jxyne.mxriiieMy mom has *extremely* sensitive skin and It Cosmetics is the only makeup she can wear. Granted, everyone’s skin is differently. I’d recommend trying to get a sample of it before committing to a full purchase.

This Contour Wand is Impossible to Beat
My face has a super round shape and because of that contouring is my best friend. It really helps give me a more 3D chiseled look for more depth and dimension. I remember when I first tried out contouring I hit the sephora stores to try out some looks. There are contour sticks, powder or in this case wands. Bippity Boppity Boo sisters.
My target areas of application is my hairline and forehead area. This is to make my forehead not look so much like a fivehead. I also apply under my cheekbone and down to give me a lengthier face. I put on under my jawline to create darker shadows to make my face look slimmer. I never miss to put it on the sides of my nose and face for more slender features.
The $38 contour wand comes in two shades only:
light to medium
medium to dark
Before the review here are some contouring tips:
1. Choose the right shades!
2. Blend and blend well for natural finish
3. Don’t pile on too thick to prevent cake 🎂
4. Customize the contour for your face shape.
The Contour Wand from Charlotte Tilbury is my hero. Contour sticks can seem just as easy as putting on but I was put off because I don’t feel certain that it will stay in place. Sometimes, I’m lazy to wear a primer and the Charlotte Tilbury - Hollywood Contour Wand makes it easy enough for my everyday make up looks.
The applicator is a twist off style. Squeeze to see the lightweight and very blendable contour liquid. One little squeeze is enough for me and I dab lightly in all the areas I want to contour. At first glance, I thought the color was too dark on me but once blended, it’s the perfect shade to give my face definition and cheekbones. Use with a damp beauty blender and a brush to finish, it looks natural and stays on all day.

My Foundation combo
L’Oréal - True Match Lumi Foundationproducts[FiveStars] I love this foundation so much. I’d say it’s a light to medium coverage, I only use two pumps on my face and neck area ! I like to apply it with a wet beauty sponge to give a very dewy and glowy look! It’s super inexpensive and it finishes the face off nicely!
Benefit - High Beam[products]#[FiveStars]
To help emphasize a nice dewy face I like to apply a light coat of this on my face before I put my foundation on or mixing it in with the foundation works well too! I have not used this product with other foundations though but I can say it worked well with the Lumi Foundation!
Please let me know what you think of the combination if you try it!
