Full Glossier Look
I proclaim myself a Glossier ambassador because it’s the only brand I use for makeup looks other than my new Kat Von D lip liner and my trusty L’Oreal Paris Infallible Eyeliner. I made this a Reel on my Instagram if you want to check it out, but these are the products I used✨ (I have acne and none of these products have exacerbated it, thank goodness. I don’t use their foundation anymore because my skin doesn’t agree with anything foundation lol). Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss
Easy to use cosmetics
MAKE UP FOR EVER - Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer This primer is tinted and I’m very thankful to be a light enough shade to match it because it’s a wonderful breathable primer. I often mix it with an oil and stipple it on for a dewy look laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder I haven’t tried many setting powders, this one has a lot of hype and I was not disappointed. It works well with Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer (not show). KALEIDO COSMETICS - Kaleido Cosmetics Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner I like very simple thin eyeliner and this felt tip lets you have all the fine control you need Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duo I like this a lot for cheek color I really do, the colors are NOT universal though. You have to be honest about what tone you want your blush to be. Because it blends in so seamlessly with your skin if it’s a bad color for you it looks so so bad. OPI - Nail Envy Original shown in Hawiian Orchad here. I’m sooooo happy OPI came out with nail envy in colors I love this stuff. I want them to come out with fall/winter colors, currently only available in light tans and pinks. flesh - Touch Highlighting Balm this stuff blends so well, it’s the cloud paint of highlighters. If you just want a little natural color that’s easy to put on this is it. #Space Case - Bronzer[products]#[FiveStars] I like this pressed bronzer a lot. I don’t tend to use bronzers so I appreciate that this one never gets to heavy. You won’t pick up to much on your brush and it’s not very “buildable” so it never gets to dark.
New Season, New Makeup faves!
And a new haircut?! Omg, my first quarantine haircut and it’s been making me feel refreshed and reset for the fall season. ✨Want to know what else I’m loving about fall besides the sweaters and leaves changing color? Heated colors and eyeshadow palettes are back in style. I’ve discovered some new makeup that I’m excited can be added to my holy grail counter. Check it out! ✨Started my base off with Supergoop! - Zincscreen 100% Mineral Lotion SPF 40 PA+++ which is easy to reapply throughout the day while keeping the rest your makeup easy to touch up along with it without any weird pilling/ other layering issues whatsoever. ✨My eyebrows are already pretty thick, so no need to color in sparse areas. I grabbed Glossier. - Boy Brow in translucent and it keeps my brows with nice volume, lift where I want and hold all day. Love this! Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duo in Dusk and Beam were mixed together for a natural-looking, sunkissed flush. I also used excess product from Beam onto my eyelids and there’s been no creasing! This product works well with your fingers or with a foundation brush that has a thick surface area with lots of fibers closely wound together. It spreads so nicely either way- a little goes a long way! ✨I used CLINIQUE - High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara and while my lashes lengthen and become wonderfully defined, I wish the price point were a tad lower. Looking into something less expensive with the same results! ✨I’ve been so tired lately! New schedule and longer work hours. To brighten my eyes, I’ve gotten SEPHORA COLLECTION - 12hr Colorful Contour Eyeliner in their pearlescent off-white color, and I apppied that baby along the inside of my bottom lash line. Makes such a big difference making my eyes look bigger and brighter! On my lips, I’ve got MINERAL FUSION - Sheer Moisture Lip Tint on in Glisten- this lovely neutral peach that totally matches Glossier’s Beam for this nice monochromatic look. My lips feel so hydrated and look plump and healthy! While it does transfer, not a big deal to me at all- it’s a more eco-friendly company that can pack some great ingredients into their products. ✨Lastly, added this beautiful metallic, burnt umber eyeshadow, MEECH N MIA - MEECH N MIA Loose Eyeshadows in Copper, which can be applied SO easily in so many ways! Long-lasting shimmer that looks amazing with so many matte eyeshadow layers underneath. With it being loose, highly encourage finishing spray though! Otherwise, it’s the perfect loose metallic pot shadow. What looks have you been trying out for fall? Let me know in the comments ✨🙌🏼
Lit From Within Glowwww✨😍
I recently started using these 4 products for almost 2 weeks now & I’m never turning back!!! •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask •Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I have never had such a consistent glow to my skin since starting these! I get complimented daily! I love these products so much. The two Youth To The People creams absorb so quickly & don’t leave it feeling like you have all this junk on your face either. My previous moisturizer would always pill up once I went to put anything else on my face & these don’t do that! The Glossier serum is also extremely light & doesn’t clog pores which is something I was worried about initially. It comes out in this pinkish color but it doesn’t turn your skin any other, it just gives you a dewy look. & the Youth To The People serum is amazing of course! It literally gives me this glow like no other! A little bit goes a very long way, as with most of their products. Now I just need to clear up the little bit of texture I have left in my chin! I blame it on the fact that I went out quite a bit the last week (church, grocery shopping, random errands) & of course wore a mask the whole time! Resulting in some maskne 😢 But that is just temporary! As is every blemish! I definitely recommend trying these products guys! They are HOLY GRAILS if there ever was one! @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick
Glossier Futuredew: Get Glass Skin Instantly
I received this product complimentary for review purposes. I was hesitant at first because I have oily-combination skin and was afraid of looking greasy or breaking out. However, this oil serum hybrid gives me the most beautiful glass skin! ✨PACKAGING: The packaging feels weighted and luxurious. I love that it comes in a pump bottle for easy application! The frosted bottle allows you to see the beautiful peachy sheen of the product inside. ✨PRODUCT: The product looks like a peachy color but once absorbed into the skin, leaves no color— only shine. I used one pump and it was plenty, so I feel like this bottle will last awhile. The serum absorbed once I patted it down and left my skin feeling very hydrated and moisturized. ☺️ ✨ APPLICATION: I wanted to try the futuredew on my bare face without any makeup base products. I applied this to all the parts of my face I would normally use highlight, including my cheekbones, under the eyebrows, and the tip of my nose. ✨RESULTS: This serum gave my skin a beautiful, lit-from within glow. It was as if I had done a complete skincare routine and finished a hydrating sheet mask. Hours after applying, I can still feel how moisturized my skin is and see a subtle shine. This is impressive because most serums don’t leave such a glow after they have been absorbed into the skin. Even though I have oily skin and large pores, this did not break me out or accentuate texture. ✨FINAL THOUGHTS: I later applied makeup on top of the futuredew and it was a great base! This kept my makeup from clingy to any flaky patches and made my powder products apply smoother. I prefer a blinding highlight so I wouldn’t use this as my highlighter but if you like a natural highlight, I could see the futuredew serving that purpose. 😌 I would recommend this for any skin type as either a skincare serum or makeup base. I would definitely purchase this with my own money once I finish this bottle because I can’t stop looking at how radiant my skin looks!
Turning myself into Merengue from ACNH 🍓
Hi, my name’s Francine and I’m addicted to Animal Crossing!!! 🐶🐷🐱🐰🦊💗 If you guys have been following along you’ve probably seen my other ACNH inspired lewks. Someone suggested I did Merengue next, and honestly she was already on my list! Merengue is a normal rhino villager and her name comes from “meringue”, a type of dessert made with egg whites and sugar. My husband has her on his island and she’s the cutest!! 🍰 I also got inspo from @neoini on IG! They did this look a while ago, and I’m just beyond obsessed. Here’s what I used for this look: 🍓 e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer 🍰DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer 🍓essence - All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder 🍰essence - Satin Touch Blush 🍓COLOURPOP - Strawberry shake shadow palette 🍰CALEY COSMETICS - Beach Babe Natural Lips 🍓Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss 🍰Freck BEAUTY - THE ORIGINAL FRECKLE 🍓OFRA - Limited Edition Rodeo Drive Highlighter Ornament 🍰 ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Gel How did I do it: • First I started by prepping my skin, so I used my favorite primer atm. The elf poreless putty primer gives me a smooth, flawless base every time. • Next I spot concealed with the Dior forever skin correct concealer, I wear shade 1W. • I like to keep my brows soft when I’m doing villager inspired makeup lol, so I only went in with the dipbrow gel, which I don’t love but I can’t find my elf wow brow 😔 • Now for the eyes I used one of my favorite palettes from CP and did a soft, shimmery pink eye bc the lil strawberry nose is the focal point here! • The nose was so hard guys, I used a white concealer and a green eyeliner from a now discontinued beauty brand and just carefully tried to draw a strawberry. Any white creamy shadow or concealer will work and any green shadow or liner is ok! I used the shade Daiquiri from the Strawberry Shake palette for the rest. Ta-da! • To set my makeup I used the essence - All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder I purchased this powder when I did my Flora makeup and needed a white fixing powder. I went with Essence because honestly I rarely ever use mattifying powders for my regular makeup routine, and Essence is inexpensive and they’re powders are just top tier. This powder is supposed to be “invisible” so I just build up until I can no more and it works great! Its surprisingly lightweight even when I apply like 10 layers to get maximum opacity. Also the price is hard to beat! $3.99 for 8 grams 🙌 • I used the Satin Touch Blush in Coral love. • For the freckles I used the Freck BEAUTY - THE ORIGINAL FRECKLE the liquid-y formula and small brush makes it easy to draw fake freckles, but it’s a little warm for my taste and way too small. Def not a need.
Model off-duty look ✨ #CheriePartner
Have you ever wondered how do models look so good on AND off the runway? My research tells me the key to that off duty, “I didn’t even try” look is achievable by following these easy steps and keeping it simple 🙌 Let’s start with skin. Models seem to have flawless skin, to achieve that perfected look we just need a glowy base and an even skin tone. For this look I skipped foundation altogether and opted for concealer only, I went in with the DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer this creamy concealer gives full coverage but a natural finish that is never cakey. I used it to spot conceal and to cover my under-eyes circles. Next is brows, models keep they’re brows defined but feathery. I used Lime Crime - Bushy Brow Precision Pen & ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Gel I recommend just following the natural shape of you brow and not overdoing it. I used the essence - Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder to give my cheeks and jaw some definition, and on my eyes as well. Essence makes beautiful powder products, in my opinion. This formula is buttery soft and blends beautifully. I personally prefer products that can be built up since they’re more forgiving, rather than having something super pigmented upon first application because I’ve been guilty of going overboard. It has a coconut-y scent but it’s very faint, tho I’d steer clear if you’re sensitive to fragrance. You can find this for $4.99 at Ulta! For blush I went in with the essence - Satin Touch Blush in ‘Satin Coral’ for a subtle touch of color and essence - Pure Nude Highlighter which is probably my favorite powder highlighter ever. Since I used all powders for my makeup today I decided to give the e.l.f. - Elf+ Glow Dewy Mist a try! I picked this up recently and wow, I’m actually very impressed with the mist itself but the packaging is not the best ☹️ the nozzle just kind of spits out the mist and leaves big droplets on the skin which could potentially ruin all your work. BUT, let’s talk about the product inside because I think it’s really good! This mist is formulated with coconut water, hyaluronic acid and argan oil as key ingredients, all amazing ingredients for hydrated, dewy skin. It’s kinda milky in texture and feels very refreshing, helps powders melt beautifully on skin but I wish it was more of a fine mist. Lastly, for lips I went in with the CALEY COSMETICS - Beach Babe Natural Lips in ‘Nude’ which is very close to my natural lip shade, added some Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in Cherry since it has a subtle red tint and I think a subtle lip is key here. I topped it all off with the Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss in Red. Love this gloss, it isn’t goopy or heavy, and the shine lasts long. And that’s it! Lmk if you have any tricks to looking effortless below!
Current night routine 🌙
I wanted to share my current night routine for my skin, starting with when I shower, because it's really been working for me: 1. In the shower, I use a half pump of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser to tighten pores, get rid of any gunk on my face, and to brighten. 2. After I'm done showering, my blood pressure tends to go up because of circulation improving, so I get in my pajamas and apply Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum to calm any redness. Then I brush my teeth. 3. Next, I spray a little bit of Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray all over and roll my face using my SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Roller 4. I roll my face using the wide end, starting with my left cheekbone and go to the jawline while going in lines/diagonals on my cheeks. Then I do my forehead by going horizontally - the top first and moving down, focusing on my brow bones (bc of sinuses, same with cheekbones and undereyes), next is the right cheek same as the left, then chin, sides of nose & undereyes w/ small end, and I finish by going in lines like a fern - but the branches/stems, not the little leaves. starting in one spot, going out, and coming back but going to different spots each time until I get that area covered - I make 5 lines on both cheeks and forehead using this method. It's difficult to describe tbh - center between my eyes / middle of brow, for cheeks its by my ear opening) 5. After my face is all cooled off, I put on a dime-sized amount of either Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream or Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream and lather it all over onto my face and neck. 6. Don't forget your lips! I use either my birthday, coconut, or my recent fave - the fig Glossier. - Balm Dotcom 7. The last step is to spray some more of my Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray but I also have two other sprays - YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandhaand TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Thx for reading ! 😊
Morning Skincare Glow
So, I’m a big fan of the makeup-no-makeup look and for that I use Glossier, but for this picture I didn’t wear any makeup, just my morning routine! I’m still dealing with acne on my forehead, so I don’t like putting too many products or oily ones on my skin. This is my routine and if you like any of these products or want to try them, share your thoughts with me! M·S SKINCARE - MANTRA Skin Perfecting Cleanser This cleanser doesn’t dry my skin out too much and I appreciate the light rose petal smell. It’s a little thick and lathers beautifully which makes me feel like it’s actually working. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum I hate when serums leave my skin sticky, but this serum doesn’t! The ingredient list is great and hydrating and it’s feels light on my skin. I didn’t expect it to leave my skin as soft as it does, but I am not complaining at all. Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream My go to moisturizer. It’s thick and that’s exactly what I need to keep my skin hydrated. I’m not a fan that it’s scented because that can leave some irritation, but I haven’t experienced much for the months I’ve been using it. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ Hands down my favorite sunscreen. I prefer mineral sunscreens even though Supergoop!’s Unseen sunscreen (chemical) is high on my favorites list. I’m always talking about sunscreen and I know mineral sunscreens can leave a white cast, BUT Biossance did it’s thing with the sheer formula. I recommend it especially to those with deeper skin tones✨

These are the best lip balms I have ever tried :) The Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balm gives your lips a subtle, yet beautiful pop of color. It smells absolutely delightful and moderately moisturizes your lips. ♡︎ I use Carmex multiple times daily and is the most powerful balm I have ever used. It is an absolute life saver and I have never had chapped lips since I started using it!! ♡︎ The Inn Lip Glaze is marvelous—it smells and tastes like candy (I have to try my best not to eat it right off my lips haha!) and has a great applicator. It gives the moisture of a lip balm while also adding the gloss and color of a lipgloss!! ♡︎ The Glossier Balm Dotcom smells like a sweeter candy but doesn’t taste as good as the Inn Lip Glaze. I love the subtle color and moisture it gives my lips. However, despite its cute packaging, it is not as easy to apply as some other lip balms. I don’t particularly like how I have to use my fingers to apply it, but it is still a great lip balm nevertheless!! ♡︎
CARMEX- Classic Lip Balm, Medicated, SPF 15
Omg this lip balm with SPF that really works!
The Jane Iredale Lip Drink in Crush is among my all time favorite lip balms. It works and the color is perfect. I’m actually going to have to pull these all out of my bag and show them off. I just thought I needed to show off how the slight pop of color really lights up the face. My lips have been so dry this week. I almost never need chapstick but when I do it’s this one! The spf is great. Edible zinc, and I adore how creamy and non sticky Lip Drink goes on. The colorless color is my boyfriends favorite product. Don’t tell him the silver tube is for chicks! 😉 It has excellent staying power and smells and tastes great. Kind of peppermint meets a light fruit. 😋 Super natural tasting. Pick one up! I’ll be sure to show off all the colors soon. 👍 #cheriecteator jane iredale - LipDrink Lip Balm

Balm Dotcom failed me
Like many others, I fell for the Glossier hype and bought myself their infamous balm dotcom. It took me a while to realise, but I’ve finally realised that I really don’t like this product. I don’t think it hydrates my lips enough. The smell is very fake, synthetic and plastic-like. The product needs to be reapplied all the time. Everything feels wrong. What do I like about it then? Probably the packaging. Price: $12 for 0.50 oz. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom
First Impressions - Glossier Balm Dotcom
I recently purchased the Glossier Mango Balm Dotcom, receiving it in a Lip Trio (you select one Gen G, one balm dotcom, and one gloss). If it wasn’t already included in the lip trio, I can’t say I would have purchased it on its own ($12 for glorified Vaseline??), but nonetheless I was still very excited to try it out. You definitely won’t forget this is mango, it has a very strong, but yummy mango scent which I instantly loved. It has a slight peachy tint, but it is barely noticeable (if at all) when applied, which doesn’t make a huge difference to me either way. When it comes to formula, it is so smooth on the lips, and gives them a soft shiny look. This is petroleum based, so it won’t moisturize your lips as much as it will just prevent moisture from escaping, which is something to keep in mind. I applied it before I went to bed, and when I woke up my lips still felt soft which was a great surprise. I tried it on my cuticles briefly, and it felt fine. I probably would mainly use it for my lips, as I already have the Burt’s Bees Lemon Cuticle Butter that I use for that purpose (post available on my page). The one annoyance I felt was toward the packaging. I’m not sure if this is just me, but I felt like I had to squeeze quite forcefully in order to dispense the product, which makes me fear the tube could burst from the end if I’m not careful. I’m not sure if this is just because it’s a new tube, but it’s something I’ll be monitoring. Overall, this is a fun product, definitely not something you need, but nice to have if you really want it! glossier berry balm dot com
Hi!!! Today’s lil moodboard is the Glossier. - Balm Dotcom !! It’s my favorite balm from them & one of my favorite lippies. Claims: — hydrating — nourish dry skin — long lasting moisture Key Ingredients: — antioxidants — castor oil — beeswax — lanolin My overall thoughts: — the color is divine, a sheer purple red that makes my lips just a little more defined. — I love the scent, it’s truly very berry! — the color is buildable, so I can have pink lips to very deep purple. — not the most hydrating which sucks, but I don’t suffer from extremely chapped lips often so this usually does the job. — sometimes I’ll pair this with a light pink lipstick to give it more lasting power — $12!!! Atmosphere: — I chose the vintage blackberry bush photo as it reminds me of picking blackberries with my late grandmother. I would eat a whole bunch right there at the bush and my lips and face would be covered in juice!
Product Letdown: Glossier Rose Balm Dotcom
I am a HUGE fan of Glossier’s Coconut Balm Dotcom but was so disappointed by its Rose shade. Unlike Coconut, Rose doesn’t blend well into the skin and leaves my lips with a weird film until it finally settles. It just kind of sits there and I thought it would enhance my natural lip color with its rosy hue, but unfortunately doesn’t always work for me. I still use it for its lovely Rose scent but wish it blended better. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom
