Taking care of your skin is way more important than covering it up
This product is the definition of “meh” 😳
I got this because my cheeks were really dry in the winter and I really wanted to get a moisturizing mask for them. Texture/consistency: It was thin and watery it had a cooling effect especially when in a fridge for a bit. Felt nice on my skin but on my really dry spots it kinda stung a bit. Results: It had the basic criteria of a moisturizer but was very overpriced for what it was(20$). It helped my skin but it definitely didn’t fix my skin, I got better results with my CeraVe moisturizer. Wouldn’t recommend 😒
THE BODY SHOP-Aloe Soothing Rescue Cream Mask
Cera Ve foaming cleanser! 🧼✨
Formula: 🤔the consistency was a thick gel which I wasn’t expecting, when I think of foaming cleansers I think of light and airy. I didn’t expect so much to come out when I pumped the handle and I think that was too much for one cleanse. Results: ✨My skin doesn’t feel tight after I use it, which is a pet peeve of mine. I feel very refreshed, clean and relaxed after I use this product. My skin after using this feels smooth, and less oily! 🤨On the other hand washing it off was a little hard. It wouldn’t come off there would always be a little more on my chin, my forehead, my ear even. So it takes a good minute to get everything off. Overall this product is great! there isn’t any dryness or discomfort after using and I will be using this product in my skincare routine! Happy skincare everyone! 🧼😘

It says it’s for normal to dry skin but that’s definitely not the case it’s thin and watery, perfect for normal to oily skin. CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin If you are looking for a moisturizer for your dry skin the moisturizing CREAM is for you! That one word can change a lot about the product! I used to have eczema and the moisturizing cream really helped it go away! The cream has more of a thick consistency great for dry skin!CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Overall: This product is amazing and keeps my moisture barrier nice and healthy but do NOT listen to the packaging it’s not enough for dry skin but it’s great for all the oily people out there!
CeraVe-Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin
My favourite deodorants! 🧼🧖♀️
Both of these brands are amazing and by far my favourite! The first pictures are of my favourite deo scents out of the ones I have. -blackberry and green tea -blackraspberry and vanilla -coconut and vanilla Native deo consistency is smooth and light. It stays around for a good 1 and a half days. Sugar and spice has a creamy consistency and leaves white streaks on the pits but you can just wipe those off. It stays for a good 48 hours. Both are cruelty, gluten and GMO free they are also vegan.

Help my hair!
So my whole life I have always had long and supposedly straight hair because I had always had it done up and I had not had it down for 24 hours in YEARS so I was taking care of my hair as if it was straight and as you can see it is NOT STRAIGHT you could even call it curly. I had just found out last year... lol 😂 that I had curly hair 👩🦱 and I’m still new to this curly hair thing so if there are any tips or products you know of please recommend! My “hair routine” rn looks like - Use normal shampoo and conditioner 🧴 - Once a week leave in Marc Anthony hair mask in for 10 minutes then rinse out. - Get out of shower and scrunch water out of hair with t-shirt to reduce frizz - Scrunch in Marc Anthony curl enhancing lotion and styling foam. Also can someone tell me my hair type? Please educate me! 😘 MARC ANTHONY TRUE PROFESSIONAL - Strictly Curls Curl Enhancing Styling Foam MARC ANTHONY TRUE PROFESSIONAL - Curl Defining Lotion MARC ANTHONY TRUE PROFESSIONAL - Damage Repair Mask

The Ordinary or The Inkey List?
The answer is...BOTH! Finding skincare brands that are not only affordable but effective as well feels SO good! The Ordinary and The Inkey list really live up to their hype. I’ve tried a variety of products from both brands and I have to say I was happy with most of the products. The Ordinary: I’ve been using products from this brand for over a year and I’m so happy with my results! I absolutely love that their products come in glass packaging and that they’re mostly gentle enough for any skin type. I love the droppers that the bottles come with, they make it so convenient for you to apply. The prices are unbelievably reasonable to the point where I got suspicious of trying a product that cost so little... (boy was I wrong!) 10/10 brand for me👏🏼 The Inkey List: I’ve been using products from this brand for about 6 months now and I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I’m loving their products! The prices are very comparable to The Ordinarys and all the products I’ve tried, I’ve loved! The only issue I have with this brand is that their packaging is thick plastic. I really hope they make the switch to glass packaging soon! 9/10 brand for me👏🏼 ❤️What is your favorite affordable brand?
Easy AM-PM Routine for you 🧴⭐️🔑
☀️ AM ☀️ 1️⃣ Cleanser : 🔑Start your hydrating skin-care routine off right with this any Face wash. It’s a non-foaming, gentle cleanser packed with ingredients like glycerin and orange oil. It’s a great option for anyone with dry and sensitive skin. 2️⃣Toner : 🔑 You should use your toner only and only after you have thoroughly cleansed your skin. Take 2-3 drops of a toner on a cotton pad and wipe it on your face. Make sure that the cotton pad does not absorb too much of the liquid and is able to transfer it to your skin. 3️⃣Antioxident Serum : 🔑 Using an antioxidant serum every morning can protect your skin from the environmental attack and slow down the process of aging. You should slather on a few drops of a good antioxidant serum right after cleaning your face and before applying moisturizer and sunscreen. 4️⃣ Eye Balm /Cream : 🔑 Use only a small amount. "When you yawn, it will push it up by the tears and when you rub your eyes it will press it in by your fingers. Make sure you leave a clear area around the eyes when applying cream and only apply to the bone area."THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream 5️⃣ Acne treatment: 🔑 it’s up to you that you want to use acne treatment at morning or no but if you have bad acne problem you can use acne cream or gel for your cure. 6️⃣ Moisturizer: 🔑There is no such thing as skin that is too hydrated, and your sunscreen should not be the stand-in for moisturizer. These two products serve vastly different purposes and are not interchangeable, no matter how moisturizing your sunscreen claims to be. 7️⃣ sunscreen: 🔑 Daily sun protection is as important as drinking water and paying your parking tickets on time, so there are zero excuses for not doing it. Use after moisture your face . 8️⃣ Makeup : 🔑 if your like makeup by profession you can do makeup after your skincare routine but I just prefer myself without makeup .HUDA BEAUTY - The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette 🌙PM🌓 1️⃣: Makeup remover : Apply an oil-based makeup remover to dry skin and massage gently until the product melts into a liquid form.GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover 2️⃣Cleanser : 🔑 No matter how dry your skin, gentle cleansing at night is essential. Makeup, sunscreen, bacteria, dead skin cells, dirt, and oil build up on your face during the day. They can work their way into your pores, causing inflammation. Wash gently without scrubbing to avoid irritating your skin. acne.org - Acne.org Cleanser YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Cleanser Refill 3️⃣:Toner 🔑 Place toner onto a cotton ball or the tips of your fingers and massage into your face, neck and décolletage in circular motion. Massage into your face, neck and décolletage. ESTĒE LAUDER - The Night Is Yours Repair Serum + Eye Creme 5️⃣Acne treatment:🔑 use your favorite cream or gel for your acne treatment . #Rugby - Acne medication 5[products]#[FourStars] 6️⃣Moisture / Night cream : 🔑 Put a dot of product on your forehead, nose, chin and each cheek . Once the dots are on, simply massage your night cream into your skin in an upward and outwards motion. Once all of the product has been massaged into your skin. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration 7️⃣ Lip mask : 🔑 Most lip masks recommend exfoliating your lips first, especially if your lips are a bit shaggy with dry skin. You can use a lip scrub, or you can simply rub a wet washcloth over them to help remove dead skin. Dry your lips. Before applying the lip mask, your lips need to be dry.LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask
👣👣My journey of getting rid of “chicken skin aka Keratosis Pilaris”👣👣 The journey was a slow one, but worth the patience ✌🏻 ❗️Keratosis Pilaris is a common skin condition that is completely harmless but can be difficult to keep under control. Sometimes referred to as 'chicken skin', it presents itself as dry, rough patches of bumps on skin, which can appear on your upper thighs, back of your arms and even on your face. If you struggle with this chicken skin on arms, legs or your face, you're not alone. Approximately 40% of adults and 80% of adolescents have these Keratosis Pilaris bumps somewhere on their bodies❗️ ⁉️What product you need⁉️ For 🛁 baking soda Soap free body wash For moisturizer 💦 Aveeno/ Darmaveena body lotion Extra virgin coconut oil glycerin I have always had this skin issues- upper arm, back, upper thighs” since I was a kid.😔 I knew you can’t get rid of these!! And this is a stubborn one!! However, I read somewhere -sodium bio carbonate aka baking soda helps reducing keratosis pilaris. Honestly first i was like- Yaa whatever.. then I thought 💭 what’s wrong with give it a go. So i have started using baking soda in my shower with a scrubber with little amount of body wash (one soap free- I prefer shea butter or coca butter) gave a good scrub all of my body, take a warm bath afterwards. Bare in mind you won’t get foamy bath but a good scrub doesn’t need it to be foamy. Be generous when taken baking soda. For one bath I would say 3 tablespoons🥄 🧽One of best tips for getting rid of Keratosis Pilaris is to body brush/ scrub . Used daily Body Brush works as a Keratosis Pilaris treatment, helping to smooth bumps by stimulating circulation and the lymphatic system and working to brush away dead skin cells and exfoliate skin. Cut on a smooth angle, the bristles on this brush are specially designed not to scratch skin. Brush affected areas each morning before showering, moving upward towards the heart.🛀🏼 Please note, after wash you need very good moisturizer🧴 and coconut oil🥥 is MANDATORY ❗️ I mix them both in a containers with Glycerin 💧 Glycerin helps locking the moisturizer and can draw moisture from the air around us and help keep that moisture in skin.💦 Coconut oil is also a fantastic treatment for Keratosis Pilaris as it contains Lauric Acid which can help to break up Keratin, and avoid build up which can reduce the appearance of bumps on the back of the arms and body. It is also rich in both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to help reduce redness.🌟 It took me fair bit of time to see the final results💫- give or take 4-8 months and you will notice how dramatically your skin changes. Changes will start to notice in a month. The spots will disappear which is amazing 🤩 FYI- stop scratching them at the first place, that never helps I promise, contrary makes it worse!!👎 Best of luck❤️ Aveeno - Moisturizing Creamy Oil Sweet Almond NUBIAN HERITAGE - Raw Shea Butter Body Wash Age-Defying and Protecting AURA CACIA - Organic Vegetable Glycerin

Here are the 'Only Ingredients you need...’ ❤️
If you have less skin concerns or you have a decently normal skin type or you're not having any skin conditions or problems like Acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermititis etc. and you're looking for an effective skincare routine, these are the only Ingredients you can have!! Think about your skin, nobody has a flawless, spotless skin and it shouldn't be that way either! Our skin has texture like everything else in the world and if you look at your pores and don't want to feel your skin like 'Skin', know that it's always going to have some texture. So, people with 'Normal' skin types (although Normal is a tricky word 😉 but we'll still use it for better understanding) have generally less skin concerns to target or even if they have some; those don't require a lot of Active treatments. These skin types can get away with using little to no Actives in their routine and still have pretty good looking skin. But, this post is about the people who have fairly less-problematic skin yet are willing to incorporate some good Ingredients in their skincare routine!! I have used so many Ingredients over the past few years that I feel like some Ingredients and compounds/combination of Ingredients is absolutely supplementary in our routine. I came up with 'Essentials for an effective skincare routine' list ❤️ This list of ingredients is based on my own experiences as well as some research I have been doing from past few months. Think about these Ingredients as your 'best friends' in skincare. If any other ingredient irritates you or your skin just wants to change for good, these will be the Besties you will run to ;) I have seen most of the people being compatible with these Ingredients and they get some amazing results with these! 🌿So, Here are the 'Only Ingredients you need' ❤️ ✨AHAs (Glycolic acid or Lactic acid in particular) - Brightens skin - Chemical exfoliants - Increases cell turnover - Reduces Hyperpigmentation/dark spots and Sun damage - Helps bring back the suppleness and bounce of the skin - Gives skin a glow. - Reduces textural irregularities The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution ✨ Niacinamide (Star of the ingredient world) - Regulates sebum/oil production - Reduces the look of pores (great for people with large pores and oily skin type) - Brightens and lightens the Hyperpigmentation/dark spots and sun damage - Evens out complexion/skin tone - works Amazing with AHAs, BHA, Retinol, Vitamin C and most of the skincare ingredients* - Helps skin tolerate other Actives better - Helps with skin texture NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% ✨ Azelaic acid - Works well with almost all ingredients - works similar to Niacinamide - brightens skin - Reduces Hyperpigmentation and dull skin - Brings glow - Doesn't irritate, sting or burn - Mildly exfoliates - Evens out skin tone NATURIUM - Azelaic Topical Acid 10% ✨ Alpha Arbutin (This is optional but doesn't hurt to have it in routine) - Brightens skin, dark spots and uneven skin tone - Helps with sun damage and melasma - Powerful Anti-oxidant, helps skin by protecting from free radicals and environmental stressors. NATURIUM - Alpha Arbutin Essence 1% ✨ Vitamin C ( L- Ascorbic acid) - Helps increase elasticity of skin, which helps in giving suppleness and bounce - Brightens dark spots - Increases collagen production - Helps with uneven skin tone - Protects skin cells from damaging free radicals caused by UV exposure (acts as UV shield), which makes it 'Sunscreen's best friend) - Mainly targets Uneven skin tone, rough texture, fine lines, acne scars, general dullness. BYROE - Tomato Serum ✨ Any Moisturizer ( Choose the one that suits your skin type, the one you like to use) GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer ✨ Sunscreen (This infact is the first thing you need and should use) 😊❤️ Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Let me know if you have any questions regarding any of these!! DIFFERENT TYPES OF ACNE AND THEIR FIXES
Whiteheads Quick, think of a pimple. Chances are it looks like a whitehead. These pimples sound just like what they’re called – the result of pores becoming clogged with dead skin cells, oil, sebum or bacteria. best solution - Pimple Patches help to drain whiteheads and protect skin from outer bacteria. For best results, leave patches on until all fluid is drained. Blackheads Blackheads are much like whiteheads, except the clogged pore doesn’t close up and makes the gunk inside oxidise and turn a darker colour. best solution - AHAs, BHAs and clay masks, which can help to clear out congestion in the skin. Pustules Pustules are pretty much how they sound – a pocket of skin full of pus. You can get pustules when you’ve got an infection and your body is pumping out more white blood cells. A consequence of this is a mix of liquid from the infection and dead white blood cells. This is pus, and when it builds up under your skin, it can cause pustules. Be careful when treating pustules – they involve infections. best solution - Medicated patches or products designed to dry out and heal the pustule. If the pustule pops though, it’s worth keeping it covered with a pimple patch to protect it while it heals. Cysts Ugh, cystic acne! These pimples lie deep within your skin and can be super painful. Often caused by hormones, cystic acne occurs when pores become blocked and infected. best solution - If you can, seek the advice of a doctor or dermatologist because cystic acne is unlikely to fully heal without medical help. Cortisol injections can be relieving, and often products like Vitamin A and/or retinoids can help. If using Vitamin A/retinoid, your skin may dry out easily, so be sure to keep your skin moisturised and nourished. Nodules Nodules feel a lot like cysts, except without the pus and infection. Nodules will form a hard bump deep within the skin and feel painful (just like cysts). best solution - Seeking a doctor or dermatologist’s advice is the most effective way of getting rid of nodules because these rarely go away without treatment. Doctors will often prescribe antibiotics. In the meantime, keep the spot iced to help relieve inflammation.
Curly Girl Method! I've tried these so you don't need to try again!
I've tried several hair products for curly hair, and these are my favorite! Shampoos SheaMoisture - Argan Oil and Almond Milk Shampoo It smells like milk. I love that and the way this made my hair feel. Very smooth and non-greasy after washing. Conditioners SheaMoisture - Superfruit Complex 10 in 1 Renewal System Conditioner Some people don't like its scent, but I personally can accept it. The moisturizing effect is perfect. TRESemmé - Botanique Nourish + Replenish With Coconut Milk & Aloe Vera Conditioner It's affordable and it's so large that you can use it for a long time. Apply it and wait 5-8 minutes, then your hair will be like seaweed. Kinky-Curly - Knot Today, Natural Leave In / Detangler It smells like coconut. I use it as a moisturizer. I have now purchased 3 bottles of this. My hair cannot get enough. It is pricey, but so worth it. It is the best leave in conditioner I have ever tried. The best part about it is it's sans silicones sulfates or waxes. If you're looking for a great detangler that doesn't leave your hair greasy, this is the one for you. Leave-in conditioners SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner It is a little greasy. I brush my hair with this leave in in during the shower and it keeps my hair silky and curls not frizzy Hair masks SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Masque I use it once every two weeks, staying for 15-20 minutes before washing off. After using it, it helps hydrate my hair. It’s very light and doesn’t dry with any residue! It leaves my curls feeling light weight! Curl defining gels DevaCurl - Light Defining Gel Soft Hold No-Crunch Styler I have medium length curly hair and I use about a quarter size for the initial scrunch from ends to root. I touch up around the entire head with another quarter size. Let dry and scrunch to release the cast from the gel. My hair and curls are so happy with this product. It is the holy grail for sure. SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie I use it to apply a little bit to the hair before setting. It makes your hair look a little oily.
