The best Cleansing Balm ever

I have tried my fair share of good cleansing balms over the years but my favorite is the THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm
I’ve been using this for over 4 months now and it has actually improved the overall look and feel of my skin. It’s a really decent size tube for $16 CAD and its the first one I ever try that comes in a squeeze tube. If you regularly use cleansing balms you know how convenient that is! No more scratching balm out of a tub with your nails which can be frustrating and unsanitary 🥴 Once you warm it up in your hands it applies thin and smooth over the face. There’s a very subtle exfoliating/grainy feeling (I think that’s the “oat” in it) but in no way is this irritating or abrasive on sensitive skin. 😇 I have exzcema flare ups and extremely sensitive skin and if anything, using this cleansing balm every night has actually helped! The only negative thing I will say is that it doesn’t seem to be too “spreadable” so I feel like I need more product to rub all of the makeup off than I usually need from other cleansing balms but at this price-point and quality it won’t bother me too much to buy a replacement bottle sooner. Here’s some of the previous balms I’ve tried that are now replaced by this one ✨: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm
fine but huge price tag for nothing magical CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Home & Away Duo
I THOUGHT this was my favorite until the inkey list one revealed my skin was struggling all along 😱 GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm
lovely but didnt like the scent heimish - All Clean Balm
great but too little for the price and left my skin oily sometimes DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil
WORST one. Broke me out for months and I couldn’t figure out what it was! I stopped using it after learning that olive oil is extremely comodegenic and problematic if you have acne-prone skin ...and this cleanser is olive-oil based 🙅🏻‍♀️ What do you guys think of cleansing balms?! Do you double-cleanse?

Mature Skin Night Routine
So with al the products out there, I enjoy shaking it up and trying new things!!! I have begun a new routine!! DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil this is my start. It does an excellent job of removing al my makeup, without striping my mature skin of moisture. Murad - Renewing Cleansing Cream I use this as my second cleanse. I love the cream to foam feel. It too does an excellent job at keeping my skin hydrated. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% I use this every other day! I rotate this with the next product. I have been using this for about a month and I am loving how my skin is responding. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion I use this alternating days of the “buffet”. This is a thicker consistency and I like it. This is so far a bonus to my routine. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is my favorite hyaluronic acid at the moment. I’m sure I will try others along the way, and love them too. This absorbs well and does not leave my skin tacky. e.l.f. - Superhydrate Moisturizer I layer this right after my hyaluronic acid, which pulls moisture to the skin. This gives my hyaluronic acid the extra boost. This is a gel texture. I keep mine in my skin fridge and it feels like heaven on my skin. CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream this is my final step!!! I can’t live without this. This makes my skin so happy!! Mature skin peeps.... game changer! This keeps my skin full of hydration, gives my skin barrier exactly what it needs, and frankly since using this... my skin continues to look better and better! LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask - Mint Choco Chip I finish with this little gem! This comes in several varieties, this one is the one I was gifted. I’m glad I was. Gives my kid hydration all night. Hope my tips help! If you have any, I would love to hear them. Taking care of ur skin is a journey we all seek to perfect!!!

Balm OR oil with mature skin????
So first let me say.... I don’t think you can go wrong with either of these products!!! They both are fabulous. When it comes to my first cleanse, I go back and forth between the two. They are both super affordable as well. Double cleansing is a GAME CHANGER for mature skin! Keeps my skin hydrated and prevents stripping your skin of moisture!!! BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original this smells amazing. I like how easy this is and how soft my skin feels after I use it. I docked one star ⭐️ because it doesn’t quite get all my eye makeup off. Especially if I had been wearing falsey’s. That glue or magnetic 🧲 liner can be a bit tougher to remove. I felt like I really had to scrub my eyes. However, if I had not been wearing fake lashes..... it is a dream! DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil this is beautiful at removing makeup!! I rub it straight on my face and then add water 💦 and rinse. This doesn’t have a pleasant smell, but definitely does the job!! This one is liquid so it is slightly messier to use. But .... if I’m wearing falsey’s, this is my go to!! It takes it all off like magic!! I recommend either of these!! They both are great as a first cleanse!!! Try one, try both.... or do what I do..... rotate between them!!

GREEN GUY, DID YOU BREAK ME OUTTTT???
What do you have to do when the whole internet talk about “DOULE CLEANSING”. I don’t wear any makeup but i have heavy moisturizer and sunscreen so I decided to try. And all point to the same product FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm Ok, i got it, what you have to do, head to Sephora and pick it up. Hold it in hand, i’m feel so happy 😂😂😂 I use it immediately the night i got it, i have to say: i love the color, i love the smell... the texture look like rock at the first sight but when you use the scoop, it actually like butter. I’m in love 🥺🥺🥺 When i use the balm, it’s very easy to spread, melt quickly. I added some water and it transfer to liquid. After that, i pair with my usual cleanser. After the first night, my face had small pimples. But not a problem. I still try the balm... the second day, more pimples coming, bigger qnd bigger. Painful, redness and itching 😭😭😭 And finally, after 3 days trying, i can feel my face screaming “I DON’T LIKE THAT GUY, THE GREEN GUY” 🤢 So i guess i have to come back with my lovely micellar waterBIODERMA - Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Cleansing Water this is is light like water, made my face feel nothing, but i have wipe my face about 3 times to make sure it’s clean. I will going to return FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm i thought that “my green dream”. If you have any cleaning balm good for acne, oily skin. Please, tell me. I appreciate 🥰🥰🥰

My January 2021 empties
Looks like I emptied many of the cleansing products. Star of the month goes to: Bronze - BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream likely to repurchase when finished other eye cream inventories. This is somewhat rich eye cream and glide on easily. Silver - FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm got silver just because it has attracted everyone’s attention. I still have one big jar to go then will try something else after. Gold - DHC - DHC Lip Cream this is something I can’t live without and will never trade for anything else. Will definitely keep repurchasing!

Learning to be patient!!
On November 1st I started my tretinoin journey and it has been one heck of a journey!! After finally getting through the worst of the purge pictured here, I can finally say I have no active acne! And I think the largest player here is actually SPIRONOLACTONE. My acne didn’t start until I had my Mirena IUD placed, so it makes sense that I needed to fix the hormones. Now to handle the scarring (patiently)... Routine: spironolactone 50 mg 1x a day Apostrophe - Spironolactone AM: Simple - Kind to Skin Micellar Cleasing Water or just a splash of water Spot treat with benzoyl peroxide and erythromycin cream ——> with no active acne I’m going to switch to cocokind - Vitamin c serum with sea grape caviar to help with the hyperpigmentation 🤞 indoor day: OLAY - Complete Lotion All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin outdoor day: VANICREAM - Lite Lotion Krave - The Beet Shield PM: THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser Tretinoin cream .1% (3-4 times a week) Hydroquinone (2x a week) CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream Moisture helpers: Krave - Great Barrier Relief LA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 for Dry Skin Irritations

Skincare 101: Cleansing
Hey y’all! In today’s post were continuing one of my most popular series: Skincare 101. In today’s Skincare 101 we’re talking about cleansers. We’ll be talking about how to choose the right kind of cleanser, cleansing do’s and don’ts, and more. First off we’ll start with why you cleanse. Cleansing your skin is another term for washing it. Cleansing is important because it helps to remove the pollutants, bacteria, dirt, oil, and dead skin cells that collect on your skin during the day. By removing these, you prevent aging, breakouts, and dehydration on your on your skin. There are tons of different types of cleansers so I’ll go through them and explain who’s skin each type is best for. (If you don’t know you skin type I have a post on how to find out) First are foaming cleansers. Although foam and suds don’t mean a cleanser is more effective, it is a nice touch. These are great for non makeup wears who have oily or combination skin. This is because foaming cleansers can be slightly drying, so they’re not great for dry skin. Great foaming cleanser: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Next up are gel cleansers. Gel cleansers are great for removing light makeup and leaving your skin hydrated and feeling fresh. They are best for normal, combination, and oily skin types that are more sensitive or acne prone. Great gel cleanser:Simple - Micellar Gel Wash Our next type of cleanser is a cream cleanser. These are very hydrating and can remove most makeup, but for waterproof products you may need to use a separate makeup remover. These are beat for those with normal, dry, and sensitive skin types. Great cream cleanser:CLINIQUE - Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser Next are oil based cleansers. These are great for all skin types, even oily skin (see my post on double cleansing for more information). They are great for removing heavy makeup and dirt. They should never be used alone, only in a double cleanse. Great oil based cleanser:YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Next up are cleansing waters and micellar waters. These are great for all skin types. For this type of cleanser, you don’t need to wash them off, but it's better if you do. Great micellar water:#Simple - micellar water[products]#[FourStars] Now these should only be used in an emergency: makeup wipes. They are technically a type of cleanser, but I have a whole post on my they’re bad. If you need to use them use these:Simple - Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes And finally, there are cleansing balms. These are great for removing makeup and for a double cleanse. They’re best for those with normal, very dry, and eczema sensitive skin. When buying cleansing balms, get ones without polyethylene. Polyethylene is a micro plastic used in balms to make the texture better. It’s a micro plastic that’s harmful to marine life. great polyethylene free cleansing balm:THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm Now that we have that out of the way, how often do you cleanse? If you have oily, combination, or normal skin types, twice a day in the morning and night is perfect. For those with sensitive and dry skin, it might be better to only cleanse once per day to make sure you don’t strip your skin of its precious little moisture. You also should always cleanse after working out. Now onto do’s and don’ts of cleansing. Starting with the don’ts. #1 don’t rub your face vigorously. Please be gentle with your skin! Harsh rubbing can make your skin irritated and red. #2 don’t wash your face with bar soap. Bar soap can be really stripping to the skin, so it’s best to stick with other cleansers. #3 don’t rush. Cleansers need a full 30 seconds on your skin to properly clean it. If you wash it off immediately, it won’t be as effective. #4 don’t stop at your chin. Your neck also gets a lot of buildup, so it’s best to cleanse and moisturize all the way down your next. And the do’s: #1 do wet your hands and face first. This allows your cleanser to activate for a better clean, as well as helping the product to glide across your skin better. Don’t do this with cleansing balms or oil based cleansers though because the water will repel the oil. #2 do use lukewarm water. Even though your pores don’t open and close, lukewarm water is still the best tempature for cleansing to avoid burning your skin or leading it to a cold shock. #3 do pat dry. Patting is the best way to dry your skin without irritating it. #4 do use a clean face towel. To dry your skin, your face towel should be used for nothing else, and should only be used a max of two times before swapping it out. This is because the towel gains bacteria that will be transferred to your skin the next time you use it. Alright ya’ll have made it to the end of Skincare 101: Cleansing! Please cheer for this post, comment below your favorite cleanser, and follow me for similar content! -Mae

Sensitive/oily acne-prone skin journey
I recently turned 40, and about a year ago I started working on helping my aging acne-prone skin. I really improved using sunscreen and started using treatments like retinol. Have had some red irritated skin, when I’m not careful but slowly improving. GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm Started double cleansing at night, love the texture and it doesn’t break me out! KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser So gentle yet perfect cleanser for me. INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner This is a Holy Grail moisturizing toner! Hydrates and is so gentle! EMINENCE - Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum Moisturizes and helps breakouts. EMINENCE - Clear Skin Probiotic Moisturizer So moisturizing and calming. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ First sunscreen I’ve found that didn’t break me out or irritate my skin. Rotating Treatments PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator Helps my acne prone skin but doesn’t irritate. Using a couple times a week. Marie Veronique Gentle Retinol Night serum- Love this! Expensive but I haven’t found a dupe yet. ACNE FREE - Adapalene Gel USP 15G I use this once a week but have to be super careful. facetheory - PoreBright Serum N10 Helps oiliness and brightens skin. THE inkey LIST - 15% Vitamin C and EGF Fist vitamin C serum that didn’t irritate my skin or break me out.

👩‍🔬My Tretinoin Journey ~ 8 Weeks in
Hi all! I started tretinoin / retin-a about 8 weeks ago for the first time. I got my prescription from Curology specifically seeking tretinoin, which I told my doctor so he would be sure to prescribe it to me! Always tell them if you’re looking for a specific ingredient! 👩‍🔬What is tretinoin/Retin-A? Tretinoin is a Retinoid; retinoids are derivatives of Vitamin A (retinol, retinaldehyde, retinal, isotretinoin, adapalene are others.) Tretinoin’s intended and approved use is for acne, as it was created for acne treatment, but it is very often prescribed for anti aging and skin texture because through the decades of research, doctors found it was great for reducing wrinkles and large pores and repairing sun damage. Tretinoin increases cell turnover and exfoliates the top layers of our skin Decreases the shedding of dead skin cells into our pores + decreases inflammation It works much more deeply and much more effectively than its non-prescription counterparts, such as regular retinol Although strengths cannot be compared across the board, it has been observed that retinol is roughly 20 times less potent than tretinoin Decades of research confirm tretinoin as the holy grail, “gold-standard” in topical treatments for fighting acne + clogged pores, as well as smoothing out fine lines + wrinkles, reducing pigmentation from damage, and evening the skin texture 🙋‍♀️Who should use tretinoin? Tretinoin is suitable for most people; the only people who should be wary of it are those who have extremely sensitive skin, rosacea ❌Do not use tretinoin or any retinoids when pregnant or breastfeeding!❌ Dermatologists say that tretinoin is a great option for comedonal acne since it exfoliates + prevents plugging of the pores 💊Using/starting Tretinoin - tips from me + my dermatologist I’d recommend starting with tretinoin in a lotion/cream formula as it tends to be less harsh than the gel due to having soothing ingredients included in the formula. Curology has a cream formula that I absolutely love LOW + SLOW : start with a low dose (ask your doctor and give them your history) + go slowly with use. My derm recommended starting M W F of each week but do it less if you are experiencing too much irritation always follow instructions + advice from your dermatologist. With curology, I am able to send my provider messages and pictures with concerns and requests Simplify your routine! I did cut back to hydrating cleanser(s), hydrating toner or essence, thick moisturizer, my curology formula, + an oil on top to lock it all in. As your skin accustoms you will be able to slowly work those treatment products back in SPF ALWAYS🌞 I started tretinoin at 0.005% and upped to 0.01% after one month and I am seeing smoother skin and smaller pores, with very little purging. Pictures are from ordered from oldest to new except the first which compares starting with 8 weeks. XOXO GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm stratia - Velvet Cleansing Milk FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner MIZON - Original Skin Energy, Peptide 500 PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum dear, klairs - Midnight Blue Calming Cream FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream Safe for Sensitive Skin HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil

Best cleansing products for Combination
I am a combination. My T zone is very oily and will get very oily through out the day. My cheeks are on the normal but more to the dry side depend of the season and weather. I’ve got some acne scarring on my forehead and some dark spots on the chin. The products listed below may not be the most popular product or effective for everybody. It’s the ones that I like and don’t make me break out and keep my skin calm. Those products are really work well for my skin Combination is not easy to deal with. And it took me a long time to find out the ones that works best for me. I’m sure it’s the same for most people. If you do want to try these items, make sure you spot test first. CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Home & Away Duo Coming to the makeup remover, I really like oily based removers to remove my daily makeup. I put a lot of foundations and would put a second layer in the middle of the day. I definitely need a strong remover that can take off the foundation completely but not being too harsh. This is honestly my 3rd jar of clinique remover. I got it from Clinique website when it was on sale. And I always purchase additional as inventory. I really like the texture of this remover. It’s waxy but very gentle comparing with aggressive wipes. Those wipes works well for strong pigments like lip tint or eyeliners. It rinse off clean and I don’t feel gross after using it. And like most other Clinique products, it doent have any scent and this is another reason I LOVE about it. dermalogica - Essential Cleansing Solution Next coming to the cleanser is the Dermalogica cleansing gel. I love this nice and gentle cleanser that leaves my skin feeling very clean, but not tight and dry at all! It's fragrance free, and feels pure and clean, and doesn't really have anything in it that could cause your skin to react. The texture is so smooth and slippery in a velvety way. A little goes a long way. For me it is a gentle cleanser I’ve had no breakouts or issues since using this. I’ve been using it for 4 months, My skin texture has improved and I rarely break out anymore. It is a gentle product that can be can be used on the eye area to remove eye make up. So it is very friendly to sensitive skin as well. There is nothing too special about this cleanser. It's just a gentle, easy cleanser that keeps my skin happy.

Youth To The People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Superfood Cleanser: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Hey guys I’m back with another skincare product review. I’m going to be talking about this products ingredients and my personal review. Ingredients: The highest concentrated ingredient is water, which is good. The next ingredient in line is Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate. This ingredient is considered mild and non drying. It’s a cleansing agent that naturally produces a creamy feeling on the skin. Skipping around the list and lot of Vitamins are added including Vitamin B5, E, and Vitamin C. There is Leaf extract which is a great ingredient to actively neutralize free radicals which come from UV rats and Pollution. It also includes Green Tea which is one of the most effective agents against skin inflammation and cancerous changes in your skin. Overall, the ingredient list is a great and passes the test. My Personal Experience: I started using this cleanser about 3 weeks ago. I got the travel size because I wanted to test it and see if the reviews and hype building up were true. As soon as I washed my skin with it, it was very soothing and made my skin soft. At first I smelled some fragrance, but after looking into the product it was natural and not artificial due to all the extracts. It didn’t irritate my skin at all and did not overly dry my skin. Since I have oily skin, I really think it did a good job getting all the excess sebum, dirt, and oil off my skin. Overall, this is a great cleanser and I do recommend it to people with combination or oily skin. I guess people with dry skin could use this, but I don’t wanna cause any irritation. I loved the cleanser and definitely will repurchase the full sized. Youth To The People is a great company because they are very eco friendly and sustainable. All their products come in glass bottles which makes you feel a little fancy and you can feel good by not using plastic.

FACT: There is no such thing a
FACT: There is no such thing as too many cleansers. Some days I need to double cleanse. Some days my skin is like "let's just take it easy" and we only use a light cleanser. Sometimes an exfoliating cleanser is just the ticket. For me, it's important to be able to adapt to what my skin needs. I find if I wash it too much, I'll break out. If I forget to wash it, I'll break out. It's a delicate balance. I worked the other day until 4 am (be nice to retail workers, we work hard) and I got home and STILL did my skincare routine, because break outs ain't worth it. Here's my top cleansers: Farmacy Green Clean is the legit best for double cleansing. Use this stuff to get the makeup and gunk off your face before a good deep cleanse. Laneige Moisturizing Foam Cleanser is great for really getting my pores clean. It leaves my skin feeling a little tight, but it's great for when I'm about to GO IN on my serums.

REAL HYPE! ALWAYS DOUBLE CLEANSE!
REAL HYPE! ALWAYS DOUBLE CLEANSE!
Ever wash your face and still have left over makeup or dirt? YUP. I’m calling you out! YOU. NEED. TO. DOUBLE CLEANSE. 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞: If you wear any type of makeup or sunscreen, regular cleansers WILL NOT WORK alone to get your face entirely clean. A double cleanse system is *obviously* washing your face twice to ensure you get all traces of makeup and dirt completely gone. 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞: For double cleansing the best way to start is with a cleansing oil or cleansing balm. Oils and balms work to breakdown makeup and dirt. You will literally see your makeup dissolving into the oil or balm. You can just wash your face twice with your regular cleanser, but it won’t be as effective. You can also use a micelles water first and then cleanse, this is a great option too. ***Always use a cleansing oil or balm FIRST before your regular cleanser. It must be washed off with another cleanser or it may clog your pores.*** 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐦 FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm So you too have heard about GREEN CLEAN, but is it worth it? BIG YES. This quickly became my favorite for double cleansing because it is seriously as good as everyone says. + for all skin types! + sunflower & ginger root oil melt away makeup, even long wear and waterproof! + turmeric and moringa extract get rid of impurities, sunscreen residue, and fight off pollution. + exfoliates too! Thanks to papaya enzymes. + smells refreshing. Citrus type smell, very light. + waxy look and feel until worked onto skin or hands it then melts into an oil/milkytype consistency. + rinse off with water and you got yourself some pretty clean skin. + comes with a little scoop so you don’t have to dig your fingers in it! + little goes a long way! Don’t use too big of a scoop. + clean skincare $22 1.7 oz $34 100mL - there are other options at a more affordable price, but for a more high end brand, this is very worth it. BELIEVE THE HYPE. All the good things you see and hear about Green Clean are true.

THIS HELPED ME rebalance my oily skin 💜💖
THIS HELPED ME rebalance my oily skin 💜💖
People have very mixed opinions about Glow Recipe, most of the negative opinions thinking it is just a cutesy brand and for a while I agreed until i really started diving into clean skin care and good ingredients, I finally decided to try it out but I wanted to try both the cleanser AND the moisturizer because I don't believe any brand is defined by 1 or even 2 products. THESE PRODUCTS ARE FOR PEOPLE WITH OILY SKIN THAT WANT BALANCED SKIN, this won't make you 100% oil-free and matte, if you prefer that I'm sorry but I don't think you will like these. The Review ‼ My skin is beyond oily, I'd get so embarrassed walking around especially during the summer, I have been testing so many different things for around 2 years and this completely changed my skin, my skin is now so soft it looks smooth (even with my minor acne scars and pores, and I no longer get oily throughout the day, I can't help but touch my skin because I just feel so good about it, I have a normal healthy glow and when I touch my face it has the perfect amount of hydration. I also don't have severe acne though I do have some acne scars and and I usually get between 1-4 pimples most of the time and this has helped calm both of that down, I haven't gotten any more pimples (except 1 recently) which wasn't nearly as big as the others, the cleanser really helped with that and my bumpy textured skin the cleanser is my new holy grail. Would I Recommend ❓ Absolutely, if you are into clean skin care, and want to rebalance your skin or even if you have normal skin I'd definitely buy this combo! It seems expensive but honestly the smaller size is enough. I gave the cleanser 5 stars because it cleans my skin so well I don't even feel like I need a toner but it doesnt strip my skin, I feel like every skin type could use this cleanser and the small $10 bottle will last a long time, 1 pump covers your whole face 💜 I gave the moisturizer 4 stars because even though I love the amount of hydration it gives me without the oiliness it seems to be going by a little faster than the cleanser but that could also be because I do 1 pump but 1 pump is too much honestly, it's a small learning curve but very worth it 💖 How I use the moisturizer❗I try to pour a little less than 1 pump into my hand and I dip a finger in the product and put that on 1 check then I dipped my finger again and put it on the other cheek, and I dip my finger again to put it on my forehead and whatever is left I just put on any spot I missed like my nose or if i need a little more on my cheeks. $10 for small cleanser $21 for small moisturizer, or you can get the make your own kit for $29, you will get the small sized moisturizer and can get a sample sized cleanser, you can also choose another 2 products if there are other things you want to try. (4 piece kit 1 small size 3 sample size) If you don't have the money to get both, the cleanser is a good investment because for the price of a normal drugstore cleanser it lasts.

Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser
GLOW RECIPE-Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser
Heimish All Clean Balm
Heimish All Clean Balm
It’s a gentle cleansing balm that is meant to remove even the heaviest makeup, and sunscreen without over drying and irritating the skin. It breaks down the oil on your skin leaving skin clean and free of impurities. It is made with shea butter, citrus herb oil, and coconut extracts that leaves skin clean moisturized. It is hypoallergenic so it is ideal for all skin types even with sensitive skin. It’s a solid balm that melts into your skin and tranforms into an oil cleanser then turns into milk when it comes in contact with water. This is one of the first korean brands that i have tried. I have only used this for about a week as as part if my double cleanse. I rarely wear makeup but when i did, this removed it nicely including waterproof mascara. It does melt into the skin and spreads nicely I rub it all over my face and it is gentle enough not make my skin feel stripped and dry when i rinse. I love that is has a flip-top lid that makes it easier to use. All i needed was one scoop of the balm and it covers cleansing my entire face. After rinsing, my face feels moisturized which i think is very important for my sensitive skin. It does not seem like there is a fragrance to it in my opinion. I do not have breakouts from using this so far. I would recommend this as it one of the cheaper option for cleansing balms and it does what it’s supposed to. Price ranges from $13-$17 depending on the retailer for a 120ml tub. This product is also a 5/5 for me being a good value for it’s price. heimish - All Clean Balm

The Best Makeup Remover
The Best Makeup Remover
FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm I was never a big fan of cleansing balms until I tried this- I found them waxy and felt that they left a residue that I could never get rid of, so I hadn't really double cleansed before I met Green Clean. Farmacy's Green Clean is what I would say is their signature product. I mean check out that texture - it's actually GREEN! As a brand, Farmacy focuses on clean beauty, so the whole green theme fits. This also smells lovely and green - it reminds me of being outside in the woods! It contains sunflower oil, lime, bergamont and ginger so those lend it a pleasant scent. Packed in a recyclable jar, Green Clean is a balm meant to cleanse off all of your makeup- including eye makeup- and that it does. It even manages not to irritate my sensitive eyes! Let’s talk texture- It stays solid in the jar but once you put it on your skin, it lathers up nicely and leaves my skin feeling clean, but not dry. All without the waxy residue that turned me off from cleansing balms in the first place! I still like to use another cleanser after the green clean, but you don't need to, since it really washes clean. As I am in my late 30s with dry skin, I need to avoid cleansers that strip the skin, so this is perfect if you’re on the dry side. I’m not sure it would be as good for oily skin, but as it rinses clean I don’t think it would clog pores or cause breakouts. I give Green Clean 5/5 stars because this really IS an excellent cleanser. It runs $34 for a 3.4 oz size, which to be honest, is a little expensive. A 3.4 ounce jar lasts me around 3 months, so its still a good value, and on occasion Farmacy sells value sizes which makes it cheaper per ounce. Definitely the best balm available right now!
