SashaFinkelsteinBoth are pretty bad for the environment because they have polyethylene which is a type of plastic. It can hurt marine wildlife because we wash it off and it goes down the drain. I would recommend the banilla and co balm!

Asking for tips/suggestions!!!
The Ordinary - Retinol 1% in Squalane haven’t used it for a long period of time to give a review. But there are times i would apply this at night and my skin is feeling soft like a baby’s butt. The way i integrate this product in my routine, is that i would use this only as my active and the rest of my skincare is gentle and basic. Cerave hydratjng cleanser, kiehls calendula toner, then this serum, and finish it with a nourishing cream such as drunk elephant lalaretro whipped cream! I know retinol can be very drying which is why i used the moisturizer that has the most beneficial ingredients. I got myself two bottles thinking i would go through this quick, but i thought wrong. Which is why i started using it on my neck every day, i have some noticeable lines that i would like to get rid of. i would buff it with the cerave lotion, and apply a few drops on the palm of my hands and apply it on my neck and chest. I only use this once a week, ive learned it the hard way and used so much actives at once that my skin became hella sensitive. Any suggestions as to how i could benefit more to this serum? YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Tonerno ratings, because i haven’t used it yet! I ended up buying the smaller bottle of it, because for now i’m finishing up the drunk elephant aha/bha serum before i could try this product out. Please give me tips on how to use it, how i can incorporate it in my routine, should i just not have bought it at all? Lol 🆘

NEW IN: my skin care ritual just got fancy
ULTA had ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Perfect Partners on sale and I just had to guys. I love Elemis products and have been dying to try these two products. I love cleansing balms. They are the best thing to remove waterproof makeup without stinging and irritating your eyes. Yes, micellar water works as well but I usually use it after to make sure everything is off . This cleansing balm is so luxurious and oh my word the smell is absolutely divine. The balm is based with rose and mimosa waxes and are infused with elderberry, starflower and optimega oils and supercharged with anti-aging algae, padina pavonica— a Mediterranean algae with proven outstanding anti-aging benefits. Some of my favorites are: CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (works well but they test on animals) BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original Then I met you - Living Cleansing Balm After cleansing, I follow up with my new favorite retinol alternative ingredient, Baluchiol in ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum . I use this twice a day before moisturizing for that extra bit of moisture and protection from free radicals. I have to be honest, I have not tried the cream. I’m sure it is divine but I’m currently half way through two creams and it seemed wasteful to open this one... and I wouldn’t really be giving it a good test run if I’m still using the others right!? I will update in a later post. What other cleansing balm should I try? Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful **Elemis, Banila Co, Then I met you are all 🐰cruelty free.
All the cleansers I have emptied in 2020!! Im still trying all different cleansers but one item I will definitely repurchase: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm I feel all other ones are replaceable except for this one!
I've tried them and found this one is the BEST...
EVE LOM - EVE LOM Cleanser has a herbal scent and grainy texture. It's a little troublesome to use because you need to hot compress it with the cotton muslin cloth it comes with. However, it removes makeup very well and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight. It's the best cleanser I've ever used and I will be repurchasing it. Innisfree Cleansing Oil Balm has an apple scent and oily texture which I can't seem to wash off after emulsifying it! It feels like I have an impermeable oil film that cannot be washed off. I do not recommend trying this product. FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balmis very popular recently. It comes with a small spatula and spreads easily. After massaging it on the whole face, it emulsifies fast with water. It removes makeup and cleanses very well. Removing makeup is necessary every night. It's best to remove all makeup and sunscreen. Overall, I still like Eve Lom's cleanser the most. I like its herbal scent and it removes makeup well.
EVE LOM-EVE LOM Cleanser
Farmacy Green Clean
FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm this cleansing balm is definitely a cult favorite & I had decided to pick it up during the spring Sephora VIB sale because of all the amazing reviews I was hearing about it! essentially, this is makeup remover and face cleanser that is marketed to melt virtually all makeup - leaving skin hydrated and silky smooth ya girl has been using this regularly for the past 6 months and I think this product lives up to its claims 👏 on a everyday basis, it easily removed all my sunscreen, mascara, and brow gel. on my heavier makeup days, it melted away all my eyeshadow, foundation, blush and highlighter effortlessly. it has a luxurious, creamy feel and has never left a film / residue on my skin. overall, I think this product removes everything like a dream & although it’s $34 for 3.4 oz, a little bit can go a long way (it’s lasted me half a year) so this product is 5 stars in my book! definitely think it’s worth the price & would definitely recommend it to my homies 💯

Old vs New: Battle of the Cleansing Balms ✨
I work at a make up store so I wear a full face of make up 4-6 days a week. I’m a firm believer in the double cleansing method. It’s where you take a balm or oil cleanser to your face to remove all traces of make up and then go in with a traditional cleanser. With this method of make up removal/cleansing you’re getting everything off, cleansing your face, and providing yourself with a blank canvas for your skincare to work the best it can. ✨ The CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm has been a holy grail product of mine for at least 5 years now if not longer. It’s a hard balm that easily melts between your fingers. There is no scent to this product which I enjoy. I usually take a little bit, rub it between my fingers, and apply it straight to my face. This does an AMAZING job at removing all my make up. When you rinse off the product it doesn’t leave behind a residue or slippery feeling. It also doesn’t sting or make your eyes blurry. If it weren’t so expensive at $30 it would be the perfect make up remover. I decided not to repurchase purely based on price and the fact I wanted to see what else was out there. This brought me to the DERMA•E - Universal Cleansing Balm . For $13 you get almost the same amount of product as the Clinique. I saw good reviews on Ulta’s website so I decided to give it a try. Firstly, it’s A LOT softer than the Clinique. I’m not really a fan of the texture. It’s almost like a vaseline consistency. It also has a herbal rose smell that I’m not a fan of. It does do a good job of taking off my make up but it feels really weird on the face because of its soft texture. When you rinse it off there is a film left behind so you have to be very careful you get it all off. It doesn’t sting my eyes or make it blurry. I don’t think the Derma E is a bad cleansing balm and I will continue to use it til I run out but I definitely won’t repurchase it. It did a good job at taking off my make up but the experience wasn’t as pleasant as it is with the Clinique. I feel like I had to work with it more while the Clinique is effortless. I’m still on the hunt for a better cleansing balm! Please leave me a comment with your favorites ✨
CLINIQUE-Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
Maybe you've been hearing the phrase doublecleanse more and more lately. It's definitely the very trendy thing to do right now when it comes to skincare. I believe to first using an oil-based or balm cleanser that will really lift the impurities and the second is to use something that's super gentle and lathers nicely. Because the main benefit of double cleansing is that products can be more effective when applied to an already clean face, so having that first cleanser to remove and the second to penetrate is never a bad thing. I have recently added a new cleanser to my double cleansing routine and it's done an amazing job of sloughing away makeup and keeping my skin clear, yet nourished. Say hello to the Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm. At night, I go straight with this sorbet-texture formula that waves goodbye to waterproof mascara and even heavy foundation then it emulsify to more of a creamy texture that leaves your skin without any oily residue. I only use a tiny amount and then use a wash cloth to remove the balm as the first step to a double cleanse. I just love how gentle and non-drying this product feels. That happens because it has non-comedonic and non-irritating ingredients, including sunflower and ginger root oils that leaves skin hydrated and silky smooth. Moringa extract that nourishes and Papain to gently exfoliate the skin. It also contains a unique blend of lime, bergamot and orange essential oils that makes this product smell refreshing. As for packaging, I like how it came with a spatula which is super handy in keep it all hygienic.

Versed Day Dissolved Cleansing Balm
Versed Day Dissolved Cleansing Balm What it claims: this is a non drying cleansing balm use to wash away impurities and make up left over on the face. This would be used as a first cleanse when you double cleanse (since it’s an oil based cleanser). So make sure to follow up with a water based cleanser after using! It has clove and eucalyptus in it to give a really clean scent but all natural. This also has vitamin e and hydrating properties to cleanse but also not be too much for the skin to leave it feeling stripped or dry. This is a medium thick texture that doesn’t leave a greasy feeling or left or residue. You apply to dry skin, rub in and then wash away with water. This is will help also hydrate the skin with vitamin E to help with any scarring and healing of the skin. Honestly a great blend of ingredients for a cleansing balm! My opinion on the product: I really enjoy this cleansing balm! First of all, it is super affordable coming in at $17.99. That is a freaking great deal for good ingredients and an effective cleansing balm. I only use this at night to help remove dirt and impurities away from the day. This is a bit thicker than some cleansing balms I use which isn’t my all time favorite thing because sometimes its harder to wash off. But I do love how hydrating this is and refreshed I feel after washing it off! I haven’t noticed any benefits to to my skin but it removes my make up really well and also isn’t super irritating to my eyes! That is always a plus for me when a cleansing balm doesn’t make my eyes super foggy! I also love the refreshing scent - makes me feel so clean! This does exactly what it is meant to do, removing the dirt and grime! I would totally recommend this one, because I genuinely enjoy this and two, it is super affordable which is always a plus in my book!VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm
VERSED-DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm
I haven’t changed my mind about farmacybeauty green clean. It is still by far the best cleansing balm I have ever used and definitely a favourite skincare product! It’s very similar to banilaco but I find that this doesn’t feel as greasy on my skin. I also really enjoy the subtle fresh, citrusy scent 😍 anyways, look at that texture tho!
