KOJIC Acid Soap for Acne Scaring 🤔🙏🏾
Okay! So it’s been ALMOST, a month since I first bought the KOJIC Acid Skin Lightening Soap. I first used it Nov. 25th and took the second photo this morning on Dec. 17th. I’ve used it pretty regularly, every time I get in the shower so about once or twice a day, and then I follow up with raw organic shea butter or Vaseline because Winter. I want to say I see a difference, but to be completely honest I’m not really sure. The first picture wasn’t taken in the best lighting, vs the one I took this morning was much clearer and brighter. What do you guys think? I’m going to finish the soap, the box came with two bars and I’m still only on the first bar so I’ll post pictures again once I go through all of it or I see some major results. ✨ Some Tips ✨ So if you’re going to use this soap make sure you have a great moisturizer to follow up with, it is extremely drying and actually caused me to break out a little from all my natural oils being pulled out. Other than though it’s a very mild soap and it hasn’t irritated thus far. I only use it on my back, chest, and inner thighs. My chest has some acne scaring and my inner thighs are just a little dark from rubbing against each other (thick thigh probs. 😂) but that shows how versatile and light the soap is. It also has a nice citrus scent 🍊. I haven’t used it on my face, but if you do, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN, follow up with your best moisturizer and a good serum to seal everything it. I hope this helps someone, and if you have any suggestions or tips to help me clear these scars up please share!! Xo Staesha

SlightlyChaiI had some luck with applying the Ordinary’s Mandelic acid serum on my back. It wasn’t doing much for my face but it proved to be helpful elsewhere.

Find the right products for you. 🥰
-Thank you for reading me- If you saw my first post in this app you know I have been through a really ugly acne. 😶 But hey! I really thought it wasn’t going to go away unless I use “tretinoin” treatment. And since I am breastfeeding I thought I would have to stay like that for over a year or even two. 😖 But I didn’t give up. I found this app and I began to inform myself about products, Ingredients, my face type, the benefits of combining the right ingredients for each skin concern I had. I had black heads, I still have white heads, blemishes, hormonal acne, very wide open pores on my nose, my hydration was the worse. Sometimes I would even get cyst acne 😳 I made the mistake of using face scrubs every day Doing harsh treatments to my face because I thought the stronger the treatment the faster it will go. WRONG WRONG WRONG NELCYS lol I used to wash my face one day, and not wash it other days. I used to avoid moisturizer because I thought my face was already “way too oily”. I used to pick on those white heads and black heads, even using needles to remove them. 😳 I was wild 😦 Do not do any of those things. 🙅🏻♀️ Just give love to your face 👩❤️💋👩 And inform inform inform yourself. That’s the key 🔐 Thank youuuuu ladies who suggested me many products and ingredients to use! I will let you guys know if my scars are fading 🤗 And if you ladies need suggestions and hope, comment down below. I would love to help you guys just like you helped me. 🥰
Stripping down my skincare: organic healing
I want to use this platform to share my journey with you. I am a compulsive picker and plucker. It was a response to how emotionally scared my teen years left me. My skin erupted in cystic acne and I didn’t know how to heal myself. Instead I layered on heavy foundation (sooo cakey!) and responded with harsh chemicals that I didn’t fully understand. In addition to that, I PLUCKED my eyebrows so severely that I am still working to grow them back. When I would get anxious, I’d respond by picking at my skin and plucking my hair. This would only leave me feeling worse, when I’d see the outcome of those unhealthy behaviors. It’s been a long journey to undo the effects and habits of my past, but I’m happy to say that my current beauty routines are designed to celebrate myself, rather than punish myself! I know so many people tout caster oil, but let. me. tell. you! I saw results a month into using the oil on my brows. Before buying any over the top products filled with chemicals, try out natural oils and healthy beauty habits (like clean eating!) Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing what habits have worked best for my lifestyle change, and why going organic was one of the best decisions of my life pura d'or - Castor Oil Includes Bonus Brush Kit 100% Pure USDA Organic

Before and Progress! Journey to clearer skin!
I didn’t want to do a before and after because I refuse to believe that I am in my “after” phase. It’s important to note that this is progress but the journey is not over! I am so proud of how far I have come from just a year ago. I have suffered through major mental health drawbacks that have made me depressed, lazy, and disorganized. Now I have started to finally see that there is hope for me and I am more willing to take care of myself and become a more productive person (with the help of my psychiatrist and psychologist of course). I just wanted to say thank you for following my skin care/self care journey with me. 😊💕 P.s. if anyone has any advice on large pores I would love to hear it! Thanks!
amazing. I am so thankful to have found this product, I always kept buying drugstore gels to get rid of pimples and they never worked, i was rlly struggling and kept spending money on trash. Thankfully, my bestfriend susan told me her derm recommended this and said it was very good. So i decided to give it a shot. This is a short version of my journey, i have been using it for 3 months already!! I plan to continue using it bc i just would not want my skin like the way it was. It took about a few weeks for my skin to get used to this product but once it did it felt perfectly fine. I cannot believe my skin has gone this far! I still have a few scars but they are clearing up and my skin feels amazing.
DIFFERIN-DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel
What are these?
I’ve been getting these weird patches on my skin recently. In June, I bought a vitamin c serum. It was going well, until recently. Things were going well in June when i got it. I thought that these patches were from the serum, but it could be from something else. I don’t know really. They bother me a lot, and make me extremely self-conscious. If this helps, whenever I use my toner (The Ordinary Glycolic Acid), it seems to become redder, and it burns a little bit too. If anyone knows what they are, or if u know anything that can help them, that would be amazing, I mean it.
My freckles are not acne??
Does anyone else have this problem? I’ve been trying to do a scan of my face every night to see how my skin changes as I try to take better care of it. And I know I have acne... BUT the scan always thinks I have more acne than I actually do, because it thinks some of my freckles are acne. Does anyone else have this problem? I just want more accurate results. Maybe a way to edit the scans to say what is acne and what isn’t. Sometimes there are obvious pimples and it doesn’t register them. Anyone else kind of annoyed by this?
