A Cherie Member Wanted A Tutorial ❤️
A Cherie member wanted a tutorial of one of my eye looks that I previously created! Here it is! I’ve listed the products I used below and please make sure to read the notes at the bottom on the photo! 😊 NYX - Epic Wear Eye & Body Liquid Liner
I’m not great at makeup but I had fun with this!
I did a look with the Sugarpill - Little Twin Stars Collection and I found it so fun, I wanted to share it SOMEWHERE. I’ve been too nervous to post it anywhere, but Cherie seems pretty skill level inclusive so why not! TheSugarpill - Limited Edition Little Twin Stars Liquid Lip Color Duo are a bit drying, I found, but they have glitter in them. I’ve never found a glitter lipstick that didn’t feel a bit chappy. The applicator is also huge and stiff so I had a bit of difficulty applying, myself. They’re far from the worst I’ve used, though! Definitely opaque and pigmented, and I assume pretty long wearing, but I washed it off after just a few hours. But I love seeing Kiki and Lala on them, so I’m excited to have them. The Sugarpill - Little Twin Stars Palette is so dreamy, it IS a bit sheer, but it’s so blendable and the shimmers are the prettiest I’ve used. The colors are pigmented but I feel like they were left a bit more sheer to keep it soft. I used it as both eyeshadow and blush/highlight and I plan to continue, it’s a perfect face palette for a pastels lover. ESPECIALLY in love with the pink and gold pigments. The white eyeliner is NYX - Epic Wear Eye & Body Liquid Liner and I gotta say, I have had ups and downs with Nyx but an eyeliner is something I didn’t expect them to let me down on. I think it’s okay if you want body liner, but it’s simply too hard to take off to put on the sensitive eye area. It feels gluey, and dries like it has latex in it. Despite that, I had to layer it to get some opacity, and that sticky, stringy texture made for a REALLY difficult time getting any clean lines/wings. For me I’d rate it worse, but if you want long lasting colored liner, it’s definitely not lying about being that, so I have to give credit where it’s due. Overall, I love the palette and consider it a favorite, I would wear the lipsticks again if I felt bold enough for those colors, and that eyeliner is only being kept around for some SFX makeup if I ever need it.
Watermelon Sugar High 🍉 ❤️
I love cute and simple things so here’s a watermelon inspired eye look! Also, Tina Young’s company, Petite Cosmetics, makes awesome lashes. I love this one! It’s called “shy” and it’s super cute and natural looking on small-set eyes 😍 I have two types so far but hoping to go back for more! Used: VISEART - Grande Pro 3 petite COSMETICS - Shy Eye Lashes NYX - Epic Wear Eye & Body Liquid Liner
FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO DO A SMOKED WING 😍
I’ve always wanted to do a soft smoked wing but I found that every time I blended/smudged, I would accidentally overblend or it just ends up looking messy. Here are a couple tips I created to give me the most success for my eyeshape! 1. Have a Q tip and a makeup remover balm ready! These two items aren’t just going to be used for cleaning up the mess. It is actually going to help you create the thinnest, crisp line you’ll ever see! Keep in mind this method will only work if you want your eyeliner to be placed exactly like it is in the pictures! Make sure you don’t put any foundation on when you’re doing this or else you’re going to have a line of bare skin showing. Steps: START WITH ONE EYE FIRST. Do your eyeliner as usual using a creamy eye pencil stay as close to the lash line as possible. You want a formula that gives you time to “play” but also set after a couple seconds to a minute. Then you’re going to use a smudging brush like the SIGMA - E21 Smudge Brush and smudge your liner out to your liking, especially the wing. Be sure to check your work every so often. Don’t worry if it gets chubby at the end, we’ll fix that and make it sharp again! Take your Q tip and take a small amount of your makeup remover and rub it into the Q tip. Be sure to not saturate it. You still want some dryness to it for control purposes. Align the end of the Q tip with the makeup remover at an angle. It should align in the same direction/angle as your wing but not directly on top of it. You’re not trying to erase the whole wing, but you are redefining it. Start at the end of the outer-corner of your eye near your lower lash line and wipe in the same direction of your wing. If you did it right, you should have a clean and crisp line that dragged itself out to make your liner appear longer and thinner. Wipe off the makeup remover residue by using the other side of the Q tip with a bit of water. Adjust as needed by applying more product or more cleanup. 2. The product you use matters! I start with a cream pencil liner and smoke it out. Once I use the Q tip method, I go back and use an eyeshadow powder similar to the color of my liner to creat more depth or smokiness.in the areas needed. If you use a liner that sets right away, you will have a hard time smudging it out! For this look I used 3CE - Super Slim Waterproof Eyeliner in cinnamon. . For the rest of the look I used: MELT COSMETICS - Impulsive Pressed Pigment Palette Viola! Hope this tip/hack helps you! I’m thinking of creating a video version of this so I can walk you guys through it. I know there a lot of written steps. Let me know if that may be better for you guys! 😃☺️❤️
How to Get More Use Out of Your Bright Colors💕
HELLOOOOOOO! I had a much needed mini break yesterday so there was no post BUT TODAY... I wanted to share some awesome tips since for most of us it’s fall/winter season and many of our bright colors are hibernating until spring! If you’re a person who typically says no to bright pinks, oranges, neon greens, etc. in the fall/winter season or don’t know what to do with them, here’s how you can utilize those colors to benefit your look/wardrobe! I set an example in this photograph of a very wearable but bright makeup look. Here’s how I got it to look “put together” without needed to add a boatload of other colors or create a high contrast. By exploring these techniques you can get a softer look but still stay in the same color spectrum 1. Play with the tones of the shade and apply it to different areas of the face! It can be difficult to use multiple shades of the same color spectrum on the face because things can turn messy/muddy very quickly. You might even look sunburnt if you’re using pinks. This can be due to the fact that some colors have the same undertone that creates the final product. Your skintone also plays a role in how the final results will look. The easiest thing you can do is play with these undertones. Have some fun with shades that can be cool or warm in undertone. You can balance out the face by having some cool tones in certain areas and warm in others. This way you won’t look “sickly”, “crazy”, or sunburnt” at the end of everything. In photo 2, you can see towards my eye area that it’s slightly “warmer” than the makeup on the rest of my face, specifically my upper lid area. The shade I created was a mixture of the color “Wild” and “Delicate” from Violet Voss - Sakura Blossom Eyeshadow and Pressed Pigment Palette , which are both warm in color/undertone. Next, I added a light cool-toned pink on my lower lid. I wanted the eyes and cheeks to capture most of the attention. Therefore, adding the cool-toned pink helped add dimension without taking away the focal points of the upper lid and cheeks. The idea is to have a sense of balance. 2. Play with Textures! If you have a ton of shades that have bright colored sparkles/shimmers and don’t know what to do with them, use them here! Imagine this being your wardrobe. You can enhance certain patterns in a blouse or t shirt with another pattern. This concept is the same for eyeshadows/face makeup. The micro-particles can really rejuvenate your makeup and enhance the look to create dimension. Imagine have a full face of the same color of bright matte pink. There might not be that UMPH you see in your typical editorials/makeup photos. By adding some highlights and other textures, it will give your eyes something to look at! Use shimmers that may have a similar color profile if you want a unified look. Other Products Used: WAYNE GOSS - The Weightless Veil Blush Palette 3CE - Velvet Lip Tint Happy Experimenting!
BLIIIINDING Half Cut Crease
I can’t tell you how much I just stare at the gold “foiled” half cut crease here 🥵 It just needs its own moment. No tips. Just staring 👀😆 Violet Voss - Sakura Blossom Eyeshadow and Pressed Pigment Palette VISEART - Grande Pro 3

Makeup Routine for Sensitive Skin
I have sensitive normal-dry skin (depending on the time of year) and always look for products that are lightweight, hydrating, soothing, and that cover redness. With sensitive skin, you want to be careful when selecting and applying your makeup; your skin is likely very easily agitated and if you’re like me, you’re often dealing with redness. I struggle with redness on my cheeks, around my nose, and on my chin. For the most part, I try to avoid any products (especially face makeup) that is super heavily fragranced, because I can pretty much guarantee it’ll make my redness worse and/or cause a breakout. Here are some of the products that work for me and my sensitive skin and help to give me an even, glowy, but natural look! 1. COVER FX - Water Cloud Primer - this primer is very hydrating and soothing, it also helps to protect against blue light and pollution. I like to start with a hydrating primer, especially in the cold weather months, because my skin tends to be drier and I want my makeup to look smooth and even. If you find that your makeup clings to dry patches, make sure you are exfoliating 1-2 times weekly and adding moisture back into your skin with your skincare! 2. Quo - Quo Liquid Foundation (shade C3 Vanilla) - this foundation has a satin finish and always gives me a healthy glow (if you are oily you may need to set with powder but should still be able to wear this). I only use maybe 5-6 drops for my whole face because I like to still be able to see my actual skin. 3. HALEYS - Re:Cover Pressed Powder Foundation (shade 2.15 in the winter and 2.25 in the summer) - I am obsessed with this powder foundation; it melts into my skin and is so natural looking. It doesn’t make me look cakey or powdery and is so easy and quick to use. Typically I either wear this alone or I’ll use a bit of it over my liquid foundation in my t-zone to set it. 4. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer (shade Fair) - this is a holy grail in the beauty world for good reason, it has amazing coverage (can be drying). I apply a dot of this near the corner of my eye and another one near the outer corner, if my redness is really bad, I’ll also use a bit of this around my nose and on my chin. 5. ILIA - NightLite Bronzer Powder (shade Novelty) - I use a bronzer year round to warm up my skin & give a glow. This one is super pigmented so be careful! 6. essence - Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara (shade 02 Browny Brows) - I loooove this stuff, it’s so quick and easy and holds up really well throughout the day. Also it’s like $3!! 7..HONEST - Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer - this stuff is amazing! It has a primer on one end and really does give amazing length. 8.DIOR - Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss - gives my lips the best glossy look! It’s iconic for a reason😉 #CheriePartner
Slay Your Next Zoom Interview!
Hey Cherie Sisters! 👯♀️ Times are changing and I know interviews are most likely being done via zoom nowadays with covid and social distancing. Here are some makeup tips I have on how to slay your next zoom interview. First of all, being on camera isn’t the same as being in person so how you would normally apply your makeup in person isn’t gonna look the same digitally. ✨ FACE •I normally would opt in for a natural looking foundation. However, since that cameras tend to wash you out, I would go for a medium to full coverage. I used my COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Foundation •I say the same for concealer. I used my tarte - Shape Tape Concealer •Cream contour and highlight to give your face dimension on screen. I used FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Trioin the shade Mocha and Bamboo •Apply blush heavier than normal and go for a bright color. You want something on your face that pops and adding warmth to your cheeks will make you appear you have more life. I used MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush in Berry Amore ✨EYES •To appear wide awake, apply more eyeshadow than usual as well. Normally, I’d skip eyeshadow during interviews, but on camera you might look washed out so applying more than normal contours your eye shape. Use a matte medium brown shade for the crease. •Apply lots of mascara or even natural looking falsies. On zoom, you’re able to see the lighting and how you will appear on screen. Having voluminous lashes will add definition to your eyes and it will make them appear brighter on camera ✨LIPS I love using Rare Beauty - Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream in Courage! Applying a lipstick will make you appear more put well together ✨LIGHTING •I highly recommend a ring light. Bad lighting can be super distracting and while good lighting can make you a lot friendlier and more personable. •Make sure the light source is in front of you and not the side or from your back ✨JEWELRY Use subtle jewelry to add a little accent. I added silver earrings and a small black rectangle pendant necklace. ✨HAIR I guess this depends where you work, but if you have an interview for a corporate position, I recommend a low pony or a low bun. •if you prefer to wear your hair down make sure you can see your face clearly and your hair is out of your face ✨ADDITIONAL TIPS •Make you sure you use a professional virtual background. Having a messy background is distracting •Use headphones to cancel out random noises such as the fan and etc. •Make sure you lock your dog in the other room! I definitely made a mistake of not locking my dog and the guy who was interviewing me definitely asked me about his random barks. Here are some tips and tricks for zoom interview. I hope you find this helpful! Francesca 💋

Honey Tones With Urban Decay
Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Foundation Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation is fantastic for my skin. It’s light to medium coverage matt finish foundation with a reflective pigment. My shade is 61NN, making it easy to look natural, moisturizing for all skin types and vegan. No nasties in this foundation, no parabens, and no palm oil - the foundation has a silk liquid feel, glides on smoothly, and stays in place throughout the day. Fifty shades to choose from, you can guarantee a match to your skin color. Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette I love this palette because of the shade range. It’s the best palette Urban Decay has ever created. The texture is good, heavily pigmented creamier, and easy to apply - such a long-lasting formula with no fallout. Just like it says, twelve golden honey shades, three different textures just like the spotlight palette, creamy, silky mattes, smooth shimmers, and sparkly metallic eye shadows. To create this look, I used Keeper all over the lid and under the lashes and then a mixture of Hive and Drip on the outer edge and in the socket of my eye, and I finished with Sting in the teardrop of my eye. For an interview or casual day look, I love the Naked Honey Palette. To go a bit more hardcore, I might add some pink shades from my other palette from Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette.

a non-neutral look???
today has been a super high anxiety day for me and has just completely made me shut down. which is honestly just great. i decided to try to play with some of the only colour that i have in my collection, which is clearly not much and i kind of look like ursula but i’ll take it. i’ve been watching bailey sarian’s youtube videos, specifically murder mystery & makeup mondays and they have really inspired me to play with more vibrant colours. i just .... don’t have the colours.... someone give me palette suggestions! eyes: Too Faced - Pretty Rich Diamond Light Eyeshadow Palette PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Eye Booster Ultra Fine Liquid Eyeliner + Serum PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Killer Curves Voluptuous Curling Mascara benefit - Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil face: DOSE OF COLORS - Meet Your Hue Foundation CATRICE COSMETICS - Liquid Camouflage Concealer Too Faced - Peach Perfect Setting Powder FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter lips: NYX - Lip Lingerie Matte Lipstick

EUPHORIA EYE MAKEUP TUTORIAL✨ #CheriePartner
Euphoria is a t.v show on HBO that I do not watch so I honestly can’t tell you too much about it. What I can tell you is the show is known for their makeup done by artist Doniella Davy. The show uses bright and daring eyeshadows, bling around the eyebrows etc. This look is definitely not everyday wearable for me but I had so much fun trying this trendy makeup out. Products used: Eyeshadow: MORPHE - Morphe X Maddie Ziegler The Imagination Palette $25 -Beautiful range of colors -Slightly chalky in texture but did not have a problem with blending/fall-out Mascara: L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara -One of my fave drugstore mascaras. -The brush is fluffy which allows for volumized lashes. holographic glitter tutorial ✨🌌
hello everyone! here is a holographic glitter tutorial featuring the nyx glitter brilliants! this look is so enchanting and iridescent ✨✨ let me know what you think and dont forget to follow and share! for the brown eyeshadow, i used MORPHE - 35O3 Fierce By Nature Artistry Palette whats cool about this rainbow and silver glitter is that you can actually use any color with it, but i think it pops out the most with neutral tones! another color may be too distracting ✨ for the glitter glue, i used NYX - Glitter Primer this primer is really great for loose, pressed, and glitter gels, as it helps hold the product to the eye amd prevent fallout! a little goes a long way❤️ for the actual glitter, i used NYX - NYX Metallic Glitter in the shade “star”. this glitter is magical! and paired with the primer it has very little fallout! it is literally rainbow in real life! the mascara is L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara as always. i used to rate it four stars, but its taken a place in my heart, as ive neber found another mascara i like quite as much❤️
