The best lip stain Iâve met so far is from Kiko Milano, the Italian brand with drugstore pricing.

I am crazy about try different kinds of lipsticks and lip stains. My favorite color is red. Recently I had a new finding. If youâre looking for a matte finish, REVLON - Ultra HD Matte Lip Color is a great one.
I bought the shade Love once on a whim when it was on sale at Walmart. I like the color and the longevity. This product is creamy, soft, pigmented gel formula, and dries to a nice matte finish. It doesn't dry out your lips and lasts a pretty long time.
This lip stain is perfect for daily use and it matches most makeup styles and outfits! It leaves a beautiful stain after a few applications, making your lips look naturally cherry colored, which actually suits my taste. And I know we don't "eat" lip stain but it has a nice flavor to it!
In addition, its plush-velvety applicator makes it easy to apply. The sharp tip allows you to outline your lips without a separate pencil.
It doesnât have that sticky feeling and it feels as though like you donât have any lip products on. So this is good if you want to habitually swipe it on.
This series is the perfect combination of bold color and a moisturizing, velvety matte finish, which contains range of colours allows for a good amount of variation. There must be one for you! One thing that I wanted to emphasize is that it is cheap enough, saving your makeup budget!
I highly recommend if you like matte finish and are a lipstick freak like me! I do plan on buying other colors.

I am in love withKIKO - Unlimited Double Touch, lasting long time, doesnât drying out lips and have a nice texture. I have been searching for a lip color that truly is transfer-proof to replace my beloved lippie. There are plenty of them them on the market however, of the numerous alternative formulas I have tried, they all break down when laying balm or gloss over them. I love a matte lip as much as the next gal, but I am a lip balm junkie and can't stand the dry nature of matte lipsticks.
I always like a soft nude color on my lip.#103 I explore is a really nice color on me. It's so light and comfortable yet so pigmented and long lasting. I love that you can get 2 looks with this product. Without the top coat its a very matte look and if you choose to add it you get a very pigmented glossy look.
The color/Step 1 formula is smooth, creamy and dries quickly without patchiness provided you have prepped your lips properly. It didn't dry out my lips and it didn't get them all chapped and wrinkled.The gloss/ Step 2 is flavorless and doesn't have any fragrance (as far as I can tell) and glides smoothly, isn't tacky and has a nice slippery feel. This formula could be worn for a more matte effect without the second step but feels shiny when pursing the lips.
I find the gloss moisturizing and the best part... NO TRANSFER! Also of note, the angled doe foot applicator is a dream to work with. Very easy to create crisp lines and achieve even coverage easily without having to layer the product. I have not yet tried any touchups yet to see how the product performs with a layer already in place but I can say that this formula does not peel or crumble at all on my lips.
Oily foods will break the formula down as can be expected with any liquid lip color but this wonder product has some serious staying power and fades pretty evenly with no drying effects. Nothing beats this lip color for me.
And It smells a little creamyďźand doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. After adding the transparent lip oil, it will get a little oily at first. It will dry out in about 1 or 2minutes, then it changes to just a faint smell. I will say that the color differs a-little from the picture and looks a bit brighter.
The price is great too! Even more so if you can take advantage of a sale. Simply put, this is a rare gem and I highly recommend it , this product has outperformed everything else I have tried be it low or high end..

This Loreal lip stain is the BEST lip stain I have ever used period!!!!! I have been using the same tube for months!!!! No need to even use a lipliner! It has a beautiful flat pointed brush for each precision application. I loved it so much I purchased a couple more - one for my purse and one for my work area. That way I am never without it. I have tried them all, believe me. Wearing lipstick is my vane habit. I am a mature woman, and as mentioned, tried them all. EVEN THE SUPER EXPENSIVE ONES AND NOTHING COMPARES!!! THIS IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT!!! If you are debating which one to select, do not think about it anymore!! BUY IT!!!
Apply it on your lips, and oh my God...it is everything it claimed in the advertisementďźSmooth and light as a feather.I like how the color stays on your lips all day.it goes on super smooth, stays wet for a while, once it dries it doesn't kiss off but after drinking water i was expecting it to still be on, came off with one meal didn't have any sign of it on my lips. I may have to reapply once during the day at work, but thatâs it. It definitely has a matte look once applied and dried. Please note if you want something that doesnât leave lip stains on coffee cups etc. this product isnât for you. If you donât mind it like me then I totally recommend you get this product. Main reason why I got this is because it doesnât have beeswax in the ingredients which I am sensitive to. Photos represent two different colors.

Recently, I saw a lot of posts about Lorealâs new lip stain on social media. Although I donât use drugstore lip products at all, I couldnât help but buy one of the lip stains. The last time I used a drugstore lip product was about six years ago, when I first started to do makeups. I bought a Maybelline lipstick as my very first lipstick. I had high expectations on the lipstick because of its fancy advertisements, however, the lip color couldnât last over two hours and the formula looked weird on my lips. After that, I tried some high-end lipsticks, from which I felt there was a big difference between high-end lipsticks and drugstore ones and high-end lipsticks were way better.

But this time, I would say social media made me do a good decision. I think this lip stain is a dupe for high-end lip stains like Armani. I am not saying it can completely replace Armaniâs lip stains, but it did a really good job at its price. First, letâs talk about its formula. The lip stain is very lightweight even itâs matte finish. When you just apply it on your lip, itâs watery and after several minutes, it dries out a little bit and turns into matte. After it become matte, I feel there is a very thin layer on my lip, thinner than Armaniâs and many other lip stains. And the lip stain is like stick on my lips, so it doesnât move when I drink or eat. I love the formula! It saves me a lot of trouble of re-applying lip stain after drinking water. And I love the super lightweight finish, itâs like I applied nothing on my lips. Plus, itâs super affordable!
A small con of the lip stain, it dries out my lips after several hours. It is a common problem for most matter lip products. But for Armaniâs lip stain, my lips still feel moisturized after I applied it for a whole day. As I said before, I donât think this Loreal lip stain works the same as Armaniâs, but it definitely worth the price!

My favorite drugstore lip stain is wet n wild-P225#Margarita, which I have bought for many times!! If you are the one who likes lip stains which are in tomato red, just buy it!
Wet n wild is a brand from U.S., you can usually get it in drugstore and itâs very cheap, only about ďź3 each. There are lots of colors in the same series, but P225 is the one I recommended most. The lip stain has a transparent outside look and you can easily see the color. Itâs easy to apply and color and when you color it, youâll find your lips shiny which is very proper in summer time and it can last for a long time. The texture is thick, at the same time you can remove it by tissue which is easy. Compared to other lip stains, it is not that easily stick to cup.
However, thereâs one thing that is not very goodââthe smell. As for me, I can get used to the smell since I know the perfect price. But if you are a person who cares about the smell of lip stains, do try it before you buy it.
Considering both color and price, Iâll definitely buy it as always. And these days I use it as cheap substitution of ARMANI beauty - Lip Maestro Liquid Matte Lipstick#405. And itâs clearly a lip stain that makes your skin look fair. Besides P225, there are some other colors you can have a try, P224#Pumpin pie is a color like cinnamon which is good for winter; P945B#Cedar later is a color like cameo which is very gentle and soft for light makeup; P978A #Devilâs Advocate is a color like mulberry and it fits nightclub makeup well. You can get several colors to cover your daily use!!!
