How to Blend Dry Shadows into Cream Shadows Tip
I recently went back into playing with cream shadows that set to a matte finish. Today will go over a tip that helped me get that perfect blend when I was dealing with different textures of eyeshadows! This is great for those of you who struggled to blend a powder shadow into a liquid shadow. In this eye look, I used HUDA BEAUTY - Matte & Metal Melted Double Ended Liquid Eyeshadows

Easy (five minute!) makeup for ZOOM Meetings
Doing my makeup and feeling put-together is one of my favorite things, however I don’t always have the time or energy to be able to achieve a full-face beat every day. Soft and gentle glam, I use this look when I want to feel ~soft~ and glowy, but only spend minimal time on it. I start with NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer which I use all over my face, spot concealing redness of pimples, around my nose and lips, tip of my nose, and between my eyebrows. This brightens and evens your skin tone without a full face of foundation. You can use primer if you want, when I do I use a blurring primer like TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer or beautyblender - Pore Minimizing Primer which smooth skin and even look good just on their own. I set with BECCA - Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder and then move on to my eyes. I use one eyeshadow palette with a few colors, two of my favorites are NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette and EM COSMETICS - Limited Edition Divine Skies Eyeshadow Palette which have both mattes and shimmers. Important: they don’t patch! This makes blending a breeze. I put a neutral brown in my crease and outer V, then layer a dark brown in my outer v and smudge on my lower lash line. Adding shimmer is optional, but I usually do. For this I just use my finger and swipe on the lid. All powders for my face bronzer, blush, & highlight applied with one fluffy brush. I apply blush by pinching the powder brush in my fingers to elongate it to place product where I want— my fav is PATRICK TA - Monochrome Moment Velvet Blush which applies smoothly on all skin (prepped or not). I layer with benefit - Hoola Matte Bronzer in a 3 shape, and finish with whatever glowing highlight i feel like. In this image it’s OFRA - Nikkietutorials Everglow Highlighter Brow filling is optional, but brushing them up with a gel helps you look awake and youthful with little effort. Finish with mascara and a tinted lip balm or moisturizing lipstick like Glossier. - Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick or EM COSMETICS - EM Cosmetics Lip Cushion and you’re ready to go in less than ten!
How To Perfect Your Cut Crease! Tips/Techniques
There was one day that I thought I could actually try out a cut crease but had no idea if it would fit my eyeshape. Then....THIS HAPPENED ❤️❤️😍 ...well actually happened again! (Second time doing it) Since both times were successful, I’ll give you guys some tips, tools, and techniques that would be optimal to use to get the cleanest cut crease! 1. Tools Brushes: The idea is to have a brush that isn’t super stiff and super flimsy. I use 2 types of brushes from morphe: MORPHE - M505 Tapered Blender Brush MORPHE - M506 Tapered Mini Blender Brush The m505 was used to apply the base color and the m506 was used to apply the darker shadow. 2. Technique The key thing to starting is to FIND THE BONE OF YOUR EYE. I know that sounds weird but it helps create that roundness for the eye on the cut crease. This is where you’ll focus the colors, especially the darker shades. When it comes to layering on the concealer/foundation for the cut crease, I use the SIGMA - E54 Medium Sweeper Brush to STAMP THE CONCEALER/FOUNDATION FIRST and then blend in later to decrease the likelihood for mistakes. Don’t grab too much concealer or foundation either. You don’t want to make stamping difficult/messy for you. When you stamp, follow the your eye bone once more. It helps give you an idea/outline of where to put the concealer. Set the concealer/foundation with a translucent powder to prevent shifting. This also helps layer on any other colors you want in the cut crease. I put a peachy white color plus a shimmer to bring it out as a highlight after using HUDA BEAUTY - Matte & Metal Melted Double Ended Liquid Eyeshadows in shade Faux Fur. Then you take you brush handle and line it up against the lower lid at an angle so you can see where you will put the eyeliner and if there’s any need for extension. The main thing with everything is to take it easy and slow. You will be going back and forth with correcting the shape. That’s normal and don’t beat yourself up for it! Finishing both eyes took me one to two hours the first time. You’ll get faster at it the more you practice! Happy practicing! ❤️
One side is matte & the other has a shimmer! Blends super smooth & sets to be smudge-proof
THE GOOD WITCH OF THE SOUTH 👑🌟💗
The inspiration behind this look was obviously the Wizard of Oz. I wanted to do a modern twist to the look and this is what I came up with. Products: •contour/bronzer blushes: bareMinerals - bareMinerals Blush LAURA GELLER - Match Blush-N-Bronzer Duo WANDER BEAUTY - Dusk to Dawn Blush and Highlighter Palette •eyeshadows: HUDA BEAUTY - The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette Too Faced - Bon Bons Chocolate Shadow Palette •liquid shadow: #L’Oréal - Infallible paint eyeshadow[products]#[FourStars] •glitter shadow: PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Extreme Shimmer Shadow Nude Palette •highlighter: benefit - Dandelion Brightening Finishing Face Powder FENTY BEAUTY - Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter •lipglosses:KKW BEAUTY - Kkw Crème Liquid Lipstick How to: •On a prepped face (foundation, concealer etc.,) I applied a mixture of the three blushes listed above. I applied the darkest shade to “contour" and the the other two shades all over to “bronze” the face. In the movie, Glenda has so much blush on so going overboard on the blush was a nesessity. •For the eyes, I wanted to create a soft pink look. I used light pink matte shadows all over the crease and blended it outwards towards the temples of my face. I then took a flat brush with concealer and cut the crease of my lid. I applied the white liquid shadow in the inner corner of my eyes/lid. Then I applied the pink glitter shadow in the inner lid space of my eyes. •For the under eye area, I applied the matte shadows and blended it out. •To finish the eyes I applied highlighter to the brow bone, and added mascara and false lashes. •For the lips, I applied the lipgloss in the shade ‘kiki' and topped it off with a clear liquid lipgloss •Lastly, I heavily applied highlighter to the high points of my face. For the outfit, I chose something pink and with puffy sleeves as she wears that in the movie. I didn’t want to wear a crown for this look because I wanted to make it wearable so I tied a necklace around my ponytail to recreate a modern take on the tall jeweled crown she wears in the movie. #CheriePartner
Glowing Natural-glam Fall Makeup
Natural glam is some of my favorite makeup to rock, and fall makes it even better with all of the delicious warm tones and golds. I always love to play up my eyes and highlight to get a lit from within glow that complements the warm neutrals I use for my shadows and lips. Using the inspiration of golden hour and the changing colors of the leaves never fails 🍁 For my eyes, I used a mixture of NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette and my HUDA BEAUTY - The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette to get the perfect mix of warm tones and golds. I start by blending the camel color from natasha in my crease, and deepen it with the next darkest brown in the palette (a chocolate) on my outer V. I take my finger and press crave from huda onto the center of my lid, layering my highlight on the inner corner and smoking my lower lash line out with the same chocolate colour. The duo-chrome shadows in the huda palette is extra fun, and adds extra dimension to the look; I love the shift of crave and daydream. I add a dot of highlight to the center of my lower lash line as well. I dont line in this look, but use a few coats of a dark black mascara like CHANEL - LE VOLUME DE Waterproof Mascara which doesn’t smudge or flake, and applies easily with little clumping for long and voluminous lashes. I darken my brows to give a more structured look to my eyes. I’ve been loving the Rare Beauty - Brow Harmony Pencil and Gel which makes my brows look naturally tinted and sculpted for a more elegant look. I didnt contour in this look, but layered on benefit - Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder liberally with a darker bronzer powder still in a warmer shade CHANEL - LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW Sheer Powder I don’t contour because for this look i’m sticking with only warm tones, and my contour shade is cool. I mix in my blush, EM COSMETICS - Heaven’s Glow: Magic Hour Blush which truly transfers the colour of magic onto the face, and top it with my Charlotte Tilbury - Beauty Highlighter Wand that melts into the skin and gives a heavenly glow. For my lips, I used a mix of Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick and EM COSMETICS - EM Cosmetics Lip Cushion for perfect warm nude pink tones. What’s your go-to look? Would you try this out? Let me know what you think down below! 💕

Honey Tones With Urban Decay
Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Foundation Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation is fantastic for my skin. It’s light to medium coverage matt finish foundation with a reflective pigment. My shade is 61NN, making it easy to look natural, moisturizing for all skin types and vegan. No nasties in this foundation, no parabens, and no palm oil - the foundation has a silk liquid feel, glides on smoothly, and stays in place throughout the day. Fifty shades to choose from, you can guarantee a match to your skin color. Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette I love this palette because of the shade range. It’s the best palette Urban Decay has ever created. The texture is good, heavily pigmented creamier, and easy to apply - such a long-lasting formula with no fallout. Just like it says, twelve golden honey shades, three different textures just like the spotlight palette, creamy, silky mattes, smooth shimmers, and sparkly metallic eye shadows. To create this look, I used Keeper all over the lid and under the lashes and then a mixture of Hive and Drip on the outer edge and in the socket of my eye, and I finished with Sting in the teardrop of my eye. For an interview or casual day look, I love the Naked Honey Palette. To go a bit more hardcore, I might add some pink shades from my other palette from Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette.

Candyland Eyes 🍭 🍬 🍦 💜💗
Hey Cherie Beauties, Happy hump day! I finally got to try the stuff I picked up from Colourpop X Candyland collection. I have mixed feelings about the eyeshadows in this palette and the super shock blush. The only thing I was impressed with was the Princess Lolly roller gloss and I was the least excited about that one... I love some of the shadows such as king candy and gramma nutty. Both were pigmented and blended nicely on the eyes. I can see myself using these shades on my neutral days. However, trouble started when I dipped in the color shades. Plumpy applied patchy and refused to show up on my lids. I tried using a brush, my finger and a wet brush but it was really patchy and I really had to layer it to show up. Rainbow trail was chalky and Gloppy were hard to blend and difficult to work with. The shade sugar high was nice though. I haven’t tried all the shades so I will probably use it one more time to decide if I completely hate this palette. I got the super shock cheek in Gummy More and it was a chunk of glitter on my cheeks. The smell was great at first, but after a while I found it to be overwhelming. I can see myself picking up this product if I’m going to a festival, a concert or out...which we know won’t happen any time soon due to the pandemic, but other than that I don’t see myself really picking this up again. The roller gloss was awesome because it felt so cold on the lips and it’s great for the hotter months at the moment. It is also scented, but it doesn’t get overwhelming like the scent in the super shock blush. Overall, this is the first Colourpop collection that I wasn’t in love with...the products were just okay...but then again pastel colors aren’t really up my alley so I can see someone who is in to colors being super in to this. On this look, I used: -King candy (transition) -Gramma nut (crease) -Gloppy (outer corner) -Plumpy (lids) -Rainbow trail (inner lid) -Sugar high (inner corner and brow highlight) -Graceland bff liquid liner -Creme gel liner in big splash and amethyst hour -Gummy more on the cheeks Are you in to pastels? Would you pick this collection up from Colourpop? 💙💜💖 🍭 Have a sweet day! Francesca 💋

🌹pat mcgrath divine rose i review 🌹
i used this palette for the first time today and unsurprisingly, i love it. it’s so versatile – whether you‘re going for an everyday look or more dramatic glam, this palette has it. lighting – indirect sunlight application – fluffy brush, small blending brush, chisel brush, and fingers skin tone & undertone – light with neutral undertones other products used (eye only) – pretty VULGAR - Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer / Kokie - Be Bright Liquid Concealer / tarte - SEA Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara texture & pigmentation – okay so WOW. these are so creamy and buttery. they glide on effortlessly, whether on a brush or fingers. the pigment is incredible. the mattes are bold yet buildable. and the shimmers. oh, those shimmers. never before have i applied a SINGLE layer of a shimmer and been happy with the result, i always have to build and build and build. but these are something else. otherworldly. then there’s the signature pat mcgrath shift shades. the iridescent, elusive color that you can’t quite pin down because it’s neither, it’s both. staying power – oh, it stays & slays. price – 125.00 usd. i bought this as part of a duo with divine rose ii as well as during a sale, so i paid considerably less. however, i do think it’s worth the money. the pans are larger than in other eyeshadow palettes i’ve used and because a little goes a long way in this case, i know this will last long. today, i used – velouria astral solstice vr rose venus refined gold 002 skinshow nude

8hr eye primer wear test!
hello everyone! so recently ive been on the lookout for an affordable, decent quality eye primer that doesnt crease. so, i bought the nyx “proof it” waterproof eye primer. unfortunately, i am really disappointed. The before picture was taken at 2:00 after i just put on my makeup. keep in mind, the eye shadow and glitter i use is very nice and doesnt crease with other primers. (i used COLOURPOP - In a Trance Shadow Palette and COLOURPOP - Colourpop Glitter Gel ) the after picture on the right was taken at 10:00. i figured eight hours is a pretty normal amount of time to wear makeup, and definitely not very long. unfortunately, i noticed the creasing was really bad, and you could see my bare, oily lid in my crease and above and below it. the only thing i will say about this is that it is actually waterproof, so it does do what its says, its just a terrible eye primer, and caused my makeup to crease really bad. whats your favorite eyeprimer? let me know in the comments and dont forget to leave a like🥰 NYX - Proof It!
