Dupe of Estee launder? Even better!
For pre-mature skin, antioxidant essence is as important as sunscreen among anti-aging products. Antioxidant products are products that need to be used for a long time before the effects can be felt, and their effects vary from person to person. Different sections of prices can have totally different effect. The most famous product from Estee Lauder must be the Advanced Night Repair serum, but today I would spend more time on introducing its dupe product, which is the sesderma - Resveraderm Liposomal Serum
A Supercharged Vitamin C Serum!
Dime Beauty Company Vitamin C, B, E + Ferulic Acid Prior to trying Dime Beauty Company’s Vitamin C, B, E + Ferulic Acid, I had been faithfully using Skinceuticals cult classic CE Ferulic and I was quite happy with it because I didn’t know any better! Then, I won a gift certificate to Dime Beauty in an Instagram giveaway and I chose to try Dime’s Vitamine C, B, E + Ferulic Acid and I am forever a convert. Let me tell you why… Both products offer some of the same benefits: Ferulic Acid: This is an antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals that cause premature aging. It also stabilizes Vitamin C (so it’s important that, if you are getting a Vitamin C Serum, that you get one that has Ferulic Acid) and enhances the nourishing benefits of Vitamin E. Vitamin E: Restores hydration by nourishing the lipid barrier and preventing the evaporation of existing moisture, known as Trans-Epidermal Water Loss. It also acts as an antioxidant. The texture of this product, similar to Skinceuticals FE Ferulic and many serums like this, is a clear watery liquid. There is also no fragrance or scent to speak of, which is always great when it comes to skincare products, in my opinion! Now, let’s talk the differences between the two products. First of all, the Vitamin C itself, the most important part! Skinceuticals offers 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin C in its most efficacious form. Dime Beauty’s product, on the other hand, offers 20% L-Ascorbic Acid - so you’re getting more bang of this antioxidant ingredient - already an improvement! Then, there is the addition of Vitamin B - two forms of it - that isn’t included in Skinceuticals CE Ferulic! Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide): Niacinamide is an ingredient being used in a lot of skincare products these days and for good reason! It’s a workhorse! It improves the appearance of enlarged pores, brightens dull skin, defends against environmental toxins and UV rays, increases the production of ceramindes, improves redness and blotchiness of skin, regulates facial oil flow, helps prevent hyperpigmentation and minimizes lines and wrinkles! Phew! Vitamin B5: This is a humectant, a natural hydrator that stabilizes skin’s barrier function which results in an increase in the amount of water your skin holds onto. Finally, there’s the price! Skinceuticals CE Ferulic clocks in at the whopping $166 for 30mL - definitely not a price to take lightly. However, the Dime Beauty Vitamin C, B, E + Ferulic Acid - which boasts an additional 5% Vitamin C as well as two forms of Vitamin B that is not included in the Skinceuticals product - comes in at $28 for 30mL. Given the additional Vitamin C percentage, the addition of Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) and Vitamin B5 as well as the SIGNIFICANT price difference, I will continue to purchase Dime Beauty company’s Vitamin C, B, E + Ferulic Acid moving forward and would recommend others do so, as well! No need to spend all that additional money to get an inferior product, in my humble opinion!
One of my favorite everyday serums comes from amalia skin - their Antioxidant Milk. — This serum is unlike any other in my collection. It’s milky texture is a godsend for my dry skin and it wears like a dream under makeup. Ingredients include niacinamide, phloretin (to help lighten dark spots) and tetrahexydecyl ascorbate (a form of vitamin C). It’s one of the only vitamin C based serums that doesn’t irritate my skin or feel sticky until it fully absorbs. — There is only three products within Amalia’s range, but they’re all made with love and it shows. Their Refreshing Gel Cleanser is, by far, my favorite cleanser this year. The texture reminds me of Glossier’s Milky Jelly, but even gentler on my skin. It’s amazing! I’m at the bottle of my bottle of both the serum and cleanser and will absolutely repurchase.
Beware: Ineffective Moisturizer
I’d rather get coal than this Murad - Skin Perfecting Lotion - Blemish Prone/Oily Skin I am a huge fan of Murad, but this lotion was a no-go for me. This lotion claims to be a lightweight moisturizer that will hydrate your skin while minimizing the appearance of pores. It also states that it is good for oily skin. The texture is very light, runny, and water-like. Based upon the texture, I thought this would not work well, and...I was right. If you have hydrated skin, then this might work for you. However, I have combination skin, and this did not produce any moisturizing effects nor did it do anything for my pores. I honestly felt like it made my skin more dry than it was before. For $42, this is not worth it. That is a lot of money for an ineffective moisturizer. Unfortunately, I would only recommend this to those who have very balanced skin and only need a light moisturizer. I give this 2/5 Stars.

The creams are very lightly scented. The serum has a little more of a scent but not overly so. It’s a clean floral scent.

Vitamin C brightening serum
I love this serum! It smells a little funny and it’s super expensive, almost $200, but totally worth it! It feels a little sticky at first but it subsides. It is marketed for oily and pigmented skin. It has a plant property in it that is supposed to help with pigmentation. I use it mainly for antioxidant protection and for brightening from vitamin C and it does both of those. I have repurchased this so many times and a little does go a long way! Just a few drops in the morning after I wash my face and I follow with SPF. The vitamin C is a pure form that protects your skin for over 24 hours so you do not even have to use it everyday! For sure my favorite antioxidant serum, I will never stop using this product :):)
Review! Antioxidant Hydration Drops by celestiaskin. This serum consists of some lovely ingredients Hyaluronic acid, saccharide isomerate (Pentavitin) which is a plant derived hydration which creates a moisture barrier on skin after application and binds onto the layers of the skin. Vitamin b5 and rice protein is also used for hydration. Davidson plum and Kakadu plum plus Rose de mai, white tea and Mangosteen extracts are used for added vitamin and antioxidant protection. The serum is light weight and absorbs really quickly and leaves no sticky finish that comes with some hydrating serums. I have been using this every morning for the last 4 weeks and it has been so lovely to use. It spreads easily and works well with other products, so no pilling. My face feels hydrated and really balanced after using this. It has the slightest scent which would come from the Rose oil which at the bottom of the list.. My skin is combination and I find this effect for my skin. I really really enjoy this serum and will continue to use this in the morning. Thank you celestiaskin for a lovely serum. Serum is free of artificial colours, artificial fragrances, SLS, parabens, and Pegs. They are also cruelty free and made in Australia.
