My fav oil to add to my baths. 🛁
I love using an oil in my baths because I find that sometimes the hot water can be a little drying on the skin. My favorite one to use is Neutrogena - Body Oil
DIY Shimmer Oil
I’m going to be honest. I avoid the sun at all costs and I am too lazy to self tan, but I really really like the look of glowy skin in the summer. I can’t help it. In my quest for the perfect glow, I stumbled upon a few shimmer oils but was blown away by the prices. $59 for 3 oz of body oil? No thanks... The thing is, I do use body oil daily. I like to put it on over my moisturizer (CeraVe moisturizing cream) to lock it in, but I also like that it gives a little sheen to my skin. Plus the scent is amazing. That’s when I got to thinking, why not make my own shimmer oil? Using stuff I already had, I was able to whip this up in 10 minutes and the result is a subtle glow and shine that lasts all day. Here’s how to do it: 1. Grab a body oil of your choice. I like Palmer’s because the scent is sweet and it absorbs really well into the skin. An oil works better than a lotion because it has a subtle glaze-y glow to it already. Plus you don’t have to break the bank. Here are some good ones: PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil Neutrogena - Body Oil Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil 2. Grab a powdered highlighter (pressed or loose, cream will not work) that blends well with your skin tone. Test it on your arm to make sure it blends to a slight glimmer without any light or dark cast to it. The more translucent the better. I used doucce pressed highlighter in “solstice” because I had it laying around. If your highlighter is pressed, use a spoon to remove it from its container and stir until it’s broken up. Here are some ones I like: doucce - Freematic Highlighter Mono wet n wild - MegaGlo Loose Highlighting Powder NYX - Shimmer Down Pigment 3. Using a funnel (or a piece of paper wrapped into a cone), combine about 1/2tsp of powdered highlighter to your body oil, close and shake. Add more for a more dramatic effect, up to 1tsp of highlighter. 4. Apply daily over moisturizer or directly to skin! And that’s it! Go get your glow on. -XOK
Aveeno Product Review
Aveeno has to be one of my favorite, if not THE favorite, drugstore skincare brand. Their products have always been gentle and deliver great results. I absolutely enjoyed using the Positively Smooth shaving gel. Just like it promises, it leaves my body smooth and clean of any hair. It foams up very well, and there is no reaction at all when I shave or after. It also leaves my legs feeling very moisturized. I highly recommend this if your skin is sensitive or you’re just looking for a gentle shaving cream!

My body care routine!
I love skin care but sometimes we forget the skin is literally the largest organ of our body. People stop taking care of the skin below the neck but the rest of the body shouldn’t be neglected. I try to be diligent with my body care as well! I love using Nécessaire - The Body Exfoliator as my body exfoliator because it’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin. It’s not harsh for my eczema! I go in with my Nécessaire - The Body Wash in Eucalyptus, it’s refreshing and awakening due to the eucalyptus and it suedes up good enough! It’s not drying and my skin doesn’t feel stripped after using it! Nécessaire - The Body Lotion *chefs kiss* this is my favorite because of how hydrating it is but it’s not thick! There’s no fragrance and not irritating on my skin at all!! These body care products have worked super well for me the past few months and Necessaire is a brand that I’ve been using for a few years due to their effective ingredients and something I genuinely love using! Definitely makes me feel like I’m at a spa everyday! #cheriecreator #cheriepartner

1. Lubriderm - Daily Moisture Lotion, Normal to Dry Skin, Fragrance Free Lubriderm's Daily Moisture Lotion for Normal Skin provides long lasting hydration for the skin on your body using ingredients that already occur naturally in it. Developed by dermatologists, the moisturizer is infused with vitamin B5 and other essential nutrients to maintain smooth, soft skin all day long. In clinical tests, the formula was shown to lock in moisture for 24 hours after the initial application. The lotion is lightweight, non-greasy and super absorbent, so it feels great when you put it on, and it is also available with a light fragrance or in a fragrance-free version. Pros * Inexpensive * Non-greasy formula that absorbs quickly into your skin * Fragrance-free version good for sensitive skin Cons * Formula hasn't been changed in years * Tested on animals * Doesn't include sunscreen if you are wearing it during the day I have been using Lubriderm for years. I have eczema on the back of my wrists, and it gets even worse in the wintertime. It can be hard to find lotion that's gentle enough for my cracked skin while still being effective. Lubriderm is one of the only lotions I've found that isn't painful at all and that keeps my skin moisturized for a long time! It's non-fragrance but still has that nice clean smell that you want to put on your body. Unlike some other products, the container is large enough that I don't have to repurchase it every two days. I'm glad that I found it; Lubriderm stands out! I personally use Lubriderm and love to apply it after my morning shower and before bed. I'm not surprised that Paula calls it outdated - my mom used to have it around the house when I was a kid, and it doesn't feel or smell like much has changed. For an inexpensive moisturizer, I think it provides adequate hydration for normal to slight dry skin. I would challenge the claim that it has been clinically shown to lock in moisture for 24 hours, but it definitely provides relief from dry skin at least half that time. I really like how absorbent it is, too, because there's nothing worse that having to wait to get dressed while your moisturizer soaks in. As my skin gets older, I'll probably try to switch to a lotion that helps slow the signs of aging, but, for now, I'll stick with Lubriderm and continue to supplement with an SPF during the day. 2. Lubriderm - Advanced Therapy Lotion, Deeply-Hydrates Extra-Dry Skin You can feel silky smooth with Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Moisturizing Lotion. It deeply hydrates extra-dry skin, leaving it soothed and thoroughly moisturized. With vitamins E and B5, and skin essential lipids, it replenishes and strengthens your natural dermal moisture barrier. The innovative formula is safe to use throughout the day on a regular basis. It’s clinically shown to moisturize extra-dry skin for 24 hours and transform it for a healthier-looking, resilient appearance in just one week. An easy-to-use dispenser bottle makes application effortless. It has a refreshing, non-greasy formula. Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Moisturizing Lotion, 24 fl oz: - Dermatologist developed - Enriched with vitamins E and B5 and skin essential lipids - Clinically shown to moisturize for 24 hours - Clean, non-greasy feel - Safe to use regularly throughout the day - Hydrating lotion for extra-dry skin comes in a convenient dispenser bottle The consistency of the lotion is between a cream and a lotion – it’s not super thick nor very watery, just the right texture and absorbs like a dream. The hydration remains till the next day without any issues of dryness and what I love the most about it is the pump (it makes life so easy) and the non-greasiness. I have sent one to my father as well who is a diabetic and gets skin issues from time to time. He too has found that this lotion makes his skin condition better and maintains hydration. Pros of Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion: • Non greasy. • Fragrance free. • Hydrating. • Convenient pump bottle. • Long lasting hydration. Cons: • None.

Eczema prone skin
First things first, follow me for more content like this 😘💖. So I’ve struggled with eczema all 21 years of my life. When I was younger I would get frequent flare ups and they would last for such a long time. But, as I got older I had less flare ups and they wouldn’t last as long. Recently (since July) I’ve had a really bad flare up on my arms and legs. I’ve been extremely itchy and uncomfortable. I also wanted to switch my moisturizer because I was using the nivea and that was scented and too light for my dry skin and I literally hate using Shea butter in the summer. So I searched for a heavier lotion that could help with my eczema. I came across the cetaphil and I thought it could work and it was only $13. So I bought it last month and I started using it. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and all I can say is that my flare up has gotten worse (not sure if it’s the lotion or my constant scratching). The only thing I like about this moisturizer is that it’s heavy enough that my dry skin won’t soak it all up and leave me dry in the next few minutes. It’s super hydrating and moisturizing. But I do not get itch relief with this product 🥺. It makes me sad because I really wanted it to work. I recently just bought eczema honey, so I hope that works (review will come soon). I hope this helps someone🥺💖. It’s not a bad product, it just didn’t do much for my itch relief, more so for my dryness. It also does have an oatmeal scent to it Cetaphil - Restoraderm Eczema Calming Body Moisturizer

If you have eczema you know the body wash struggle. I don’t even have to explain. I found this shower oil recommended online and figured I’d give it a go because I LOVE shower oils. It did not disappoint!!! It goes on like an oil and turns into a rich creamy wash for your skin. It is fragranced, but does not bother me whatsoever and has actually improved the texture of my eczema. Sorry I don’t have before pics, but you can see in the pic I have less flaky patches and pustule looking spots on my arm! Highly recommend this product to anyone struggling with an inflammatory skin condition! BIODERMA - Atoderm Shower Oil

Favorite Drugstore Scented Body Wash
NATIVE - Natural Body Wash - Citrus and Herbal Musk Body wash has always been something difficult for me to find. Everything gives me major hives that stay on my skin for hours. As someone who usually bathes twice a day, this was obviously a huge headache. I’ve been using Johnson’s baby body wash and/or Dove sensitive skin. But, I always miss the scent experience when using those. I purchased this one on a whim, and I ended up absolutely loving it. It’s a clear gel formula that lathers up super nicely and doesn’t dry out my skin at all. I use it mixed in to the Johnson’s or Dove so it’s not too strong, but I’ve used it by itself and no hives! Even though this scent is marketed “for men” I love it, it’s a sophisticated citrus scent, which is my all-time favorite scent family. I highly recommend checking this out, it’s amazing, smells great, and is really affordable at ~$7. 5/5 stars?
