Plump and Juicy Beauty Routine
My skin is the most important thing to me on my face. When my skin is looking right and tight I feel beautiful and confident. My beauty routine can be used day or night and is great for dry skin. I love a plump, juicy, and firm look to the skin and I’ve found this system keeps me looking snatched! It’s important to do this routine in order for the best results. 1. I start with cleansing the skin using the Kate Somerville Eradikate daily foaming cleanser after I’ve dampened my face with warm water. I love this cleanser because of its acne treating ingredients like 3% sulfur. I find it gives me a really deep clean and removes both my makeup and whatever dirt I have. I like to massage it into my skin for about 30 seconds and then rinse with warm water. 2. After I pat my face dry with a clean towel I then tone the skin with the Glow Recipe Watermelon glow toner. This toner has a lovely smell and feel, it has PHA and BHA to tighten pores and plump the skin. I simply apply it on the palms of my hands and pat it gently on to the face and neck. 3. This product is new for me but I’m absolutely obsessed with it. The Kate Somerville DermalQuench liquid lift serum is kinda a game changer for me. It comes in a spray bottle which you must shake well and then you spray it all over the face and neck, it tingles on the skin and foams, you must immediately massage it into the skin after application. This serum honestly firms, lifts, hydrates, and tightens the skin. It’s an oxygen facial and a hyaluronic serum all in one and I’ve seen immediate results with it. 4. The lashes mustn’t be neglected! I then use the Grande Lash lash enhancing serum on the base of my lashes. I’ve seen very fast results with this product, my lashes are growing in thicker, longer, and darker after using the serum day and night. 5. Once those serums have soaked in I then apply IS Clinical’s Youth eye complex to the entirety of the outside area of the eye. This product was gifted to me and I’ve been using it for 2 months now. It gives nice hydration and luminosity to the eye area and is Gentile. I apply half a pump to my ring fingers and pat the product in all around the eye. 6. The moisturizing step is the most important! I have a serious addiction the the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. I’ve never tried a moisturizer that made my skin look so good. This moisturizer activates dormant stem cells in the skin and deeply hydrates. It has a Devine creamy texture that literally melts into the skin. I dispense 2 pumps onto my finger tips and begin massaging it all over my face and neck. I do a little lymphatic drainage by massaging from the center of the face towards the outer part of the face, then down the neck to reduce fluid build up in the face and decrease puffing especially I the morning. The best part Is this moisturizer perfectly primes my skin for makeup application as well. 7. This last step isn’t necessary unless I’m feeling like I need an extra jolt of moisture and glow. If I need it I will use the Augustinus Bader The Face Oil on top of the Rich Cream. This gorgeous oil plumps my skin and adds the most healthy luminous glow.

stephanieleighsaysYes! Dying to try the Augustinus Bader cream. I should just do it already sigh.
I think I’m enjoying this Kate Somerville - DermalQuench Liquid Lift Advanced Wrinkle Treatment a little too much. DermalQuench liquid lift is a very unique product! You shake the bottle and then spray onto your face. When you shake it the bottle actually sounds like a spray paint can, when sprayed onto the skin it feels like a very light foamy texture that rubs and sinks into the skin so well. No stickiness or residue. Its a based on a new oxygenated hydration technology that delivers intense hydration to the skin. I have such dry skin that I know this will be a lifesaver this winter! It’s also so fun to apply that I look forward to my nightly application. ⠀
Great perk up for tired skin!🥰🥰
I found this product to really refresh my skin. I like using it and and find it makes a difference. The decrease in fine lines and wrinkles along with the increase in moisture is amazing. I noticed immediately fine lines and wrinkles softened like no other product I have tried before. I had very deep smile lines. This product makes my skin feel and look tight, firm, and radiant. Not sticky or thick, goes on lightly and spreads easily. Keeping the wrinkles and jowl lines at bay. I use this with the Deep Tissue Repair. It smoothes you out and tightens the skin just a bit to look naturally fresh. I noticed some fine line wrinkles, because I scrunch my face up a lot. Had them in my T zone areas, did not use the product religiously. I would use it maybe 5 days in a row then stop, then 2 weeks later use it 7 days in a row then stop for a month. I tried to stop using it for awhile to see if there was a difference in my skin when my complexion looked extremely tired. Easy application. Shake bottle well. Prior to first use, prime the applicator by spraying three times, away from the face. Press actuator button and dispense product on face and immediately massage. I have been religiously applying it to head, cheeks and neck, morning and night, for a month. As for smell, none, absorption is immediate, Effectiveness is amazing. It is the fastest acting treatment I have ever used. I just think the product is a bit over priced but most beauty products are really. If you're on the fence, you have nothing to lose. Highly recommend trying this if you struggle with wrinkles.
Tips for inflamed acne
The first step to treating any acne is to understand what type of acne you have. Inflamed acne can be one of the three types of acne pictured above. This type of acne is often red, irritated and painful. I have three tips for those who may have inflammatory acne. (These are suggestions and are not guaranteed to work. I’m not a dermatologist or esthetician, these are just tips I’ve gathered from professionals. ) 1)You should treat the inflammation first before you try to treat the acne. Find skin soothing products that work for your skin type. Before you slather on the acne treatments, look for products with colloidal oatmeal, madecassoside, allantoin, green tea, etc. Some good products for treating inflammation are FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner and Krave - Great Barrier Relief. I got this tip from esthetician @/fairyglowmother on twitter. Please follow them for more advice directly from the source. 2) Look for products with sulfur or benzoyl peroxide. A lot of people (including me at first) were under the impression that salicylic acid is a cure all for acne. However, salicylic acid is mainly effective on non-inflammatory acne like whiteheads or blackheads. So, products like Kate Somerville - EradiKate Daily Cleanser Acne Treatment, PETER THOMAS ROTH - Therapeutic Sulfur Acne Treatment Maskor a benzoyl peroxide cleanser may be a better option. I’m not 100% positive but I believe I got this tip from estheticians @/caveofbeauty and @/ seangarrette on twitter. Follow them for more advice. 3) Wash your face with lukewarm to cold water. Using hot water on your skin can be severely drying and will further irritate your inflamed acne and damage your skin barrier. The skin on your face is delicate so you should be gentle with it. Tip from @/makeupforwoc and @/caveofbeauty
I have been loving this foaming cleanser by Kate Somerville. This EradiKate collection is seriously PHENOMENAL for acne prone skin y’all!!! Like has been kicking my skin into gear. It’s super lightweight and smooth to apply. I normally apply it all over my face and then scrub it lightly into my skin with a little scrub sponge before I rinse off!!! I really feel that that extra step helped my skin a whole lot. This cleanser works well on its own but even better with the other products from this amazing collection!!! It’s such a creamy texture that quickly foams up when you lather it up with your hands and some water. It’s gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.... I absolutely love this cleanser so much and the rest of this collection work hand in hand as well. Kate Somerville - EradiKate Daily Cleanser Acne Treatment

Minimal Night Time Skincare
Here is my very minimal college student night time routine! I put these on every night after I wash my face and tone. I listed the products in the order i apply them(: ✨ Fourth Ray Beauty Rainfall - This is a 2% hyaluronic acid serum. It has a nice light cucumber scent and applies nicely and not sticky. I highly recommend this product as I have used it for over two years. I love how easy it is to apply and even use it whenever my face feels slightly dry. ✨ Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask - I use this lip sleeping mask every night and find it very nourishing. It helped my lips a lot especially now that it is colder. It has a lot of product so it is definitely worth the price. The only downside it that it is not easy to apply so it may not be as sanitary if you choose to take it outside of your house. ✨ Base Butter Radiate Face Jelly - I recently started to use this product. It is a gel moisturizer and plumps my skin. It also has a nice scent. However, the consistency is very strange for a gel moisturizer and has little white specks in the product. I may have had a bad batch that was not mixed well enough but will continue to use as it leaves my skin plump. ✨ Grande Lash Enhancing Serum - I LOOOVE THIS. Would rate over 5 stars if I could. It leaves my lashes suuuuper long and does not itch whatsoever. ✨ LilyAna Naturals Retinol Cream - I have been using this retinol for almost two years now. I am mainly using this product to target acne rather than anti-aging. It contains very little retinol which is great for everyday use. I mainly apply this to trouble areas but can be applied to the whole face. ✨ Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment - I think it is a light consistency for an eye cream. It fits me very well as I am in my early 20s and do not need a very thick eye cream.
HOW I GREW MY SHORT EYELASHES✨
Product: GRANDE COSMETICS - GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum Key ingredients: -L-Proline: An amino acid essential to healthy, fortified lashes. -Hyaluronic Acid: Conditions and protects to prevent breakage and brings hydration to dry, brittle, or damaged lashes. -Botanical Extract Blend: A powerful combination of nutrient and antioxidant rich compounds derived from natural sources (ginseng root, chamomile flowers, and bearberry leaves); strengthens the lash follicle. -Glycosaminoglycans: Locks in moisture and boosts lash resiliency and luster. What it does: “A cult-favorite lash enhancing serum that promotes the appearance of longer, thicker looking lashes in four to six weeks, with full improvement in as little as three months.” - Sephora Why I bought: I always wanted to try this product out but was skeptical. I bought this on Amazon prime day for about 2/3 of the cost. There was lots of mixed reviews on the product— some saying it caused allergic reactions and some seeing amazing results so I didn’t know what to expect. How to use: Sweep the brush on the lids above the lash line (do not apply directly to your lashes.) Use every night. Results: The first day I used this I was afraid I was going to have an allergic reaction because I have sensitive skin. I saw horror stories of people’s eyes turning red, swollen and some causing bumps. I followed the instructions and did not have any allergic reactions. My first two weeks using the product I thought I could see small results but the product says optimum results 2 months in. Today was the 2 month mark of using this lash serum and I cannot believe the results! I did not know my natural, short lashes could grow to this length! I have heard that when you stop using this product your lashes can start to fall out so that would be one side effect if true. For right now I will continue to use this product until the bottle is empty. Would I repurchase? I would repurchase because the results are amazing but I would love to use a more natural product if it were to deliver similar results. (I recently bought a natural lash serum from Etsy and can’t wait to give it a try after this serum is empty.) I have posted pictures comparing before grande lash serum, 1 month with grande lash serum and 2 months with grande lash serum. I would love to here your experiences with lash serums! 💭⬇️
Easy 3-Step Morning Skincare Routine for a Busy Lifestyle
If I only have 1 hour to set up in the morning, I would decide to sleep more instead of having makeup. However, I still do a basic skincare routine every morning! Of course, it’s efficient and effective! I have combination skin and tend to be a little dryness in the winter. I normally use 3 or 4 items in the morning to get ready before makeup. From cleaning, face oil/serum to cream. From Aesop parsley seed facial cleanser, Josie Maran faces oil/ Jeunesse serum to Augustinus Bader the rich cream. Cleaning is always the most important part. The serum and lotion cannot be absorbed in the skin aren’t clean and clear. Aesop parsley seed cleanser includes arctic Acid, Blackcurrant Seed, and Jojoba oil. Lactic Acid gives mild exfoliation especially blended with Jojoba Oil for balancing. I choose this cleaning gel because this gel won’t give you dryness after washing the face. 2. JOSIE MARAN - 100% Pure Argan Oil Josie Maran’s argan oil is so famous even Kim Kardashian and Giselle Bouchon has publicly declared they are a fan of Josie Maran’s oil. There’s only ONE and organic ingredient in this bottle-Argan Oil. I like it as it’s a pure oil that works for winter dryness. Absorbed easily and fragrance-free are a good feature! 3. Polaar - Sérum Jeunesse I started to use Jeunesse serum from a friend’s recommendation. She fell and scratched her face. She used Jeunesse serum as the only applicable skincare product and recovered so well with no scar. Then she continued to use it as a daily serum. This experience strongly presents the renewal function of the serum. Then, I use it for a while and feel skin steady. 4. Augustinus Bader - The Rich Cream This cream is my new favorite product! According to Brand Augustinus Bader, their cream is composed of the TFC8 Trigger Factor Complex that activates the skin. I found Augustinus Bader in an article that mentioned Bobbi Brown recommends this skincare cream to her makeup clients. The price is not low-cost. Yet, pressed with one small bead can cover your whole face so one bottle can last pretty long. It’s a real bargain. This cream includes many kinds of oil that make it hydrating. I love it because it always leaves behind a dewy glow face! To sum up, Cleaning with Aesop parsley seed facial cleanser, then depends on the weather or skin condition to using Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil or Jeunesse serum, last but not least Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. Again, cleaning is a very important step. Make sure to well-wash your face to start a day!

These 3 products from glow recipe are my all time favorite. I’ve been using all 3 everyday for about a month and I can most definitely see results. My skin is so soft I can’t even put into words and my pores are smaller and my skin just looks healthier and glowing. They are more on the pricey side but worth the money to me I would recommend this for EVERYONE!
Glow Recipe toner & mask 💗
The GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner - this toner is so freaking good. I love everything about it, it has a gentle watermelon scent to it and the packaging is so luxurious. The texture of this toner is slightly different, it has a slimy texture to it; compared to my other toners. This toner is said to help refine pores and hydrate the skin. I have noticed a lot of difference with my pores, they look way smaller than what they used to look like. Also, when it comes to hydration, this bad guy here works amazingly. I use this sometimes morning & night and my skin feels and look so hydrated. I’m obsessed with this toner guys, I would also recommend this for every skin type. 💗 GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask💗 I’m obsessed with this mask too, I don’t sleep with this at night. I put this on for 10 minutes and my skin looks so smooth also my pores are refined to the Gods 👅 I actually really do like @glowrecipe , all of their products I’ve used are amazing.
Hyaluronic Acid + Tea Tree For A Smooth, Clear Complexion
Hyaluronic acid comes in different names, and one of them is sodium hyaluronate. HA is a substance that’s naturally present in our body. But, just like other substances that our body naturally produces, its regeneration slows down as we age. Some experts call hyaluronic acid the ‘fountain of youth’ as it’s a potent anti-aging substance that keeps the skin plump and youthful. It also minimizes fine lines. Cosmetic doctors use it as a main ingredient in fillers to treat their patient’s wrinkles; others use it to achieve fuller, more luscious lips. I’ve been a fan of HA since I find it helpful for my dry combination skin. Tea tree is known for its antimicrobial properties hence, it’s very popular among individuals with oily, acne-prone skin types. But, it’s not just good for those who suffer from acne. It does wonders to people who suffer from redness and irritation, just like me. I like using products with this ingredient to help with the redness on my cheeks area, and to treat my occasional zit that usually sprouts during that time of the month. Tea tree has anti-inflammatory properties that help in treating skin inflammation, redness, irritation that I usually get as I have sensitive skin. This Shiseido creamy cleanser is perfect as it doesn’t strip away my skin’s natural oils because it has HA in it. I like following it with this really affordable toner from the clean beauty brand, Human Nature. Together, they do wonders in keeping the moisture locked in my dry combination face, and treating the redness in my cheeks too. Definitely recommend this combo!
A.M. Routine ✨
After seeing a dermatologist, I have started using clindamycin gel in the AM and tretinoin cream in the PM for my persistent acne. I also have dry, sensitive skin so I am taking things slow. For 2-4 weeks, I’ll be using the clindamycin gel every other day, and then every day as prescribed. My P.M. post details how I use the tretinoin cream. Here is my A.M. routine! CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser This is a gentle, creamy cleanser that’s perfect for dry, sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft & hydrated, not stripped. PAULA'S CHOICE - Enriched Calming Toner This is a new addition to my routine, and I absolutely love it! It has a milky texture and leaves my skin feeling soft & less irritated. I apply it with a reusable fabric pad. PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega + Complex Serum This is also a new addition to my routine. I like this product, but I don’t love it. I will be trying out the Krave Great Barrier Relief serum when I’m out of this. Clindamycin Gel- I apply a pea-size amount of the gel every other day. I apply dots of the gel on my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead before gently rubbing it in. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin After letting everything dry, I apply this moisturizing cream. It’s very thick, but for the most part absorbs into the skin. There is some left on top to form a protective barrier. I re-apply throughout the day on extra dry & irritated areas. I will be trying out First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Relief Cream to see if I like it better. Rodan and Fields Soothe Sunscreen- This is a mineral, broad spectrum sunscreen with 30 SPF. I have been using it for over a year, and I really love it. It leaves my skin feeling soft & less red/irritated. I will be trying the Purito Centella Unscented sunscreen to see if I like it better than this one.

Review my routine!
Hello everyone, I am going to show you my routine every night, I hope you can read it and my thoughts will help you! remember each product works differently depending on your skin type. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ 1️⃣ I start by washing my face with fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash I really enjoy using this cleanser, It is my favorite since it leaves my skin super clean and refreshing, it has a cucumber smell that I love. 〰️ 〰️ 2️⃣ my next step is to spray YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha , I use this once I get my face clean and let it dry, also this is wonderful as a last step in my skin care routine in case I do a chemical peel or an enzyme powder to exfoliate. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ 3️⃣ my third step I only do it when I have dark spots ( thanks to my hormonal acne) on my skin, and I really like Kiehl's - Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution It feels super light, dries very quickly and I have noticed a difference in the area of my cheek where I have had dark spots. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ 4️⃣ my fourth step is to apply my moisturizer GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer This is my favorite light weight moisturizer. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, it doesn’t freak out my oily T zone but still leaves my dry skin feeling nourished. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ 5️⃣ don't forget to hydrate your lips 👄 so lastly I use LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Leaves my lips super hydrated, soft, I am so happy with this product, since I started using it the skin on my lips does not break like Before. if you got to last part, I hope it helps you some of my routine. 👏🏻 Thank you!

It does not contain water or alcohol and is based on Astragalus Membranaceus Root Extract. It makes skin feels comfortable on skin and overtime helps to even the skin tone and texture. Really want to try their hydrating cream and moisture serum.
How to Treat Dreaded ‘Maskne’ 🖤
With everything going on right now I know a lot of people (myself included right now) are wearing masks for 8+ hours. With this new addition to daily life a new problem I’ve been hearing a lot about right now is ‘maskne’ or mask acne. With your mask on your face all day causing irritation it’s perfectly normal to experience break outs. When I do get really bad break outs I tend to simplify my routine down to these basic steps: (disclaimer: I myself have oily, acne prone skin that is mainly grade 2) 1.) Cleanse - FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser A gel cleanser is best for oily skin. It’s also going to be best to get all the sebum, debris, and other gross stuff you may have under your mask from breathing in it all day. This one is gentle but effective without stripping your skin. 2.) Prep - GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum I always use niacinamide as a prep step. My favorite niacinamide serum is from Good Molecules. It’s only $6 and it absorbs really nicely into the skin without feeling sticky. This is going to help regulate oil control so you’re not over producing, calm down any inflammation your new break out may be experiencing, and help heal any pigmentation that might be left behind as the break out heals. 3.) Spot Treat - GEORGETTE KLINGER - Acne Spot Relief Then I go in with a spot treatment. I really like the Georgette Klinger spot treatment because it’s cream formula absorbs really well into the skin to dry out the break out properly without damaging the surrounding skin. It contains both salicylic acid and lactic acid so while it helping to shed dead skin cells from the face so sebum doesn’t get trapped underneath to create more break outs the salicylic acid goes deep into the pores and cleans it out. Another great option is the Clinique Acne Solutions Gel. 4.) Moisturize - FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya You always want to seal a routine with a good moisturizer. For oily skin I recommend a gel (with dry you’ll want a cream). This will help keep your skin hydrated while it’s healing without feeling too heavy. If you use too heavy of a cream with oily skin you have the potential of clogging the pores and with the mask on top it will just make things worse (With dry skin you don’t have to worry about this as much).

Kiss 💋 Marry 💍 Kill 🔪 - FIRST AID BEAUTY 🚨
💋 KISS 💋 - FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Lip Therapy (smooth application, makes your lips feel HYDRATED 💧, that hydrated feeling lasts for a decent amount of time. No smell really at all or COLOUR 💄which I do prefer in a lip product) FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser (non-irritating and very mild 🌝 Reminds me of a fancier Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanserremoves makeup, in general a good all purpose cleanser but nothing earth shattering) 💍 MARRY 💍 - FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream (this cream L.I.T.E.R.A.L.L.Y fixed my face 🤯 so so so moisturizing and soothing. I used to have dry, painful red skin around my nose and suffered this way for at least 10 years-NOT NO MORE 💁♀️ I recommend it to anyone who will listen) FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads (these are SUUUUPER popular for a reason, they make my skin feel and look GLOWY 💡 the only downside is that they are pre-moistened pads which is not so eco friendly 🌎 Hack I learned from a very smart Sephora lady: cut the pads in half for twice as many uses 😂) 🔪 KILL 🔪 - FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum (feels nice going on but my skin feels so THIRSTY 😩 after. See above for more hydrating options) In conclusion: I refer so many friends (and even enemies) to First Aid Beauty they should probably be paying me 💸
