Battle of the Hydration Serums: Hyaluronic Acid

avatar
Skinsitive
Me: Combination Skin, Eczema, Hormonal Acne, Very Sensitive. I had dehydrated, super oily skin for the longest time. I started using a hydrating serum (Drunk Elephant B-Hydra) and by giving my skin the hydration it desperately needed, I saw my sebum production reduce drastically. Over the years, I’ve used different HA-packed serums and want to share my experience. In the photo, they’re organized from thickest (Drunk Elephant) to thinnest (NIOD), but I’ll be ranking them from least to most favourite. 5. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
is a fave of many budget ($6.80/30mL) routines. It is a goopy, odorless serum that’s not quite a liquid or a gel. It utilizes sodium hyaluronate and sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer as well as a couple other hydrating ingredients. Very basic. I used it twice a day. After applying, my skin felt hydrated- and tacky! It took a bit to dry down and made my moisturizer pill. But it did hydrate my skin nicely and didn’t irritate so it’s “okay”. I won’t purchase again. 4. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum
is a good budget ($7.99/30mL) HA serum. It is a thin liquid serum that soaks in quickly. It not only includes sodium hyaluronate and actual hyaluronic acid, but other humectants and a couple peptides as well. It hydrated my skin and didn’t cause any pilling issues- plus I noticed some plumping after a couple weeks of twice-daily use. I would purchase this again if I was looking for a budget HA serum! 3. NIOD - Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex
is cool, but pricy at $60/30mL. the thinnest liquid of the group, it soaks in nearly instantly. The INCI list is stacked, including 15 forms of hyaluronic acid and HA precursors, plus peptides, for hydration, soothing, and anti-aging benefits. It soothed redness and made my skin feel so soft and hydrated, very plump, after twice daily use for a couple weeks. But the results aren’t worth the price since I use a separate peptide serum. I won’t repurchase. 2. DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
is a bouncy gel with sodium hyaluronate, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, and niacinamide, it costs $48 for 50mL. It soaks in slowly but completely. Twice daily use for only a couple weeks transformed my skin- hydrated and less oily! It also includes pineapple ceramide and plant extracts. I enjoy this serum and can’t recommend it enough to oily/combo folks. I repurchase often as it’s so nice to layer with other serums without any pilling. 1. PAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster
is my favourite HA serum. Sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, 3 ceramides, and many other humectants beef up this INCI list. This serum has helped me so much with my eczema and any redness, making my skin plump, soft, more even, and wonderfully hydrated. It’s a “creamy” gel that I happily apply twice daily, with zero pilling. I’ll repurchase forever, even at $36/15mL.

Products Getting Me Through Winter! ❄
Since I can remember I've had oily to combination skin, until this winter. It's been a rough one! My skin has been SO dry, and it's hard to keep up with it. Especially since I'm prone to acne and clogged pores, so I can't use a lot of heavy creams and pore clogging products. These I wouldn't be able to live without this winter! COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence 🐌 I love this essence! This is a Korean product (Korean skin care will always be a hit). And it's made with Snail Mucin, weird right? This contains 96% snail mucin, which has incredible healing and antimicrobial properties. It promotes collagen production and aids in skin regeneration. And it's a top pick for dry skin types because of its amazing ability to hydrate. This has a jelly-like texture and I find myself ALWAYS reaching for this. Most of the claimed benefits do come with time. Another product I'm loving is the DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum 💧This is a serum that came in a DE kit and I really want the full size! This seriously feels like a cold drink of water for your skin. It's lightweight and spreads nicely. It not only has Sodium Hyaluronate, (which is like hyarulonic Acid on steroids) but also Pineapple Ceramide and provitamin B5, an amazing humectant. As well as a lentil/apple/watermelon complex. It's not crazy different from other Hyarulonic Acid serums I've tried, but it's great! I finally got to try the cult favorite DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream . And wow I'm glad I did! This cream does have a few possible pore clogging ingredients so I was afraid to use it, but It's helped my dryness so much! It feels sooo moisturizing and soothing. I love that this is a protein moisturizer that has peptides, growth factors, amino acids, and pygmy waterlily to improve your overall skin health. This is an amazing anti-aging and skin strengthening moisturizer. I love using this it's a great experience. I already reviewed this incredible product, the Glossier. - Balm Dotcom 👄 It's become a staple lip balm for me. It's extremely hydrating and packed with antioxidants and natural emollients. It has Castor Oil, Beeswax, and Lanolin to seal in moisture. It leaves my lips looking sooo hydrated and smooth. It's THE perfect lip balm and I am obsessed. Feel free to comment or ask any questions below 💗

drunk elephant review with fungal acne🐘💗
as someone with fungal acne, buying the same products can be reaaallyyy boring. so this is my review of drunk elephant as someone with fungal acne!! * disclaimer, NONE of these products are fungal acne safe!! use at your own risk * DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser this cleansing balm doesn’t really emulsify when you activate it with water, leaving a really oily feeling😕 and doesn’t remove all my makeup DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample this is a really nice gentle foaming cleanser... and thats pretty much it. DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum i love this serum! its a lovely gel serum that absorbs in quickly and is greak at oil control DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum this serum is a little tricky, i haven’t really noticed a difference in my skin in terms if brightness, i do have a bit of dark spots and they haven’t budged. not to mention this formulation is a rip off of the SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Cream this is a thicc moisturizer that surprisingly doesn’t leave my oily skin looking greasy af. its a good moisturizer for dry combo skin! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream this moisturizer feels exactly like the lala retro... its just 8 dollars more expensive DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask this mask burns so bad the first 20 seconds but then it settles down. i really havent seen a difference in my skin so DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil ive only used this oil a few times but wow it really makes your skin feel super soft and dewy DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm i love this lip balm but its 16 dollars and the claim are completely false! in conclusion, i wont be repurchasing anymore of drunk elephant products because in reality they are just good products... nothing too special ESPECIALLY for the price. they aslo didn’t want to provide information about the percentage of black employees during the Pull Up Or Shut Up movement so yeah. their aesthetic is cute but ive grown out of this phase 😀 like and save!! xo melanie

The ordinary haul
so I impulsively got a ton of stuff from the ordinary based on reviews and what several of their online employees have recommended. I gotta save, I've only work the hyaluronic acid for a day and it feels fantastic! I'll be updating in a month-6 weeks to give an accurate update, but I really gotta talk about the hyaluronic acid. I've tried them before and they were just sticky, and didn't feel great, this one is fantastic! my face felt so plush and soft! it was the first thing I tried and it is amazing! posting new results in a short while guys!

Overhyped products; didn’t see a difference
I’ve used these products consistently over the period of a couple months (not necessarily in combination with each other). I haven’t noticed a difference and realize I don’t particularly love the feel of serums and oils. Here’s my review of each product individually and one ordinary product that I do feel like makes a difference. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator I was super excited to try and love this product and was mainly wanting help with blackheads on my nose. I haven’t noticed a difference even when using the product twice a day for a couple months. The product is very oily and it’s easy to get all over the bottle. Not a toner that can be used without a cotton pad The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I don’t love the textures of these products and am disappointed not seeing a difference after using consistently and over half the bottle is gone. dear, klairs - Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop This product is very oily. I want to include vitamin C in my skincare routine but just didn’t enjoy this particular one. e.l.f. - Happy Hydration Cream I love all of elf’s products and bought this thinking I would love it. It leaves a white cast and I don’t like the feel when I put this moisturizer on, because of this I have been using it just at night I order to not waste the product. Elf has much better products than this one for sure! One product I do like: The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I’ve started using this once a week and believe it is helping with my blackheads. It is drying and I have sensitive skin so if you’re like me I would suggest only once a week for 8 min and consider a hydrating mask afterwards.

Why to Add HA Serum to your Routine
The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid serum is a cult favourite. It has won an Allure Beauty Award in 2019. It retails for only $6.80 CAD. When winter came and I was noticing that my skin was feeling dry by midday it was an easy decision to add it to my routine! Claims It is a pure vegan hyaluronic acid that includes low, medium and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, at a concentration of 2%. It is supported by Vitamin B5 for enhanced hydration. It targets dryness. Good for all skin types. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Hyaluronic Acid helps plump fine lines and improves elasticity and dryness. It’s a great addition to your skincare routine once you are in your 30s to help with hydration, as the amount of HA in our skin decreases as we get older. HA is sugar that is found naturally in our skin. It can hold 1000x its weight in water. Eating a diet with lots of fruits & vegetables with antioxidants can also help us retain HA. HA can we found in HA serums, an addition to serums with other actives, and creams. HA plays well with most other ingredients. A cream or serum with HA in different molecular weights allows it to seep into different layers of skin. HA are typically less expensive than other serums such as Vit C. It works best when applied to a damp face or before a water-based serum or moisturizer because it pulls the water into your skin. Otherwise it could pull the water out of your skin. My Experience The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The serum is clear and easily applies. I don’t experience any tackiness. When I first introduced this product to my routine I was using it AM & PM as it recommends, but I started noticing some irritation, red cheeks. I read some people can experience irritation from HA. I scaled back to only using in the AM. I put it on directly after my cleanser and before my Vit C serum. No more irritation. I have noticed that the dryness I was experiencing by midday is gone but I can’t say that I’ve noticed any difference in fine lines or wrinkles. A HA serum with more molecular weights and a higher percentage might have better results. But for $7 I can’t complain. Other HA to try include: VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum GLOW RECIPE - Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid SerumPAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster

You’re new best friend HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid? Who is she? She’s your new best friend also called “hyaluronan” hyaluronic acid is found naturally in your body, it’s in your eyes, skin, and connective tissue (she does it all.) hyaluronic acid main function is to retain moisture, it can hold up to 1000x times it weight in moisture! So what is it gonna do? It is going to trap that moisture from the air suck it in and slap it right onto your pretty perfect face And keep your skin hydrated, smooth, plump, and cute! Once it does that it’s actually going to tell your sebaceous gland to slow down on the production of sebum, so if you have oily dehydrated skin this will work the wonders you’ve been looking for. Hyaluronic has plentiful of Benefits, it helps wounds especially from acne so it will help heal instead of scar. Sense your body produces hyaluronic acid it’s actually very rare for someone to have allergic reaction to this ingredient! What I’ve done is put together 3 products ranging from $5 to $100 let’s say hi and talk about them! The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 the ordinary brand has been making its way across social media and I have to say for around $5 you can’t beat it, it has 15 forms of hyaluronic acid & B5 that enhances hydration but one of the negatives is that it has a PH level of 6-7.5 your skin needs to stay between 4.5-5.5 so after using this product you will need a nice toner to bring your skin balance back down to the proper PH. PAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster Paulas choice has been around for A long time! She knows what she’s doing out there 💋 after water hyaluronic is the 3rd ingredient in this product and has been apart of 7 RESEARCH STUDYS SENSE 2003! For a whopping $36 I think if you have the extra coin to try it! Now with this product there are more Pro reviews than there are CONS but on the CON side the main issue seems to be people are having reactions to other ingredients in this product. SKINCEUTICALS - Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Serum THIS RIGHT HERE! She is one of the top products recommended by dermatologist out on the market she goes for a hefty $100 but lets dive a little deeper, 10% proxy lane which helps the hyaluronic acid levels on your skin stay balanced for a longer time 0.2% purple rice extract, helps preserve hyaluronic acid 1.3% hyaluronic acid (this is the golden number of how much hyaluronic acid you would want in a product) With these ingredients it’s amplifies hyaluronic acid by 30%! Hope this helped you beautiful people out just a little, please follow me for more product knowledge and next time we will dig deeper into KNOWING YOUR CORRECT SKIN TYPE! Stay beautiful stay sexy, you all are perfect the way you are💋❤️

Worth the hype? Best hyaluronic serum?
VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum It seems that everyone has been raving about this product and rightfully so. It is light weight and can easily incorporate into your day/ night skincare routine. This serum’s base is mineral rich volcanic water—89% to be exact, and contains “15 skin-loving minerals including iron, potassium, calcium, and manganese that work to moisturize skin, re-balance its pH, and protect against pollutants.” — Vichy Another bragging point, is that this product contains only 11 ingredients — clean, allergy tested, dermatologist tested , and Vegan. We all know what an amazing ingredient hyaluronic acid is for our skin—plumps and retain moisture. And this product does just that. It’s so simple and I would definitely recommend this for friends that have very sensitive skin. The only set back about this brand (in general) is that I’m not 100% sure of their cruelty free status. According to their site they do not test on animals but it seems that they currently sell/ market their products in China — which requires animal testing. Maybe this is old news? And if not, hopefully one day that’ll change. So I use it and love it with hesitation and I’m not sure if I would repurchase after I finish the bottle. Maybe I’ll change my mind- who knows. If that (cruelty-free status) is not a factor when you buy/ use cosmetics than go for it! It is $30 and it’s super accessible- available on Ulta*, CVS, Walgreens, Vichy.com, Skinstore.com. If you find yourself on a budget, get it at CVS. There’s always a sale and of course coupons. ** Ulta has them in 3 sizes. Here are some hyaluronic acid serums that are confirmed 🐰cruelty-free: THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Please share your favorites below. I know that a lot of us struggle with frizz - especially during the winter season! I have been really trying to work on my hair health this past month and here’s one of the products I’ve been using! Skincare for enlarged pores&redness prone skin!
Love a gentle face wash for AM, hyaluronic acid then vitamin C is a must have for the morning. Then seal it all in with a moisturizer and then eye cream around the eyes. Lastly, sunscreen! Which is probably the most important part :) PM is face wash- HA serum- face cream - then wait for that to dry is key! - then apply tretinoin or retinol to minimize irritation. Eye cream to finish off When wearing makeup, break up with cleansing balm or micellar water then double cleanse! Ingredient Breakdown: Peptides
Ingredient Breakdown: Peptides
Collagen is a protein made up of amino acids, imparting bounce and firmness. But collagen can be broken down by free radicals (hello, oxidizing fragrance/volatile essential oil compounds), smoking, UV rays, and age. Age contributes to collagen loss also because your body makes less collagen peptides after some time in your 20s. Topical collagen-containing products don’t work, as collagen molecules are too big to pass through the epidermis. Instead, use peptides to help it act younger and make more collagen! Peptides (also made up of amino acids) are small enough to get to the dermis where collagen is made. In response, skin should start making more peptides to form more collagen. Copper peptides are considered particularly beneficial, though the main benefit over normal peptides is their wound healing capability, making them wonderful for those with acne, on top of their anti-aging benefit. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream contains 9 varieties of peptides, including copper peptides, as well as a variety of amino acids, fatty acids, and humectants. I love this gel-cream, it’s wonderful as a multifaceted moisturizer that is light enough for oily skin and helps fight signs of aging. PAULA'S CHOICE - Peptide Booster contains 8 peptides, amino acids, fatty acids, and a variety of humectants. No copper peptides, instead incorporating a variety of antioxidants, helping to contribute to the calmness of skin and prevent free radical-induced breakdown of collagen. An amazing anti-aging serum with a texture that sits between creamy and silky, sinking in quickly and giving my skin quite a bit of plumpness. This would be the best of the bunch for a multifaceted anti-aging peptide product. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% contains seven peptides -one of which is a copper peptide- plus a variety of amino acids and hyaluronic acid. It’s a simple yet effective serum that is a bit tacky and smells of metal, but the results are worth it. Applying it to a scab/large acne lesion nightly speeds along its healing noticeably- plus I see less hyperpigmentation develop afterwards. I can’t recommend this enough as a budget-friendly entry into peptide serums!

Perfect if your skincare is missing hydration!
Perfect if your skincare is missing hydration!
This was one of the first products that I actually bought for the ingredient list instead of hype. WHICH IS HOW I SHOULD SHOP FOR SKINCARE. This product has antioxidants, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and allantonin. All of these ingredients are amazing for hydrating the skin and decreasing sensitivity, both totally needed for my skin! I would really say this product would be appropriate for all skin types, even oily because of the addition of niacinamide. HOWEVER those with a confirmed case (please go to a doctor for this quit self-diagnosing, guys) of malassezia (pityrosporum) folliculitis or fungal “acne” should NOT use this product as the galactomyces can feed the yeast and exacerbate the problem. This product is a little sticky feeling on the skin and feels kind of gross at first because I live in SUCH a humid tropical climate but I have adjusted to it. I did take a star for that because it says essence and feels like a quite sticky serum. No fragrance and a great balance of naturally derived products and stable lab ingredients make for an excellent product. This is a perfect inexpensive step (I got it for $17 USD on Amazon) for anyone wanting to experiment with K-Beauty but is reactive/sensitive! COSRX - Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence

{gifted}{emptied}{repurchased} THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum Skin type: Combination, sensitive Product purpose: Hydration! Texture is a watery gel, product is scentless This product was gifted to me by the wonderful Inkey List team. I will sing their praises over and over - they make simple, effective skincare with no BS and I LOVE it. Not all of their products work for me, but this one is AMAZING. I have tried a lot of hyaluronic acid serums, ranging from drugstore brands to high-end ones. My favorite one prior to this one was PTR’s cloud serum, but alas, it started breaking me out (either the cream or the serum, but I ditched both). So imagine how surprised I was to find a product cheaper than ANYTHING I ever tried (it’s $6.50) that works perfectly well and does not break me out. I use this product right after my lighter serums, right before moisturizer. I use just a pea-sized amount for my face, spray it with a hydrating mist (HA absorbs water) and seal it in with an oil/moisturizer. Using this makes my skin feel extra hydrated and dewy, and if I’m feeling sensitive, I’ll use this with very little or no moisturizer. I highly recommend it. Best case - you’ve found your HG hydrator. Worst case - you lost $6.50, which is relatively little when it comes to experimenting with skincare products.

How to Use Retinoids Without Wrecking Your Skin
How to Use Retinoids Without Wrecking Your Skin
Retinoids are amazing. Whether you’re using adapalene (Differin) to treat acne, over-the-counter retinols to prevent signs of aging or correct hyperpigmentation, or plan to start tretinoin (Retin-A) for both, retinoids are exciting and have decades of research to back up their efficacy. But they can be a bit tricky- after all, almost anyone who turns to retinoids is warned of flaking, dryness, purging, redness, irritation... side effects galore. Except, it’s honestly pretty easy to avoid most of those. The purging is somewhat inevitable due to how retinoids work, but mixing retinol with an oil or applying an oil in the same routine can help stave off a lot (if not all) of the irritation, redness, flaking, and/or dryness. Oils help to fortify the skin barrier with fatty acids, as well as seal in the moisture from your hydrating serums and/or your moisturizer. I figured this tip out after accidentally forgetting to apply an oil (a usual part of my PM routine) with my tretinoin and immediately experienced flaking around my nose. Here are my favourite retinol+oil combos... The Ordinary - Retinol 1% in Squalane is my favourite over-the-counter retinol, melding two wonderful and simple ingredients: squalane and retinol. They offer three concentrations, beginning at 0.2%, then 0.5%, and finally 1%. I saw no irritation slowly making my way between the various concentrations, the squalane drying down to a lovely satin finish if you use in the AM before sunscreen. THE inkey LIST - Rosehip Oil applied after my Apostrophe Tretinoin has helped immensely- I didn’t notice any flaking/dryness until the night I forgot to apply it after my tret, which is impressive! I also haven’t experienced any redness or increased sensitivity, which I credit partly to this oil (also partly to my soothing serums). It’s already been helping with my acne and hyperpigmentation, as well as some tiny bumpy texture that has been persistently plaguing my forehead since before the beginning of my skincare journey years ago. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil applied after DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil is a dream team combination for aging, dry skin- as well as a wonderful way to correct texture and tone! I can’t recommend this specific combination enough for helping with uneven texture and uneven tone. It lightened some of my dark spots and really helped smooth the orange peel texture on my chin, with the oil keeping a lot of the dryness at bay.

New empty that I love using on my décolletage
New empty that I love using on my décolletage
As Caroline Hurons says - “take it to the ( • )( • )” THE inkey LIST - Collagen Booster Firming Peptide Serum - While I don’t necessarily love this product for my face (it IS hydrating and makes the skin plump, but ultimately I think I prefer the The Ordinary - ''Buffet'') I have loved using this on my neck and chest every morning and night. I’ve gone through the whole bottle now and I think if this doesn’t provide you with the results you wanted on your face, you might like it as a neck / chest / shoulders serum! The good: + Very lightweight and glides over the skin so easily. Perfect for covering a large area like your chest, shoulders, etc. + Absorbs into the skin quickly and there is no pilling or obvious residue. + Skin definitely feels hydrated and plump afterwards. I would even go so far to say that my chest feels a little smoother after application. + For sensitive skin friends - there is no fragrance or essential oils included. + Didn’t cause any breakouts whatsoever. + Key ingredients include glycerin (humectant that moisturizers skin), hyaluronic acid (another humectant), Matrixyl 3000 (peptide that was shown in a clinical study that it could provide anti-ageing effects) and Syn-tacks (another peptide). The not so good: - To set expectations, skin feels plump and hydrated after using this, but I don’t necessarily see any effects in terms of anti ageing or extra firmness of the skin. This could be because it’s more of a preventative product versus see-results-in-2-weeks product. - The two peptides that they highlight as key ingredients are near the very bottom of the ingredient list. Maybe not a big deal, but I want to point it out. - I do wish they came out with a bigger bottle. But maybe they will soon! Worth it? Well for like $9, yeah, I think it’s an affordable way to give your décolletage some much needed love. I have seen so many neck creams / serums that are incredibly expensive and it can seem kind of daunting. So this could be a great starter option if you want to try something out before splurging. Will I repurchase? I actually will! At first I was like meh, I don’t need a new one. And then this morning I didn’t have any to put on my chest / neck and I immediately decided to go get another. It’s just so affordable and it provides an extra boost of moisture. Ps I have combo, acne prone skin. Pps I have seen mixed messaging about the effectiveness of peptides in skincare and the validity of the clinical studies, so I would suggest doing some research so that you can form your own opinions on the topic :)

✨The Ordinary Niacinamide + Zinc serum – this one was better for summer time as it reduced oil production. Now when we have colder weather I am not using it as my skin needs more hydration and moisture ✨ mabox Vitamin C 20% Serum – It contains 20% of magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (vit C derivative), but despite of this high concentration it never irritated my skin!! It is very moisturizing and leaves the skin bright and plump. Still testing the impact on post acne scars but I definitely see the improvement! ✨ klairs Vitamin Drop Serum – you may already know my opinion on this, but for those who didn’t read – it’s a nice, gentle vitamin C serum. Great as an introduction to vitamin C as it’s non irritating and moisturizing, but for people who used any stronger vit C serum before, this may not be effective ✨ iunik Tea Tree Relief Serum – loving this so far! Calms any redness and irritation, especially love using it when I apply AHA’s or in the morning after a night with acid treatment. It’s non sticky but well hydrating at the same time
