GLOW SCREEN HYPE?
I just wanna chant “I scream for for glow screen!” Haha. I really looooovvee this stuff. To be honest I really didn’t want to love it... it’s so hyped and expensive. I really love my Aveeno matte sunscreen, ugh I just didn’t want to turn my back on her. BUT, I got this little sucker in a sample kit and now I’m hooked 😩 It honestly just matches my skin tone so well that I haven’t even been putting on foundation. I really don’t wear make up everyday because it truly ruins your skin. My friends were like ummm did you break your “no foundation unless it’s a special occasion rule?” I was like no y’all it’s my sunscreen!!! It is a little oily but nothing too major. And a little goes a long way, I’ve been using this little guy everyday since end of July! If you love this info, please like this post. ❤️ HOW I USE IT It’s my last step in my skin care routine. 1. I put a dot on each surface of my face. I put extra on my left side because that’s where the sun hits me the most while driving 2. I rub it it VERY LIGHTLY, just to get it to cover the area 3. I use my beauty blender and dab it like I would foundation #Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40[products]# WHAT IS IT? Glowscreen perfects skin, creating a totally dewy base layer for your look. Just a golden hour skin update 😍
COVID & quarantine have taught me a lot- most importantly being how essential it is to be consistent in order to see skincare results. Before the stay at home orders I had no consistent routine and just grabbed whatever & incorporated all kinds of stuff I didn’t need or my skin didn’t like. My Favorite Barely There Complexion Products
🤎 After being quarantined in my apartment for most of the year I really cannot tolerate the feeling of a full coverage foundation on my face. After months of not wearing any makeup the most I can tolerate now is a tinted sunscreen or a tinted moisturizer so here are some of my favorites I’ve found. 🤎 Supergoop Glow Screen: Man oh man is this a beautiful product. If you are oily you will probably hate it, but if you want a glow this product DELIVERS. It’s pretty light coverage and very dewy...almost like a tinted face gloss. When I first apply it it does kind of look like I’ve put liquid highlighter all over my face but when it sets it just gives this dewy, glowing from within beautiful complexion. It has enough coverage to even out my skin tone but I definitely would not say it’s enough to cover blemishes. But if you just want a glowy, light coverage summery look you’ll love this stuff. Once it sets it feels almost completely nonexistent on the skin and wears beautifully throughout the day. 🤎 Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter: This one is definitely the dewiest out of the four and I usually will mix it with another complexion product because on its own it’s a bit much for me. This is honestly really similar to the Supergoop Glow Screen but minus the SPF and even more dewy. It has enough coverage to even out the complexion but not to really cover anything. I really like to mix this with more matte full coverage products to sheer them out and add some glow. 🤎 Hourglass Hyaluronic Skin Tint: This is the most full coverage of the four. This one has an SPF 15, a natural finish, and light to medium coverage however it still feels incredibly lightweight and wears well throughout the day. It’s also a really good product for dry skin and doesn’t get flaky or cakey at all throughout the day. This tends to be what I reach for when I have some blemishes I want to conceal but I still don’t feel like doing a full blown foundation. 🤎 Koa Anti Pollution SPF 45: This is the least coverage and the most matte of the four. It has....almost no pigment but just enough to very mildly even out skin tone. It has a pretty pinky toned shade to it and dries down to a soft matte finish. This is a good product if you’re looking to just mattify your complexion and not cover much. This is honestly incredibly lightweight for a mineral sunscreen. It has a liquify, lotiony consistency and no white cast (at least on me but for deeper skin tones it might).
An invisible sunscreen?!
Are you ready for a sunscreen that truly feels invisible and lightweight on the skin? Well then look to the Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 . This is a chemical based sunscreen that uses filters such as 3% avobenzone, 8% homosalate, 5% octisalate, and 4% octocrylene to provide your skin with broad spectrum sun protection. It has an spf of 40 and PA+++. Other notable ingredients in the formula include shea butter, jojoba esters, dimethicone, and tocopherol. This is probably the strangest sunscreen I’ve ever used. It has a translucent silicone-like gel texture that feels a bit greasy as you’re applying it. This takes a couple minutes to set but once it does, it leaves you with a velvety soft finish that no longer feels greasy or heavy. It made my skin look matte and blurred. It really felt like I wasn’t wearing any sunscreen. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this because it didn’t make my skin oiler throughout the day, and it was surprisingly moisturizing which allowed me to skip my daytime moisturizer. I didn’t experience any pilling as this layers well over other products. Reapplication was also a breeze since this didn’t disrupt the previous layers. As you apply more layers though, it can start to feel a bit greasy which wasn’t that bad because I never felt it unless I touched my face. It didn’t ever feel heavy even with multiple reapplications. It’s also waterproof and sweat resistant up to 40 mins. I was worried this might clog my pores but it didn’t. There wasn’t any irritatations or breakouts so that’s a win. This can act as a makeup primer but I don’t really wear makeup so I didn’t test it with makeup. Overall, I have to say I had a great experience with this sunscreen. I think most skin types can use this without any issues unless you’re sensitive to certain chemical filters. Would I repurchase this though? I’m not quite sure yet because of the price and that I didn’t really quite love it. I have to love something to want to repurchase it. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, then go ahead and try it. There’s a dupe for this that I’ll be trying and reviewing next for you guys.

Hate this Sunscreen
Here's why: hate the fragrance (irritating to the skin) hate that it has alcohol (irritating to the skin) chemical sunscreens only last an hour anyways MISSHA - Missha All-around Safe Block Essence Sun Milk Sorry just don't like this. Wish I didn't buy it 👎🏻

Supergoop! MATTE SCREEN 👌
I recently received a box from Cherie and it had the Supergoop! - Mattescreen SPF 40 inside. I was really excited to try this product because this brand has stellar reviews. My only concern was whether it would pill on my skin. This concern was put to rest once I applied it the first time. The product feels very nice on my skin. I usually have very dry skin so I moisturize daily and was a little worried since matte products are not usually ones I reach for first. However, this product was not drying in the least. Application was smooth and I instantly saw results. My pores were slightly blurred, the shininess of my skin was dulled and smooth. The product has a nice tint to it that blended nicely with my skin and a little bit goes a long way. Overall I give the product a 10/10 ⭐️’s. I will definitely be purchasing again once this one is gone. THANK YOU CHERIE!!! #CherieCreator

Greatest Sunscreen Of All Time
I have never found a sunscreen that works so well. It is not irritating, doesn’t cause breakouts, and it feels comfortable to wear. I also love that it has such a high protection rating. I have repurchased this 10+ times and will continue to repurchase! It is very affordable, although a bit hard to find. If you have a hard time finding sunscreen you can wear everyday, I highly recommend give the Purito Unscented SPF 50 a try. PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+

Review Time! Ft. @purito_official 👏🏼 🌿 Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF 50+ PA++++ I already know this is not the first time you’ve seen this sunscreen on Instagram but my opinion about this differs from most others. We all know this is a cult favorite, but this is probably the worst sunscreen I have ever tried on my face and I’m so sad about it, I didn’t want to believe it. I have acne-prone/ combo to dry skin. It was nice to see that this sunscreen worked well for those with oily skin, and that it was hydrating enough for dry skin. But no. Although the texture was very nice, this just wasn’t it for me. My skin disagreed with this so bad.. After about a week and a half/maybe two weeks of use, I started breaking out really really bad. I know this was the culprit because it was the newest thing I introduced into my skincare routine at the time. I had 4 huge zits on my face at once it was so disturbing for me. Especially after all the progress I made, I felt so set back. Side note: Yes, I know this is a chemical sunscreen and although I naturally like mineral sunscreens better, I’ve never had a chemical sunscreen make my skin react the way this one did. 🥺 🌿 Comfy Water Sun Block SPF 50+ PA++++ Once I seen this sunscreen contained Zinc Oxide, helllo mineral sunscreen !!!!! I had to get it. Regardless of the Unscented Centella SPF not working out for me, I genuinely love the brand Purito, they have other amazing products that worked so well for me (hint hint* the unscented centella serum is LIFE CHANGING), so I decided to give this one a try! This definitely did not further any irritation or breakouts (THANK YOU). Zinc is an ingredient that my skin loves so I was definitely happy with the results of this product! It’s lightweight, yet very hydrating for my dry skin. This is definitely a sunscreen I’d re-purchase. Highly recommend giving this a try if you have acne-prone skin, and overall think it’s better to stick to mineral sunscreens over chemical. xo

Warning for those who use any sort of treatments
Hello again! So if you’ve been following me you know I use a lot of skin treatments as well as chemical peels/exfoliants. Here is a prime example of why you always use sunscreen! I am not one to typically burn unless I blatantly ignore my skin. I was in the sun yesterday evening (when the sun is at one of its weakest during the day) and I didn’t wear sunscreen on my face and guess what! My skin got red and irritated. Today my face is super sensitive and slightly itchy. To try and easy the pain, I’ve used some aloe along with a rose water mist to keep my face moisturized without hurting it more. I know that the reason my face is red is because I didn’t protect my face after using treatments because the rest of my body isn’t even pink in the slightest and I wasn’t outside even long enough to think this would happen. No matter what skin type you are, your face needs protection. So tip of the day... SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN!
