When You Need that Extra Refresh

avatar
Stacym
Today I woke up feeling quite blah and wanted to feel more refreshed. I don’t currently have any apparent issues with my skin but I wanted to make my skin look and feel more awake. Do you ever wake up feeling just dull and wanting to give yourself that boost, even if it’s just something small like taking the time to do your skincare? I randomly picked out the products I thought would be perfect for making my skin feel refreshed and this is what I came up with. Of course you should pick any products you feel will do the trick for you :) 1). I first cleansed my skin (and skipped the toner today) 2). I applied the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
I always apply this all over my face, including under my eyes because it’s so hydrating and gentle. 3). Next, because niacinamide is the unicorn of all skincare products and mixes well with everything, I chose to add that next. It’s great if you have any noticeable redness or blemishes. 4). I applied The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG
to depuff my eyes. 5). I then followed with OLAY - Eyes Brightening Eye Cream
for that extra hydration (as if I didn’t get enough from the hyaluronic acid haha). 6). Then I applied REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream
I know some online articles say not to mix vitamin C with niacinamide as they think they counteract each other’s benefits, but there’s no proof that this actually happens. With that being said, I love this vitamin C gel cream because it smells amazing and it makes my skin look nice and bright. 7). And just because I felt like it, I finished with a tiny bit of The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
Although my skin isn’t dry, I felt the more moisture the more refreshed I’d feel. I love all of these products and highly recommend everyone to try them out, even if it’s just a sample. I have nothing bad to say about any of them. If you’re ever just feeling dull, blah, or needing a pick-me-up, it’s nice to just take the time to treat your skin. Use the products your skin agrees with, of course. I have normal skin and I’m thankful all of these products agree with my skin.

my night routine! (oily/acne prone)
I've only been practicing skin care for 3 months! I've always washed my face and moisturized sporadically.... but never really took the time to the care of my face. my skin was oily, full of huge pores, and I was prone to crazy breakouts that I picked at due to an anxiety disorder. needless to say, snapchat filters were my best friend. that changed with one of the products on this list! but I'll get to that later. I'm going to list them in order of my routine. yesto - Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal DIY Powder To Paste Mask – feelunique.com Exclusive this product is great. it cleans and gently exfoliates my face without being overdrying or harsh. leave my skin feeling soft! re:vital renew glycolic acid/kelp toner- this was an impulse buy at old navy! lol. but it definitely helps my skin regenerate. the only negative is sometimes after using it, my makeup might pill on dead skin the next day. but it comes off easily with a fluffy brush. The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' this is the latest product in my routine. I use it at night but I am going to add it into my morning routine as well. I like this product a lot and I've noticed a slight decrease in my forehead lines. I'm excited to see more results. Fourth Ray - Remedy 10% Niacinamide Serum honestly this stuff is my holy grail. I'm going to get the ordinarys niacinamide after this bottle is gone. but this stuff was my first serum I've ever used, and when I tell you it changed my face, it completely changed my face. my oil production went down. my pores got smaller. my face is so soft and I hardly ever break out anymore. can't recommend this enough! The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 once I started using this on a wet face instead of dry i noticed such a difference in the performance! it makes my face so soft and glowy! it doesn't feel heavy or make me shiny. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I know this stuff doesn't work miracles, but honestly I love what it does for my eyes. there's a noticeable difference in the skin around and under my eyes immediately after I use it, and I've noticed less puffiness and darkness overall. love this stuff. the last thing in the unmarked green bottle is my homemade face oil. face oils are so easy to make and customize to your skins needs! I used almond oil for a carrier oil. it has a comedogenic rating of 2, which means it is a moderately low risk, which is fine for most skin types but may clog pores for some people. it works well for me. I also mixed high quality clove and peppermint oils into it. peppermint oil is a naturally antibacterial and antiseptic oil that is good against acne. clove oil helps reduce sagging and has anti aging properties. its easy and relatively cheap to make your own face oil! I started off with 2 drops a night for my whole face and now I do 4. its a great way to get extra moisture at night! what are your favorite products to use at night?

Hydrating PM Routine
I don’t always use the same products since I have so many; I like to change things up. Tonight I was going for more of a hydrating routine. Step 1: I cleansed my face with the FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser This cleanser is, as the name suggests, ultra gentle and soothing. I apply this to wet skin and massage it in, ensuring I get the dirt and oil, etc. from the day off. Rinse with warm water and you’re good to go. This smells great and I’m obsessed with honey and bees so this is heaven for me. Step 2: I don’t always use a toner but tonight I felt like it. I used an old faithful: REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Toner I love this toner because it smells amazing and it gets rid of anything I may have missed while cleansing. I like using a toner when I feel like I need to exfoliate and help out my pores. I love the glow this toner gives my skin. Step 3: I can’t remember the last time I skipped out on using The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I use this every day, twice a day. AM and PM. I cannot get enough of this. I rarely have dry skin anymore because of this product. It keeps my skin so hydrated. Step 4: My other love is the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I love the Inkey List niacinamide as well, but I felt like I should pair TO with TO. Like I said above with toning, I like to keep my pores in check and this is wonderful for doing so. It decreases their appearance and if I have a spot this clears it up so quickly! Step 5: In keeping with wanting my skin to feel extra hydrated, I went with the The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil This light-weight oil is super hydrating. It’s also a great alternative to a moisturizer but is also great to mix with a moisturizer. Whenever I use this in the PM, I wake up and my skin looks really glowy and I’m all about that. Step 6: Hydrate and moisturize your under eyes if you feel like they’re looking a little dry or dull. I love love love this eye cream: OLAY - Eyes Brightening Eye Cream It smells nice and fresh, has brightening effects, and is super moisturizing. Whenever I want to add that extra moisture under my eyes this is what I reach for. Step 7: I sometimes mix the Rose Hip Seed Oil with the The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA but tonight I decided to use these separately. I adore this moisturizer because it’s really hydrating and gentle. It’s not greasy and it doesn’t clog my pores. I don’t always use a moisturizer after using Rose Hip Seed Oil but because I wanted to really moisturize my skin, I added this. Step 8: I like to add a lip scrub on occasion and I love this honey flavoured one :) It smells great and it makes your lips feel hydrated and so soft SEPHORA COLLECTION - SEPHORA COLLECTION Lip Balm & Scrub

Great Drugstore Eye Cream
OLAY - Eyes Brightening Eye Cream Whether you believe in using eye cream or not, I have to admit this is nice drugstore find. While it retails for $38.99 CAD at Shoppers Drug Mart and $34.98 CAD at Walmart, which is comparable in price to eye creams from Sephora, it’s very easily accessible, which makes it a great find. It’s definitely on the pricier side in terms of drugstore buying though. This eye cream claims to hydrate your under eyes to reduce dark circles, wrinkles, and smooth fine lines. It contains: -Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) -Vitamin C -Caffeine -Optic brighteners ✨These ingredients are to help protect your skin from pollutants and to provide hydration My thoughts: It basically has no scent to it. It’s light-weight, and feels very hydrating. It does instantly have a brightening effect due to the optic brighteners as they reflect light. Concealer and other makeup goes on overtop nicely. It doesn’t have a greasy feel either, which is ideal! It makes my under eyes feel refreshed. While I do not see any change in dark circles, I do think this is great if you have dry under eyes. Oh! And you only need to use the tiniest amount because it goes a long way. I rate this 4/5 because I find it pricey considering it only contains 15 mLs of product. However, I still find it lovely and suggest trying a free sample from your local drug store if you can :)

Newbie Skincare Routine! Any advice?
So, i've recently had an awakening when i realized that i was slowly (yet, quickly) approaching my 30s (turning 27 in October). Figured, now is a good time to start taking care of my skin and tbh, just had my two kids and it'll feel nice to pamper myself now. I've started dipping my toes into the skincare world quite recently and have done so by watching Skincare by Hyram, Susan Yara, and reading up on all sorts of skincare junkie pages. So far, i've learned the basics and am attempting to incorporate more "serious" products (serums and treatments) into my skincare routine (which was just cleanser, toner, vit c, moisturizer, spf and the ocassional mask). First thing's first: i have oily combo skin. Not acne prone, just the ocassional pimple now and then. I also live in Ontario and have kids under two and workout 3x/week. So that pretty much tells you my state and environment. So i've pretty much laid the whole routine out out in my chart (hehe sorry, i love charts). I had to do it since it was so intimidating to begin with specialized products. I haven't used the REN or Laneige masks, or the TO retinol yet, but am going to this week. Been using the Thayer's tone, SPF and complex 15 for about 3 months now and they've been fine. Everything else has been used twice. I don't cleanse in the morning. Just the thayer's toner and the rest. My issues are probably an oily Tzone, larger pores and uneven skintone. I'd love any tips, advice or Feedback! Thx!

Before & after on Paulas choice products 🙏🏼
I started incorporating Paulas Choice products into my skin care routine. This is before and after after a week and three days!! Helped with pores, oil production, redness, black heads and evening my skin tone. Morning Routine: Cleanser CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Exfoliant PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator I actually hated this product at the beginning made my face extremely red and itchy after cleansing. I THOUGHT I saw no difference in my black heads and was going to toss it but giiiirrrrrrrlll the hype is real 👌🏼 ——————————————————————- I alternate between retinol and vitamin C in the morning Moisturizer REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream I used to love this but I realized this did nothing for my skin other than hydrate. Currently looking for alternative due to the ingredients. —————————————————————— When I’m not using vitamin C gel I use: Treatment PAULA'S CHOICE - 1% Retinol Treatment with Peptides + Vitamin C I’m slowly working this into my skin care routine but it’s by far my favorite product. Because BHA irritates my skin, I applied retinol and instantly cleared off my redness and minimized the size of my pores. Moisturizer BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer The only moisturizer my skin loves. Hydrates but not to the point to make my skin angry and break out. It feels like water it’s so refreshing and it alleviates any irritation my skin could be having. ————————————————————— SPF REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30 I use this every morning this is my right hand man for my 10 hr shifts. If I don’t wear this I’ll be red and oily within an hour. This does have a bad rep due to texture it is very thick and hard to mix in after it’s dried. My only con is that it leaves a white cast if applied too much. Night Time Routine: Cleanser CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I double cleanse with this at night Exfoliant PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator Treatment PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster I tried the ordinary’s version and my face hated me for it. But this one calms my skin entirely even after any harsh products I’m using. Treatment PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster It’s too early for me to tell if this is working on my acne. Moisturizer BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer I’ve had difficulty finding products that suit my oily sensitive acne prone skin and decided to splurge a little. Definitely worth it. If y’all have any recommendations for tweaking my skincare or helping with acne/dark circles please let me know!

Girl you need Hyaluronic Acid in your life
I’m sure you’ve been hearing about it everywhere and here’s why‼️ Your skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid to help skin stay moisturized but as you get older you produce less. You can apply it topically to compensate for this and keep skin hydrated! More hydration means less wrinkles. Works for any skin type woo hoo! Acts as a shield against environment stressors like air pollution You can use it every day, even twice a day to keep skin hydrated and looking good! Why I love The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The price point! At $7 its super affordable No alcohol, parabens, silicones, sulfates, or oil Hyaluronic acid paired with B5 helps support skin hydration Works great under your moisturizer and makeup/ can be used both morning and night Really has helped me get rid of dry patches that plagued my skin and also has helped my overall skin appearance. *Tip: apply to damp skin so that the product doesn’t feel sticky on your skin!

Hyram Approved😍The Ordinary or The Inkey List? Which is the BEST?
The Ordinary and The Inkey List are getting a lot more popular recently because of how affordable they are. In this post, I will give you the answer from Hyram through the ingredients evaluation and his own experience. Niacinamide: treats so many skin problems, such as redness and sensitivity, dark spots and hyperpigmentation, controlling the oiliness in the skin, etc. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%($6) VS. THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum ($7): Ingredient Winner: The Inkey List: in addition to Niacinamide, it contains a lot more incredible ingredients, like Radish Root Ferment to soothe sensitivity, Squalene to hydrate the skin, Sodium Hyaluronate is a concentrated form of hyaluronic acid, Soybean Oil to retain skin moisturized Experience & Performance Winner: The Ordinary: super lightweight and sinks into the skin easier, great for people who have combination to oily skin. Whereas The Inkey List product has a thicker consistency with a heavier layer on the surface of skin, great to dry to normal skin. You can choose any from them based on your own skin type.  Retinol: a powerful ingredient to repair multiple types of damage within the skin, including acne scars, pigmentation, fine line, aging, sun damage, etc. The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5% in Squalane($6) VS. THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum($10)Ingredient Winner: Tied. The Inkey List claims to have 1% retinol but actually 0.5% retinol and 0.5% hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, with is an ester of retinoic acid (an extremely powerful anti-aging and repairing product)Overall: The Ordinary is better because of how many options of retinol at different concentrations they have for a variety of skin types. Retinol can cause a lot of sensitivity if you’re not careful with the concentration Experience & Performance Winner: The Inkey List: No heavy feeling, easy to spread, very effective but non-sensitizing. However, The Ordinary products don’t feel very easy to apply.  Hyaluronic Acid: helps to hydrate and condition your skin THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum($8) VS. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 ($7)Ingredient Winner: Tied. The Inkey List contains Peptides to help soothe and plump the skin, Glycerin to draw in moisture, and radish root ferment. The Ordinary has Ahnfeltia Cocinna Extract to hydrate the skin. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid): brighten pigmentation and dark spots, protect against free radical damage throughout the day. While it is a very unstable ingredient, it could be very effective when it’s put in a stable formula. Ingredient Winner: The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone($7): It’s a water-free formula, but also has squalene, coconut alkanes, which is great for hydrating and moisturizing the skin. Experience & Performance Winner: THE inkey LIST - Vitamin C Brightening Cream($10): very lightweight on the skin, and Hyram never had sensitivity while using this product.  Glycolic Acid: dissolves all the dead skin cells off the surface of your skin to make your skin glow and hydrated Ingredient Winner: The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution($9): the primary ingredients have Glycerin, a bunch of different amino acids, and Panax Ginseng Root Extract to support the health of the skin Experience & Performance Winner: THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Liquid Toner 100ml($11): no sensitivity reaction but still effective for exfoliating the face  Cleaners: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser($8)THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser($10), THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm ($10), THE inkey LIST - Oil and Water Double Cleanser($10)Ingredient Winner: The Inkey List Experience & Performance Winner: The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm ($10): incredible for moving sunscreen, oil, and dirt from the face  Moisturizers: Winner: THE inkey LIST - Hemp Oil Cream Moisturiser ($13): good for reducing redness; THE inkey LIST - Snow Mushroom Hydrating Gel Moisturizer($10): great for reducing sensitivity; THE inkey LIST - Multi-Biotic Balancing Moisturizer($13): great for healing the healthy bacteria count on your skin The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA($8): it is good but in comparison to The Inkey List it just doesn’t stand out  Check the link below to watch more from Hyram, and let me know if you have any thoughts.💖💖 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Znd29c8mTo&feature=emb_title

AM/PM Skincare! No foundation needed! 💋
AM/PM Skincare! No foundation needed! 💋
Before moving to a 4-seasoned country, my skin was just normal and one moisturiser was enough but when I started to experience winter and cold days I noticed that my skin was so dry and it’s becoming itchy all of a sudden. I tried different products Khiels, Neutrogena and Nivea and it worked but they only work for a span of time and not longer than I expected to buy a new bottle. Then, I discovered these products which made my skincare life changed! The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA are my go to go every morning before work and it really blends well coz it leaves my skin hydrated all through out the day. And guess what, I dont apply make up foundation coz I felt like it would make it more dry. So just serum, moisturiser, blush and eye make up and im all good! At night to give yourself a price after a long day, I used the Hyaluronic serum and The Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalane to blend in the hydrating factors making it stay in your face and decrease the signs of aging. Well, it really makes my skin plum, brighter and less wrinkle appearances. These products are pocket friendly and gives you the best results that more than worth your pocket!!! Finished 3 bottles already and im keen for more! 💋

Rapid Reviews: The Ordinary Serums
Rapid Reviews: The Ordinary Serums
The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% My absolute favourite vitamin c serum, with a boost of alpha arbutin. Amazing at lightening PIH and uneven tone. It does have a slightly unpleasant slick texture that is 100% worth the quick results and gentleness. It’ll be hard for me to pay to try another vitamin c serum considering the affordable price and wonderful results I’ve experienced. The Ordinary - Retinol 1% in Squalane I used the various levels of TO’s Retinol in Squalane to slowly adjust my skin to retinol. Love them! They soaked in well during autumn and winter, with zero irritation and minimal purging. I did find they absorb better applied alone. Didn’t help my acne much but I did see scar texture improvement! It’s so silky and softening, I can’t imagine another retinol being better for those with dry skin. The Ordinary - Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% I honestly don’t notice a difference when I use this serum. It’s for long-term skin health so I didn’t expect much in the couple months of use, but it feels slick on skin for an unfortunate length of time so I dreaded applying it. I prefer my Paula’s Choice antioxidant serums. The Ordinary - 100% Organic Virgin Sea-Buckthorn Fruit Oil This stains tf out of shirts and pillows. Your face will be rusty orange for a couple hours. It smells kind of weird. But it is the most calming, nourishing oil I’ve ever used- moreso than rosehip, marula, jojoba, squalane, even from luxury brands. I’m going to order a refill for my tretinoin journey! It heals extracted blemishes beautifully and leaves skin silky by morning. I can’t recommend this enough for anyone with dry skin and those that pick at their face/acne. The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA If your skin dislikes vitamin c (or you already have a vitamin c serum) but you want to fade hyperpigmentation and uneven tone? This stuff has been a favourite in my routine for years until I switched to the (first) mentioned sister product. It applies light, soaks in quickly, caused no irritation, and I saw rapid results compared to vitamin c. Not as quick as Azelaic Acid, but close! Love it. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% Not pictured but I love it so immensely. It takes a million years to absorb (expect tacky skin until it does) but the soothing, healing aspect has me dreading when my bottle runs out. For a seriously packed peptide serum, it’s pretty affordable- $28.90 for 30 mL. The inability to mix it with acids is annoying but my blemishes are always so much less red and disappear very quickly when I use this serum. It does have a somewhat metallic scent but I happily deal with it and recommend its sister product (The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' ) as an intro the peptides and this for anyone looking to try out copper peptides for their improved healing properties!

The Ordinary - honest review
The Ordinary - honest review
So I started seeing The Ordinary products all over my social media’s and decided to jump on the hype train. My first purchase from this product line were the Niacinamide and the Hyaluronic acid serums. I was so excited!!! I love the simple and to-the-point packaging. I absolutely love that they come in glass instead of plastic as well. Unfortunately, that is where my love for these serums ended. When using these serums, I found that they applied well but were kind of sticky once applied. After about an hour the serums started to pill really badly on my skin. I had originally purchased with the intention of using morning and night, but because of the pulling I could only use at night. I didn’t see any real difference in my skin after using them, which really bummed me out because I wanted to love these products so bad! Overall I gave each serum 3/5 stars ⭐️- basically for the packaging and the fact that they use clean ingredients. I would give 1/5 stars for texture and results. This is a personal review as I know that a lot of people have had great results with these serums. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I have super dry skin even if you can’t tell by looking at it, so I’d love to hear from others with dry skin and how these products worked for them!

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
The Ordinary-Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
⭐️ So I’ve been using these 3
⭐️ So I’ve been using these 3 products from The Ordinary for the past week and here is my thoughts on each of them: • Lactic Acid: This is the perfect serum to introduce into your skincare routine if you’re new or semi-new to acids. It’s mild and super effective! I was dealing with a lot of dry skin, congestion, and dullness; within two uses of this serum, I was able to see the difference in my skin. Brighter, cleaner and smoother. If you have sensitive skin, you may experience some mild redness and tingling - that is completely normal and will subside within a couple seconds or mins. You certainly have to build your skin’s tolerance to products like these (aka actives). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars) • Hyaluronic Acid: I do like this serum, but I am still experiencing some *SLIGHT* dryness in my skin. Could also be caused from my other skincare products (cleanser, toner, etc...) but it’s working waaaaaayyy better than my last HA product that I was using. My skin has definitely seen a huge turn around within the past week so I don’t want to be too hard on this one; definitely more hydrated. So far so good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars) • Squalane Oil: I love layering products and ending my routine with a face oil is always helpful for my skin. It really traps all the good products in and helps my skin from drying out throughout the night. It is a bit on the heavy/thick side but I prefer that. Doesn’t leave my skin looking or feeling greasy - just moisturized and plump! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars) I am overall extremely impressed with this brand. I was on the fence about purchasing from them, but I am so happy that I did. I bought these products because I was looking for exfoliating and hydrating serums and I absolutely found that. The best part is the price! 🤑 I’m always afraid of dropping lots of money on products and they end up not working, but these are pretty inexpensive and all three cost me about $20! Plus they work!! Give them a try if you’re curious. Hope this review is helpful 💚

I bought a bunch of The Ordinary and here is my fav👍🏻&meh👎🏻
I bought a bunch of The Ordinary and here is my fav👍🏻&meh👎🏻
I bought a bunch of The Ordinary just to see if they are actually good. Here are my favs and mehs. Fav: 💓💓💓 1) The Ordinary - Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% Effects: Anti-oxidating and brightens skin complexion Evaluation: I have used SkinCeuticals PREVENT C E Ferulic serum in the past, but it didn't feel as good as The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%. This Resveratrol is a very niche product. Someone gave it to me but I didn't care too much about it at first. After using it for a while, I realized it brightened my dull skin. How To Use It: It has an oily texture, so you can treat it as a serum if you have dry or combination-dry skin and you can also mix it with a toner if you have oily skin. 2) The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Effects: It cleans acne and scrubs off dead skin cells, and it's great as a daily chemical peel Evaluation: It's a little pungent but the results are really good. After using this toning solution, the bumps on my nasal wings are almost gone. How To Use It: I first used it 4 times a week, but went on to use it 2 to 3 times a week when my skin condition improved. After washing my face, I'll dab some of this toning solution on a cotton pad and wipe it across my face and neck. Avoid using it around your eyes and use it only once a day. 3) The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Effects: Reduces swelling and dark circles Evaluation: It does a great job at helping to reduce swelling. I went to bed late the night before which gave me a swollen face and eyes, so I used it on my entire face. You can see an obvious reduction in swelling in just a short time. How To Use It: Normally, I use it as an eye cream. I only use it on my entire face for special occasions. 4) The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA Effects: Eliminates bumps and dead skin cells, and can be used as a daily chemical peel Evaluation: Lactic acid is much more gentle than glycolic acid but the result is not as obvious. Lactic acid also feels better to use compared with glycolic acid, so I'll definitely repurchase it. If you have sensitive skin, you can start with a 5% concentration of lactic acid. How To Use It: I'll dab some of this lactic acid on a cotton pad and wipe it across my face and neck but not around my eyes. I also avoid using it on my cheeks. Meh: 💔💔💔 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Effect: Whitening Evaluation: I applied sufficient sunscreen but still didn't see any effect in terms of skin brightening. It also becomes pasty, so I won't repurchase it again! I hope this is helpful. How do you like The Ordinary? 😜

My had been
H y d r a t i o n My had been super dehydrated recently, I'd mist, apply HA serum, apply moisturiser, then another moisturiser and then lock in with an oil and my face would still feel tight and thirsty. I was reccomend The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA. This is an actual god send for me! First application and my felt hydrated, soft and plump. Yay! I was expecting it to be greasy and not absorb but boy was I wrong. It has a creamy texture, absorbs very fast, immediately hydrates and has no scent. It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid, which are all naturally present in our . These elements keep the outer layer of our protected and hydrated. My barrier was damaged by a crappy job at dermaplaning and it seriously compromised my 's levels, I could not find a moisturiser in my stash that was up to the job. I cannot praise this product enough as a week in, my feels almost back to normal, my face is hydrated, I can smile without my face feeling like its going to crack. This little gem set me back a whole £4.90 for 30ml, I'll be going back and purchasing the 100ml for £6.80 next, it's such amazing value for money.
