60 second miracle

Aveeno has always been a favorite brand of mine. I have an obsession with oats haha so naturally I love a good amount of products from them. This is honestly a life saver, it literally takes 60 seconds. I love the smell and texture, my face feels like a baby’s butt after I use it. Make sure you point the shower head away from you and turn the water on hot so that some steam can come up. It’s like a steam facial. It’s 6 bucks so it’s definitely worth the try :) I don’t think you will be disappointed SUNBURN ALERT🌞 You should always be wearing sunscreen in general but definitely remember to wear it if you do this mask :) Aveeno - Positively Radiant 60 Second In-Shower Facial Cleanser

Exfoliation 101 - Let's burst some myths!
Let's get to know about exfoliants more! No matter if you're a skincare junkie, expert or just a beginner, skin exfoliation can be very tricky and confusing and most of the mainstream skin advices can be minimally backed by science and geared towards selling the product or giving you false information. That's how skincare myths are formed. I'm talking about some pretty known myths about Exfoliation : ✨Like, Physical exfoliants/scrubs are bad for your skin and they cause micro-tears that lead to infection or they're worse than Chemical exfoliants: Physical exfoliants that contain irregular granular sizes and shapes are definitely going to irritate your skin. But if you're a well-experienced skincare person or someone who knows how to handle gentle, small granular exfoliants well like professionals, in such hands it can be a very effective. Take Micro-dermabrasion or Dermaplaning for instance. If you haven't done it before it's likely to cause you some irritation, I wouldn't say damage as it's a truly strong and deep term to use. Our skin can naturally heal itself to a large degree, that self-healing capability can be overstressed with exogenous (outside/physical) factors and sometimes Indogenous (inner) factors such as your ethnicity, genetics and some skin conditions like dermititis, rosacea or psoriasis. So, my point here is, the myth that only physical exfoliators cause any damage to our skin is incorrect. On top of that, physical exfoliants cause micro-tears is a far stretched myth that doesn't have enough scientific evidence to support. The thing about it is anything harsh on our skin is going to cause inflammation and redness but chemical exfoliants can cause the same if done too much. For our skin to break or tear and get a cut there needs to be a lot of pressure and sharpness to the object. The scrubs don't necessarily tear/cut our skin unless you're rubbing it too harsh or with a lot of pressure and over-doing it. Chemical exfoliators can overstress and irritate our skin at the same degree as well, if overdone. Damage is a strong word for any skincare regimen that is backed by science. It's a fairly vast topic to discuss here but here's the crux of the topic that I'm trying to highlight. Not over-exfoliating is the only key to keep our skin healthy and non-irritated. Be it physical or chemical exfoliants. We need some of the dead skin cells on our Stratum Corneum. Meaning, we should let our Stratum Corneum have a layer of some dead skin cells along with it's biome. The diverse yet integrated functions of the SC collectively serve to detect, protect, respond, and/or adapt against several exogenous factors. Now, why I like or majority of people like chemical exfoliants is because they seem to be hustle free, you apply a thin layer and leave it overnight or for few minutes and it thins down our Stratum Corneum that is the deal skin cells on our skin as well as penetrates deeper in skin and decongests it. But for many people chemical exfoliants can be quite intimidating and if they like to do manual Exfoliation it's totally fine as long as they're not putting a lot of pressure and overdoing it. ✔️👍 I like both physical and chemical exfoliation. I use these chemical facial peeling solutions or masks as well as gentle scrubs to take care of my dead skin. These are some of the exfoliators I use. These are all types of exfoliators, Physical - Scrubs, Peeling gels Chemical - Facial AHA, BHA masks, solutions, in shower facials These are the ones I don't find so attractive for the price: Scrubs: 1. @avantskincare Gentle Rose beautifying facial exfoliant 114$avant - Gentle Rose Beautifying Face Exfoliant The ones I like: Scrubs: 1. @skinandco Face gommage 26$SKIN&CO - Truffle Therapy Gommage Peeling gels: 1. @wishfulskin Yo Glow enzyme scurb 39$HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub 2. @saturdayskin Rub-a-dub Refining peel gel 28$SATURDAY SKIN - Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel Instant Facial masks/solutions: 1. @theordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 7.20$The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 2. @olehenriksen PHAT Glow Facial™ Mask 50$OLE HENRIKSEN - PHAT Glow Facial Mask 3. @aveeno POSITIVELY RADIANT® 60 Second In-Shower Facial Aveeno - Positively Radiant 60 Second In-Shower Facial Cleanser

SHISEIDO - WASO: Quick Gentle Cleanser Size -150 ML $38.00CAD This is a DErmatologist-tested. Non-comedogenic. Paraben-free. Alcohol-free alcohol-free, oil-free, honey-gel cleanser from WASO, Shiseido. The main formula is Honey Extract and royal jelly extract to remove dirt, excess oil and meanwhile nurture skin by delivering amino acitds, vitamins and minerals for moisturizing. The element is quite simple and very friendly to sensitive skins and beauty lovers with thin skin. Contains Trimethylglycine with humectant properties to reduce skin troubles. One thing I really like about this product is that you can use it when your skin is in a bad condition (when i have terrible acnes during that time of the month), I felt my skin is calmed and hydrated during that time.Because it is very gentle, the cleansing power is mild as well. I normally use it in the morning just to remove the excess oil. Personally I do not recommend use it for heavy make-ups since it's too gentle and you may ended up with makeup left overs. It foams up but not ridiculously so. Its not drying on the skin. If you are looking for a soft, gentle cleanser, this is definitely the one you should go with. You would love the smooth, fresh and silky feeling of your face after using it and it leaves skin soft and smooth and smelling good ! SHISEIDO - WASO Fresh Jelly Lotion SIZE 5 oz/ 150 mL $40.00CAD Like the other products in WASO series, this lotion is Dermatologist-tested. Non-comedogenic. Paraben-free. Mineral oil-free. Alcohol-free. Key ingredients contained in the formula are: White Jelly Mushroom;Aqua-in-pool and Glycerin;Trimethylglycine, Trehalose, Erythritol and Lamium Album Extract and Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate. These ingredients are mainly help moisturizing the skin to deeper layers while reducing redness. The main function is to help optimize your skin pH balance. A refreshing gel-to-liquid essence that restores and hydrates the skin. I really like it. It moisturise my skin really good without being greasy. The scent is lovely for me. Normally I use after toner and before moisturizer, but if you have a serum that enhances the performance of its following product, use that serum before this. And the packaging is cute. Its fun the way the jelly melts into a liquid as you rub it on your skin. I love how the gel absorbs and dries quickly, which is great because I'm always rushing to work in the morning. Till this point you might have your own thought on this product, It's gentle and moisturizing and calms your skin down. Additionally they got reasonable price and size. Come in small sizes (only 150 ml) good for traveling. On the other side, since the element is simple and gentle, it does not bring much changes or have those immediate effect on your face. In short, this is a great option for those seasons when your skin is very sensitive and you do not want to add extra pressure on it.

Removes ALL my makeup and feel
Removes ALL my makeup and feels amazing. It’s concentrated, so you only need a little bit. It makes my skin feel alive. It’s invigorating but not bold. It has a very light scent that’s pleasing but hardly noticeable. It spreads well. It takes off eye makeup with just my finger tips. I will keep buying this product. I love that it makes my skin feel awake without feeling like I’ve been blasted in the face with mint. It’s just a nice and clean feeling. I highly recommend. I took one star away because the very name of the product implies that all it needs is to be applied. But truly it needs to be manipulated with water and the fingers and it needs to be rinsed. I was originally hoping to be able to just swipe it across my face with a tissue and it’s really not that type of product. philosophy - Purity Made Simple Cleanser

Review of The Ecru Clay Soap f
Review of The Ecru Clay Soap from Jungle Botanics. It’s a facial soap that promises to remove residue, reduce impurities and clarify as well as control sebum production. It’s a beautiful soap bar that came with a organic cotton cleansing pad and soap holder. The smell was very beautiful and the colour looked very raw which I loved. I also adored the design of the packaging💜 So the long story short it didn’t work for me at all unfortunately. I dived in to it, and silly me not checking the ingredients as I usually do. Having combination sensitive skin it dried me right after the first use as well as leaving my skin sad and dehydrated. It did leave it clean tho. But in a few days I gathered a few spots which are usually rare. I guess it’s not the right product for me, but it might suit you if you have less reactive skin and you are fine with oils it’s always better to try yourself❤️ 💜Some of the ingredients to keep a note of: Amazonian Green Clay (Kaolin Clay) Coconut Oil Shea Butter Palm Oil Castor Oil Jojoba Oil Olive Oil Grape Seed Oil Centella Asiatica Extract (love it but not in the specific combination)

Okay so I love me some Fresh products, but I’m really not impressed with this. It kills me to say but I had to. Don’t kill me haha I know that this is a fan favorite. I definitely like other cleansers a lot better. Maybe I had to high of expectations, but if I’m gonna drop some cash on a nice product, it needs to be the shit! For me this wasn’t to special. :( fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash So first, I do like the consistency, and I love that it has amino acids in it. If you love it and it works for you, then that’s amazing. But for me it was pretty ordinary and not worth the mula 💴 in my opinion. :) It's made with amino acid-rich soy proteins, calming cucumber extract, and balancing rosewater. It doesn’t really have a smell to it. I wanted it to smell like roses haha. It really didn’t take off any of my eye makeup like it claims too either. Not a big deal for me because I double cleanse anyway but still if it says that’s what it does then it should :) MAIN INGREDIENTS Amino acid-rich soy proteins help maintain skin elasticity. Calming cucumber extract aids in soothing the skin. Rosewater is notable for its calming and balancing properties. Borage seed oil helps to nourish and soften.

My tried and true, safety net, warm blanket. The Lush Herbalism cleanser is comfort to my skin. I've used it off and on for 6 years now, have gone through countless tubs of it and always find my way back. It's gentle and leaves my skin feeling clean, but never stripped of the good stuff. There's nothing harsh about it - just soothed, happy skin. 🌿 Pros: ➕ soaks up excess oil using kaolin clay and rice bran ➕ rosemary, nettle and chamomile tone the skin Cons: ➖ contains fragrance, Lush classifies it as "a safe synthetic" ➖ contains essential oils The smaller "face size" retails for $16.95 and lasts me about 3 months. This will expire but I always finish my jar before that happens. After not using this for almost 3 years as soon as I tried it again my skin felt immediately soothed and I haven't been using anything else. I like to also use it as a mask if my skin is feeling especially sensitive or broken out. I definitely recommend this and I'm happy to be using it again! LUSH - Herbalism FACE AND BODY CLEANSER
