FAB eye cream IS fab!
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Eye Cream This is a new product for First Aid Beauty. I wanted to try this because I love the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye cream. What pulled me in was the fact that it has peach micro-pearls and the main ingredient is niacinamide. Likes: Immediately after application you notice your under eyes looking so bright and dewy! Concealer goes on seamlessly over top. This product is also fragrance free, alcohol free, and is safe for sensitive skin :) Dislikes: For now, the only downside is that there may be too many micro-pearls, leaving your under eyes looking almost sparkly.

Re: Pigmentation NIOD - RE: Pigment Serum I’m obsessed with all things The Ordinary so I ventured onto the Deciem website to see what else I could buy. I came across this and had to try it! It’s a “multi pathway brightening system”. That alone really intrigued me! Description: “A highly-saturated, ultra-lightweight, emollient solution incorporating modern advances in biotechnology and peptide technology to fight signs of one of the most complex-to-treat dermal concerns: hyperpigmentation. This formula visibly counteracts both uneven pigmentation, such as spots, as well as overall pigmentation issues through several pathways. This multi-pathway approach optimizes the synergy between the technologies in contrast to networked technologies that approach visible pigmentation through the same mechanisms.” Directions: Lightly shake and apply serum to face in the AM or PM. *use sunscreen with this and avoid unnecessary UV exposure* Likes: This product feels great on the skin! It’s light-weight and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. Just a few drops goes a long way! Dislikes: A 15 mL bottle was $39 CAD, and a 30 mL bottle is $70 CAD. It’s so tiny compared to 30 mL of The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA which is great for hyperpigmentation (and it’s only $8.90 CAD!!!) The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA

Treatment for discolouration! PETER THOMAS ROTH - PRO Strength Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment I just received this product yesterday. I’m giving it 5 starts because I am sure I’m going to love it! This product contains niacinamide, which helps reduce discolouration and uneven skin tone. You apply this product twice daily, morning and evening to those pesky spots you want to diminish! It’s a white gel-like formulation that absorbs nicely into your skin :) This product it’s great for: dark spots dullness uneven texture, and; blemishes. Downside: it’s $116 CAD! Hopefully it’s worth the $$ 🤞🏻🤞🏻

MARCELLE - Micellar Water This is my go-to for removing waterproof mascara! It’s alcohol free, fragrance free, and hypoallergenic! This means is perfect for sensitive skin, however it claims to be good for all skin types :) I’ve used this products for over a year now and have gone through so many bottles. It sells for approximately $14 CAD which, to me, is a great price since it lasts for so long. I love this for removing waterproof mascara but it’s also great for removing any type of face make up. I use this every night that I wear mascara, even for non-waterproof as it just makes it that much quicker. With waterproof mascara I find this removes it a lot faster and easier than other micellar waters I’ve tried. I simply dampen a cotton pad and let it soak on my eyelashes for a few seconds and then gently rub my eyelashes until all of my mascara is gone. The great thing about micellar water is that you don’t have to wash it off, however, I usually wipe the residual product off as I apply my other skincare afterwards and don’t feel I need to leave it on. My verdict: I rate this product 5/5 because I can’t think of anything I don’t love about it. It’s affordable, removes waterproof mascara quickly, is fragrance free, is great for sensitive skin, and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily. Oh! And this product contains argon oil which is great for nourishing, moisturizing, and regenerating.
ST.TROPEZ - Gradual Tan Everyday Tinted Body Lotion I love St. Tropez products!! As you can tell, I’m super pale right now haha. This product is amazing if you don’t have time to use a mouse or a spray self tanner! It’s a gradual self tanner that you put on exactly like a body lotion and it leaves your skin looking so sun-kissed! The only downside is that it smells like self tanner, but you can’t really get away from that ever.

The “double cleanse” cleanser you need to try! The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser If you’re looking for an inexpensive oil cleanser for that double cleanse, then you need to try The Ordinary’s Squalane Cleanser! This cleanser comes out white and looks like your ordinary (pun intended) cleanser. You simple massage the cleanser in your hands to heat it up and melt it down into the oil consistency and apply it to your dry face and massage it in. This will remove your make up and the sebum buildup from the day. Next you follow with a water-based cleanser! I absolutely love this product! It comes in 50 mL or 150 mL sizes :)

Can’t live without concealer
It’s finally happened- I found the best concealer that I’ve ever tried. I have genetic dark circles under my eyes that I’ve had for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried countless concealers and color correctors that I’ve lost count of everyone I’ve tried. Then I found tarte - Maracuja Creaseless Undereye Concealer It comes in a range of shades and using the online tool with descriptions of the shades I was able to choose a shade I thought would work for me, and it turned out to be perfect. This shade is light beige. The formula is very creamy. It blends beautifully and covers VERY well. I usually use a color corrector under concealer but in these photos I did not and you can see the difference in sides of the coverage I got. It never looks cakey and lasts all day. I’m glad to have found a concealer that covers so well that I can finally relax and not worry about how bad my dark circles look.

dark circles blaster
this brightening eye cream from origins is a fan favorite for sure- and I can say I am one of them! this eye cream is perfect for dark circles as it truly does brighten, I personally noticed a difference after the first few uses, and my dad started to use it also, and he noticed a difference right away! I also found it to be soothing and hydrating around my eye and overall made me look healthier. after using it for about a month I was able to form this review. this eye cream is meant to help brighten and de puff, and can be used morning and night. It is a thick creamy texture with a slight beige tint, which actually makes a nice under eye illuminator! this eye cream is formulated with coffee beans, panax ginsing and magnolia extract which are perfect for brightening the under eye area. You only need a small amount too, which is why I think it is worth the price- as it is below $35. I didn’t break out or get any irritation from this product and neither did my dad. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a brightening eye cream! I give it 4/5- only not a 5 because I didn’t notice anything dramatic immediately, but I wasn’t expecting that as I know not many eye creams could do that, but maybe there is a miracle eye cream out there! Nonetheless it is a definitely one of the best eye creams I’ve tried to help lighten under eyes. ORIGINS - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff

Serum to soothe the skin
The Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum is said to hydrate, calm, brighten and firm the skin. It has clear, lightweight gel like texture. It absorbs in quickly. Obviously, I don’t have a glass like skin after using this serum but it soothes my skin, hydrates and gives a nice glow. It is fragrance-free, cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types It is formulated with: Peach extract which is full of vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids, Niacinamide- has antioxidative properties and help brighten skin, East Asian mountain yam extract helps to create more supple skin and reduce flakiness, Madecassoide: derived from Centella Asiatica extract, helps with inflammation and soothe skin while stimulating collagen production, Hyaluronic acid complex provides hydration by locking in moisture, Peptide complex helps collagen production.

Struggle with acne? This acid has helped keep my breakouts at bay. It is a pretty strong product so I do not use it everyday. I have to alternate days that I use this and I focus more on applying it to my T-zone and problem areas. My skin can be sensitive after using this product because it increases cell turnover rate and peels away the top layers of the skin cells exposing new softer baby skin. So you want to make sure you use sunscreen afterwards. The price point is affordable and for the results I highly recommend. It has similar effects to drunk elephants AHA serum and is a fraction of the price!Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector

my skin routine & what i’m weak in (suggestions)
i used a vitamin c based face mask today (brother ordered me a big pack of face masks off amazon, no brand?) and then once i got in the shower i washed my face with the tarte cleanser i’ve been raving about forever tarte - SEA Deep Dive Cleansing Gel and when my skin feels slick, i use a cotton pad with some micellar water on it to clear up my t-zone. any suggestions for minimising my pores? i don’t get much acne, and my only problems are oily t zone and enlarged pores (some blackheads on my nose as well)
