My Go-To Hairstyle!
I always feel my best when my hair looks it’s best haha! For me my best looking hair is a messy but glam, perfectly imperfect disheveled styling. I love this look because it’s sexy and easy to achieve and frames the face well. This effortless looking style perfectly accompanies my personal style and always gets me compliments. I have really fine hair so this gives it the illusion of volume and density. I find this look takes me about 15 to 20 min to create. It’s perfect for a Date with a hottie or a night out. Here’s how I get my look! 1. After I’ve allowed my hair to air dry after a shower I section it off using clips. I take the top portion of my hair at the crown and lift it away to reveal the lower layers. 2. I then go in using my Bio Ionic Graphine MX curing wand, curing pieces of hair towards my face and away from it starting from the back of the head to the front, rotating the barrel clockwise for one piece then counterclockwise for another, except the pieces that frame my face which I curl away from my face. Using this technique gives my hair a natural looking curl. I love this wand because it’s less damaging to my hair and it has a long barrel which speeds up the process. 3. After Curling my hair completely I will set the style using the iconic L’oreal Elnett extra strong hold hairspray. This hairspray helps hold the curl in my pin straight hair. This is the hairspray that’s been used on me backstage at shows my entire career and it really works, it’s a fashion week essential! 4. Taking my Tangle Teaser hair brush I then brush out the curls to give my hair a more wavy texture. This brush is very gentile on my fine hair, I also love that you can use this brush on wet and dry hair so it’s efficient. 5. For extra shine, moisture, and a beautiful scent I apply the Balmain Hair Couture Silk Mist all over my head. I’ve been using this product literally since it first came out and it really gives my hair a luxurious feel. It has Argan oil in it which nourishes dryness. I recommend this product to anyone who needs moisture, scent, and shine all in one product! Just don’t spray too much or your hair will look greasy. 6. I finish the style with a few sprays of the Oribe Dry Texturizing spray. This amazing smelling spray gives me a boost of volume and makes my hair look perfectly tussled! It’s not quite a dry shampoo and not quite a typical texture spray, it’s kinda a hybrid of the two. This Is another product I discovered backstage at shoots and shows, and has stayed on my beauty counter for years. If you want to treat yourself to something bougie this is the finishing spray for you!

Achieve the Beachy Waves of Your Dreams🌊
For anyone who has grown out a pixie, you know there is that dreaded awkward stage. I know from experience that it would honestly feel better to give up on the grow-out than spend one more day trying to construct a style out of that mess of a mop. Don't fret; There is still hope yet, my lovelies. This relaxed wavy look is easy to recreate on even the hardest of days. Here's how to! Starting on damp hair, take your thermal protectant, I like to use KÉRASTASE - Discipline Blow-Dry Smoothing Primer it is just about the most amazing product for frizz control and heat protection. Apply Keratine Thermique evenly throughout hair. Establish deep side part and blow-dry using a small round brush, working all of the hair away from your hair line. Using a mini straightener (full size is fine, but on super short hair, it is easier to use a mini) take horizontal sections starting at the occipital bone (about two inches from the top of the back of your head) working your way forward to your hairline. In each section, twist your straightener downward as it glides through your hair. The result should look like a tightly spiraled curl (like Shirley Temple) don't worry, this is only the process, not the outcome! Do not touch the curls while they are hot or they will lose their shape, and it will be a mess to try to fix 😂 *Side note: when you get to the last section, which should be at your front hairline, be sure to direct the curl away from your face. Once you are finished curling, let the curls cool for a few minutes or until they are cool to the touch. Now is the fun part! Take your davines - This is a Sea Salt Spray and spritz the curls with it (don't soak them, just a light misting is fine). Run your fingers through your hair to break up the curls and begin molding your hair to your desired look. I brush my hair away from my face and give the roots a little shake to help will volume and separation. Don't be afraid to really get in there and play around with your hair. If you have a hard time with volume or you want to add some extra pieceyness and texture, then use ORIBE - Dry Texturizing Spray at the roots and give your hair/roots a shake. Remember, the goal is to achieve a natural wavy look. Your hair more than likely won't look like my hair in the photo. That's okay. It's not supposed to look like mine; it's supposed to look like yours! Play around with it and see what products as techniques your hair likes the most. Have fun with it!! ❤️
How to Create a Textured Pixie Look
Creating texture, especially on short hair, can be tricky and downright frustrating if you don't know how to encourage texture properly. As someone who has naturally curly texture, it has been easy for me to create that desired piecey look. For those of you whose hair resists texture at all costs, I will go as much into detail as possible to help encourage texture within your hair. To get this look you need: KENRA PROFESSIONAL - Platinum Texturizing Taffy 13 ORIBE - Dry Texturizing Spray How to: Start with clean towel-dried hair and begin blow-drying your pixie from the crown to your front hairline in a forward motion. Don't use a brush to blow dry, just use your fingers to rake through your hair. If you can, blow dry your hair following its natural growth pattern (wherever your hair wants to lay naturally), this will give you the best results and prevent any resistance from any unruly areas. Once your hair is about 90% dry (still damp/cool to the touch), grab your Platinum Texturizing Taffy and add a fingernail size to your palm (just go by the size of your nail on your pointer finger). Rub your hands together to distribute and melt product; this will ensure even distribution onto your hair. Rake fingers through your hair in a forward and backward motion. Don't be afraid to make your hair super crazy to ensure you get the product all over (you should look like you just got electrocuted). After you are finished applying, brush your fingers through your hair following your natural growth pattern to tame the craziness and begin blow-drying until hair is 100% dry. To add the finishing touches, take your Dry Texturizing Spray and apply it to the roots through the midshaft of your hair. Do this in sections working your way back to your crown. Using your fingertips, shake, and massage hair at the roots to encourage volume. Tip: For extra texture or pieceyness, take a tiny bit of your Platinum Texturizing Taffy on your fingertips and work different sections into a point by pinching and sliding your fingers from midshafts to ends. (if this is confusing let me know and I will post a demonstration) Feel free to share your finished styles or comment with any questions!
Halloween hairstyle- Maleficent
A couple years back I went as Maleficent and didnt buy a headpiece, I just decided to do my hair horn-style. The next few pictures show the process. I split my hair in the middle and tied the two sections into high pigtails. Then took both those pigtails and turned them into tight buns, trying to get the twists to extend upward rather than making a wide, fluffy bun. I thought it was pretty successful even though my hair is thin, straight and hard to style 😄 Looking at the hairstyle, this xan also be a good Minnie Mouse 😄 it all depends on how you do your makeup from there! To get rid of the flyaways, I would use a hair gel and hairspray and definitely usr a hairspray to keep the buns in place- because having thin hair, its prone to displacing from the hairstyle- alot. L'ORÉAL - Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hairspray works really well for me. #cheriepartner
No More Tangles & No More Tears
FINALLY A BRUSH PERFECT FOR NATURAL CURLS! In the past, brushing my curly hair was always a very painful experience. I would have to have very wet and conditioned hair for the detangling process to be possible. TANGLE TEEZER - The Large Wet Detangler Hairbrush I bought this just to check out one more brush for my forever tangled hair and I was amazed. When it came i thought, this is not gonna work because the touch you feel is kind of soft. However, i washed my hair and after a couple of shampooing when is really tangled I usually try to detangled with conditioner so I thought here goes nothing and I actually didn’t need that much effort, it actually detangled and I didn’t went bald or with a headache, cause I have long hair and usually takes me a long time to detangled. With the tangle teezer, I have not experienced any pain, even on day five hair. This brush melts knots on damp, conditioned, curly hair and defines your curls at the same time. I recommend this brush for detangling and styling curly hair. Truly a game-changer for me after solely using a wide-tooth calm (PAINFUL) in the past. Honestly i might buy another one just to have a backup just in case, but this brush made my day, well actually my life :) cause I’ve spent so much money on brushes and they don’t work and this simple one surprised me. The only complaint is that the brush does not have a great grip. I often find it slipping in my hand when it is wet or covered in conditioner. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend for my fellow curly hair shoppers!
BUDGET AMAZON 4C HAIR/DRY SKIN ROUTINE✨
it took me years to find anything that's works for my dry sensitive skin let alone work to help me style and detangle my 4C hair. SKIN ROUTINE: I only trust Noxzema facial cleansers to not break me out and actually CLEAN my skin. I also recommend a soft bristle spin brush to help scrub. (I strongly recommend getting the NOXZEMA - Ultimate Clear Daily Deep Pore Cleanser The one in my photo has tiny beads that are hard to wash off without soaking your shirt) Be sure to pat dry your face. Next I use the ANDALOU NATURALS - CannaCell Hydrating Toner . This product contains "hemp stem cells", not too sure what that does but it sure does help keep moisture in. It has a citrus scent as well. You can spray about 2-3 times in a cotton pad but I usually just spray on the hands and rub it into my skin. The HONEST - Hydrogel Cream is the best thing I've ever used. I used to pay $50-$60 for the Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel and never has it ever held in moisture all DAY. I never had to put lotion on my face again. My face never dried up again!!! 4C HAIR CARE: The TANGLE TEEZER - The Large Wet Detangler Hairbrush and Carol's Daughter - Hair Milk 4-in-1 ''Combing'' Crème I've only seen used on type 3 hair and was almost positive that it would not work for me. Was I extremely wrong. On wet hair the tangle teaser is the best detangler I've EVER USED. I was depressed and my hair was matted from neglect and it made the process of reviving my hair so much more tolerable. The 4 in 1 Hair milk, I used after detangling a section and applied from the ends to the roots, then brushed over them again. I wouldn't say to use this as a styling cream with type 4 hair because my hair instantly puffed back up but it did keep it soft and moisturized all day. For daily moisture I recommend using the AS I AM - DoublebButter Cream
Date Night top bun!
My hair is bone straight & extremely fine! First of all, this is probably one of the most simple hair looks you can ever create. It is easy to do, can be dressed up or down! I like to have a little volume in my hair before creating the bun since my hair is so fine and I don’t have all that much to work with. I just use my tried & true IGK - Beach Club Volume Texture Spray to add a little volume. Some dry shampoo works as well! In the photos is the step by step. High pony, twist, wrap, secure. Add some bold earrings and a bold lip to make the look super chic 🍷😘

How to get a Perfect Bun in under 5 min
You will need a comb, hairtie and hair spray (Use dry shampoo if your hair is oily, cause that what I do during workdays when i don’t have time to wash and style my hair) To start, normally i would smooth my hair out. If you have straight hair like me, I would recommend DO NOT USE A COMB unless you want a more polished sleek ballet dancer bun then that’s another case. If you have big hair or thick hair with big volume, you can use some water to smooth your hair off and go with a wide tooth comb. By using your hair to run through the hair, you get the a natural cozy bun. Moving on we gonna need a smoothing brush that you can get in any drugstore with fine bristles and working on both sides. You gonna comb your hair to the other side where you will be securing the hair and the backside of your hair up towards your hand. This process is to make sure that your hair is smooth back with no bumps. Finish up with a pony tail. Then twist the tail and wrap it around the base of the pony tail. You can start shaping your bun as you go during this process. Your hands should be holding the bun all the time to keep it in place. Last, secure the ends with another rubber band or bobby pin whichever you find easier. “TIP” if you don’t have long hair, don’t put if all the way through like a ponytail, instead, pulling the hair about half way through. Stop and twist the hair band and secure it. Use another hair band to secure the remaining hair along with the other half and secure it as a bun. tuck away any out of place strands back under the band, or use bobby pins (same to your hair color) to secure. “TIP” I like to pull some baby hair down around my face to make it more natural and “no so perfect” L'ORÉAL - Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold UV Hair Spray Finally finish it off with a hair spray. and Voila, here is your perfect bun.

Cute Hairstyle w/ a clip!
My hair type is bone straight & extremely fine! I love to curl my hair with a wand to create beachy waves. I alternate the way I wrap the hair around the barrel. I then add a texture spray (IGK - Beach Club Volume Texture Spray ) to “mess” it up a bit and and volume. I like to finish with OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil to add some shine and keep my hair healthy. This look is simple and anyone can do it. I part my hair and add a clip in the less amount of hair part of my hair to create a sleek look. I love to use clips and hair accessories to spice up a simple look! I got this one with a set off amazon. 💖

What would be my go-out hairstyle this summer 😔
Sooo, this is what my go-to going out hairstyle for this summer would be if we weren’t still staying home! (With covid cases still on the rise in Cali I’m not even gonna risk it 🥴). Like I would just LOVE to blow out my hair and go on a cute date and dance night 💔 Amika kindly sent over their new amika: - Hair Blow Dryer Brush and WOW. It’s the perfect tool to tame my medium thick, frizzy hair! 🙀 I can do my hair in less than 30 minutes and it isn’t as loud or heavy as other brush-dryer tools I’ve used in the past. It has three settings, high heat, low heat and cold air to set. It’s super easy to use and works amazing on damp hair! Make sure to always use a heat protectant product like the amika: - Brooklyn Bombshell Blowout Spray before actually using heat tools on your hair! Protect those strands 💗

Easy Beachy Wave Tip🏖
Today I want to share a few tips on how to make sexy bohemia wavy hair withs salon finish.parting your hair is something you do everyday. To start curling, begin with clean towel -dried hair. Apply a coin size of heat protection on the hair. Remember we discussed how important heat protection is. AVOID SCALP! It’s not just the chemicals that is not safe to touch the scalp. We are only applying on areas to prevent from heat damage. (Im assuming you won’t burn your scalp with iron hah) Then just use fingers to run product from root to end. You can use comb to apply it more evenly. Normally I like to start up with 180℃, I try not to go to maximum temperature to burn my hair. Then next step is to pull the hair half way up. Section is just gonna make your curling easier and a better finish look. Tip #1. Start with small portions. You want the hair get evenly heated and you don’t want to spend the whole day doing your hair. Normally a good practice is try to get the bottom half of the hair in maximum 8 portions Tip#2 Start off with the root with the iron, then twist it around the iron and slide it down (curl up) and works the way till the end slowly and smoothly. In this way you will get entire strand from the iron. remember to do it all the way to the end. No hooks girls. We want springy curls. Tip# 3 Let the curl set on your iron no more than 15 seconds and let it cool down. And don’t forget the root! Tip#4 Wait till you finish the whole curling process, pray with hair spray, and brush it out in the end. It might look too curly at the moment but no worries it will go back through out the day (just like when you curl your eyelashes) the final step is to keep the curl a little big longer and when you brush it out together, it kind of put everything together for a more natural finish.Schwarzkopf - Osis+ Freeze Pump Spray 200ml Curling iron is hard to use at first. Its not necessary to buy an expensive iron. You can even use flat iron if you already have one. It’s more about practice. Remind me to share some tips to create curls with flat iron. Eventually you will figure your own way of creating a beautiful waves in your individual style and you will learn how to curve your hair correctly and effective. Good Luck!
SILKY SMOOTH HAIR IN 35 MINS!
My hair is naturally a dry coily fro but when I want a break from my natural hair care routine or just a change of pace I wear wigs. The wig I am wearing in the photo has very thick, loose curls and it can get very dry. ⚡️Before I do any styling i always use Jane Carter Solution Curls to Go Shine on Curl Elixer. It adds shine to my hair and it also protects my hair from heat damage. This is great for people with dry curly hair. It will condition your hair and make it easier to brush out. ⚡️I like to use the REVLON - One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer to blow out all of the curls. Everyone needs this product!!!! It makes like so much easier whether I am styling my natural hair or a wig. The heat and brush combo has this hair blown out in 20 mins and makes straightening so much faster. ⚡️I use the Fahrenheit Hair Care System Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron. This is a quality iron. It goes up to 425 and gets my hair super straight. It also makes my hair look super silky and shiny and I don’t have to pass it through my hair a million times before it is straight. ⚡️JOHN FRIEDA - Frizz Ease Moisture Barrier Firm Hold Hair Spray this is my favorite hairspray. Your hair is not moving with this product! It has amazing hold and it doesn’t take away from my hairs shine. Step by Step: 1. I spray 1 pump of Shine on Curl Elixer into my hands, rub my hands together and distribute the product evenly throughout my hair. 2. I part my hair in small sections. Working from the back to the front I take the Revlon Volumizer and blow out each section. 3. I use the Fahrenheit iron to bump the ends of each layer of my hair and style my bangs 4. Spray Frizz Ease hair spray from 12 inches away into hands and scrunch hair I love this super cute hairstyle. It frames my face and It takes me 35 mins to do! #CherieCreator
