KOJIC Acid Soap for Acne Scaring 🤔🙏🏾
Okay! So it’s been ALMOST, a month since I first bought the KOJIC Acid Skin Lightening Soap. I first used it Nov. 25th and took the second photo this morning on Dec. 17th. I’ve used it pretty regularly, every time I get in the shower so about once or twice a day, and then I follow up with raw organic shea butter or Vaseline because Winter. I want to say I see a difference, but to be completely honest I’m not really sure. The first picture wasn’t taken in the best lighting, vs the one I took this morning was much clearer and brighter. What do you guys think? I’m going to finish the soap, the box came with two bars and I’m still only on the first bar so I’ll post pictures again once I go through all of it or I see some major results. ✨ Some Tips ✨ So if you’re going to use this soap make sure you have a great moisturizer to follow up with, it is extremely drying and actually caused me to break out a little from all my natural oils being pulled out. Other than though it’s a very mild soap and it hasn’t irritated thus far. I only use it on my back, chest, and inner thighs. My chest has some acne scaring and my inner thighs are just a little dark from rubbing against each other (thick thigh probs. 😂) but that shows how versatile and light the soap is. It also has a nice citrus scent 🍊. I haven’t used it on my face, but if you do, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN, follow up with your best moisturizer and a good serum to seal everything it. I hope this helps someone, and if you have any suggestions or tips to help me clear these scars up please share!! Xo Staesha
Koji Soap for Back + Chest Scarring ⁉️ 😩
This is my first time trying out Koji Soap, I’ve wanted to try it for awhile after seeing some success stories. I have really bad acne scaring on my back from break outs, I do my best to exfoliate and keep my back clean, but it’s so difficult to keep oil from getting into my pores after washing my hair. *SIDE NOTE* please give me all your backne prevention + treatment secrets! 😩🙏🏾 I have no idea where to start and really need it. Anyways, I’m praying this soap helps fade all or most of my scarring but I’m a little nervous to use it, if anyone has tried it before, or knows how Koji Acid works please share. 🙏🏾🧡🧡
Repurchase worthy products from The Ordinary 😍✨
So Update! 🌈 I bought my first products from The Ordinary back in May, then did a repurchase sometime in August I believe. The first time bought their most popular products that a lot of people have talked about, while the second time I bought products specifically geared to treating hyperpigmentation according to their website. While everyone’s skin is different, and time is deffinitely one of the biggest components to getting clear skin, these two products have done tremendous work at fading my scars and keeping my skin supple & smooth. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution These two products are AMAZING, and in my opinion vital if you have any type of scarring, dark marks, or hyperpigmentation going on. I won’t ever not have them in my skincare cabinet. The peeling solution can be tricky at first because it is strong, but once you figure out what works best for your skin as far as timing and frequency, you’ll love it and see immediate and long term results. I have another post on Niacinamide so I won’t go into detail, but you need it. 😂 Not only has it faded my hyperpigmentation, it also keeps my skin super soft and supple. I didn’t notice it right away, but after consistent use your face will start to feel like a baby’s and you’ll want to tell all your friends about it lol. The last product I recently bought is The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil, this is a first time buy that I’ll review later, but it’s in the picture so I didn’t want to leave it out. Anyways, I hope this helps someone and if you have any questions or recommendations feel free to ask + share! 🤗 Xo Staesha

Nail Art For Beginners (Me) 😄
UPDATE: My nails looking nothing like this now, even though I spent two hours doing my best to try and paint them smoothly along with a new design, (I was going for an organic rainbow) I ended up with a total of 5 nails painted collectevily between both hands. 😅 Usually I’m pretty good with just painting nails but today I was so off they just looked terrible no matter what. 🙃 What are some of your favorite nail hacks/tools/designs/tips for the perfect manicure? I’m open to everything! ✨ Xo Staesha
Colgate For Pimples 2021 ⁉️🤔
Let’s talk old school vs. new school! I picked up the MARIO BADESCU - Mario Badescu Drying Lotion a few months ago after seeing a couple reviews on it behind a good spot treatment for those day ruining pimples that pop up over night. I was so excited to try it and really wanted it to work. So much so that I used it for way longer than I needed to knowing good and well it just didn’t work. 🤷🏽♀️ This bottle (I have the plastic one) set me back $17 and honestly I feel that it was a waste for me. It never hurt my skin, but it also never worked. After looking at the ingredients, I feel like it just wasn’t enough to really kill any bacteria on my face and that’s probably why I still woke up looking the same. Now onto the old school 👏🏾 Toothpaste! I feel like it’s been a staple for our older brothers and sisters to quickly get rid of a pimple. and today I know why! Toothpaste (I’ve found Colgate works the best lol) is packed with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, two ingredients that are know to dry out and kill bacteria on the skin. Now I know some professionals skinsperts may cringe at this and not agree lol, but it works so well for me and is super inexpensive. I have done some research on why toothpaste may work in shrinking pimples and I found the above information that I just gave, as well as that it’s possible toothpaste can dry your skin out too much to the point that you break out more. Because of this I wouldn’t recommend using toothpaste as mask or leaving it on for longer than overnight; and always make sure you patch test first. 👍🏾 Let me know in my comments what you think of this post and if either of these methods have ever saved your life like they have mine. 💜 Xo Staesha

Girl, you’re beautiful 🤍
So believe it or not, when I first saw these pictures (after I put my glasses back on to verify lol) I thought “oh, it’s not that bad!” 😅 I have struggled with acne and acne scars ever since I started puberty in the 7th grade. Some people struggle with their weight, features, skin tone, etc. mine has always been my skin. It has stopped me from talking to people, going out, and wearing the type of clothes that I actually want to wear. I have tried so many products and not seen results, gotten so many questions from people wondering how I got a black eye or informing me that “there’s something on your face.” It’s been a really long and honestly still ongoing struggle to believe that I and my skin is beautiful. But, I’m working on it, staying consistent, and as you can see it’s getting better! 💪🏾 I wanted to post this to remind anyone who is frustrated, sad, insecure, or even angry towards their skin that YOU. ARE. BEAUTIFUL! How smooth and glowy your skin is does not determine you’re beauty. Of course we all love that, and there’s nothing wrong with wanting clear skin, but please don’t put your happiness on pause while get there. You’re beautiful no matter. If you have a goal of evening your complexion and controlling your acne, research the best products/treatment for YOUR specific skin type and stay consistent. It’ll get better. In the meantime I’m wishing you all my love and joy! ✨ Xo Staesha 💜
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Skins started healing:)
Ok The past two weeks my skin’s gone from 0 to a 100!!! Idk if it’s the salt water or the fact that my face is constantly sandy I’ve been up in Byron and the only skin care routine I’ve followed is 1. washing my face with CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser 3. CeraVe - CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion the PM one for both mornings and night haha 2. Sunblock - Bondi sands face sunblock (I can’t find it on the app) it’s sooo good and doesn’t leave a white caste I didn’t carry any of my serums with me cause of extra luggage but the The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA has hands down been my favourite for scars and blemishes !! So basically, everyone should just move to the beach lol

Magic Vitamin E pills
I did my diligent research for Vitamin E oil. I’ll sum it up for all you beautiful people. Benefits of Vitamin E oil Helps to reduce fine lines/ wrinkles Minimize scars Helps to moisturize Help people who have Eczema How I use it: I really want to improve my skin and decided to use a vitamin E oil pill. I’ve used vitamin E oil in the past but it was not in a pill form. I notice that the pill form have a more thick consistency and a little hard to work with. I had to get a needle to pop the oil out and apply a small amount. I use a dapping motion to help travel the product throughout my face. It’s like blending a concealer into my face. The pill form is a lot more concentrated than the one that I used in the past. Where to get it? You can get it at your local drugstore How much is it? It can range from $5-15 depending on what brand you get. Tips on how to use it: A little bit goes along way!! Trust me !! If you still have left over from the pills I highly recommend to use it on your legs, arms, or wherever you desire. What brand I use? I just use the Costco brand (Kirkland) Cons: My oily friends; don’t use this on your face or else you’ll just clog your pores. Some people may have an allergic reaction, so test it out on your hand.
HOW I GREW MY SHORT EYELASHES✨
Product: GRANDE COSMETICS - GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum Key ingredients: -L-Proline: An amino acid essential to healthy, fortified lashes. -Hyaluronic Acid: Conditions and protects to prevent breakage and brings hydration to dry, brittle, or damaged lashes. -Botanical Extract Blend: A powerful combination of nutrient and antioxidant rich compounds derived from natural sources (ginseng root, chamomile flowers, and bearberry leaves); strengthens the lash follicle. -Glycosaminoglycans: Locks in moisture and boosts lash resiliency and luster. What it does: “A cult-favorite lash enhancing serum that promotes the appearance of longer, thicker looking lashes in four to six weeks, with full improvement in as little as three months.” - Sephora Why I bought: I always wanted to try this product out but was skeptical. I bought this on Amazon prime day for about 2/3 of the cost. There was lots of mixed reviews on the product— some saying it caused allergic reactions and some seeing amazing results so I didn’t know what to expect. How to use: Sweep the brush on the lids above the lash line (do not apply directly to your lashes.) Use every night. Results: The first day I used this I was afraid I was going to have an allergic reaction because I have sensitive skin. I saw horror stories of people’s eyes turning red, swollen and some causing bumps. I followed the instructions and did not have any allergic reactions. My first two weeks using the product I thought I could see small results but the product says optimum results 2 months in. Today was the 2 month mark of using this lash serum and I cannot believe the results! I did not know my natural, short lashes could grow to this length! I have heard that when you stop using this product your lashes can start to fall out so that would be one side effect if true. For right now I will continue to use this product until the bottle is empty. Would I repurchase? I would repurchase because the results are amazing but I would love to use a more natural product if it were to deliver similar results. (I recently bought a natural lash serum from Etsy and can’t wait to give it a try after this serum is empty.) I have posted pictures comparing before grande lash serum, 1 month with grande lash serum and 2 months with grande lash serum. I would love to here your experiences with lash serums! 💭⬇️

Are “Fox-Eyes” the new “Cat-Eyes”?
Do you already know Fox-Eyes? More and more women are now enjoying the make-up look that conjures up beautiful almond eyes, just like Model Kendall Jenner. Sexy cat eyes are characterized by a wide, curved eyeliner. This opens the eye and the gaze automatically appears more alert and radiant. Now, however, a new, viral makeup trend is on the advance: “Fox-Eyes”. The pics come from IG @whitneykshepherd, they show the difference lies in the position of the eyeliner. The Fox Eye look is about placing the eyeliner in such a way that the eyes look more almond-shaped and mysterious, rather than large and wide open. That is why you do not orient yourself at the end of the eyebrow when applying makeup to the eyeliner wing, but rather pull it straight towards your temple. This creates a kind of lifting effect for the eyes. The most famous celebrity examples of this look are the models Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner. If you want to further strengthen the Fox-Eyes, on the one hand, you can add fake lashes on the outer lash line. This optically lengthens the eye somewhat. Another trick is to apply and blur dark eye shadows along the line of eyeliner. This creates a nice smokey effect. Tip: Take the hair back strictly! As a result, the skin around the eyes is slightly pulled back and the shape of the eyes and brows looks more defined.

peach slices - Snail Rescue All-in-One Oil Free Moisturizer Have you tried snail products before? No worries, no snails were harmed in the process! They’re cruelty free. So I’ve been using this moisturizer for a month and half now as part of my AM & PM routine. I’ve tried a snail mask from tonymoly and I loved what it did for my skin so I was interested to see how this product would perform. Especially when this product claims to help with Fungal acne as well. For those who doesn’t like to read or have time to read, long story short: HOLY GRAIL. ADD TO YOUR LIST. NOW. For those who like details 👇🏻 This moisturizer is one of Peachslices newest launch line: SNAIL RESCUE; which focuses on three main ingredients- SNAIL MUCIN <antibacterial, gentle exfoliate>, CICA <healing, anti inflammatory> & HA < 💦 > (all of my faves- yes even snail secretions). Brownie points: Cute packaging. Major points- Affordable! $16.99 & under for each. 💯 🙌🏻🙇🏻♀️ I jumped on these like it was thirsty Thursday after seeing “zap zits fast” & “targets hyperpigmentation”. This moisturizer has a lightweight gel consistency that slides around skin easily and is absorbed into skin effortlessly. It gives my combo acne eczema prone skin the balance it wants - hydrate but doesn’t clog. Non sticky. A glow that makes me blush when I look in the mirror. My skin is brighter, clearer & I’M HAPPIER. I’m still human. I still eat a bunch of junk, SUGAR. Diet plays a huge role so to see improvements like this just amazes me. My skin is totally at its best and I’m so proud (until I became naughty and over picked my skin during extractions two days ago.. shame on me). I kid you not. My skin was beautiful. I also like to add, you know that sticky Drunk elephant c firma serum? I apply this right after that serum and it neutralizes the stickiness and pushes all into my skin. I love this moisturizer and it’s an empty soon. I am so happy I tried this moisturizer and will surely get more for backups and gifting. It is one of those products that will work for all skin types. Although it has gotten cooler and my skin turns from combo oily to combo dry, this moisturizer alone doesn’t provide enough hydration for me. So I like to layer a heavier cream on at night over this. My skin is loving it. I highly recommend it!
