AmorePacific Essential Creme Fluid, Dual Nourishing Lip Serum, and Color Control Cushion.
First of all the moisturizer has been nothing but amazing, now I understand why my friends who have tried it rave so much about it! The texture is lightweight but definitely gives your skin an instant hydration which is perfect for the forever summer weather here in the Philippines.
The lip serum is just an okay product for me, having tried the Henné one, I prefer that much more. This nourishes my lips but not for a long time as it claims.
Lastly the cushion—I got the shade (208 Medium Yellow) which is a tad bit too dark on me, so I’m probably gonna be able to use this once I just got back from a beach trip or something. It’s weightless, has buildable coverage, and has SPF 50+ for that extra sun protection we all need. The only thing I don’t generally like about Amore Pacific products might be the fragrance, the one on the cushion lasts longer than I’d want it too so if that’s something you’re not into you might wanna keep it in mind!
I have also been using these lip gems from henneorganics and I won’t keep it long—these are my new favorite lip products. The serum is encased in a glass bottle with 24K gold plated rollerball (yas luxury), keeping my lips smooth and nourished. The lip balm and mask on the other hand works amazingly together. When my lips are feeling extra dry I’d use the lavender mint exfoliator which smells fresh, and then follow up with their creamy lip balm that lasts a good while. Now I’m definitely curious about their lip mask and tinted balms since these products didn’t disappoint!
Last but definitely not the least, one of my favorite candles as of the moment from homesick. Library—which reminds me of old leather and antique pages, just right up my bookworm alley. There’s also hints of sandalwood, vanilla, and amber to name a few. They have many more scents reminiscent of spaces, places, and memories so definitely check them out.

E.L.F Camo CC Cream🤔
Sooo, I was able to get my hands on the #E.L.F - Camo CC Cream[products]#[ThreeStars] when it was launched and I’ve been testing it since. I was SO excited to try this out, as I love cc creams! I was so sure I was going to love it, I bought two colors; one for winter and one for summer. So far, I’ve only seen this available on Elf’s website for $14. As stated, I have worn this several times, so I have some thoughts:
Pros:
This has pretty decent coverage. I’ve been applying one solid layer and then going back and adding a second layer to problem areas and have been satisfied with coverage. I think this could definitely be built up to full coverage.
I really like the packaging, as it’s a tube with a pump, making it sanitary and easy to use.
The ingredients in this are pretty nice. Some of them include: Hyaluronic acid, collagen, niacinamide and peptides. This also has SPF 30.
This cc cream feels really light every time I wear it. No heaviness or anything like that.
Cons:
The finish on this is very odd. This is marketed as having a natural finish. This leaned more on the matte side of natural, which was surprising to me. I wasn’t expecting it to be super dewy, but I also expected it to be a little hydrating. It was not. My face appeared pretty dry every time I wore it. It also seemed to settle into fine lines and crack a lot in certain places(side of mouth, sides of nose, chin, etc), which hardly ever happens to me. Lastly, this emphasized texture as well. As my skin is super dry and a bit textured, due to a combination of weather and Accutane, I thought that maybe this was why the foundation didn’t have the best finish. BUT, I read some reviews on the website and watched a few reviews as well, and most people agreed with the above statements.
Another con to me was the shade range. There are 20 shades with various undertones, which in theory, seems decent for a cc creams. Basically, they have a cool, neutral and warm option for each shade range( fair, light, medium, etc.). I have very neural undertones, so I went with the fair neutral and the light neutral. The fair was extremely fair for me, but the light was at least 2-3 , or more, shades darker than the fair. That’s a big jump. I ended up mixing the two colors, which isn’t a huge deal, but it’s annoying that if I continued to use this, I’d have to buy two products every time I repurchased.
I’m going to keep playing around with this and see if I can find a combination that makes this look better. This definitely isn’t the worst cc cream ever, but I am a bit disappointed. I was hoping this could be an affordable dupe for the it Cosmetics - it Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+but it’s not. I’m going to try different primers under this and see is that helps. My dry, flaky, textured skin could definitely be attributing to the finish. Maybe this will work better in the summer when I’m not as dry and flaky? Let’s hope!🤞🏼
Has anyone else tried this? Thoughts? Suggestions?

He want that cake cake cake 🍰 🎂
Hey Cherie Fam! 🍒
I attempted to do a Christmas look today with the cake palette from Glamlite, but I failed miserably. I used the shade “red velvet” thinking it would be red, but it turned out to be a fuchsia. My lids are supposed to be green, but it turned out to be teal so now this look turned to be a cotton Candy look 😢
Anyway, this is a great rainbow palette 🌈 but if you’re looking for a true red, there isn’t a shade in here. The shimmers aren’t a true green either. It’s not exactly primary colors of a rainbow palette, but I love the formula.
To achieve this look, I used:
1️⃣ Red velvet and packed it all over the crease then I blended it
2️⃣ I grabbed a smaller brush and dipped in to cranberry to blend the edges of red velvet
3️⃣ I cut my crease and packed avocado all over my lid. This shade is from the burger slider palette
4️⃣ I placed cinnamon on my inner corner
5️⃣ Red velvet, cranberry and raspberry on the lower lash
6️⃣ Mascara and falsies. I used house of lashes in demure lite
Check out out my Instagram because I’m doing 12 days of Christmas. I will be posting a look everyday until Christmas.
Happy holidays all!
Xoxo,
Francesca

What’s your favorite foundation?
Hi, I’m currently on the hunt to find a nice light weight foundation, preferably vegan or Cruelty-free. My issue is I have dry and fairly sensitive skin, so coconut products make my face break out in hives. Any form of coconut products. And heavy weight foundations dry up on my face.
If you have any suggests please let me know of a
vegan or Cruelty-free
light weight
contains zero coconut
Foundation or skin tint, thank you very much to any one that helps!
*I mentioned the coconut products because every vegan or cruelty free foundation I’ve bought or tried contains coconut milk, or coconut extract.
P.s. It does not have to be vegan, any suggestions help! Thank you
This Foundation Deserves a Post For Itself
Here I used MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation which I’ve been using for years. This Foundation is Amazing. My skin is like a desert and gets super dry in wintertime. But every time I use this foundation, my skin glows!I simply use some toner under it and I don’t even need any primer. This foundation is a saver for dry skins.
Also, my skin is very sensitive. But this foundation never got me any trouble. I gotta say it is the best foundation I’ve every used for my skin type, even better than the YSL foundations for dry skins that are 5 times the price. This one is so cheap, you can buy it everywhere.
The only problem is that it doesn’t come with a pump, which I would really like. I bought one for it from China but it is hard to find in the US.

Blemish Rescue
bareMinerals - Blemish Rescue Spot Concealer for Acne-Prone Skin
This concealer is not only acne friendly, it is literally made to cover up and help heal any existing acne. It has Salylic acid to help zap the zits and other bacteria friendly ingredientes. I love the concept and the fact that I can put makeup over a zit without feeling guilty, but the coverage isn’t the best. It doesn’t blend well and def doesn’t hide any pimples.

Medium coverage makeup+skincare
This Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 has everything that I want in a foundation: SPF, skincare, medium coverage, natural finish, and you can blend other creams on top of it! It’s really become such a staple in my everyday routine! I like that it has extra SPF to boost what I already wear underneath! I would say it has a medium coverage, if you apply only a little you may get light coverage. The finish is very natural and since I have combo skin I have to set my T Zone, but the rest I can leave alone for a radiant and more dewy look! I love this BB cream so much I repurchased it today because I was running low! Swipe for the empty and the replacement!! 😍

NARS Creamy Concealer in Vanilla
My favorite concealer. This creamy opaque formula has a great texture and has great staying power. This shade is one of the lighter shades, works wonderfully. I apply using the doefoot applicator and then blend with a beauty sponge. This is great at helping to cover and conceal my facial redness. I’ve repurchased this many times, it’s my go-to concealer!
