Updated skin progress!
Hi all :) If you’ve been following me, you know I started a brand new routine (all K-Beauty products) at the beginning of December after suffering a horrible reaction from my previous routine that included painful cystic breakouts, chemical burns, etc. as seen on the side of my cheek. That has stayed put since about mid November 😬 I am slowly but surely getting to the point where they are starting to fade. I still have days where that area gets inflamed, whether that’s from the friction of wearing my mask for a full day, sleeping on my side, or even enduring a recent cat scratch straight to the face and through my already painful acne. Anyways, it has been about a full month of this new routine, so I thought i’d write my thoughts on these products! My overall goal with my skin is to firstly, get rid of the acne scarring on the side of my cheek, but also to achieve “dewy” skin. I also have massive pores that have always been hard to reduce, but as I’ve learned recently, a lot of that is simply natural and I’m just going to have to learn to accept that 😌 ✨PRODUCT REVIEW✨ 1. Hanskin - Pore Cleansing Oil PHA Being my first Oil cleanser, I guess it’s hard to compare to any other product, however, I have fallen in LOVE with it! It’s perfect for my clogged pores and the way it melts into my skin feels so luxurious and prepares my skin so well for my foaming cleanser + the rest of my routine! *I use this in BOTH the AM and PM, but in the AM i only use it on my nose, where I am the most oily in the morning. 2. acwell - No 5.5 Ph Balancing Micro Cleansing Foam This is a super gentle cleanser that foams up so nice and quickly and always gets the remaining gunk off my face after the oil cleanser! My face never feels too dry or tight after, either! Which is a major win for me as all my psst cleansers have done so. *I use in both the AM and PM! 3. d’Alba Peptide No-Sebum Balancing Toner (not listed on Cherie) I always swear by a toner, although many disagree. But I feel if you have a toner set for a specific purpose, such as reducing sebum and unclogging pores, then there’s no harm in using one in moderation! I have seen an such amazing difference in my pores with this toner. Although I still have large pores that can’t be helped, this definitely aids in reducing them temporarily and unclogging! 4. - AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum This serum has been a lifesaver for helping with the dryness of my skin, as well as healing my dark spots. I used to get a new pimple maybe like every other day or so, but since using this product, I’ve not experienced a new breakout besides one pesky chin pimple from being on my period, which I’m used to 🙄 *Use 3 times a week only in the PM 5. On the Bright Side Moisturizer by Good Skin Days (not listed on Cherie) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the only product i will NOT be repurchasing. Although I haven’t experienced any negatives, it just doesn’t hydrate well:(

A routine that FINALLY works for me!
Since the beginning of quarantine, I’ve gotten WAY into skincare, maybe a little too much... I’ve definitely experienced ups and downs with my routine, low bank balances, and the overall stress of trying to balance the millions of options and recommendations given for serums, cleansers, toners, ETC. Through many trial and errors, I think I finally found my true routine, thanks to Sokoglam, a K-Beauty skincare company. They offer a free “skin concierge” session in real time with a skincare specialist, where you can ask about your skin concerns and receive great recommendations for products, and overall a personalized skincare routine that fits YOU! That all sounds cheesy and sponsored but I promise it’s not😂 That’s just how impressed I am with the company! For so long I just watched youtubers suggest products to me and I scrolled endlessly on Cherie looking for products that I thought would suit me. A biiiig brand I saw/and was recommended CONSTANTY was The Ordinary serums... Long story short, tried it, hated it. Plain and simple. The few serums I used from them caused nothing but turmoil for my skin that I’m still trying to fix including breakouts, CYSTIC acne, chemical burns, etc.. I am pretty sure there was just something my sensitive skin was allergic to in order for all of that to have happened, but still, simply just not for me. To be fair, if it weren’t for those products, I would have never gone out of my way to seek a new routine, sooooo? Thanks I guess lol. Anyways, here is my road to recovery! I have been documenting my skin’s journey and I can already see such dramatic effects in texture, hydration, reduction of oiliness AND the beginnings of healing for my more intense acne that left scars! I won’t go into detail on each product quiet yet, as it is still a new routine taking its course, however, I think the biggest component to the already huge changes has to definitely be the Hanskin - Pore Cleansing Oil PHA !!!! As a combo/oily skin type who rarely wears makeup, I NEVER would have thought I’d need this product because like... More oil??! But I was sooooo mislead!!! My pores have never been cleaner/smaller after using this, because after all, oil gets rid of oil! For so long I was always so frustrated with how bad of a job my water based cleansers were doing, never truly cleaning my horribly clogged pores! I guess I just forgot basic chemistry knowledge that water alone cannot get rid of oil! Plain and simple! I’m sure most people know that, but I guess my quarantine brain didn’t make that connection, but also when it comes to skincare, I guess I never truly thought of those things in the past! I will keep updating my journey as I go, but enjoy for now!

Tea Tree Water Collection #CherieParter 🍃
Hey y’all! So I love Korean skin care and their products are usually hits for me! Within the last 4weeks I’ve been using Some by Mi Tea Tree water products. And I have thoughts! To start I have sensitive combo skin and some of the problems I’ve been facing as of late are random breakouts. I’ve been moving and been under a lot of stress so I’ve been looking for some products to help combat. I first heard about Some by Mi on Soko Glam. Soko Glam is my fav skin care plug lol! They have such a wide variety of products. So first we have the SOME BY MI - AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner This product has the same consistency as most toners. It’s pretty watery. It also smells amazing! It’s like a mix of tea tree and peppermint but it’s very light and not overpowering at all. Ingredients list 🍃AHA 🍃BHA 🍃PHA These three chemical exfoliants help with smoothing out skin. These are the exfoliants I usually look for when going for a multi use toner. 🍃Tea Tree Water: Tea tree water is great for promoting clear skin by keeping acne at bay and also helps soothe already inflamed skin. 🍃Niacinamide:Targets wrinkle and dull skin 🍃Papaya Extracts 🍃Witch Hazel Extracts Both Extracts keep skin smooth and healthy! This toner is marketed towards sensitive skin because of the pH balance. And I would agree. My skin does not feel bothered or hasn’t had any bad reactions. It definitely is nice and moisturizing and helped control my breakouts 10/10 would recommend Next we have SOME BY MI - AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum This serum is a watery consistency for it to be a serum. It’s very important to shake this serum as it does have oils in it and tends to separate. It has the same scent as the toner so that’s nice! Key Ingredient List: 🍃AHA/BHA/PHA :Gentle Exfoliants 🍃Centella 14.5%: Centella is so good for inflammation! It’s great that this serum had such a high concentration of it because it definitely aided with all of my random breakouts. 🍃Multi layer of plant based oils to lock in moisture (Olive Fruit, Moringa Seed, Grapefruit, Orange...) Using this in combination with the toner has really done a good job targeting the breakouts. I use this after toner and before moisturizer. 10/10 would recommend Overall this collection is great for sensitive skin who’s having trouble with breakouts and inflammation. The ingredients are good for your skin and help promote moisture, brightening and pore care. Have you ever tried anything with Tea Tree water? Let me know Below ! BESOS 😘

Hyram Approved✔️-The BEST Products for Oily Acne Skin💖
Almost all teens are puzzled by teen acne. It happens when an oily substance called sebum clogs pores.  There are a lot of factors that contribute to teen acne: Puberty, hormones, being athletic and outside, etc… Hyram has recommended some products to reduce the oiliness in the skin SERUM: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%($6): great ingredients of Niacinamide, super affordable, but always sold out>< BEAUTY BAY - Skinhit Soothing Serum ($6): better for oily skin than The Ordinary Niacinamide considering the weight, especially during the middle summer  íUNIK - Tea Tree Relief Serum($17): It is formulated with Centella Asiatica Extract, which helps to reduce the inflammation and sensitivity on your skin so much. Ps. It is so lightweight that good for both day and night use.  MOISTURIZER: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream($34): super lightweight, has blurring effect to the skin and won’t let you look greasy in super humidity. It contains Coconut Fruit Juice and Coconut Extract with NO coconut oil, which won’t clog the pores! íUNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream($7): lightweight with Niacinamide SOME BY MI - AHA. BHA. PHA 30 Days Miracle Cream($15):  very lightweight consistency but you could still get some exfoliation.  ROVECTIN - Lotus Water Cream($20): The first ingredient is Nelumbo Nucifera Extract, which is good for skin soothing and anti-aging. Besides, it is super lightweight and you can use it all summer.  SUNSCREEN: dear, klairs - Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++($25): super lightweight and could be quickly absorbed by skin, you will never feel greasy with it FIRST AID BEAUTY - Weightless Liquid Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30($32): leave the skin a matte finish, feel like a very light tint moisturizer. Fragrance free and great for sensitive skin. PURITO - Comfy Water Sun Block ($19): mineral sunscreen, EXTREMELY lightweight, feels like water on the skin tarte - Guard Mineral Powder Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30($24): Please go with another sunscreen in order to realize its full protection on skin. Instead of adding layers of textured sunscreen, the powder, which comes with a brush, will absorb all the excess oil on your skin Here is the link to Hyram's original video on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l330tzUoR_I Have anyone tried these products before? A pore minimizing toner!
A pore minimizing toner!
The Good Molecules Niacinimide Toner is an alcohol free toner that helps to reduce the appearance of large pores, brighten and even out the complexion. While using a blend of some amazing ingredients, like vitamin B3, naturally derived arbutin, and vitamin C, this toner does exactly as it claims! This is a toner; so it should be used directly after cleansing, and applied with a cotton round and gently swipe it on the face. The texture is just a bit thicker than water, but really just sinks into the skin like nothing, it doesn’t leave any sticky residue behind, and it doesn’t have any fragrance, which is great for my sensitive skin. This toner was gifted to me from the brand, before receiving this I never had any interest in using a toner, and often thought that they would dry out and irritate my skin. I am so happy that I gave this one a try, I have noticed my pores becoming less and less noticeable as I continue using this, which has been for about 3 months now, my skin is brighter but I am not sure if it is from this product alone as I do use other brightening products, as well. My skin hasn’t dried out from this, thanks to the alcohol free formula. At the price of $14, I would recommend this product to others, to anyone really looking to shrink their pore size and need a gentler toner alternative. The price, effort and the extra step is definitely worth it in my opinion. I am giving this product a 5/5, because I love that it has been shrinking my pores and not irritating my skin!

It's always fun testing out ne
It's always fun testing out new brands with intriguing ingredients, and even better when they turn out to be good. iunik Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum and the Rose Galactomyces Toner  The iUnik propolis serum is 70% Propolis, but unlike other propolis serums I've tried, this one doesn't feel sticky. Instead, it absorbs beautifully and layers well with other products. It's quite slippy and on the thinner side for a serum but it has enough richness that it really helps boost my moisture. One of my favorite propolis serums so far! The iUnik rose galactomyces toner smells wonderfully rosy, if you're a rose fan :). The first two ingredients are rose water and galactomyces ferment filtrate and the rest of the ingredients are excellent, with HA, adenosine, licorice root, among others. It's a slightly more watery toner which I love because I can layer it so easily, and you can definitely use it as a first essence if you want. These are both quite affordable on Unique4u.net and would make a great addition to your skincareroutine. They're both light yet very nicely hydrating and have clean ingredient lists!

I want to share with you toda
I want to share with you today my thought about iunik goodies 😊 I really like the philosophy of iUNIK as they are focusing on minimalistic skincare and simplifying skincare routine. Simple, clean design of the packagings and only effective ingredients, without unnecessary additions - isn't it nice? 💕 🌹 Rose Galactomyces Toner - I really enjoy using it as it has very pleasant rosy scent (which is not overpowering and very natural). It is rather watery but thanks to this it's perfect for layering and 7 skin method. It contains 70% of rose water and 10% of Galactomyces ferment filtrate. It leaves my skin hydrated and soft, it prepares my skin for the next steps in my routine. Overall I think it's a very good toner, especially for oily/combo skin as it's very light, yet hydrating enough. It's not something very outstanding and different from other toners but I find it worth trying, especially if you love rose water 😊 🌿 Tea Tree Relief Serum - This contains 67% of Tea tree leaf water and 19,5% of Centella asiatica leaf water (one of my fave ingredients 💚). The texture is rather watery and light and absorbs quickly - it leaves a bit of moisturising film but it's definitely not greasy. This serum feels very light and refreshing on the skin and makes it hydrated and calmed. I really love using this in the same routine with acids/exfoliators or in the morning after night with acids. It immediately soothes my skin, calms down redness and makes it feel so comfortable 💚 Overall for me it's amazing and I love how it works for my skin!

Kale-Lalu-yAHA Exfoliator
Kale-Lalu-yAHA Exfoliator
I purchased this a few months back and have been loving it since. The Kale-Lalu-yAHA exfoliating toner from Krave Beauty has been really perfect for my skin. This exfoliating toner works well for all skin types and I think it is good for my dry skin because it doesn’t cause excess dryness. The texture of this is a thin liquid that applies easily with a cotton pad. It is not thick or heavy, and I don’t feel it once it has been applied to my skin. Other than a mild tingle that fades after a few seconds, there have been no issues with this product. I feel like it really helps when my skin is looking tired and dull. The AHAs in this are what help exfoliate while the other ingredients (spinach, kale, vitamin b5, hyaluronic acid) work to nourish and hydrate the skin, which I think is what makes this seem so mild yet so effective. This retails for $25USD for 600ml. Compared to similar products, I find this to be very cost effective overall. I would reccomend it to anyone looking to exfoliate their skin gently, clear pores, and make their skin appear brighter. Also, Krave Beauty is committed to using environmentally friendly packaging, so this can be recycled after use. Downside is that they do not offer world wide shopping (last I checked) so this may not be available for everyone

I’ll be talking about the pyu
I’ll be talking about the pyunkangyul Moisture Set. Just to give you guys an idea about the brand, Pyunkang Yul is made by Korea’s Pyunkang Oriental Medicinal Clinic. They focus on safeguarding the skin by simplifying their ingredients list and eliminating unessential substances that are just there for texture or scent. - Pyungkang Yul Moisture Serum Pyungkang Yul Essence Toner Pyungkang Yul Oil Pyungkang Yul Moisture Cream - >Moisture Serum :This lotion-like serum has just the perfect combination of coptis japonica root extract and oilve oil to help your skin find it’s optimal balance of moisture for a healthy complexion. I use this in the morning when I don’t feel like putting anything too heavy for the day. >Essence Toner :A gel type toner that quickly absorbs into the skin. No water is present in the ingrediens list of this product so it’s full of all the goodness that your skin needs like 91% milk vecht root extract. It was love at first pat for me with this product, definitely my HG toner so far. >Oil :This lightweight oil provides antioxidant protection while keeping your skin radiant. Quick-absorbing as well so it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. You can also use this on parts of your body where it’s dry or for your hair. >Moisture Cream :A mighty effective daily moisturizer for all skin types, the creamy texture goes on with ease providing a soft and supple finish without feeling sticky.

COSRX - AHA/BHA Clarifying Tre
COSRX - AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner Claims to help with blackheads, smooth, balance and help with dull skin - Does all to a certain extent Texture - Water Scent - Mild fruity scent Parabens - No ——— I didn’t hop on the Cosrx trend until like 8 months ago or so. I didn’t believe in it for some reason even though everyone seemed to own at least 1-2 of their products, and they’ve been around for a long time and are not just “hype”. Something about the packagings, price point and overall brand. I’m picky I know but I didn’t have a great feeling. But I was wrong! I now own quite a few products from them and enjoy them a lot. Let me start with this one. This is a AHA/BHA toner thats supposed to help with texture and evening skin out, but since it has a spray I used it as a spray. It dries down slowly which is my biggest issue with this but it does clarify complexion and help with texture! It didn’t blow my mind away but I feel like it really helped to “maintain” my skin when I was happy with it. This won’t be your game changer but will maintain your current clear results. It’s pretty good price and actually worth the drying down time. I still used more powerful toners and acids now and then for better exfoliation and help with texture during the weeks but this was an almost constant every night for me. It doesn’t contain high acid percentage, at all, allegedly. Around 0.1% for each AHA and BHA. And honestly I would have wanted to know the percentage before purchase but on the other hand... I might not have bought it. And that’s a shame because it maintains my skin clear and nice! Having such low percentage makes me feel like it won’t clarify or do a thing except maybe soothe a little because of it’s willow bark and apple water. But more doesn’t always mean better guys!!! And it sounds stupid and obvious but I think it’s an usual thought for us consumers when picking what to buy. So, lesson learned... from a toner!
