Product: ✨Gua Sha and Jade Roller facial tools help improve skin elasticity, reduce puffiness and fine lines, and ease facial muscle tensions. They also boost blood circulation and promote lymphatic draining. My thoughts: I have been using both tools for over a year now and I absolutely love them! The Gua Sha tool does more in terms of sculpting and muscle tension but requires a little more technique than jade rollers do. I use jade roller around my eyes/mouth area and I use the gua sha for my forehead, cheeks, and neck. Both tools have really helped my skin feel more rejuvenated and healthy. I’ve noticed my face looks naturally more lifted and alive. I keep them in the fridge for a more soothing and therapeutic experience. ✨Lymphatic draining on the neck should be done prior to starting on the face to make sure the toxins have a route to escape (recommended by a dermatologist). ✨The most important part of using these tools is cleaning them properly each time after use or else they will cause acne and/or irritation.

mikachuI have both of these and really want to try using them regularly! But I’m worried about them making my acne worse since my skin is so acne-prone 😱

Skinovations_My skin is extremely acne prone as well but these tools have actually helped maintain my acne because I use these tools to press my products into my skin deeper than my hands can, thus giving my skin more deep contact with the product. I ALWAYS make sure to clean my tools with alcohol before putting them away because if you don’t clean the tools after each use, they can gather a lot bacteria. Just make sure to keep them clean and you should be good to go!☺️

Cheap at home facial
I bought this L.E.D light mask from Walmart and it was $36 which isn’t bad considering that paying for this at an actual spa can be way more expensive!!!! • How many times should it be used ?: It is recommended by esthetician’s to use it 3 times a week for 20 minutes • what do each lights do? : -Red: stimulates the production of collagen, and collagen is an essential protein that is used to repair damaged tissue and replaces it with new and improved tissue. This also helps with large pores - Blue: acts as an anti-inflammatory light and helps with acne. It also has a calming effect on the skin which can help for sensitive skin - purple: since it is a mix of red and blue it does the same things it says above ( since the colors are combined together) but it also helps with yellow pigmentation, wrinkles, helps the blood circulation - green: balances color pigment, reduces fine lines, helps the process of healing a cut and helps with aging skin Overall, this product has been working on my skin I first cleanse my skin then use it , then once I’m done I go in with all of my serums and treatments Pure daily care - LUMA Light Therapy Facial Mask this isn’t the exact one I got but you can find affordable ones in Walmart.com

I’d showcase an all pink skinc
I’d showcase an all pink skincare routine featuring my meejeeco cleansing device I’m new to the world of cleansing tools but I’ve always been interested and have heard amazing things. Tbh, I just couldn’t bring myself to spend the money because so many of them are expensive. But since using the meejee I’m officially hooked. It provides gentle vibrations that left my skin incredibly soft, smooth & clean! Also, I have had NO breakouts since using this - not sure if it’s because of the meejee or just a coinkydink 🤷‍♀️ It’s a great size that is easy to hold and comes with its own charger (no batteries!) Like seriously, why have I never used one before!?

Jade Roll?
Jade Roll?
grace & stella - Rose quartz face roller Received this product as an add on in my Ipsy subscription for 12$. I have never experimented with skincare tools because i always felt someone with acne prone skin may be these tools will aggravate my acne even more. But in the recent times my skin has become a lot clearer. And i think i was ready for this. Talking about the product it’s a jade roller made of jade stone used in Chinese traditional medicine and a popular skin care tool. How does it work?? 🔸 when we massage our face with the roller, we increase the flow of blood which helps in making our skin look more healthy and plump. 🔸this also helps in lymphatic drainage leading to skin detoxification. 🔸 when used regularly it helps in reducing the puffiness, giving a nice lifting effect to our face . How to use?? 🔸 can be used in your AM- PM routine after the application of serum 🔸 while using sheet masks Pro Tip: make sure ro refrigerate it Atleast an hour before usage and also please be careful while handling this. As it is very delicate. If strongly hit on a floor / a hard surface can easily break. Cons: 🔸 I don’t think it works for anti aging, reducing wrinkles . But if you are interested in investing in a good skincare tool, this could be a start!🤓 Happy Day Guys!👻 Xoxo💋

Clarisonic Mia 2

I really enjoy using my Clarisonic Mia 2! Before I owned this one, I owned the originally Mia. It’s meant to really deep clean your skin, but doing it in a gentle way that won’t hurt you, makeup your skin irritated or dry. It targets making sure your face is extra clean. This is supposed to clean your face immensely better than your fingers alone. It vibrates letting the bristles of the brush head get your cleanser down into your pores and help get all the dirt, oil and makeup off! The brush head is slightly on the stiff side, but not too hard to where it hurts you. As long as you use gentle pressure it’ll be fine. I’ve been using a Clarisonic for years now, probably 4 or so. I wanted to try it out at first because I was getting more into skincare at the time and I was struggling with acne and I just wanted a tool that really cleansed my skin well. I really like using this to clean my face at night. I don’t use it in the mornings, I use it at night to really ensure all my makeup is off before doing the rest of my skincare routine. And it’s so easy because it can go into the shower with you and you just take it out whenever it needs recharged and it does so over night. I would recommend this product to anyone who struggles with acne because it really does deep cleanse your face and makes sure you have nothing left on it at the end of the day! Now I know Clarisonic‘s are a bit on the pricey side however, I have thoroughly enjoyed using both my Mia and now Mia 2. Plus they last a really long time. You can buy replaceable brush heads whenever you need them (about every 2-3 months or so) and you take it out and recharge it. The only reason I had to eventually replace my Mia was because the battery stopped holding a charge as long as I would like. But it still lasted for years and so has my Mia 2, so they’re definitely worth the price. I hope you like it if you try one out! :) clarisonic - Mia Prima Facial Cleansing & Pore Minimizing Skincare Device

A relic of the past - dont let robots scrub you
A relic of the past - dont let robots scrub you
*not in catalogue We all remember the days where Clarisonic reigned supreme and every OG YouTuber sung its praises and touted its efficacy at ridding your skin of all traces of acne. Well this was a purchased influenced solely on those days. A automatic face scrubber that will solve all my problems. A Sonicare for my face skin. I didn’t know much about skincare back in those days, we were all kinda winging it but I took that leap and regretted it The Clarisonic is a powered facial scrubber (cringing now just putting those words together) that claims to give your skin a deeper, more thorough clean. It’s meant for all skin types and offers varying brush heads to treat a spectrum of skin issues like sensitive skin and acne. I’ll say, I’ve tried both the sensitive skin and normal brush heads and both were too abrasive for my liking. The device itself feels premium I’ll give it that. It has a nice weight to it and the build feels sturdy, I trust that it’s waterproof. I noticed when I used this product which was on a daily basis for about 3 months back when I first purchased it, I saw a change in my skin for the worse. It became irritated, inflamed, tight. My acne ceased to be localized to a specific area and spread. I now know that this was due to overexfoliation which is something many of us are versed on these days thank goodness. By scrubbing my face too often I have compromised the skins natural protective barrier and made it susceptible to bacteria, dehydration, etc. Although I’m sure the cleanser I used in conjunction contributed to this issue, I know now that these days I would never put such a device anywhere near my face. If I knew someone interested in picking one of these up, the most I could advise is to relegate it to body usage only. In other words, no I do not recommend it. I know it’s worked for some but I’m convinced those people never washed their face before giving one of these a go, so anything would have been an improvement. 2/5 stars (giving it points for build quality and brush head options)

Need a little self care? How d
Need a little self care? How does a facial massage with gua sha sound?⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ My gua sha and I are basically BFFs. I’m so obsessed with my nightly gua sha massage ritual because it is also incredibly relaxing. ⁣⁣⁣ Gua sha is a tool used by Ancient Chinese to scrape the skin to promote circulation and heal the body. It is believed to smooth the look of wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture, and firm the face contour. It is also beneficial for acne-prone skin because it helps to increase the blood flow in the face promoting better circulation.⁣⁣⁣ The method I prefer to perform gua sha is to start with a hydrating facial mist. I used Odacite Mint + Green Tea Hydra-Purifying Treatment Mist. I don’t want to spritz my face just a little, I want to get it good and wet for the whole face and neck. From there, apply a face oil. I’m really into Odacite All-Embracing Serum right now. I only need 2-3 pumps, then I rub my hands together to warm the serum and press to apply it all over my face and neck. The essential oils in the products also acts as aromatherapy resulting in a whole host of benefits.⁣⁣⁣ As you can see in the video, I start from the bottom, move to the side of the face and work my way up under my hairline. I personally like to stroke from the base of my neck and move upward. But some techniques also said to stroke the tool downward to your lymphatic drainage. I think none of gua sha techniques are wrong, they are simply different and just remember to do what feels good.⁣⁣⁣ A gua sha massage will moves all of that water and lymph under the skin. After a gua sha session, I immediately noticed that my jaw felt relaxed and my breathing felt better too.
