Worst Herbivore Product that I’ve Tried
HERBIVORE - Prism 20% AHA + 5% BHA Exfoliating Glow Facial This product is supposed to be an amazing, 10 minute flash facial that gives you baby skin. All it gave me was a severe allergic reaction all over my face. You gotta patch test this baby!!!!!

Bite Lippie 😋
BITE - Amuse Bouche Lipstick Skin tone: olive. Skin type: combo, oily leaning. This product is marketed as a comfortable, long wearing and pigmented lipstick. The lipstick formula is quite creamy and “full coverage”, with lots of color pigment. I got this lipstick as a sample from Sephora. I was intrigued because I liked the ingredients included in the lipstick and I liked the ethics of the company itself. The lipstick is v beautiful with such a wonderfully comfortable and pigmented formula. I know that I keep repeating adjectives but that’s the only true way to describe this lipstick. I am giving this lipstick 4 stars because this is a lipstick that you def have to worry about in terms of getting everywhere because the lipstick is creamy, so I wouldn’t recommend getting this lip in a dark color. Also, the lipstick itself is quite expensive but doesn’t perform any better then colourpop’s lux lippies. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend this lipstick because it’s not worth the price. It just not special enough to spend more than $10 on.

My favorite blush!!!
Skintone: olive (that’s why it’s difficult to swatch this product) MILANI - Baked Blush This is my fav blush at the moment; especially since we are moving into spring. The product is marketed as being pigmented and buildable. The product’s texture is silky and smooth; the product blends easily into the skin. I bought this blush because it was highly recommend online and was in my price range. I was looking for a blush that wasn’t matte because I already owned a matte blush. Along came this blush, in the shade “luminoso”. I immediately fell in love with the formula. The blush has a sheen to it but in a sophisticated way. The product is pigmented and yet very buildable. I think it’s a great blush formula for beginners who are dipping their toe in blush. There is a whole range of shades of this blush so everyone can find a shade that they enjoy. I would highly recommend this blush to anyone due to its affordability, accessibility, and performance. This product is def “worth it” 💕💕💕💕
Overhyped product that flopped
Skin tone: olive. Skin type: combo, oily leaning pixi - Liquid Fairy Lights This product is a liquid eyeshadow that is marketed to be pigmented, glittery and long wearing. The product itself is thin in terms of consistency and dries down slowly on the lid. As you can see from my swatch, it doesn’t have the most even application of glitter. I bought this product because I saw that is was being really hyped up online and I was excited about it. So I picked up this product from Target for $15. This product is not worth $15!!!!! It is patchy and doesn’t layer well on the eye and is not particularly long wearing at all. I have lots of different liquid shadows FOR MUCH CHEAPER that perform waaaaay better and are way more pigmented. Therefore, this product is a flop and I would never recommend it to anybody. I would recommend instead the Milani liquid shadows, the flower beauty liquid shadows or the colourpop liquid shadows.

This drugstore product knocked my socks off
Skin type: combo, oily leaning ALMAY - Velvet Foil Cream Shadow Okay. You guys. Are you ready to be blown away? I don’t think you are. THIS DRUG STORE CREAM EYESHADOW IS SO GOOOOOOOOD! The almay velvet foil cream shadow is a hypoallergenic liquid eye show that dries down to a metallic sheen. The product itself is thick in a way that is similar to an eyeshadow primer that comes out of a tube. and blends out to a pigmented wash of color on the lids. I bought this product because of a positive review of it by Tati Westbrook on YouTube. So I rolled down to CVS and picked up this shade, Ruby glam. I was blown away by its performance on first use. This eyeshadow is soooooooo beautiful and long wearing. A little bit of the product goes a long way and when it dries down, it doesn’t crack or crumble. It’s an amazing amazing amazing eyeshadow and I don’t understand why more people aren’t talking about it. AND ITS ONLY $8! Wow. I would def recommend this to anyone who is looking for a versatile cream shadow. It comes in so many shades and can even be used as an eyeliner if you whip out an eyeliner brush. I def would say this product is worth it; it’s accessible, affordable, long wearing, pigmented, beautiful.... I could go on forever. Enjoy

My favorite makeup tool.
Skin type: combo, oily leaning REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge Set This is my favorite makeup tool, the real technique miracle sponge. This sponge is said to function as a makeup applicator and can be used for liquids and for powders. To use such sponge, wet in advance to make the sponge grow and to allow it to soften. The sponge expands really nicely and is quite soft, softer then any other drug store beauty sponge. I decided to buy this sponge a couple of years ago because I had seen on YouTube that it was a dupe for the beauty blender. Previously, I had been using the eco tools beauty sponge and was not completely satisfied with it. Once I started purchasing the RT sponge, I have never wanted to try anything else. This sponge performs so well and does everything I need it to do while still being so affordable. I love that I can buy multiple of these sponges guilt free because of the price and therefore, have flawless makeup all year long. This sponge makes your base look a lot more skin like and doesn’t absorb too much product along the way. I recommend this sponge constantly to people and would continue to recommend it because it’s so affordable and yet performs like a dream. This product is totally worth it, due to its performance, functionality, price and accessibility! Enjoy 💕💕💕💕💕💕

A foundation for dry + combination skin!
📌My skin type: Dry/ Combination 📌Product information: YSL All-in-One glow foundation 📌Product texture: gel like cream 📌My Experience: It is the most glowy looking foundation I have come across. People with oily skin do not even bother to try. People with combination skin can give it a try but it may not work if did not set with powder. It can be glowing to the point you look wet or oily. Personally I love such glow and I enjoy this foundation to the most. I used a matte coverage concealer with it always as it kinda reduces the dewiness on the skin in a way. Since it is dewy it does not last all night long but marks the 8 hour mark pretty well. I really love this foundation and can count on it forever. 📌Like/ Dislike: LOVE 📌Would I recommend it? YES 📌Rating of the product: 5/5

IT’S SO FLUFFY!!
Name that movie 😋 bliss - Mighty Marshmallow Mask I have sensitive/combo skin and I really enjoyed this mask!! I had never tried bliss but one day I was shopping in target (as one does) and I stumbled upon the mini skincare section. I figured it was the perfect opportunity to start trying bliss!! I’m so glad I bought it and I will definitely buy the bigger version. This mask is fluffy, feels good on my skin, and didn’t make me react any certain way. The only reason I gave it 4/5 instead of the full 5 is because I never really noticed a huge difference after using it, but I’m going to chalk that up to not being able to use it a lot! Honestly, I love the feeling of it on my face so much that I don’t even care if I see benefits. I just want to feel like I’m doing something. A must buy!

Bring back the bear
Happy Sunday! ☀️ It’s a sunny day here in New York which makes me feel extra happy (but I can’t wait for 5 o’clock so I can leave work ya knooo) • • @mommys_beauty_reviews was the SWEETEST human ever because she saw my IG story about how I wanted this sold out babe and sent it over to me 😭🐻 I’ve been using this once a week after I use the @briogeo Charcoal Scalp Cleanser and the results have blown me away! • • I haven’t tried their OG Deep Condition Mask yet, but apparently it’s the same formula except this is infused with organic, unpasteurized honey for intense moisture. It’s amazing especially if you’re like me and have dry and long damaged hair (I mean i haven’t had my hair cut in a year now so😅) • • Honey is a known emollient and humectant that works amazing as a hair conditioner/ deep conditioning mask. There is also rosehip oil which is a rich fatty acid to help control frizz and split ends as well as help with free radicals damage. Almond oil is a nourishing oil that enhances the shine and luster of dry or weak hair. This oil also has fatty acids which help to strengthen the hair. Vitamin B-5 is also infused in this formula which helps as a moisturizer, humectant, and emollient. • • I do hope they bring this back one day because I will totally be purchasing again!

Chemical exfoliants magic for the pores
The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is marketed as a 10 minute exfoliating facial. It contains 30% AHA AND 2% bha, the AHA is meant to exfoliate the skins topmost surface for a brighter and more even appearance while the bha works underground to clear pore congestion! With continued use it’s meant to minimize pores, and improve skins texture. It is a very deep red so it can look scary, and the application process is messy for sure but to me it’s worth it! I have had this baby for 6 months now and love it. Truthfully it brings on a whole new level of chemical exfoliation that my skin just needs every once in a while. I have noticed visible imporovements with my pores, and especially any left over hyperpigmentation. Because this product is such a strong chemical exfoliant you really have to work up to it and be extremely careful when using. I found that my skin is sooo sensitive after using it that I normally slap on a hydrating serum and my summer fridays jet lag mask and call it a day. The next day it’s sooo important to wear and reapply spf continuously. Because of the improvements I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has experience with chemical exfoliants and is looking for a next level product that’s not too expensive but works amazingly. For $7.20 and the length it lasts I would give this product a 5/5. If you get this please please listen to your skins needs and moisturize/protect. Let your skin breathe for a few days after before applying any acids!

Favorite AHA BHA Mask
A little unhappy that it took me this long to try The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution . I scared myself prior to trying this due to all the reviews I have read/watched. Most have said that the burning sensation was horrid or causes chemical burns. So I was worried since my skin is sensitive and just about anything can flare up my rosacea. I was very surprised when the ‘burning sensation’ was actually just a light tingle. So all is good with this and I can’t wait to use it again. ✨ ⠀⠀ Smooth and radiant skin was achieved after one thin application. Skin did not feel dry/tight after use but it did in the morning. I followed up with my usual routine that I have found to be rather hydrating but I clearly have to up my hydration-game after using this. Congestion that I have been working so hard to clear (physical exfoliants, AHA masks, low percentage AHA toners) for almost a month just did not do the trick but this did—kinda. I still have small bumps near my jawline but they have definitely decreased in size! Update: with consistent usage, the small bumps are gone! ⠀⠀ I have tried 2-3 products from @deciem prior to this and have had mediocre results. This product (along with another one I have been testing) has made me look into other products of theirs to try. So if you have any favorites, please let me know! The Ordinary - saviour of my acne
I am a huge fan of the ordinary. I've used many of their products, from serum to primer to this facial peel. I bought this last month and have been using it since then. I have combo oily skin with a severe acne problem.😢 That's why I bought this product. It claims that this is for normal, combo and oily skin type, and focuses on blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles, and dullness and uneven texture. I bought this from Sephora and it only cost me $7.2! Most amazingly, it did help improve my skin in terms of acne! What a steal! I usually use it at night, apply it on my cleaned, dry face, and rinse it after 10 minutes. It doesn't burn at all. I don't know if it is suitable for sensitive skin, but I don't feel my skin irritated at all. I felt my skin glowing instantly and my acne did fade a bit after only one use. So now I use it all the time when I find even only one small pimple on my face. It works sooooo well that usually my pimple just disappears next morning. It's exactly that amazing! 💕 Highly recommend this to anyone who has the same concern. But be cautious if you've got sensitive or dry skin.
