Plump and Juicy Beauty Routine
Plump and Juicy Beauty Routine
My skin is the most important thing to me on my face. When my skin is looking right and tight I feel beautiful and confident. My beauty routine can be used day or night and is great for dry skin. I love a plump, juicy, and firm look to the skin and I’ve found this system keeps me looking snatched! It’s important to do this routine in order for the best results. 1. I start with cleansing the skin using the Kate Somerville Eradikate daily foaming cleanser after I’ve dampened my face with warm water. I love this cleanser because of its acne treating ingredients like 3% sulfur. I find it gives me a really deep clean and removes both my makeup and whatever dirt I have. I like to massage it into my skin for about 30 seconds and then rinse with warm water. 2. After I pat my face dry with a clean towel I then tone the skin with the Glow Recipe Watermelon glow toner. This toner has a lovely smell and feel, it has PHA and BHA to tighten pores and plump the skin. I simply apply it on the palms of my hands and pat it gently on to the face and neck. 3. This product is new for me but I’m absolutely obsessed with it. The Kate Somerville DermalQuench liquid lift serum is kinda a game changer for me. It comes in a spray bottle which you must shake well and then you spray it all over the face and neck, it tingles on the skin and foams, you must immediately massage it into the skin after application. This serum honestly firms, lifts, hydrates, and tightens the skin. It’s an oxygen facial and a hyaluronic serum all in one and I’ve seen immediate results with it. 4. The lashes mustn’t be neglected! I then use the Grande Lash lash enhancing serum on the base of my lashes. I’ve seen very fast results with this product, my lashes are growing in thicker, longer, and darker after using the serum day and night. 5. Once those serums have soaked in I then apply IS Clinical’s Youth eye complex to the entirety of the outside area of the eye. This product was gifted to me and I’ve been using it for 2 months now. It gives nice hydration and luminosity to the eye area and is Gentile. I apply half a pump to my ring fingers and pat the product in all around the eye. 6. The moisturizing step is the most important! I have a serious addiction the the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. I’ve never tried a moisturizer that made my skin look so good. This moisturizer activates dormant stem cells in the skin and deeply hydrates. It has a Devine creamy texture that literally melts into the skin. I dispense 2 pumps onto my finger tips and begin massaging it all over my face and neck. I do a little lymphatic drainage by massaging from the center of the face towards the outer part of the face, then down the neck to reduce fluid build up in the face and decrease puffing especially I the morning. The best part Is this moisturizer perfectly primes my skin for makeup application as well. 7. This last step isn’t necessary unless I’m feeling like I need an extra jolt of moisture and glow. If I need it I will use the Augustinus Bader The Face Oil on top of the Rich Cream. This gorgeous oil plumps my skin and adds the most healthy luminous glow.

Hair Routine for Sleek Shine
Hair Routine for Sleek Shine
I have the most over processed hair, after nearly 10 years of modeling, dying my hair every few months, and over styling my hair has really been through it. Even tho my hair is damaged it doesn’t stop me from attempting to make it look healthy. I have quite fine pin straight hair, it’s very dense in some places and sparse in others like around my hairline. I have a few products that really help me to make my hair look it’s best. For me I feel my hair looks it’s best when it shines and appears damage free without looking greasy o heavy. This is a great routine for someone with my kind of hair, for someone who needs to restore life and youth to their hair. 1. Once I’m in the shower I apply the Kérastase Resistance Shampoo to the palms of my hands and begin massaging it in at the roots and working my way down to the ends of the hair. Massaging the shampoo improves circulation in the scalp to stimulate growth and really helps thoroughly clean the hair. This shampoo is a strengthening product for brittle, damaged hair, with split ends; so it’s perfect for my hair. It’s cleansing without being too harsh. I then completely rinse the shampoo from my head with warm water. 2. I next apply the Kérastase Resistance Conditioner which is the match to the shampoo starting from the ends of my hair and working up to the crown, but don’t apply the conditioner to the roots or it will weigh the hair down. I let the conditioner sit in my hair for 3-5 min for maximum penetration before brushing with my favorite Tangle Teaser wet hair brush and then rinsing. This conditioner leaves my hair feeling lustrous and moisturized. The conditioner helps with strengthening the hair so it doesn’t break and improves the appearance of shine. 3. This is a step I personally take after I’ve towel dried my hair, while the pores on my scalp are still open from the warm shower. I use the Hers Minoxidil topical solution on the patchy parts of my hairline where hair has slowed or stopped growing due to multiple burns from hot tools over my many years modeling. Minoxidil is a proven and safe solution to stimulate hair regrowth. I’ve been using it for months now and I really see improvements and new growth. Kinda amazing! I have to use this day and night on my hairline for best results. 4. I always let my hair air dry about 50% before I go in with the Kérastase Genesis Defense Thermique fortifying blow dry fluid. This hair serum provides anti-breakage protection and tames frizz without weighing the hair down. I don’t normally blow dry my hair but if I did I know this will provide protection and just gives my hair the boost of moisture it needs especially on the ends. I spray this from the mid lengths of the hair to the ends and brush it through. 5. Once my hair is completely air dried I finish my routine with a simple hair oil like the OGX Renewing Extra Penetrating oil. I apply a dime sized amount to the palms of my hands and run it through the lengths of my hair focusing on the ends and avoiding the roots. This really helps lock in the moisture from the other products and leaves my hair with an expensive looking shine. It tames my fly aways and completely eliminates any frizz I have at my ends. Just use it sparingly if you have thin hair because you run the risk of weighing the hair down. 6. This is an extra step that I do once in a while but is completely necessary to maintain healthy liking hair if you’re hair is super damaged like mine. I use the Olaplex No 3 hair perfector before shampooing on damp towel dried hair and leave it in for 15 to 30 min before hopping in the the shower and continuing with my normal hair routine, which means if you chose to do this step you use this hair product like a mask before shampooing. This is a hair stylist staple because it really works! It repairs and strengthens the hair and you can see a difference in a single use!

When I’m quarantining I still like to be glam, whether I’m going on a walk to get some fresh air, having a socially distanced hang out with a few friends, or simply hopping on a zoom call; I love to feel and look my best with this simple but sexy look. Since we all have to wear masks this look has more emphasis on the eyes and making them look beautiful but not too done up. 1. On a well moisturized face I begin by applying the iconic tarte - Shape Tape Concealer on all the places I need coverage like: under the eyes, chin, nose, and between the brows on the forehead. I don’t like to use foundation as I find it covers too many of my freckles which I like to see peaking through so applying concealer just where I need it allows me to cover exactly what I need. The Shape Tape concealer is amazing; it covers basically anything, blends seamlessly into the skin, and has a very natural finish that doesn’t look like makeup. I’ve used it for years and it’s simply the best. 2. Next I move on to eyes before I finish the rest of my face. Using a fluffy shadow brush of your choice I apply MAC’s MAC - Studio Fix Sculpt & Shape Contour Palette powder as a shadow base all around the eye for a natural looking shadow. I like to blend the shadow up and out to elongate the eye. Taupe from MAC is the absolute best contour color and can be used anywhere on the face, it’s great because it’s so versatile. 3. I then take a dark brown shade of shadow mixed with black shadow and apply that to the upper lash line for definition. MAC - MAC Eyeshadow 4. Using the surratt - Relevée Lash Curler then curl my lashes squeezing them at the base, mid length, and ends of the lash for a strong curl. This curler opens up wide so you can fit your entire eye in the device and get a nice even curl. 5. Next using the MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - At Lash’d Lengthening and Curling Mascara I apply several coats focusing the majority of the product at the base. This mascara is great for separating and lengthening. 6. Then taking the #Huda Beauty - False Lashes[products]#[FiveStars] Harmony #17 lashes I use a little bit of Duo lash glue and apply them to the corners of my eye. I loveeee this lash because it’s perfect for the outer corners of the eyes to help achieve a cat like effect. 7. Now moving back to the skin I go in with thePATRICK TA - Major Beauty Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush in the shade “she’s Passionate” and apply this to the apples of the cheeks and forehead and brow bone. This shade is perfect for my skin tone because it gives a flushed sun burnt look and the formula is beautiful and bendable. 8. I then add warmth and definition to the face using the MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect in “Tan-Tastic!” On the top of the forehead, under the jaw, contours of cheeks, and lightly across the bridge of the nose. I love this bronzer and if you want to know why check out my last post on the battle of the bronzers! 9. With a fluffy brush like the MAC 240S brush I take my PAT McGRATH LABS - Sublime Perfection Setting Powder and apply the powder to the forehead and T-Zone to eliminate shine. This powder is one of the best I’ve ever used and it has a really natural skin-like texture. I don’t like when powders look cakey but this one doesn’t have that appearance. 10. For the brows I use the amazing URBAN DECAY - Brow Blade Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil & Ink Stain in shade “Cool Cookie” to fill in the brows where needed. This product is so efficient because the combination of the marker and pencil gives a very natural look to the brow without it feeling heavy. 11. The last step is to highlight the high points of the face like the tops of the cheekbones, tip of the nose, inner corners of the eye and center of eyelids, brow bone, Cupid’s bow, and chin. I absolutely love the NATASHA DENONA - Face Glow Cream Shimmer stick in “Light” this product gives a super natural sheen and highlight to the skin, it just helps everything look juicy and plump!

BATTLE OF THE BRONZERS
BATTLE OF THE BRONZERS
Calling all pale bitches!!! Both of these bronzers are some of the best and most hyped of the moment. For me my Irish genetics give me plenty of freckles but definitely not enough of a tan to look alive and healthy. Bronzer has always been a surefire way to add the perfect amount of glow in the right spots to give the illusion of a sun kissed appearance. When I buy a bronzer I look for a few crucial factohhrs like the tone and color of the bronzer, formulation, wear time, ease of application, and overall natural looking appearance. This summer I was on the hunt for that perfect bronze and I picked up these two great options one from the amazing Marc Jacobs beauty and the other a new bronzer from Charlotte Tilbury. The Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer in the shade 104 Tan-Tastic retails for $49 and gives you .8oz/ 25g of product, while the Charlotte Tilbury Aurbrush Matte bronzer retails for $55 and gives you .56oz/ 16g of product. So right off the bat you’re getting more product for your buck with the Marc Jacobs bronzer, but how do they compare? Charlotte’s bronzer has hydrating Hyaluronic acid infused in the powder for a more hydrated feel, however I don’t really see how that’s practical in a pressed powder and when using the bronzer I didn’t feel any more or less hydrated. Marc Jacobs’s bronzer doesn’t have any special ingredients but I don’t think it really makes a big difference. What I care about is how they perform and look on the skin. I’ve found that Charlotte’s bronzer has less color pay-off when compared to Marc’s. I’d say the pay off on both is light and buildable but I find I don’t have to use as much product with Marc’s bronzer, for me this is a plus because I don’t have to spend as much time trying to build up the color. I’ve also noticed that on my skin Charlotte’s bronzer has a more patchy appearance, especially if I’m building up the color and I have to add some more in some spots, it doesn’t grab to the skin quite as well as Marc’s bronzer which I’ve found gives a more seamless build and blend. Now for color I personally use the medium shade in both brand’s products. Charlotte’s bronzer has more of a warm orange tone and Marc’s Is a bit cooler and browner. I think Marc’s bronzer gives me the warmth I need but also the shape and definition necessary to contour my face while with Charlotte’s I need to add contour on top of the bronzer to add definition to the face. In terms of staying power they’re both pretty equal, I didn’t find I needed to reapply product through the day with either. That being said the overall finish of the Marc Jacobs bronzer was more natural and seamless looking. In conclusion you’re getting a better product from the Marc Jacobs O!Mega bronzer, in terms of color, finish, price, and amount of product, in my opinion. Both are great but in the battle of the bronzers Marc Jacobs is the winner!

My Go-To Hairstyle!
My Go-To Hairstyle!
I always feel my best when my hair looks it’s best haha! For me my best looking hair is a messy but glam, perfectly imperfect disheveled styling. I love this look because it’s sexy and easy to achieve and frames the face well. This effortless looking style perfectly accompanies my personal style and always gets me compliments. I have really fine hair so this gives it the illusion of volume and density. I find this look takes me about 15 to 20 min to create. It’s perfect for a Date with a hottie or a night out. Here’s how I get my look! 1. After I’ve allowed my hair to air dry after a shower I section it off using clips. I take the top portion of my hair at the crown and lift it away to reveal the lower layers. 2. I then go in using my Bio Ionic Graphine MX curing wand, curing pieces of hair towards my face and away from it starting from the back of the head to the front, rotating the barrel clockwise for one piece then counterclockwise for another, except the pieces that frame my face which I curl away from my face. Using this technique gives my hair a natural looking curl. I love this wand because it’s less damaging to my hair and it has a long barrel which speeds up the process. 3. After Curling my hair completely I will set the style using the iconic L’oreal Elnett extra strong hold hairspray. This hairspray helps hold the curl in my pin straight hair. This is the hairspray that’s been used on me backstage at shows my entire career and it really works, it’s a fashion week essential! 4. Taking my Tangle Teaser hair brush I then brush out the curls to give my hair a more wavy texture. This brush is very gentile on my fine hair, I also love that you can use this brush on wet and dry hair so it’s efficient. 5. For extra shine, moisture, and a beautiful scent I apply the Balmain Hair Couture Silk Mist all over my head. I’ve been using this product literally since it first came out and it really gives my hair a luxurious feel. It has Argan oil in it which nourishes dryness. I recommend this product to anyone who needs moisture, scent, and shine all in one product! Just don’t spray too much or your hair will look greasy. 6. I finish the style with a few sprays of the Oribe Dry Texturizing spray. This amazing smelling spray gives me a boost of volume and makes my hair look perfectly tussled! It’s not quite a dry shampoo and not quite a typical texture spray, it’s kinda a hybrid of the two. This Is another product I discovered backstage at shoots and shows, and has stayed on my beauty counter for years. If you want to treat yourself to something bougie this is the finishing spray for you!

My Beauty Journey
My Beauty Journey
I started modeling at 17 years old which was also around the same time I started to live my life fully as female. I had always had a passion for fashion design, but modeling seemed like a pipe dream. I would look through fashion magazines like Vogue Italia and I-D and fantasize about wearing these beautiful outfits and having my hair and makeup done. I at the time I had no idea that I would actually become a top model. When I started modeling I was just an awkward lanky kid in my senior year of high school, doing small test shoots locally in Boston; by the time I graduated I had signed a modeling contract in Paris! When I arrived in Paris I began to work with people who dedicated their lives to beauty, fashion, and design. The energy of the Parisian woman, her coolness, chic attitude, and androgynous glamour inspired me. This cool boyish French girl look defined my early years there. All the while I’m shooting more and walking more fashion shows, taking mental notes backstage on all the tips and tricks the makeup artist are doing on me. When I eventually moved to NYC I almost immediately got swept up in the queer underground nightlife scene. Suddenly the boyish elegance of Paris didn’t make sense in this new world of house music, bondage gear, and glitter. I took more inspiration from the club kids surrounding me, my crew of friends were all creatives, some in fashion, others fabulous drag queens. Suddenly beauty became exciting and experimental! My career was on the rise and I began to regularly work with iconic makeup artists like Pat McGrath and Diane Kendal, every day paying close attention to their techniques and products so I could later recreate their looks when I went out with my friends. After 3 crazy years in NYC I felt a calling to go back to Paris, by this point I was 24 years old and felt established in my career. Beauty became less about extravagant looks and more about sensuality. My favorite makeup looks were inspired by the mystery of Paris and it’s romantic energy. After a year of Paris I needed a dramatic change so I packed my bags and moved to the Los Angeles where I still reside. Now I embrace a bit of everything I’ve learned from every place I’ve been. Some days I am barefaced and others I’m fully painted. I feel free to explore and free to express! I’m so curious to see what I get inspired by next..

Aging like wrinkles is inevitable, but I get a cure to postpone it!
Aging like wrinkles is inevitable, but I get a cure to postpone it!
I have dry and sensitive skin. When I turned 23, I suddenly found I had wrinkles partly visible on my face (a few under-eye areas, a few expression lines), which is a signal of aging. It is that time that I realized moisturizing is far from enough to solve aging problems and those appropriate choices of products that are biomimetic, rich in antioxidant ingredients, plant extracts to help skin recover from radical damages, etc. Here is my share of what products of daily routine I use to postpone aging. CLARINS - Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate This serum is well-known for its hydrolipidic and biomimetic formula, and I got to know this on ins promotion. It contains Turmeric, which specifically addresses signs of aging, organic Teasel, Beautyberry, Huang Qi (one occidental herb), cocoa, and up to 21 plant extracts that eliminate toxins and revives the skin. The scent is beautiful, and the texture is lightweight, It absorbs quickly and does not leave any sticky residue behind. The serum leaves my skin feeling brighter and healthier. I use it am and pm every day. When I get exposed to intense ultraviolet rays in the day, I will apply more portions to my skin. The other day my skin got recovered and will not seem dark. Wrinkles like expression lines are less visible as my face puffs up and reveals radiance. #fresh - Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask[products]# It is a black tea complex of black tea extract, black tea ferment, blackberry leaf extract, and lychee seed extract. My dermatologist friend recommended me this one. I instantly fell in love with this product the first time I tried it. It softens the skin with a cooling sensation. I love the cloud-like whipped texture, I feel silky and velvet on my face after applying a generous amount of it after cleansing. I use it 2 to 3 times per week, 5-10 minutes per time. Aesop - Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Eye Serum I am a fan of this natural and secure brand. This serum is potent and formulated with vitamin C and antioxidants to care for the delicate eye area. I probably have a few wrinkles in under-eye areas, and I sit in front of computers all day. The scent is herbaceous, floral, and fresh, which is nice to have. The texture is medium-weight, which is acceptable for the eye area. I apply 3 to 5 drops am and pm each day. After using it, my eye area gets replenished. I have been using it for one year, and my eye wrinkles seem to be less evident, which I credit a lot to the Parsley seed, Lavender Stem, and Blue Chamomile ingredients. All of these products have been used for over one year, and I see evident results in their anti-aging function.

“A gentle, PHA- and BHA-infused watermelon toner that hydrates skin and minimizes the appearance of pores” performance | full star | gotta give it to ‘em simply for the fact they they say minimizes the APPEARANCE of pores. Yeah pores don’t actually be changing size, but they can appear lil’ when they don’t have a bunch of nasty’s in them. Literally my new favorite toner though, no burning/tingling sensation and thicc enough to pour into your hand texture | full star | Stan with this texture, as I said above you can plop some right into your hand, makes it easier to pat into skin & no need to waste a cotton pad scent | full star | I am stunned at how bomb this smells! Herbal & fruity, but not the artificial watermelon (yes I’m calling you out jolly ranchers) packaging | full star | the grooves in the bottle make it much easier to hang on to, def need as a clutzy b. Plus the pink top is cute af annnnd the bottle looks real cute wit a single stem flower in it, or two if you really wanna live ingredients | .65 star | there is super subtle fragrance in there, but everything else is all good, especially that cactus water to make it thicc value | .75 star | $34 is a little on the higher end for toner, but honestly worth it with how amaze this product is Total 5.4 out of 6 stars

Best & Worst⁉⁉ My Personal Ranking of 4 Hyped B5 Products...
Best & Worst⁉⁉ My Personal Ranking of 4 Hyped B5 Products...
Vitamin B5 helps keep skin soft, smooth and healthy. It has an anti-inflammatory effect that can help stimulate your skin's healing processes. I have combo skin and I've tried 4 hyped B5 products. Here is my personal ranking of them: 1⃣LA ROCHE-POSAY Baume B5 2⃣SKINCEUTICALS Hydrating B5 Gel 3⃣The Ordinary B5 4⃣LA ROCHE-POSAY Serum B5 The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 $6.8 for 30ml  This is an amazing product at an inciting price tag. You really can't go wrong with $6.00 for this goodness. It has a sticky consistency with no scent. When you rub it into your skin, it suds up a bit. After a moment it seeps into the skin. Another thing to note is that it peeled under my sunscreen and makeup products, so I just used it in the evening.   LA ROCHE-POSAY - Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum $30 for 30ml The one major flaw in this product is the fragrance. It is a heavily perfumed scent that takes a long time to disappear and its not suitable for sensitive skin. The texture is sticky but it didn't ball up on my face. It seemed to absorb slowly, which means I had to wait along time to apply moisturizer over top.  It may have worked to leave my skin hydrated but I will not repurchase it for the texture and fragrance.  SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel $83 for 30ml The price is kinda steep but you get what you pay for!  The texture is silky and a little goes a long way. And it didn't ball up at all. It keeps the skin hydrated and plump. Although the product is pricey, it lasts for a long time and does the job, thus it is worth it. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 for Dry Skin Irritations $15 for 40ml This is my holy grail irritated skin rescue product! When I suffered from sensitive skin conditions or went too hard on the retinol, it works well to speed up the skin recovery process and moisturize dry patches. My skin even gets sting when I apply  La mer, but this balum helps so much to reduce the irritation and soothe the healing skin.  I HIGHLY recommend for any irritated skin that needs quick healing. If you have any questions or suggestions hmu 😘💖‼️
