How to Get More Use Out of Your Bright Colors💕

HELLOOOOOOO! I had a much needed mini break yesterday so there was no post BUT TODAY... I wanted to share some awesome tips since for most of us it’s fall/winter season and many of our bright colors are hibernating until spring! If you’re a person who typically says no to bright pinks, oranges, neon greens, etc. in the fall/winter season or don’t know what to do with them, here’s how you can utilize those colors to benefit your look/wardrobe! I set an example in this photograph of a very wearable but bright makeup look. Here’s how I got it to look “put together” without needed to add a boatload of other colors or create a high contrast. By exploring these techniques you can get a softer look but still stay in the same color spectrum 1. Play with the tones of the shade and apply it to different areas of the face! It can be difficult to use multiple shades of the same color spectrum on the face because things can turn messy/muddy very quickly. You might even look sunburnt if you’re using pinks. This can be due to the fact that some colors have the same undertone that creates the final product. Your skintone also plays a role in how the final results will look. The easiest thing you can do is play with these undertones. Have some fun with shades that can be cool or warm in undertone. You can balance out the face by having some cool tones in certain areas and warm in others. This way you won’t look “sickly”, “crazy”, or sunburnt” at the end of everything. In photo 2, you can see towards my eye area that it’s slightly “warmer” than the makeup on the rest of my face, specifically my upper lid area. The shade I created was a mixture of the color “Wild” and “Delicate” from Violet Voss - Sakura Blossom Eyeshadow and Pressed Pigment Palette
, which are both warm in color/undertone. Next, I added a light cool-toned pink on my lower lid. I wanted the eyes and cheeks to capture most of the attention. Therefore, adding the cool-toned pink helped add dimension without taking away the focal points of the upper lid and cheeks. The idea is to have a sense of balance. 2. Play with Textures! If you have a ton of shades that have bright colored sparkles/shimmers and don’t know what to do with them, use them here! Imagine this being your wardrobe. You can enhance certain patterns in a blouse or t shirt with another pattern. This concept is the same for eyeshadows/face makeup. The micro-particles can really rejuvenate your makeup and enhance the look to create dimension. Imagine have a full face of the same color of bright matte pink. There might not be that UMPH you see in your typical editorials/makeup photos. By adding some highlights and other textures, it will give your eyes something to look at! Use shimmers that may have a similar color profile if you want a unified look. Other Products Used: WAYNE GOSS - The Weightless Veil Blush Palette

Hippie Halloween Makeup on Bestie 🥳
This year I didn’t dress up as anything. BUT. I had a lot of fun doing makeup on my best friend who’s going to dress up as a Hippie! I love the blue under eye for this look. It really pulls everything together! Close ups are in photo 2 & 3! Photos were taken outside in natural light along with a ring light with my phone 😊 For her face and skin, she has combination skin with an oily T-Zone. The other areas of her face are dry. The foundation we used is a medium coverage and is great for those who don’t have apparent redness on the face. For the eyeshadow I used: VISEART - Grande Pro 3 For accessories: KINNO - Imitation Gold Leaf Schabin Flakes And Dollar Store Stickers For the face: N°7 - Stay Perfect Foundation SPF 15 and a mixture of color that I used to adjust to her skin color WAYNE GOSS - The Weightless Veil Blush Palette in coral rose NYX - Can't Stop Won't Stop Setting Powder clé de peau BEAUTÉ - clé de peau BEAUTÉ Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 25 PEACH & LILY - Skin Shield Blurring Primer

Feeling like a Euphoric Hippie 😆 + Tips
It took me....2 hours to come up with something and this was the result! 😆 I wanted to go for something soft, charming, but still has that pop of something. I love how the white eye show pops off this cool toned, purple-brown. Halloween is around the corner, so I thought it would be a great idea to give you all a couple tips if you want to incorporate something similar into your look. Here are a couple tips on gluing on those gold flecks! 1. LAAAAASH GLUE This is literally the EASIEST thing You could use for your application. I find lash glue much better on the skin for these guys than just regular Elmer’s glue/glue sticks. Gold flecks are typically very flimsy and it can be difficult to really get them to stay on your face. Take your lash glue and apply a needle-sized amount to your face. Take a tweezer and break up a couple gold flecks into various sized pieces. Proceed to use your tweezer to place it on top of the spot you glued. Be gentle with your application. The gold flecks are really fragile! 2. Watch Your Placement With larger, shinier particles, they’ll attract the attention of the eye to that area. Think of using these guys as you would with regular highlighter. The more you put in one area, the more your eye will gravitate towards looking at that spot. I placed the gold flecks around my eye area and super close to my nose, because it’ll take away the natural contours of my nose. In other words, you’re playing with shadows and lights when using gold flecks, crystals, etc. 3. Wash it all off with an Oil/Balm Based Makeup Remover. Once those gold flecks are on with some lash glue...THEY LAST FOREVER throughout the day. Use an oil based cleanser to remove everything and you should be fine. I use TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser For this look I used: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Norvina Eyeshadow Palette KINNO - Imitation Gold Leaf Schabin Flakes LASHIFY - AMPLIFY GOSSAMER LASHES C10 & C8 WAYNE GOSS - The Weightless Veil Blush Palette in Coral Rose 3CE - Velvet Lip Tint

Soft Glam with Anastasia Beverly Hills 😍
I thought I would share a clear photo of what is my Go-to routine for daily makeup 😊 Believe it or not, I actually prefer not to put on foundation if I’m out and about. I LOVE just going out with a little concealer, some lashes, eyeshadow, and lipstick. I don’t put on foundation because love my cheeks because they’re naturally rosy. I also really appreciate the dimensions of my face. I thought I would show this photo because 1. I love how my eyeshadow looks. It’s hard to sometimes get my camera to show the eyeshadow colors for what they truly are. This eyelook is amazingly soft and wearable with some awesome dimension. 2. I want to normalize “nice photos with blemishes”. It never really occurred to me that some people really get down on themselves when they take a good photo and become discouraged when they see one or two blemishes. I feel like if I can show that I can embrace mine, it can help others embrace theirs 😊 For this look I used: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette 3CE - Velvet Lip Tint clé de peau BEAUTÉ - clé de peau BEAUTÉ Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 25

🌞TikTok Hack: Hassel Free Freckles!🌞
🌞TikTok Hack: Hassel Free Freckles!🌞
I found this trending beauty hack on tikTok from @jessriccaa and decided to test if it really works. This beauty hack supossedly gives you "cute lil freckles" 🥺by only using a water proof surface (she used a stickynote with tape over it), brown eyeshadow, micellar water, and a stippling brush. First scratch some brown eyeshadow (I used ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette ) and dump the loose powder onto a waterproof surface. Then add a drip of micellar water and mix it with the powder till you get a brown water. Use a stippling brush to pick up some of the brown water. Test it on your arm if you want to check the color and size of the "freckles" then gently dab it onto your face. And there you have it. Non-permenant and easy to wash off freckels. I actually do not have a stippling brush so I used wet n wild - wet n wild Powder Brush and tried to gently dab it as possible. This was kind of hard since when I test ran it on my arm i would get large patches of brown😅. You have to be extremly gentle if youre not using a stippling brush! It still ended up working but tbh I already have freckles so this even though this hack works, its not worth the effort for me🤷🏻‍♀️. I know a lot of people are blessed with a clear and flawless blank face (which I would prefer) but everyone prefers different things and see beauty differently so I totally understand if you want freckles! I would absolutely recommend this beauty hack if you have all the materials and want freckles since it is pretty simple and absolutely works.

🧼Easy Brush Cleaner Substitute🧼
🧼Easy Brush Cleaner Substitute🧼
🧼Have you ever went on a trip and feel like you're forgetting something? That's totally me! I always leave feeling like I'm forgetting something and guess what? I did forget this one time. I forgot my makeup brush cleanser. 🧼I searched online for substitutes and found one that said to use hand sanitizer as a substitute? In times like these, literally everyone has hand sanitizer at hand. So I pulled out my hand sanitizer and used it to cleanse my dirty makeup brush. The setup in the picture was not what I used when I was out and about. However, this is the optimal setup. 🧼What's needed: Dirty makeup brush Clean container/clean surface Hand sanitizer with no beads or glitter 🧼Steps: Simply add a few pumps of the hand sanitizer of your choice and then swirl your brush in the sanitizer then rinse it off thoroughly with water. Ta-da that's it. 🧼I found out that this hack is convenient for when you really don't have your brush cleanser, however, it does not clean it off completely. So I would suggest using this hack only when there's really nothing else to clean your brushes. #cheriepartner

Hack to clean makeup brushes
Hack to clean makeup brushes
I had never heard of cleaning your makeup brushes with Zote laundry soap before until I saw this hack on tick toc. I thought I’d give it a try I saw several videos where they just place the soap in the sink and rub the makeup brushes over the soap bar and rinse them. That seemed like a waste of soap to me. Then I saw the video below where they put the zote in a glass jar and I thought that would be quarantine project & a cute idea, and would save on waste Tick toc video https://vm.tiktok.com/nf9J6A/ Materials needed to make your own jar 1): Zote laundry soap $1.00 2): Small Glass jar or container 3): boiling water 4): vegetable peeler or vegetable shredder Steps to make your own jar 1): Use a vegetable peeler to slice the zote soap In thin slices 2): put slices in glass jar or container of Choice leave room for water 3): Pour boing water over the zote soap I stirred mine a little. Then leave it, The video said a hour and half but I let mine dry overnight. To Clean Make Up Brushes 1) wet brush & rub over zote soap in jar in Circular motion. 2): rinse the brush under running water rub Bristles with your fingers until the water runs clear and repeat step 1 if necessary. 3): get a old cloth and lay the brushes flat and let them dry. I highly recommend this hack it was easy and my makeup brushes look brand new and smell great. Try it out and tell me what you think. Jabón ZOTE - Zote Pink Soap This is some amazing stuff. It’s only a $1.00. It’s highly concentrated laundry soap made in Mexico. I used it to clean my makeup brushes but you can also make your own laundry detergent. tarte - The Buffer Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush

Makeup DON’Ts‼️
Makeup DON’Ts‼️
Don’t forget the primer! I think this one’s pretty basic and we might all know it, but if you forget to add it because you’re in a hurry or any other reason, then the whole makeup look will be affected! Don’t rub the foundation! Not only is it harsh to your face, but, by doing this, you’d only be SPREADING the base instead of BLENDING it. There’s a big difference between both. Instead, tap the foundation and blend it with circular motions. Don’t forget the neck! Many of us forget to this and it might seem that it’s not a big deal, but it is pretty noticeable, as you can see on the pictures. #CheriePartner
