make up style and same make up products. Too bad she doesnât post here anymore đą come backkk!
âą I love @@Jillianb1because she is also very talented and I love her content
âą I also love @madisonnoonsbecause her content is versatile. She also posts about makeup and lifestyle.
âą I have so many more such as @bealizbeauty@Malloryand@D.Bennettthereâs a lot of great creators on this platform and Iâm glad I get to see so many talented people
5ïžâŁ SOMETHING I LEARNED
âą Not beauty related, but something I learned is to cherish every moment and appreciate every little thing. I travel quite often and had so many travel plans for 2020. When the shelter in place hit, I was shattered because I cant travel and let alone go get brunch or bar hop with my friends. Even working from home is a bit disappointing because I am an extrovert and thrive off being social. However, I re-discovered my love for make up. Therefore, I was able to create looks and share it on this platform. I am able to spend time with family often and built a better bond and relationship with them. I live about an hour away from them and barely saw them so Iâm thankful this gave me the opportunity to spend more time with them

Are These 26$ Lashes Worth it?
Recently I went to Ulta and picked out some quality lashes with the intent that I could get at least 30 wears out of a single pair. I typically get the 5 pack of the ARDELL - Cluster Wispies Demi Wispies and I usually get 2 wears out of each pair- so 10 wears total for around 12$ ($1.20/wear)
I picked up the BLINKING BEAUTĂ - Faux Mink Luxe Innovative Lashes for 26$. They have a cotton band that is extremely flexible which makes application so easy! Theyâre also light in weight and donât give your eye lids that annoying heavy feeling. These are said to give you around 30 wears which would come out to around $0.87/wear. So cheap!! These are 1000% worth the cost, even if I only get 20 wears. I think Iâve officially converted to higher end lashes and will definitely be giving some other brands a try!!
**these are the âBrillâ lashes and they would be perfect for people with smaller eyes- theyâre also great for a more natural look since theyâre not overwhelmingly long and just provide some volume at the base of the lashes.
What are your favorite high end lashes??
Eye Look Details
NATASHA DENONA - Glam Eyeshadow Palette
essence - Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara (lately Iâve been feeling like this formula has changed, it gets much more clumpy/thick on my lashes than in the past)

Sorbet Eyeshadow + Perky Natural Mascara Tips đ
I never knew I would love a minty green with an almost creamy orange shade!
This look was so fun to do because I got to test and challenge my eyeshadow mixing capabilities! Not all shades mix well together, so this turned out awesome!
I used VISEART - Grande Pro 3 for this look!
Also, for those of you who have thin straight lashes, I highly recommended using Japanese based mascara brands for that perfect your lash-but-better look! I did use one called DUP Fiber Mascara for this photo. Japanese mascaras are typically known for having two types of formulations- âtubingâ and ânon-tubingâ mascaras. Tubing-type formulations are great because it automatically provides a water/sebum resistant barrier around your lashes. This formulation makes sense for the marketed demographics, because in Japan the weather is more moist/humid. Therefore, for a formula to be successful, it has to withstand the weather conditions where the target market lies. Yay for no smudging/flaking! Itâs a lightweight formula which is perfect for keeping those stubborn, straight lashes up and perky! Every time I use it, I donât end up with a clumpy mess and my lashes arenât brittle and dry from prolonged use! Iâve tested it out for 3+ months and have no complaints so far!

Feeling like a Euphoric Hippie đ + Tips
It took me....2 hours to come up with something and this was the result! đ
I wanted to go for something soft, charming, but still has that pop of something. I love how the white eye show pops off this cool toned, purple-brown.
Halloween is around the corner, so I thought it would be a great idea to give you all a couple tips if you want to incorporate something similar into your look.
Here are a couple tips on gluing on those gold flecks!
1. LAAAAASH GLUE
This is literally the EASIEST thing You could use for your application. I find lash glue much better on the skin for these guys than just regular Elmerâs glue/glue sticks. Gold flecks are typically very flimsy and it can be difficult to really get them to stay on your face. Take your lash glue and apply a needle-sized amount to your face. Take a tweezer and break up a couple gold flecks into various sized pieces. Proceed to use your tweezer to place it on top of the spot you glued. Be gentle with your application. The gold flecks are really fragile!
2. Watch Your Placement
With larger, shinier particles, theyâll attract the attention of the eye to that area. Think of using these guys as you would with regular highlighter. The more you put in one area, the more your eye will gravitate towards looking at that spot. I placed the gold flecks around my eye area and super close to my nose, because itâll take away the natural contours of my nose. In other words, youâre playing with shadows and lights when using gold flecks, crystals, etc.
3. Wash it all off with an Oil/Balm Based Makeup Remover.
Once those gold flecks are on with some lash glue...THEY LAST FOREVER throughout the day. Use an oil based cleanser to remove everything and you should be fine. I use TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser
For this look I used:
ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Norvina Eyeshadow Palette
KINNO - Imitation Gold Leaf Schabin Flakes

How to Get More Use Out of Your Bright Colorsđ
HELLOOOOOOO! I had a much needed mini break yesterday so there was no post BUT TODAY...
I wanted to share some awesome tips since for most of us itâs fall/winter season and many of our bright colors are hibernating until spring!
If youâre a person who typically says no to bright pinks, oranges, neon greens, etc. in the fall/winter season or donât know what to do with them, hereâs how you can utilize those colors to benefit your look/wardrobe! I set an example in this photograph of a very wearable but bright makeup look. Hereâs how I got it to look âput togetherâ without needed to add a boatload of other colors or create a high contrast. By exploring these techniques you can get a softer look but still stay in the same color spectrum
1. Play with the tones of the shade and apply it to different areas of the face!
It can be difficult to use multiple shades of the same color spectrum on the face because things can turn messy/muddy very quickly. You might even look sunburnt if youâre using pinks. This can be due to the fact that some colors have the same undertone that creates the final product. Your skintone also plays a role in how the final results will look. The easiest thing you can do is play with these undertones. Have some fun with shades that can be cool or warm in undertone. You can balance out the face by having some cool tones in certain areas and warm in others. This way you wonât look âsicklyâ, âcrazyâ, or sunburntâ at the end of everything. In photo 2, you can see towards my eye area that itâs slightly âwarmerâ than the makeup on the rest of my face, specifically my upper lid area. The shade I created was a mixture of the color âWildâ and âDelicateâ from Violet Voss - Sakura Blossom Eyeshadow and Pressed Pigment Palette , which are both warm in color/undertone. Next, I added a light cool-toned pink on my lower lid. I wanted the eyes and cheeks to capture most of the attention. Therefore, adding the cool-toned pink helped add dimension without taking away the focal points of the upper lid and cheeks. The idea is to have a sense of balance.
2. Play with Textures!
If you have a ton of shades that have bright colored sparkles/shimmers and donât know what to do with them, use them here! Imagine this being your wardrobe. You can enhance certain patterns in a blouse or t shirt with another pattern. This concept is the same for eyeshadows/face makeup. The micro-particles can really rejuvenate your makeup and enhance the look to create dimension. Imagine have a full face of the same color of bright matte pink. There might not be that UMPH you see in your typical editorials/makeup photos. By adding some highlights and other textures, it will give your eyes something to look at! Use shimmers that may have a similar color profile if you want a unified look.

Hippie Halloween Makeup on Bestie đ„ł
This year I didnât dress up as anything. BUT.
I had a lot of fun doing makeup on my best friend whoâs going to dress up as a Hippie!
I love the blue under eye for this look. It really pulls everything together! Close ups are in photo 2 & 3! Photos were taken outside in natural light along with a ring light with my phone đ
For her face and skin, she has combination skin with an oily T-Zone. The other areas of her face are dry. The foundation we used is a medium coverage and is great for those who donât have apparent redness on the face.

VISEART - Grande Pro 3
For accessories:
KINNO - Imitation Gold Leaf Schabin Flakes
And Dollar Store Stickers
For the face:
N°7 - Stay Perfect Foundation SPF 15 and a mixture of color that I used to adjust to her skin color

I thought I would share a clear photo of what is my Go-to routine for daily makeup đ
Believe it or not, I actually prefer not to put on foundation if Iâm out and about. I LOVE just going out with a little concealer, some lashes, eyeshadow, and lipstick. I donât put on foundation because love my cheeks because theyâre naturally rosy. I also really appreciate the dimensions of my face.
I thought I would show this photo because
1. I love how my eyeshadow looks. Itâs hard to sometimes get my camera to show the eyeshadow colors for what they truly are. This eyelook is amazingly soft and wearable with some awesome dimension.
2. I want to normalize ânice photos with blemishesâ. It never really occurred to me that some people really get down on themselves when they take a good photo and become discouraged when they see one or two blemishes. I feel like if I can show that I can embrace mine, it can help others embrace theirs đ

This is my very first post and I have no idea what to write. Basically my name is Kayla and Iâm 25 years old and I love makeup & skincare. Iâm very picky when it comes to what I consider my holy grail products, but I love trying new things and sharing my thoughts and opinions! My favourite new products to try are foundations. I am THE MOST PICKY with foundations (as in I only have one in my collection currently) but I absolutely love trying new ones.
Iâm also extremely insecure and self conscious about taking selfies so đŹđŹ also please donât mind my eyebrows I canât get them THREADED RIGHT NOW.
ANYWAYS, thatâs all I have for now, take care and stay safe!! đ

Honey Tones With Urban Decay
Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Foundation
Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation is fantastic for my skin. Itâs light to medium coverage matt finish foundation with a reflective pigment. My shade is 61NN, making it easy to look natural, moisturizing for all skin types and vegan.
No nasties in this foundation, no parabens, and no palm oil - the foundation has a silk liquid feel, glides on smoothly, and stays in place throughout the day. Fifty shades to choose from, you can guarantee a match to your skin color.
Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette
I love this palette because of the shade range. Itâs the best palette Urban Decay has ever created. The texture is good, heavily pigmented creamier, and easy to apply - such a long-lasting formula with no fallout.
Just like it says, twelve golden honey shades, three different textures just like the spotlight palette, creamy, silky mattes, smooth shimmers, and sparkly metallic eye shadows.
To create this look, I used Keeper all over the lid and under the lashes and then a mixture of Hive and Drip on the outer edge and in the socket of my eye, and I finished with Sting in the teardrop of my eye.
For an interview or casual day look, I love the Naked Honey Palette. To go a bit more hardcore, I might add some pink shades from my other palette from Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette.

Late night makeup .. âš
I always always use my favorite foundation from IL MAKIAGE in shade 035 along with Maybellineâs Fit Me loose finishing powder.
For my eyes, I used a pink shade called âCarbernetâ in a palette called âAfter Hoursâ by Bad Habit Cosmetics. Itâs a pretty pigmented color just with a couple of fallout. I stepped out of my zone and dug my brush into a black color which I never do.
Iâm always scared of blending black with any color that I do because I can mess up so easily. But it turned out okay and I was proud of my blending lol. I used my all time favorite matte lipstick from HudaBeauty in the shade of âPay Day.â
