Not everyone could give this VC essence a try
As a girl who wants to whiten herself all the year round, I also spend a lot of money on whitening essence. From Olay to SK2, I have tried all of their famous whitening products, and they all have good whitening and brightening effects. The ingredients are safe and won't irritate the skin. But whitening essence is different from person to person, not every product can have the effect to everyone, also not be the composition in every essence is safe to you. This product I would like to introduce today is this Alpha Arbutin 2% Whitening Serum from The Ordinary, and I'll tell you how bad it is for me. This The Ordinary whitening essence is a web celebrity product, because it is very cheap, only less than $10, when it comes to affordable whitening essence, it will definitely be mentioned. But for me, the effect of this product is really a long story, not only did not play any whitening effect, but let my face constantly allergic, long red acne. My skin is mixed with oily skin, which is more oily in summer and dry in winter. Moreover, most importantly, I don't have sensitive skin. I can safely use many products containing acids without any side effects. The quality of a material that says it first, it is translucent elite quality of a material, fluidity is stronger, when you put it on your face, it absorbed still calculate quite fast, have flavour of an essence, not very natural smell. Its whitening ingredients are very sufficient, can be said to be the strong medicine in whitening products, the main ingredient is nicotinamide, also contains alcohol, for sensitive skin, is a very unsafe product. In general, if you are using nicotinamide products for the first time, it is best to start with low levels and use them gradually. But after using this product for a while, it still causes my face to turn red and allergic. After I couldn't use it on my face, I started to apply it on my body, hoping that it would whiten my body a little, but after a few months, it didn't work. So, it's not recommended, even though it's cheap.
Quick lil skin update
Phew my skin has calmed down so much since the last time I posted 10 days ago. I cannot even explain how bad purging was for me. I realized I had so much gunk clogged in my pores it was insane! My skin is finally calming down and getting smoother. Not completely, still have hyperpigmentation and some small comedones but I feel like I’m finally over the worst part🤞🏽😅 My current skin care routine definitely feels less harsh than what I was using in the beginning and is as follows: AM Routine: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Gentle on my skin in the morning, not stripping or drying but kinda pricey I feel like you could find a similar, cheaper option SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C and Turmeric Face OilJust started using this for the past week so I can’t tell if it’s doing anything yet but it’s fast absorbing AND it’s THD Ascorbate (as opposed to Ascorbic Acid) meaning it’s more stable, can be mixed with niacinamide and other higher pH ingredients AND has a longer shelf-life The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HAAlso just started using this so not sure if it’s doing anything CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin A+, love to death elta md SKINCARE - UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 Another ride or die🤞🏽 PM Routine: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil I’ve learned that I love cleansing OILS as opposed to balms but there are cheaper options out there ☺️ CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin Started using this again at night and so glad I did! It really feels like it’s cleaning and getting into my pores 🧼 (key: after washing my face for a minute I let the wash sit for another minute or 2 to let the SA really sink in) SKINCEUTICALS - Blemish + Age Defense MY HOLY GRAIL. Has really transformed my skin in the past 2 weeks, definitely recommend if you’ve got the budget cause this bad boy sits at $92 PURITO - Centella Green Level Calming Toner I apply this thick calming toner 15 minutes after letting my skinceuticals absorb in my skin and it’s so calming love it ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream Love this thick eye cream especially when I put it in my skin care fridge, not sure if it does more than moisturize though THE inkey LIST - Ceramide Night Treatment Nice consistency, not too heavy or light, but not sure if it does anything yet The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane 2 drops at night to seal everything in, has my skin waking up glowy and non irritated ✨
Struggling with sudden acne :(
I’ve normally had pretty clear skin with a pimple or two during that time of the month, but in the past three weeks my skin really just freaked out. Honestly I think it’s because I tried a bunch of new products at the same time: the Paula’s Choice BHA, Purito BHA mild exfoliating pads, and the Banila Clean it Zero. I’ve since stopped all of them just to help my skin calm down except it doesn’t seem to be getting better :( My current routine: CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin I only started this three days ago because I’ve heard such great things about it’s ability to clear acne but it’s been too short a time to really see any results PURITO - Centella Green Level Calming Toner Amazing toner, I’ve been using this for 2+ months now and it really helps calm my redness and is just a good lightweight toner. The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA Got it a year ago and I love the way it makes my skin feel but not sure if it’s really doing anything ETUDE HOUSE - Soonjung Hydro Barrier Cream Very calming, a little thick-ish but really hydrating. Haven’t been using this for too long either but it’s pretty non-irritating and safe for sensitive skin At night, I’ll also sometimes use: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Doesn’t absorb super well into my skin so I only use it on my problem areas, have been using for a year or so Please help!! I’m freaking out about my acne which causes my acne to be worse which causes me to freak out even more :’) thanks!!

SKIN SCRIPT-Ageless Hydrating Serum
So guys I said I would be back with an update with some products that I purchase and here is the out come of one of the products that I purchase. So I stated in my last post I have sensitive skin and one of the products that I ordered to try out and heard a lot of good reviews about it and was willing to try since I notice my skin was getting clearer and less acne on my cheek area I decided to get the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 This product was not gentle on my skin and broke me out even more to a point where under my eye are all black like somebody sucker punched me 😫! I have break outs where I don’t normally have and that’s one flag that I notice this product is not for my skin! as you can see from the pic I did a side by side where my skin was clearing up and where I started using the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I have to start back from the bottom and do a step by step process all over due to the severe damage that my skin went through with this product! So guys I will be back with an update with some products which I am currently using to help me get my skin back to what it was before Using the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and give you an update about these product which I started using already!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum
Hello guys! Look at this cutie! Today I'm sharing with you guys this Good Molecules Discoloration Correction Serum which I use for hyperpigmentation and discoloration issues for my complexion. This product is marketed to clear and even skin tone and improve texture and pore size, with the main concerns being hyperpigmentation and discoloration. The texture of this serum reminds me of a syrup, its not quite watery and its not quite oily or goopy either! She thicc. For this reason, I wasn't a big fan of the consistency on my face because when drying it felt a tad sticky on my skin. I've been using this product on and off in my nighttime routine for a couple weeks, so I'm not too certain of my opinion on this product yet because I have not noticed a huge difference in my complexion! It hasn't made me breakout or given me any adverse reactions, but I also haven't seen any results yet. To see results I would have to incorporate this into my routine on a more consistent basis for sure! I would recommend this to others however because if you are struggling with hyperpigmentation, I know others who have seen great results from this product! Hyperpigmentation isn't solved overnight, its a loooong process that requires patience! For that reason I do think this product is worth it, besides the fact that it is such a good price at only $12 online!
FRB Reveal / lets kiss those pores goodbye!
The Fourth Ray Beauty Reveal 10% AHA Serum Retails for 15 USD x this a serum that helps/claims to improve the appearance of the skins texture, complexion and minimize the appearance of pores. x notable ingredients that I love: lactic acid, glycolic acid and hyaluronic acid. Also contains strawberry and pomegranate enzymes. x texture: not sure if it is just mine, but it’s a bit of a thicker serum, see photo #2 for reference. Not very water but i still find it lightweight and not too sticky. x my overall thoughts/experience: this is okay. I appreciate the ingredients and that it is budget friendly, but I didn’t find it particularly amazing or any wow factor to it. I did notice my pores did look tiny and more minimized while using this and it played well with others in my routine, but I find I have better products in my collection that can do the same and more. I did see some decent results with it and thank goodness no breakouts, but this is a product that fell short for me. x with any acid product, make sure you are building up your tolerance to it if you don’t have previous experience and of course always wear SPF. x would I recommend this? Yes to those who are beginners and want to start getting into exfoliating serums/products and because the price is too good to pass it up. Would I recommend this to those who are looking for something a little more? Probably not. Of course, everyone has their own preferences so to each their own :) x my Cherie rating for this would probably be a 3/5. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it.
Are you applying Hyaluronic Acid Serum right?
What is hyaluronic acid ? It’s a sugar molecule our own bodies produce. It holds/retains water (1000xs it’s size) and that gives it a category as a humectant. Its found over your entire body but most abundant in your eyes. The older you get (like anything else) the less you make. (which is why dry eyes seem to bother a lot of people as they age). What does it do for your skin? 💦 Keep any skin type HYDRATED (yes you’re acne prone, rosacea, sensitive skin is safe) 💦Helps diminish FINE LINES & WRINKLES 💦Give skin a SOFTER FEEL How you are supposed to use it! Hyaluronic acid should be applied to DAMP skin. Why? Because imagine putting a humectant (which holds water) on your DRY SKIN (seems redundant). I apply my hyaluronic acid as my first serum (works from lighted to heaviest when applying skin care). I use a spray bottle if I apply at night (due to my routine) and just use my essence (for extra moisture) during the day. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is good because of its minimal amount of ingredients. It’s slightly sticky but it does hydrate my skin.

My Long Way to Correct Acne Spot
I have been constantly struggling with acne. Now I’m approaching my age of 24, I begin to find my skin become less prone to acne although occasional acne will show up when I stay up. Now I’m using some products that are able to make dark spots fade away. I have dry skin, and I think some of my acne results from poor moisturizing because the skin cannot naturally go on its metabolism and hydro cycle. Therefore less dirt is transported out through pores, leading to inflammation. My favorite two products that do well in relieving dark spot coincidently contains the ingredient niacinamide, a versatile ingredient that works for each type of skin. Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly minimize enlarged pores, improve uneven skin tone, and strengthen a weakened surface. I especially find the following two products of daily routine help to solve the problem of dark spot or pigmentation without irritating the skin. · Filorga Laboratories NCEF-ESSENCE FILORGA - NCEF-ESSENCE This lotion is one hyped skincare product. This contains not only niacinamide but also hyaluronic acid. This combination of ingredients works extremely well to fade my acne spot and moisturize the skin layer. It is really a good starter for skincare for it is versatile and mild, giving the skin a very good foundation for later steps. · The ordinary Niacinamide 10％+Zn 1％ The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% High-Strength Vitamin and Mineral Blemish Formula. This is a strong product that can be applied three or four times a week. Remember to test in the back area of ears if you have never tried products of high concentration. I tried and I didn’t break out so it was really a good one for me. I usually apply it along with Elizabeth Arden Capsule. Ordinary should be applied to the topical areas where dark spots are evident. Use it for a couple of weeks and you will see amazing results. I hope everyone who is struggling with acne or dark spots caused by acne will find their way to solve the problem and have a perfect and uneven tone.
