It’s important to be on top of your skin daily, meaning Morning’s and Night’s. I have a job, and it requires me to work at night, but I am still able to keep my routine on track. I highly recommend this picture as reference so that you don’t overdo it with products on your face, this could lead to more breakouts and overall damage to your face. You can always eyeball how much product you put on, but if you need a reference - this is it, sis! **NOT IN THE ORDER YOU PUT THEM** Eye Cream:
Pea sized amount
Split between both eyes
Serum:
Pea sized amount
Cleanser:
Nickel-sized amount
Sunscreen:
Quarter sized amount for both neck and face
Exfoliant:
Dime or Nickel sized amount
Moisturizer:
Quarter sized amount for both neck and face
I hope this reference works for my beginners and people that need a reminder on how much product to apply✨✨

How my skin broke out so bad
How my skin broke out so bad
This literally cant be real. My skin used to be so perfect, glowy, and clear!! I really took it for granted by doing the following: -I would wear loads of makeup and barely wash it off😳😳😳😳 - I then switched off with different products without patch testing, and trying one product at a time - I also would get sweaty and then not wash that sweat off - I would pick and touch my face - And overall use bad products and not have a solid routine. Learn from my mistakes!!!!

Skincare Hygiene Rules You Should Be Following
Skincare Hygiene Rules You Should Be Following
1. Wash your hands!!! Our hands are exposed to a variety of germs and pollutants everyday everywhere that you don’t want on your face. If you feel the need to touch you face wash your hands first. 2. Store your beauty products on a dark and or a cold place Humidity can trigger bacteria and fungal growth. Direct sunlight exposure may degrade active ingredients as alter the formula. 3. Clean your beauty area once a week Product residue and humidity can enhance microbial proliferation. Prepare a bleach solution 1:50 in water to disinfect the area. 4. Be aware of the expire date Cosmetic products have a limited lifetime. You should never use a product once its past the expire date. HOPE THATS HELPFUL!😁 Credit: @skincarelabo

SKINCARE FORMULA SIZES

Personally I use wayyy to much cleanser and moisturizer until I found this on Huda Beauty's blog a while back. Reason why I run out of products so quickly and this leads to me breaking the bank. Try using this while following the step by step method post on how to apply your skincare routine both am and pm. (my posts)

Is order of skincare products important?
Is order of skincare products important?
Does it matter what order I apply my skincare products in? I get asked this question a lot! To keep it as simple as possible, this is always my answer: When applying your products you want to think “thinnest to thickest”. & almost like you’re layering a cake! This one describes a pretty minimal skincare routine. You can of course add in your spot treatments, essences, eye creams etc. if you use them - but this is just a basic everyday skincare product layering technique to follow 🤍 Cleanser always comes first. If you’re double cleansing - oil cleanser first and then your daily cleanser, followed by toner (you can tone in between products too.. but that’s another topic), next would be serums - thinner serums first and then thicker ones - (different serums for AM & PM), then moisturizer and then any face oils you use to seal everything in place! My go to oil is Jojoba You would stop at step 5 for your PM routine, but if it is your AM routine - finish off with a layer of SPF so all your hard skincare work actually pays off & definitely use at least SPF 30 or 50😅🙅🏻‍♀️☀️ #skincare #products #applicationorder #CherieCreator

Tips for Beginner Skincare Bloggers🌼
Tips for Beginner Skincare Bloggers🌼
So you’ve started blogging about skincare or want to! I’ve been doing it for about 2 years now and absolutely love it but there are definitely things I wish I knew when starting: ☀️ 1. Lighting is key Whether you have a ring light, house lamp or just rely on certain hours of the day for the sun, all are possible. What is crucial is making sure you have enough light to begin with in the picture. This makes a HUGE difference in my shots, especially where my goal is bright and colorful. ☀️ 2. Don’t be afraid of editing apps I use Meitu to brighten pictures, adjust coloring and even adding cool backdrops. There are lots of apps out there that can help you achieve what you want and you don’t need anything expensive or fancy to get the right effect. Download and play around with a few. Eventually you will figure out what look you’re going for and just how to get it on that app. ☀️ 3. Try to make a cohesive look Having your feed look cohesive is more appealing to a new viewer. This can be achieved through editing apps and filters but also just generally what colors you include in your pictures. For example, for me, my goal is bright colors so I’ve lately been leaning on rainbow styles with bright backgrounds. Because of this, it’s really hard for be to photograph my products in black packaging. It darkens my feed a lot in a way I don’t like. If an item has been amazing though and I want to review it on my feed, I always make the background bright and colorful or group it with other items to balance everything out. ☀️ 4. Post regularly and include hashtags Regular posting is very helpful towards account growth and using hashtags that other bloggers follow makes you more accessible to the community. My favorite ones are #towerthursday , #igtopshelfie and #texturetuesday. I also like #friyayfaves. Some of these are connected to the days of the week and some are just general tags. The key is to switch it up. You can even save groupings of #’s in the Notes app on your phone so you’re using different ones regularly. Maybe having 3-5 groups of different hashtags. This helps expand your reach! ☀️ 5. PR is great but.. I don’t recommend getting into this just for PR. It’s honestly a lot of work and time and unless you’re in it for the long haul, it’s not worth it. Do it because you love it! I think I got my first PR around 1.5k followers and the opportunities have been increasing since. I recommend checking out other apps like Octoly where you get products in exchange for reviews but as you grow, you’ll quickly realize that the more PR, not the merrier. It makes it hard to keep a consistent skincare routine and can get overwhelming. Then you have a ton of things piling up. Sure, take a few at first when they come but remember that saying no can be good at times too. It’s also important to remember that as you grow, you can get paid for posts along with free product. Your time is worth this and free product! I hope that helps! 💕 #CheriePartner
