The Perfect “No-Makeup” Makeup Product

I’m not really one for foundation. I usually use a very light foundation if I do wear some — i.e. The Ordinary’s serum foundation. I’m unfortunately a “face toucher” so I can’t be bothered with face make up very often. I usually slap on concealer and bronzer in terms of face make up. With that being said, I’ve been loving the Graydon products I currently have and when I saw that they had a tinted moisturizer primer I had to try it. I read so many good reviews! GRAYDON - Face Glow
For 40 mL this cost $24 CAD. I find I only use a tiny bit so the 40 mLs will last me a while. 🍁(PS it’s on sale. Regularly priced at $46 CAD)🍁 After my skincare I’ll pop this onto my face like I would any normal moisturizer. I use such a small amount and find it blends in beautifully. You can use a sponge or a brush but I’m lazy so I just use my fingers lol. This is perfect for a “no makeup” makeup look. The tint is gorgeous and gives me a healthy glow/complexion. Your skin looks radiant without looking like you’re wearing anything! I think it could work on most skin tones if you also wanted to just apply it as a highlight to your cheek bones or brow bones, or even under makeup as an actual primer. My concealer sits nicely over top of this and doesn’t cake or crease :) And with my bronzer I get a nice sun-kissed glow. I haven’t noticed any break outs, which is always good! 👌🏻 Haha! Why It’s Amazing: + It firms skin and improves elasticity with semi-precious smithsonite +Your skin glows with mineral-rich sustainably sourced mica +It brightens your complexion with ellagic acid rich raspberry seed oil +It minimizes the appearance of dark circles and spots with nutrient rich spirulina +It soothes your skin with aloe vera juice and zinc-rich pumpkin seed oil +It renews your look with skin nurturing sea buckthorn seed oil +It shields your face against the elements with non-nano zinc +It protects your skin from environmental stressors with rich buriti oil 100% recommend ❤️

BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector this corrector gives the perfect ammount of peach/pink that doesn’t stain the skin with to much color so you can wear with no makeup or minimal makeup! it has an amazing light technology that helps shine light back to further more correct and conceal. i really love these! they come in 2 universal shades. these shades both do the same thing, brighten and correct but in 2 universal shades! these are perfect for men who want to brighten their under eye or woman who need something quick! this can also be used under concealer which gives the most flawless finish.

During the summertime, I hate the feeling of anything cakey on my face. I normally use It Cosmetics CC Cream as my foundation, but I like something even lighter to even my skin tone in summer! I am absolutely obsessed with this product. I would definitely describe it as a very low coverage product, but it is the perfect amount of coverage for me. I apply drops to my cheeks and t-zone and then blend it in with a damp beauty blender. I have used my fingers before and it spread very easily, but I prefer to use the sponge! It provides even coverage all over my face, and wears so well throughout the day. Sometimes I will place a translucent powder over it if I know I will be out in the heat, but otherwise I just leave it and mist a dewy setting spray over it!Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint As you can see in the last photo, it’s great for covering imperfections but leaving things like freckles visible 😊

A $7 Concealer Worth Trying
A $7 Concealer Worth Trying
Yesterday I was rushing out the door for work and realized on my drive that I remembered everything except to put on my usual mascara and concealer. I decided to stop and grab any old concealer because that’s the one makeup product I can’t leave the house without (well, can leave the house without but don’t want to lol). I can do without mascara for a 12 hour night shift at the hospital though. I stopped at Walmart and decided to try the e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer because the price was right and the shade seemed relatively close to my favourite Too Faced Born This Way concealer. My Thoughts: + Concealer is light-weight. It claims to be full-coverage but I found it more sheer than other full-coverage concealers I’ve tried + It comes in a lot of shades which is great (28 I think!). I don’t think I picked up my exact shade but it was close enough when I was in a pinch. I grabbed the light beige. + It’s a satin-finish which I liked + It blends nicely at first. I did notice a tiny bit of creasing after a few hours of wear, but nothing anyone would notice unless you were looking for it haha + It’s hydrating! There’s nothing worse than a concealer that dries out your under eye area + The price is right. $7 CAD and you get a decent amount of product + I think this concealer oxidizes so be mindful of that I would definitely repurchase this product, although it wouldn’t be my number 1 concealer. I need to find my correct shade haha :)

#ad #cheriepartner This product was on my wishlist for well over a year before I finally took the plunge. I had very high expectations due to the price tag and they were met AND exceeded! This is such a great multipurpose product. You can use it as a glowy primer (I love to do that when I’m wearing a light coverage base), you can mix it into your foundation to add a little glow and/or you can use it as a highlighter after your base is applied! I have applied this over setting powder and powder blush and bronzers and have NEVER had an issue with it disturbing the product underneath it. It makes my skin look dewy, healthy and glowy, it lasts all day and words cannot express just how much I love it!! It is 100% worth the money in my opinion. I have the shade 2 Light, which is described as a neutral peachy beige for fair skin. Swipe for a swatch. It’s a little icy for my faux summer tan, but any other time of the year it’s the perfect highlighter shade for my light skin tone and my preferences. If you have been wanting to try it, I can’t recommend it enough! Buy it and thank me later! 😁🙌🏼 #charlottetilbury #hollywoodflawlessfilter #dewyglow #dewyskin #holygrailproduct #flawlessfilter

Which concealer is more worth it? Tarte & Undone
Which concealer is more worth it? Tarte & Undone
Preface: I love both of these concealers for different reasons and situations. I’m putting them head to head to show more options in the concealer world than shape tape 😉 I love a good sheer coverage concealer for daily use, but sometimes I need coverage for full glam looks. These concealers are awesome for different reasons but which one is more worth it? Products: tarte - Shape Tape Concealer UNDONE BEAUTY - CONCEAL TO REVEAL 3-IN-1 COVERAGE PALETTE Price Point: Tarte: $27 for .33oz Undone: $14 for .32oz ($10 at target) Coverage: Tarte: full coverage, able to be sheered out to medium coverage with a beauty sponge Undone: this is a unique product in that it has 3 different formulas within the palette itself: the top section is a sheer formula, the middle section is a medium formula, and the bottom section is a full coverage OPAQUE formula. You can use your fingers but I find it quite unhygienic so I end up using a spatula to apply it to my face & then blend out with a brush. Accessibility: Tarte: available at Ulta & Tarte website Undone: available at Target & Undone website Scent: Both have a clay-like scent but nothing overpowering. Overall thoughts: Overall, these are both great products. I really only use the Tarte shape tape when I’m going for a full coverage look. The undone beauty palette is so versatile so I can use it in any situation. Additionally, my skin type is dry so I find the Tarte formula to be SUPER drying even if applied over a hydrating primer. For this reason, I think both are worth their price points but would recommend the Undone Beauty palette over shape tape.

Review: Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
Review: Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
I decided to try this concealer, because I needed a new concealer and I had heard good things about this one, both here and elsewhere. I purchased from CVS, where it retails for $10.29. But I had coupons and Extracare Bucks, so I got it for $2. They have 18 shades. I am using light honey. I applied to half of my face so you can see how it works. I would call this a medium coverage, but the formula feels very light and does not settle into the fine lines around my eyes like some heavier concealers can. I normally use a color corrector under my concealer, but did not in the photos above. I did try this one with my color corrector yesterday and they blended well. When I first opened the package, it took a minute to get the product up in the sponge applicator. But after that, I had no issues with this product. It is definitely worth the money, even if you pay full price.
